Hello and welcome back to the next chapter of Tales of Tamers Xilla! This is it the last chapter of the Merlot arc. Then a break chapter and then were on to to finish volume 2. Last time on Tales of Tamers Xilla; The gang were able to hide aboard the cargo ship as it came to an unknown Island . Their they discover it to be Merlot home base of operations. They went to disable several jamming towers. A log the way they ran into Bearmon who appear to get along with Yang. Thanks to Bearmon they knew were to find Merlot lab, as the doctor himself call the gang. Lucky Ozpin phone in to help guide then. They made it to the outside of the lab where they were attack by a Boarmon. But it was thanks to Yang and Bearmon who became partners and Bearmon digivolve to Grizzlymon to roast the pig. The Tamers then venture into the lab to take down Merlot once and for all.

Merlot inc

Takato PoV: Were finally here, after everything we been through, we finally made to Merlot lab. Once we got inside, we saw it was all clear so far. "Well gang were inside, so now what?" Yang ask. "We do as Ozpin said, we find a terminal for Erika to hack it. Once we have Merlot data, we find him and force him to tell why he have Digimon working for him." I said. "Welcome students to Merlot inc. Where the Techlogix of a genius make the world the better place today." Merlot voice said from the intercom. "Genius my ass, more like hack it you sk me someone sure love stroking his ego." Koga said. "Now please stay where you are. A tour guide will be there to show you around shortly." Merlot said as a pair of robots came in. They were white arm with Grenade launchers. "Well shit." I curse. "We got this." Jerico said as he and Koga step up. Jerico ran to the first as he slash the robot weapon in half before it go the chance to fire. He then stab it in the chest and slash upward to finish it.

The other robot fires an grenade at Koga who caught it with out effort. He smirk. "I think this is yours." He said as he toss it to the robot feet. It start to panic as it explodes into bits. "Good work." Ryo said. "So now what?" Teepo ask. I look around to see an elevator. "This way guys." I said as we rode it down. Once we step out we came to a room that have many machines hard at work. 'What this place?" Nora ask. "Look like to be an manufacturing wing." Weiss said. "It likely where Merlot made those robots of his." Jerico said. "And who know what else?" Ask Ren. "Uh guys." Ruby said as she points to a convertor belt that was carrying several metal plates. 'Those look like what was use to control me." Gabumon said. "Care to fill us in?" Hackmon ask. "A while back a doctor form Remnant supply the terrorist group Exodus with dust weapons and Gabumon to attack us." Rika said. "Gabumon have a control collar on him." Koga said with a growl. "The doctor is why we agree to come to beacon." I said.

"So, it appear, that Merlot is this Doctor you seek." Sven said. "We can't be certain of that until we confront Merlot. Let keep moving." I said. "But first we got to deal with them." Hiro said as we saw four red robots came in in. "We got this." Yang said as Team Rwby got ready. Ruby rush at the first one as it stab at her. She slide under it as she shot it in the head taking it out. Weiss created a gravity Glyph to trap the second one as she stab it through the chest. The 3rd was slashing at Blake. She uses her shadow clone to dodge and then cut it in half at the waist. Yang quickly dodge the last one spear as it Nik her hair. Her eyes turn red as she grab it arm and torn it off. She then punch it head clean off. "Man, and I thought I have anger issues." Zoey said shock. Rika sigh. "That Yang semblance, see any damage she take she can turn it into her own strength and dish it back out. But she get really mad." She said. "We should keep moving everyone." Alice said. "Right let move." I said as we continue to move through out the lab.

We soon came to a room fill with tubes that hold more of that green ooze from outside. "This stuff again, what is it?" Jaune ask. "My theory is this slime is what Merlot is using to evolve the Grimm." Sven said. "I say we should wreck this shit." Nora said. "Good idea Nora, less mutants the better let it rip." I said. She grin madly. "Oh with pleasure." She said as she open fire on the vats destroying them. "No! My serum, well no matter I all ready gather enough data to create more." Merlot said. "How about you be a proper host and stop hiding from us." Kenji said. "If you want me boy I'm on the lowest level of my lab. I'll be waiting for you." He said. "I thinking that nut job is taunting us." Ludomon said. "Don't let that old fart get to you man." Zubamon said. "Agree, Merlot is most likely setting a trap for us." Ren said. "I know, But it doesn't matter we are here to stop him. Let go I see an elevator a head." I said as we got on and rode it down. When we got off we saw a tunnel in front of us.

