Hey everyone sorry for being late. I have no excuses, simply forgot to upload this chapter after it was done. Now we will diverge a little from the original stories and as all stories I've written I will add features that are not canon.
As I've already said to the person who requested this story, I have come up with two new ideas for stories. Is it a good idea to start new stories despite having how many ongoing? No, probably not. But it wouldn't delay the other stories since I write which ever story I've got a clear idea to jot down. For those who are curiouos then look forwards to them. One is based on Bell being a renard and the other on Bell being a dragon. Not a dragonoid but an actual dragon. It may be confusing but I won't reveal too much since I'd be spoiling.
If you are curious, then PM me.
I will say now that the renard one will be a series while the dragon one is a very long one shot based on an anime.
The renard one will (probably) be a harem route and he joins the Takemikazuchi Familia for obvious reasons.
The dragon one there will be no pairing or Familia joined. You will see why and how that works.
Other than that I have nothing to say other than enjoy the story.
Chapter 2 – The Xenos
"Are you okay?"
Bell looked with admiration at the being before him. Not a human, but not a monster either. A human body, with beautiful feathered wings of cyan, blue and beige colour as well as long bird legs. Her hair too was made out of feathers and circled around her cute face. She didn't look to be much taller than him but her strength was obvious by the way she killed the monster that was meant to kill him.
"Yea, I'm fine."
Normally a child would be traumatized by the event Bell had just gone through, but Bell wasn't just any child. Normally a person would be terrified by the being before him, but Bell wasn't just anyone. With a big, warm smile he nodded to his saviour.
"Thank you for saving me. I'm Bell by the way."
"I-I'm Ray."
The girl had long been told not to interact with humans because they were dangerous beings. But she had long been curious about the surface dwellers. Plus, the cute bundle of white hair and red eyes made it impossible for Bell to appear to be dangerous. Small and defenceless she couldn't bring herself to simply leave the cute little bunny here alone.
"It's nice to meet you Ray."
"It's nice to meet you too Bell."
Bell's trusting nature made him naïve, disregarding the danger he was in, he prioritized befriending the person next to him as was in Bell's pure nature. There was also the fact that Bell, having lived his life in a small village, had never seen the various races that existed on Gekai, only having lived with a God and the humans of the village. He had no idea that she was no known race of Gekai, but a being born from the dungeon.
"What are you doing in the dungeon?"
"I live here."
"Live here? Isn't the dungeon a dangerous place?"
"Right. And what is a child like you doing here?"
"Hey! You don't seem any older than I am!"
"I'm eight."
Bell grumbled a little before quietly speaking.
"I'm six."
"Exactly I'm older. And I'm much stronger than you are."
Bell pouted at her with his adorable little mouth.
"Hehehe, you're so cute."
"Stop teasing me."
Bell then started shivering as his light clothing and small body was not meant for the cold dungeon. The little rabbit looked at Ray when he felt the warmth of Ray's feathered wing envelope him. The girl blushed a little at the thought being so close to him and to wrap him with her wing but she couldn't let him tremble like that when she could help him. Not that she would do it with anyone else, she just felt a strange attachment to the child.
"Thank you."
Bell beamed a bright smile before wrapping his own small arms around her waist. The action nearly made the girl squeak but she didn't mind his actions. The two then proceeded to spend their time together chatting. Ray told him about the Xenos and explained who they were. Bell on the other hand, told Ray about the surface world and answered every question that the girl, now identified as a siren, had.
"How is the sky?"
"It depends. At night it's normally pitch black but depending on where in the city you are, you can see a beautiful dark blue or purple sky filled with millions of stars."
Ray's eyes were glued on Bell as her mind pictured the scenes that Bell told her about.
"When the sun rises the sky turns orange while it's a clear azure during the day. The only time it's not pretty is when it rains."
"Why is that?"
"Because the clouds turn grey instead of white and they make the sky look sad."
And so their conversation continued as the two learnt more about the two different worlds they each lived in. Not only that, but they also recounted their experience so far, telling each other the funny stories they had as well as the embarrassing moments they had. They were moments that they would take to the grave but weirdly, they felt comfortable enough to share it with one another.
"Hahaha!"
"Don't laugh Bell. That was not funny. It was traumatizing!"
"How could you think that a rabbit in the dungeon would be just a regular bunny?"
The siren pouted.
"I didn't know that the almiraj was a monster. I thought that since we were close to the surface it had wondered down the dungeon."
"Hahaha!"
Bell kept laughing which made Ray pout harder.
"What are you laughing about. You look like one as well. I bet that if we were to put you side by side one wouldn't be able to tell the difference."
The roles were now reversed as the girl began laughing while the white haired boy started pouting at the bird sat next to him, who still held him in her embrace.
"Meanie."
"You too Bell."
