Hello people, I'm terribly sorry for being inactive all this time, but school is hard, hopefully I'll get stuff done now that I have more or less caught up with what I have missed. Anyways this is the first chapter to a new request story by Samuel Dudek. This story will be strictly BellxRay.

I don't actually have much to say other than apologizing for the absence, but don't worry all of my stories are by no means dead. They are going to very much continue.

Hope you enjoy this one as well.

The Siren And The Bunny

Chapter 1 – First Encounter

-Remote Village In The North-

A tall man, old yet muscly and handsome with electric blue eyes and hair and beard of snow white stood amidst the fields that he had just finished tilting. He used his arm to brush off the sweat that drenched his forehead as he observed the sun sinking beyond the horizon.

As he finished his work for the day, he turned around to spot a cluster of white moving across the tall grain field and towards him. He chuckled and opened his arms as he expected a little boy jumping out from the wall of grain. The little boy dove in the arms of the tall man with mirth written all over his face.

He was a small human boy, with candid white hair, that looked fluffy and soft, a very inviting treat for the ladies and glimmering ruby red eyes. Truly a rabbit lookalike. His face was small and cute, adorned with a blinding smile that never faltered.

"Hahaha, there you are Bell, sneaking around in the grain fields. But that won't work anymore little Bell. It seems like you grown taller, I can see your white hair moving around over the top of the grain now."

The little bunny known as Bell looked at him with a pout but it quickly turned into a smile.

"Ehehe, I'm going to grow tall and strong just as you said grampa."

"Yes you are Bell. Now, it's late, how about we head back and eat dinner."

"Yay!"

The man then grabbed Bell and lift him up in his arms. The rabbit sat on the man's arms with his own arms wrapped around his Grandpa's neck. The man slowly followed the road back to its home, the sun had set and the night started enveloping the sky.

As they returned home, the old man went to the kitchen, turning on the stove while Bell went to his room to retrieve a book of his favourite tale, the Argonaut. The man chuckled from the kitchen as he saw the bunny sit down with the ancient tale on his laps.

Thirty minutes later, as Bell's eyes were fixed on the pages, reading the words written on them, his nose started to sniff the air, a tasty smell permeated in the room, drawing his attention to the kitchen. His mouth watered as he could anticipate what was going to happen next.

"It's ready Bell."

The bunny closed the book and ran into the dining room. He sat down at the table but noticed that there were cutlery for three people today, not two like usual. Bell cutely tilted his head to the side as his Grandpa approached the table with three steaming hot plates of stew.

"Why did you prepare three plates. Will you eat them both?"

"Oh, no little Bell, today a friend of mine is coming. I'm sure you'll get along."

Bell noded just as someone nocked on their door.

"Ah, speak of the devil."

The blue eyed man got up and opened the door.

"Haha, Hermes it's good to see you."

"Zeus! It's been too long."

Bell's Granpa, now identified as the King of the Gods Zeus, and his friend, the messenger God Hermes, shared a hug patting each other's backs. Hermes then turned to the little bunny was staring at him with his two rubellite orbs.

"Ah, little Bell-kun, I've heard much about you from Zeus."

The bunny yet again tilted his head to the side as the God talked to him.

"Are you a God like grampa?"

"Yes Bell-kun, I am Hermes, a God as you said. As well as a good friend of your grampa, so just call me Hermes or uncle Hermes, that also works. Forget about being polite Bell-kun, you're my friend from now."

Bell thought for a while but quickly smiled brightly and nodded.

"Ok uncle!"

Hermes chuckled and moved to ruffle his hair.

"Let's eat before it gets cold."

Hermes nodded and sat at the table with Zeus and Bell. They chatted and joked, sometimes trying to stuff some bad ideas into Bell's head, but eventually ending up in failure as the boy simply didn't seem to comprehend. The two Gods sighed in defeat as Bell didn't show any interest in their … umm, let's say less favourable hobbies. This continued until dinner was over.

"Bell, why don't you go up and play, or maybe read a story. Me and Hermes need to talk about some serious topics."

Bell nodded and with a lively skip obediently left the dining room. The smile on the two Gods left their faces as soon as Bell wasn't in the room anymore.

"So Zeus. Is he going to become a hero? The last one of this age? The last member of your Familia? The legendary hero that moved the ages and de-"

"Hermes, I'll be honest. I-I don't want him to become an adventurer."