We follow it to a room with a terminal. "Keisuke your up." I said. "Leave it to me." He said as he ran to it. He quickly hook his scroll up. "Erika can you heard me?" He ask. "Keisuke you big dummy do you know how worry I was about you. Oh your so going to get it!" She shout as he look worry. "Hehe, Sorry Erika I'll make it up to you I promise. But right now we need you to download Merlot files." Keisuke said. "You better, ok beginning download make sure to buy me some time." She said. "We got company!" Nora shout as we saw Grimm and robots coming at us. "Crushing strike!" I shout as I smash a creeper into the ground. "Rock breaker!" Guilmon shout as strike a beo wolf. "Sonic slash!" Rika shout as she slice a robot in two. "Diamond storm!" Renamon shout as she shot diamonds at a group. "Teepo roar!" Elize shout as Teepo slams into a robot. "Tear shoot!" Lunamon shout as she finish the robot. Kenji dodge a boaratusk as he stabs into it and shot a fire dust round to take it out.

"Fif slash!" Hackmon shout as he slash his claws against a grenade bot. Ryo slam his tonfa into a bot then shot through it. "Fire breath!" Monodramon shout as he shot a few of them. Alice jump over a beo wolf that slash at her and use her whip sword to sent it to Dobermon who pounce on it and tore off it head. Koga stab his claw into an ursa to force it head to the ground crushing it. "Horn attack!" Gabumon shout as he stabs his horn into a bot. Jerico use his smgs to shoot down a spinning boaratusk. 'Pepper breath!" Agumon shout as he blast the pig Grimm to bits. "Ryushosen!" Hiro shout as he slash upwards at a creeper. "Katana attack!" Ryudamon shout as he shot down another. "Cleansing lance!" Zoey shout as she strike her water coated lance into an ursa that got stun by Meicoomon. Keisuke aim at a spear bot and hit it with and ice dust round. "20 dive!" Zubamon shout as he slam into one.

Sven was over by the terminal as he shot anything that got close. "Metal blast!' Dorumon shout as he bep wolf down. Ruby uses her semblance to dash past a group to cut them down. Palmon use her vines to throw some off them back. Weiss stab the ground to send ice spikes at them. Blake jump at a grenade bot and perform a double slash to take it out. "Cat gaze!" Blackgatomon shout as she blast few grim with an eye blast. Yang smirk as she grab a pair of bots by the head and smash them together. Bearmon jump and kick one in the chest. Jaune parry off a spear bot and dis arm it, Ludomon then tackle it. Pyrrha use her semblance to push a few into the wall. Ren did a spin kick to sent a mutant creeper away as it explodes. "Ninja blade!" Falcomon shout as he threw his shuriken at them. Nora jump at a mutant beo wolf and slam her grenade launcher into it open mouth. She pull the trigger and explode the Grimm from the inside.

"How we doing Erika?" I ask. "Download complete, we got a lot of data. Ozpin has sent an airship to come and get you." She said. "Will do bug girl." Yang said. "Keisuke stay safe, I love you." Erika said. "I love you too, see you soon." He said as he hung up. "Some girl you got there Keisuke." Jerico said with a grin. "That she is." Keisuke said. "Let go, we still need to find Merlot." I said as we hurry onward. It didn't take us long to reach a large open chamber. The ground was made of earth. "Ah welcome students I'm glad you could made it." A voice said. We look up to see a platform, on it was an old man with white spikey hair. He wore a white lab coat, his left eye and right arm were cybernetic. He wasn't alone up there. With him was a large grey machine with 4 legs and long arms. The top of it head was a long blue dome. Sven check his D-arc. "[Datamon ultimate level machine Digimon. His brain is that of a super computer as he out think his foes with his nano swarm attack.]" He said. "So are you the one who been controlling the Digimon we encounter?" I ask.

"Afriad not, my master sent me to aid and observe the doctor experiments." Datamon said. "Eiter way you two are under arrest for crimes against the Kingdom of Vale." Pyrrha said. "I think not my dear. We have much work to do and to fix because of you meddling kids. But you can be some use of us, you just in time to help us test my latest experiment." He said as the ground starts to shake. Oh, that not good. Something soon burst out off the ground. It was a giant scorpion Grimm. It has green eyes as there were green crystal spikes on it legs and pinchers. Its stinger was a green crystal spike. "A mutant deathstalker!" Ruby shout worry. "Not a problem for us." Agumon said. Suddenly the room start to glow green. "Don't bother Tamers, this room was equip to prevent Digivolvtion, you have fun now." Datamon said. "Were is for a tough battle." Said Ryo. "We face worst let take this thing out!" I said. "Why did it have to be a bug." Rika said with a sigh. "Here it comes!" Nora shout as the Grimm charges at us.