Hours had went by since the two met and someone searching for Bell had finally arrived on the floor. The two staring each other in the eye were snapped out of their trance when a shout interrupted them.
"BELL!"
The bunny's head snapped to the origin of the sound with a smile as he recognized the voice of his grampa. Ray on the other hand was afraid, she knew that she had took a gamble with Bell and it was a miracle that he befriended her. She knew that others wouldn't share Bell's idea and feared of what might happen.
"Come with me Ray. I'll introduce you to my grampa."
"No."
The bunny turned to Ray with a sad look but soon remembered why she was afraid of people.
"I can't Bell. It's too dangerous."
"Then I can stay here."
"No Bell. It's too dangerous for you. Please, you need to go back."
The siren brought Bell's head into her bosom, not that she had any, and embraced the little bunny.
"Thank you Bell. It was a lot of fun to spend time with you."
"Mm."
He gave her a hug before turning around and making his way towards his grampa.
"Wait Bell. Take this."
The bunny turned around and watched as Ray, using her claws grabbed a large and fluffy feather from her wing before taking it off. He extended his hand and received the feather before looking at the blue haired girl with a smile.
"When I get stronger I'll come back here and become your hero!"
Hearing that made Ray smile brightly as a blush crept on her face. It would be a day she would look forwards to. To be able to call Bell her hero and spend the days together having fun like they did today. To that end goal, she needed to be able to go to the surface like the other Xenos wanted, though they all had different reasons. For that scope, she too needed to become stronger.
"It's a promise Bell."
With a nod the rabbit dashed off, away from the siren who watched him. Still somewhat unsure that he'd be safe, she silently and covertly followed him. From a safe distance she watched as a group of adventurer surrounded Bell in a defensive formation while a white haired man hugged the boy.
"Good."
With a smile, the siren turned away and flew deeper into the dungeon. Her heart yearned for the day she and Bell would be reunited but until that day she would wait patiently for her hero to come for her and rescue her from the dungeon.
.
"Bell! There you are! Why are you in the dungeon? How are you even alive and this deep in the dungeon?"
"I was just wondering around. Oh! Hi uncle Hermes. Oh even the pretty blue haired lady is here. Hi!"
Ardee and Hermes waved back at Bell as he named them. Zeus though face palmed. No one knew what to think of Bell's demeanour despite being in the dungeon. Shakti and the guards were shocked, Ardee and Hermes were worried while Zeus just sighed and gave up on telling Bell off. It wouldn't do any good anyways.
"Just don't run off on your own again. And do not enter the dungeon, okay? Hmm?"
Zeus' eyes were then drawn to the feather that was in Bell's hand. He'd ask about it later, he wasn't going to bring it to his attention in front of everyone.
"Let's go back now."
With a nod from the rabbit, the group back tracked it's way to the surface.
.
Bell now stood with Hermes and Zeus before Ouranos in his large underground room. The primordial God looked at Bell and called him forwards. Zeus in the back kept staring at Ouranos with scrutiny unsure of what he wanted to do with Bell.
"Welcome Bell Cranel. I'm Ouranos a God like your grandfather there and the head of the Guild in Orario."
"Hi!"
Bell energetically waved his hand, which made Hermes chuckle as he never saw someone be so lively and energetic towards Ouranos.
"The reason I have called you here is because it will be your job and yours alone to slay the One-Eyed Black Dragon in the future."
It was a shock to both Gods standing in the back when Ouranos dropped that bombshell of a news. And it was to no one's but Bell's surprise that Zeus instantly grew enraged by this. He immediately rushed forwards and stood in front of Bell as he glared with a terrifying gaze at Ouranos.
"Have you gone mad?! Absolutely not!"
"I thought you still hadn't given up on giving birth to a hero."
"I have. I gave up on the idea of a hero. And if it is my duty to guide one then so be it. But I will not allow anyone to force Bell on this path. It is absolute madness to fight against that thing. Honestly, I don't want Bell to become an adventurer in the first place."
His face darkened as the memories of his lively Familia filled the old God with sadness.
"I know this is unfair. But he is the last hope. However, you're right. We swore to not intervene too much in the matters of Gekai so I can't ask him to do this. At the same time, you should give the path of a hero a fair chance to be chosen by Bell. He alone can wield the weapon that can slay the monster."
Zeus' head shot up as he heard Ouranos speak.
"What do you mean?"
"The reason that Albert was able to injure the dragon was because he wielded a weapon of the Gods. Like Epimetheus wielded the divine weapon granted to him by Prometheus, Albert too used a weapon of the Gods.
The Argonaut of legends too used legendary weapons, but should he have fought against the Black Dragon, then he would have lost. Not because he was weaker, as a matter of fact, I believe the Argonaut used to be much stronger than both Albert and the Black Dragon. But the reason is because his weapons were given to him by spirits and only a Godly weapon forged in the heavens would be able to harm the Black Dragon."