Hermes looked at Zeus shocked.

"But he's the last hope of Orario, no Gekai."

"Bell is much more than just a child of my Familia, Hermes. He's my nephew, the child that Meteria entrusted to me. An innocent and pure little bunny that we have no right to force him on the brutal path that is that of a hero. A-and, I'm scared, to lose him like I lost all of my Familia. He's all I have left Hermes."

The messenger God didn't reply, he felt ashamed for what happened seven years prior to this day, guilty for not being able to do anything. He couldn't say anything to comfort him, because he didn't understand what Zeus felt, it'd just be meaningless to say, 'I'm sorry for what happened.' He too was a bystander that did nothing but watch that day and felt he had no right to respond or complain.

"I see."

"If he chooses that path, I will not stop him. But if he doesn't I will not allow anyone to force him on that path."

"Very well. Then … moving onto more serious problems that we have at hand. Has the dragon awoken?"

"No. It rests, but it's growing stronger."

"Ouranos wants to meet with you."

"What for?"

"He says he needs to show you something."

"Alright, when do we leave?"

"Tomorrow."

"What?! Hermes, you can't just come the day before and expect me to be ready to leave so suddenly. I also need to ask the chief if he can take care of Bell while I'm gone."

"Oh Zeus, Bell-kun is coming as well."

Zeus looked at Hermes with a look that could kill.

"Hermes-"

"Wait, wait. You said that whether Bell-kun becomes an adventurer or not is up to him. However, you need to give all possibilities a fair chance. Just let him see the city, besides it is actually Ouranos that said he needed to come."

"Ouranos? Bell? What does he want from Bell? How does he even know about him?"

"I actually don't know, he said he just wanted to meet Bell-kun."

Zeus looked at Bell, who merrily reading the tale of the Argonaut, for what had to be the hundredth time. A frown formed on his face as he looked at the innocent smile on the bunny's face. However, he had little choice.

"Fine, I'll bring Bell, but he'll stay at an inn. I'll bring him to Ouranos after and only after I have spoken to him and he has given me a good reason to bring him Bell."

Hermes nodded, it's not like Zeus and Ouranos had a bad relationship with each other. Actually the two were great friends, however, now days Ouranos only had time to spare when it came to matters regarding Orario. That is why Zeus was suspicious of Ouranos' actions.

"Then let's get ready for tomorrow."

"Right. Bell! I know it's sudden but tomorrow we're having a trip."

The bunny snapped his head towards Zeus with stars in his eyes and a bright smile.

"A trip? Where to?"

Zeus chuckled.

"To Orario."

Bell's smile grew and it might have as well outshined a star.

-City Of Orario-

A week after departing from their village, Zeus, Hermes and Bell arrived in Orario. The disguised King of the Gods walked on the busy streets of the city known as the centre of the world. Holding his hand was the tiny beloved bunny. The adorable little boy followed the tall man that was his Grandpa, who hid his face under a cloak. Hermes was on Bell's other side.

"Stick close to me and Hermes, Bell, you wouldn't want to get lost."

"Mmm, okay grampa."

The little boy looked around with amazement in his eyes, after all, as a farmer boy, he had never seen such an outstanding city, populated by all races. The place of his dreams where heroes were born. Bell's only family was his Grandpa, who had lived with him and taken care of him since his birth.

The old God had always spent a lot of time recounting of the tales of old heroes and their deeds. Bell had dreamt nothing more than to become one of those heroes. To now be in the city that his Grandpa talked so much about was far too thrilling for the little bunny.

The three of them arrived at the designated inn shortly after passing through the gate, an inn that Hermes had reserved in advance. As they opened the door Zeus and Hermes smiled. The man behind the counter looked at the door and was surprised.

"What Z- ahem. Hermes you didn't tell me he'd be here!"

He talked in a hushed voice.

"Surprise, surprise."

"Samuel, good to see you too."

Bell looked from his position with a curious look.

"Bell this is an old acquaintance of mine."

The bartender looked down at Bell.

"The name's Samuel, I'm the owner of this inn."

"Samuel, this is Bell. He's Meteria's son."

The eyes of the owner bulged out as he looked down the boy.

"Holy heavens. So you're Meteria's son, huh? He certainly inherited the white hair."

"Take us to our room?"

"Right away boss."