Heroes vs The mutant deathstalker

"Burn them away Moeru Ryu!" I shout as I change to ShiKai. "Moeru Talho!" I shout as I sent a fire blast to push it back. "Pyro sphere!" Guilmon shout as he shot it in the face. it cries out as it tries to hit us. "Open gate of the Golden lion Leo!" Rika shout as the spirit appear. "You call princess?" He ask. "Crush that damn bug!" She shout. "On it, Regulus kick!" He shout as he slam his foot into the bug side. "Diamond storm!" Renamon shout as she attack it from above. "Dread wings!" Elize shout as she sent the dark energy swords into it back. "Tear shoot!" Lunamon said as she hit it in the leg. Kenji use this to get close to the scorpion and slash off one of it legs. "Teen ram!" Hackmon shout as he slams into it underside. The deathstalker tries to grab them with it pincher as Ryo and Monodramon were able to block it. Alice rode on Dobermon as the dog Digimon slams into the insect side as his Tamer slash at it face.

Koga set out his familiars into it legs to cause it to fall down. "Blue blaster!" Gabumon shout as he shot flames at it face getting it to cry out. Jerico put his swords together as they combine into a double blade sword. He then threw it as it slice off the right pincher. "Pepper breath!" Agumon shout as he shot it in the side. The Grimm dug underground and came at us. "Doryusen!" Hiro shout as he strike the ground forcing the Grimm to jump out as Ryudamon pelt it with his blades. "Hexa strike!" Zoey shout as she struck it with a 6 hit combo. "Tricobezoar!" Meicoomon shout as her hair balls explodes on it. Sven use his chains to pull the Deathstalker down while Dorumon stomp on it head to force it down. Keisuke use this to hit it with a lighting dust round. "20 dive!" Zubamon shout as he tackle into it. The Grimm soon broke free of it bonds and swung it tail at them. Jaune, Pyrrha and Ludomon use their shields to block the strike.

Ren slide under it as he shot it under side. "Fire cracker smokescreen!" Falcomon shout as he threw a smoke bomb to blind it. Nora let out a cry as she slam her hammer into it back causing an explosion. Ruby speed past and sweep it off it feet. Palmon then held it down with her vines. Yang, Bearmon and Blackgatomon slams their fist into it to sent it into the wall. "Weiss, Blake checkmate!" Ruby shout. "Right." The said. Weiss form a clock like glyph under Blake as it spun. Blake start to glow purple as she swung her sword to fire a purple energy slash that cut off the Deathstalker stinger. "We need to finish it." Kenji said. "Leave it to me." I said as I change to a reverse grip and my sword glows red. "Behold the sword of the dragon king! Ryugonken!" I shout as I cut the Grimm in half down the middle. It cries out as it dissolves. "No!" Merlot shout as Jerico shot the platform causing them to land infront of us.

"It over you two you're coming with us." I said as we all aim our weapons at them. "I don't think so." A voice said as some thing appear behind them. It was a large humanoid creature with bulky sliver armor with purple 9 like symbols on it. It face was cover by a sliver mask with two horns and a single red eye in the middle. I check my D-arc. "[Parallelmon mega level mutant Digimon. A being with the power to travel dimensions, he can be quite elusive with his absorbent bang and endless trance attacks.]" I said. "A mega?" Ryo ask worry. Merlot look to relax. "Ah Parallelmon perfect timing my friend, come left us be off." He said. "Sorry doctor but I'm afraid you are no longer needed." He said as he look down at Merlot. "But my research is valuable to her cause." Merlot said. "No, it not good bye doctor." Parallelmon shout as he raise his claw. "No pleas-" Merlot never finish as the mega crush him into a bloody stain on the ground.

"My god!" Weiss shout as she cover her mouth. Kenji cover Ruby eyes so she didn't have to look as I did the same to Elize. "You kill him." Ren said lost for words. I growl. "Why wasn't he your allied?" I ask. "Our master allied believe Merlot work to be a threat to her plan. It true he made the Grimm more powerful, but also uncontrollable. Better to put an end to it." Datamon said. Parallelmon look to us. "Tamer of the Hazard, be warn this isn't over. My master will come for you." He said as they vanish. "Well that was something." Yang said as she rub the back of her head. "What does this mean Takato?" Rika ask me. "It not good love, for now let head back to beacon and tell Ozpin what happen." I said as we start to make our way out of the lab. Just who is this master they spoke of and this woman he working with. What ever going on this is only the beginning.

Blake: With our mission complete we head back to Beacon to rest. Although we did have a encounter with a tam from Haven.