They were guided to their room by Samuel. Hermes told the owner to wait downstairs as Zeus took Bell inside, with Hermes following close behind. As the door behind them closed Zeus removed his cloak. Bell as the child he was, was already jumping on the bouncy mattress of the bed.

"Say grampa, why can I not call you grampa Zeus?"

"Because you remember the promise you made?"

Bell nodded,

"mmm, yes, that I would never use your name in front of others. But why?"

"People can't know that who I am and where I am, especially here in Orario. My identity must be kept a secret. Make sure to never mention my name nor the fact that I'm a God."

"Okay! But did grampa do something bad?"

"No Bell, but sometimes people make mistakes and those mistakes have dire consequences."

"But you're a God?"

This time it was Hermes answering.

"Even Gods aren't perfect Bell-kun. We're selfish and arrogant. Naïve sometimes. Remember Bell-kun, don't always put Gods on pedestals that need to be worshipped and never disrespected or tainted. We're just as human as you, if not less actually. We've grown into stubborn and deceitful beings after thousands of years of boredom. Unless I or Zeus tell you, never trust a God."

"I see. Wait, what does dire mean?"

Zeus chuckled at the question posed by Bell.

"It means serious, Bell."

"Mmm."

"Just stay here, alright Bell-kun? I'll make sure to take you and Zeus to an incredibly tasty restaurant later."

"Mmm."

Bell nodded.

"Good."

Zeus and Hermes left the room closing the door behind him and leaving a lone rabbit in the inn.

"Look after him Sam."

"Don't worry, he won't leave."

Zeus and Hermes left to go and meet the head of the Guild. Meanwhile Bell jumped on the bed, looked around and read books for nearly an hour. Impressive patience for a six years old child but it was getting boring and the excitement he felt for being in Orario wasn't something that could just be stopped by just staying in the inn.

This was the city of his dreams, he wanted to explore it all, to experience it all. Surely Zeus wouldn't mind if he snuck out for a little bit. He'd be back before his Grandpa would notice he was gone. With that in mind, Bell opened the door and silently walked out the main door of the inn.

It's not like he was trying to be sneaky, it's just that he was small and light, so no one noticed the little bunny leaving the building. Everyone was too distraught drinking, laughing and eating to pay attention to the child leaving without an adult to look after him.

Bell's eyes glowed at the sight of the enormous city before him. Being used to a village made it all the more impressive to him. The buildings were tall with multiple floors and clean enough that they sparkled. There were buildings made of bricks, concrete, luxurious wood and white marble. Simply outstanding when compared to the shoddy wooden huts that were used as houses back in his village.

"WHOA!"

Bell spun around in place, taking in all the breath taking sight. Elves, dwarves, werewolves, cat people, weretigers, chienthrope and all the other races all roamed around the streets. Having lived in a village consisting of only humans, this was an incredible sight to the boy, particularly the beast people, he couldn't help but stare at their tails and ears, they seemed so fluffy.

He walked around the streets admiring all the elaborate carvings that were made in some of the more prestigious buildings. He looked around with wide eyes whilst his nose cutely moved as he sniffed the air, filled with the delicious smell of food coming from the stalls that were on the street.

Restaurants, pubs and bars, Bell watched the places overflowing with people emanating an almost irresistible smell. He kept walking around, but started feel a little nervous as he felt everyone watch him. Which wasn't really surprising considering he's a cute and tiny six years old boy with red eyes and white hair that resembled to a fluffy little rabbit.

As amazing as it all looked, apparently this was nothing compared to the Golden Age of the city, or so Hermes said. After the fall of the Familia of his Grandpa, the city fell into chaos. However, it seemed that they were slowly starting to recover from the tragic loss.

Bell proceeded to venture into the city cluelessly. Bell had no apparent sense of danger as he started exploring alleys, isolated and dark areas of Orario. Whilst some parts of the city were recovering most of the Orario was still on its knees after the fall of the two great Familias.

Bell looked around feeling a little down. Compared to the previous main roads, this streets was dirty, damaged and the only people here were a couple of scrawny men slumped against the walls. Unquestioning of the suspicious and dangerous place he entered, Bell kept walking around. As if to punish the bunny for his unsuspecting nature, a couple of dirty thugs approached Bell.

"Are you lost little one?"

Seeing the rough, ugly and smelly pigs, with knives and weapons out, Bell backed away a little.

"Don't be scared."

Luckily Bell was to be saved.

"Hey you! What are you doing?!"

A blue haired girl approached the thugs with a sword in hand. The group all panicked, some started running while some became desperate and tried to attack the girl. Though that was a terrible mistake as they were swiftly taken out. One by one they fell like bowling pins, the knocked out bodies fell to the ground.

"Are you okay?"

The blue haired girl turned to the bunny only that he wasn't there anymore.

"What? Where did he go?"

.

Bell had ran away whilst the girl distracted them and used the loud sound of the busy streets to find his way back to the main avenue where plenty of people were roaming the streets. Bell let out a sigh of relief and started to wander again.

Bell spun around and fixed his eyes on his next target. The tall tower that pierced the heavens. Babel. Bell had heard many stories of the tower and knew that it was the lid placed on the dungeon. His eyes glinted and without anything to stop him, Bell proceeded towards the tower.

The tall tower of Babel was larger than Bell could imagine, his eyes widening as he arrive at the base of the spiral. He stood in place as his head tilted upwards and his eyes tried to search for the peak of the tower. Bell looked around watching the adventurers come in and out of the dungeon, countless people entering the tower to visit the shops before his eyes went to the entrance of the tower.

Nobody noticed or stopped the bunny as he entered the tower and followed the stairs that took him to an empty room. The room was empty and silent. All the sounds he could hear before had been drowned as he followed the stairs.

.

Samuel finished serving another ale to a now completely drunk adventurer. He went back to cleaning mugs and plates before turning to the clock. Nearly two hours had passed since Zeus and Hermes had left the inn.

'Huh, time sure flies.'

He then thought of Bell and smiled.

'Kid should be hungry … and bored.'

"Hey Katherine."

He called out to a young waitress who was going around serving plates of food and mugs of ale to the patrons in the inn. She had an innocent look, with her brown hair and orange eyes. A large smile that made the waitress feel like a gentle and warm woman to any who laid eyes on her. Katherine turned around to face Samuel as she heard his call.

"Go check on Bell."

"Bell?"

"Umm, oh yeah. You saw the child from before, no?"

"Oh! That adorable little bunny!"

"Ye him. Bring him something to eat. And take time off to play with him, he's got to be bored by now."

She smiled brightly at the notion of playing with the little boy. She skipped her way to the counter with a giggle escaping her lips.

"Hehehe, gladly."

She grabbed the plate that Samuel prepared and made started ascending the stairs. She crossed the hallway and approached the door to Bell's room. She knocked enthusiastically with her free hand and waited to hear the adorable sound of Bell's feet moving around, but she received nothing other than silence.

"Bell, I'm a waitress that works here, I've brought you some food."

Katherine waited a little before pushing open the door. She took in the room and the plate in her hand nearly crashed on the ground as it was about to slip from her hand. The room was dark and Bell was nowhere to be seen. The shock caused Katherine to start panicking, she left the plate on a table and ran downstairs.

"What's going on?"

Samuel looked at the waitress with a raised eyebrow as he heard the frantic footwork and saw her desperate look.

"This is terrible Samuel, Bell is gone. He must have left the inn while we weren't looking."

Samuel's calm look soon started to fade as it soon started to pale.

"Oh shit. Alright, you stay here, I'll go and inform Z-I mean the old man right now."

The girl nodded as Samuel wasted no time and slammed the door to the inn open before he started running towards the Guild building.

.

Zeus and Hermes followed a fat pig as he led them through the Pantheon and to the Chamber of Prayers, where Ouranos was always sat at. Royman wouldn't see it but both Zeus and Hermes sneered at the elf from behind, neither of them ever liked the elf, not even Ouranos. However, they had no way to legally kick him out.

The golden double doors that led to Ouranos opened, giving the two Gods access to the large and dark dome like room. At the entrance of the door was a platform with a narrow bridge that led passage to the throne which the primordial God of the sky sat upon. All the rest of the room missed a floor.

Zeus looked down the platform but only saw an endless void beneath. His gaze then went back to the God of the Sky, Ouranos only beginning to speak as the large golden doors behind closed and the fat pig that was Royman left the room.

"Welcome back to Orario old friend."

Zeus who was masking his identity took off the cloak.

"Ouranos, it's been around six years. Though I can't say I like the new Orario."

"That's what happened to Orario after yours and Hera's Familia were banished."

The God sighed.

"Poor Loki and Freya can't handle the situation?"

"No, our power is nothing compared to what it was like with you back then. The people regret their choices."

"Well, they should have thought about that before sending us out."

The elder God hummed in agreement.

"Setting aside the naivety of humans aside."

"Right, I wanted to show you something."

"No, before that. Let's talk about Bell."

Ouranos knew he couldn't avoid it and resigned himself to bear with it.

"Right. I did say that Bell had to come as well."

"Yes, so how did you know about Bell? And why is he needed?"

"I found out about Bell thanks to the child that serves me."

"You started a Familia?"

"No, he's the only member."

Hermes watched from the side lines but stayed silent not daring to interfere or make his existence known.

"The very thing that I wish to show you has something to do with Bell."

A frown grew on Zeus' face, but before any of them could argue or talk they were interrupted by the loud commotion outside the door. Zeus quickly put his cloak back on as the doors were slammed open. Samuel rushed in with guards and Guild members chasing after him. Just as he got to Hermes, the guards caught him.

"Hold it!"

"Wait! Hermes it's about Bell. It's an emergency!"

The primordial God that founded the Guild waved his hand causing everyone to stop and become silent. As Ouranos turned to look at the inn owner, Samuel started to explain why he had barged in like that.

"Hermes, Bell disappeared!"

This alarmed Zeus, Hermes as well as Ouranos.

"When I sent Katherine up to give Bell something to eat, she found the room to be empty. He's nowhere to be found, he probably wandered off into the city."

"What? The city isn't safe at all, particularly for Bell who is just a six years old boy."

Ouranos turned his attention to the guards.

"Find the boy, he must be kept safe."

The guards nodded and moved to mobilise and search the city.

"It seems like we'll continue this conversation later."

The cloaked God nodded and rushed out followed by Hermes and Samuel.

"Sorry Zeus, I should have been more careful."

"Don't worry Sam, Bell always had a tendency to wander off and has an excellent aptitude to sneak around without anyone noticing. Scary part is that he doesn't even try, he somehow just manages to casually move unnoticed."

.
Bell walked down the staircase, carefully looking at his feet as they cutely landed on each step with a pit pat sound. He slowly descended deeper and deeper, Bell looked at the endless stairs with an adorable pout as he was starting to get tired of the stairs.

Luckily for him, he soon arrived at the bottom, where the scenery drastically changed from the white stone steps and the smooth walls that he had found in the tower of Babel. Bell kept walking forwards and proceeded deeper into the cave like structure.

'Babel is really weird.'

Bell thought to himself as he looked around at the crooked dark blue walls and ceiling made of stone that formed the cave. It was dimly lit by the blue crystals stuck in the walls, making it rather eerie. No people were around, no shops of any kind seemed to be present and it was really quiet other than the sound of Bell's feet making contact with the ground. That's when he stopped and looked forward with expressionless face.

'Oh.'

Bell wasn't the brightest kid to have existed but he was fairly clever and by now he had gone in far enough to realize where he was now.

'This isn't Babel, this is the dungeon.'

Bell wasn't paying attention when he entered the tower and instead of heading up he had headed down. Right now Bell didn't know whether to feel excited about being in the dungeon that he heard so many stories about, where he hoped to start his own adventures or to be scared. Scared, but not about being in the dungeon as a six years old child with no weapons or armour, no, but about being scolded by his Grandpa.

Weirdly enough though, Bell still hadn't ran into any adventurers or monsters. Though he could be counted lucky as a monster would have meant the end of his short adventure. Bell thought about it with a cute pose for a short while and came to a conclusion.

'Let's head in deeper!'

Sometimes his excitement and sense of adventure tended to overwrite any sense of danger or the warning issued by the God that is his Guardian. Bell happily skipped forward with a smile, he was sure that if he ran into adventurers then they would certainly bring him back so he decided to enjoy this for as long as he could. However, it didn't seem like he had thought about the other entities living in the dungeon until it was too late.

'Oh wait, what do I do if I run into monsters?'

As if fate decided to answer his question, Bell suddenly heard the growling of a monster. No human, elf, dwarf of beast person could make such a terrifying sound. The bunny dove into cover as he heard it. As much as he was a fool, brave and excited, he knew that it wasn't the time to be facing monsters yet, so he decided to avoid the monster. Not that it would work as he wasn't used to the dungeon, mistaking the direction of the sound to be in front of him while it was behind him.

As he dove into cover and now faced the way he came from, he realised his mistake, his ruby eyes looking into the dark blood red eyes of the monster that growled at him. Bell yelped before he started to run, as fear seeped into his heart. The monster seemed confused for a moment before it started to give chase.

.

Zeus and Hermes stood at the entrance of the dungeon, as a group of Ganesha Familia members assembled behind them. Normally Gods wouldn't be allowed to enter the dungeon but Bell's importance to Ouranos' plan was highlighted when he allowed both Hermes and Zeus to go search for Bell within the depths of the dungeon, using their arcanum to probe the dungeon.

"We're ready, but … Hermes-sama, will you be coming with us?"

A blue haired girl walked up to the two Gods and spoke up.

"Good and yes dear Shakti, I'll be accompanying you in the dungeon, I got Ouranos' permission."

"Is it necessary, we'll quickly find the child and bring him back."

"I'm sure you understood his importance to Ouranos to allow me to enter the dungeon and even use my arcanum to quickly locate him."

Shakti nodded as a younger girl that mirrored her appearance came up. The difference was in the shade of her blue hair and the height. It was thanks to her that they had decided to come to the dungeon in order to search for Bell.

"You're sure Ardee?"

"I am. I saved the kid just an hour ago. I wanted to ask him if he was okay but he vanished, all I saw was a mop of white hair going towards Babel."

Hermes nodded and followed by the adventurers of the Ganesha Familia, they proceeded into the dungeon. Arriving on the first floor, they started scanning the entire level, saving quite a bit of time through the suppressed use of the arcanum of Hermes and Zeus.

Normally, this would have been a problem as the dungeon was sensitive to arcanum but Zeus, being the King of the Gods was an expert in the use of his arcanum, while Hermes wasn't an old God like Zeus, he was one of the major ones and very good at acting without arousing the suspicion of others, including the dungeon.

Still the first floor wasn't small at all and it would take an hour, two at most to completely search the whole floor and it only got worse the deeper they went. As one went deeper into the abyss that was the dungeon, the floors only got larger and larger, easily becoming larger than Orario itself. Besides that, the paths became more intricate and complex, requiring more attention and time to be explored.

.

Bell kept running, panting heavily as the monster was close behind. As the chase continued, more monsters had joined the original lone kobold in chasing down the little white haired boy. Bell looked back at the horde chasing him with tears in his eyes. Was it wrong to be scared of the monsters in the dungeon?

Bell had run and run, but he was a child, he was slow and his stamina very limited compared to an adult, particularly a blessed adult. Honestly, it was nothing short of a miracle that the monsters hadn't already tore the little bunny apart.

Despite the countless corners he turned, the rooms he visited and the tunnels he passed through, he still hadn't encountered any adventurer and by now, Bell had now gathered a column of monsters large enough to be considered a pass parade.

Bell gasped in shock as a small pebble that was in the way, caught the bunny's little foot, causing him to trip and slam his face down to the ground. The boy turned around and watched as a monster raised its claw ready to send him to meet the mother he never had.

He closed his eyes, but when he should have felt pain or coldness, he felt nothing. He opened his eyes and watched the spot where the claw was before, where it wasn't anymore. It laid in a bloody puddle. So did the other monsters. Dead, killed by slashes and punctures throughout the body. A cemetery of monster corpses.

Amidst the scene of the carnage, a couple cyan and cream coloured feathers slowly fell like snow during winter. Bell looked around and focused on the one body that stood at the centre. It was humanoid but unlike anything he had seen before, it wasn't amongst the monsters chasing him.

The back was turned to him, he could only see the pristine clear skin, the furred body, with blue feathers wrapping around her hips like a skirt, the wings instead of the arms. The figure turned around capturing Bell's attention. A cute girl, with beautiful blue eyes, an unusual hairstyle like any he knew of. Cream coloured hair that ended with cyan tips.

A monster? A human? Maybe neither of them. Regardless of what she was and her inhuman features, she was beautiful in the little boy's eyes. A heroic being, straight out of the fairy tales, who came to save the damsel in distress. He watched with sparkling eyes as she turned to him and watched him curiously and warily but slowly approached him and extended her wing to him.

"Are you okay?"