"If it is a Godly weapon then the God whose Familia will hunt it can bestow them their Godly weapon to fight against the Black Dragon."
Ouranos saw the desperation in Zeus' eyes and sighed.
"If it was that simple then I wouldn't have asked for Bell."
"What do you mean?"
"Obviously such a weapon is known to be able to kill even Gods. Permanently. As such the Gods won't give it so easily. Most of us are selfish and arrogant. If a mortal wielded a Godly weapon, many Gods would panic. That however, is not the biggest problem."
"If that isn't the problem what is?"
"You see, there are Gods who wouldn't mind doing that, such as Ganesha, Astraea, Loki or even Freya. The problem resides in the fact that only a few weapons will work on the Black Dragon."
The God's eyes narrowed before asking the question that even Hermes was dying to know.
"Only the Godly weapon of a God of purity will work on the Black Dragon."
Zeus then looked at the primordial God with a confused look.
"You said Astraea wouldn't mind. She is a Goddess of purity, no?"
"Yes, but as happy as she is to give her Godly weapon to her Familia members to slay the Black Dragon, none of her Familia members can wield it, for they are not pure enough."
"And you believe that Bell on the other hand, is able to wield such weapon."
The old God sat on his throne nodded.
"Even so, now is not the time to make him decide. In the future, when he is old enough to make his decision, he will come here to slay the Black Dragon. But only if he desires to become a hero."
Ouranos watched Zeus but it was clear as day that he wouldn't back off and had no choice but to accept the terms established by the King of the Gods.
"Umm, Ouranos-sama? Did you know about the Xenos? Grampa never told me about them when talking about the dungeon."
Bell who had been silent since Zeus rushed in front of him suddenly spoke to the primordial God. The question though made Ouranos' and Hermes' eyes bulge out as they were shocked that their secret operation had been found out by a six years old child.
"B-Bell? How did you know about that?"
Hermes slowly made his way to Bell as Zeus turned around with a questioning look. He had never seen Hermes and Ouranos be so distraught.
"Xenos? What are they?"
Hermes looked at Zeus but said nothing, not knowing whether or not he should mention them to his old friend. Ouranos however, was focused only on the white haired bunny as the nature of this concept was believed to be strictly secret.
"Young Bell, please tell me how you know of them."
"A kind siren told me she was a Xenos and gave me this after she saved me from a monster."
Bell then raised the colourful feather so that the three Gods could see it.
"And you weren't afraid of her?"
"Of course not. She saved me and was very kind to me. Her feathers were very soft."
"Her feathers were soft?"
Hermes looked at him perplexed.
"Yea, It was very cold down there so she gave me a hug to keep me warm and her feathers were really soft."
Zeus and Hermes for once didn't act like perverts as they were too confused about the whole situation. Meanwhile, Ouranos was surprised by both the fact that a Xenos had saved and acted friendly with Bell as well as the fact that Bell didn't seem to mind them. This made the head of the Guild all the more interested in Bell as he now saw him as a key piece to his plan to help the Xenos.
"Do you remember who it was that saved you?"
"Yes, it was a siren named Ray."
"I'll have to thank her later. For now remember that you can't mention this to anyone. This is to be kept secret at all costs, Bell."
"I know. I made a promise to Ray and grampa always said to never brake promises."
Zeus who stood in front of Bell smiled gently as he heard Bell speak. He wasn't sure what to think about talking monsters but he was grateful that they had saved Bell.
"I see. But I still wish you to make a vow and promise me you won't tell anyone."
"You want to swear a child to secrecy?"
"This is incredibly important Zeus. More than you imagine."
The God scratched his head but decided not to ask anymore about this matter instead wanting to leave as soon as possible to digest everything he had learnt today.
"Very well. That is all. You may leave."
"Bye bye Ouranos!"
Bell as usual waved energetically at the God sat on his throne before leaving with Zeus and Hermes.
"What a unique child."
Ouranos spoke to himself as he let a small smile escape. Something that he hadn't done in many millennia.
.
"I had no idea about this Zeus. I'm sorry."
The God of thunder shook his head and placed a hand on Hermes' shoulder.
"It's not your fault Hermes. Don't worry about it, but me and Bell will leave tomorrow. It's best for Bell to leave as soon as possible."
"I get it. Umm, speaking of which, where is Bell?"
The two turned around but found no rabbits following them.
"Oh for the love of the heavens, where did he go now?"
The two Gods then began searching the area with Hermes calling upon his Asfi who had been walking by. It was to her surprise to learn that he was asking for her help, but not to do something of dumb as he usually would, but instead, to find a child. Seeing the different side, she didn't hesitate to help the two Gods find Bell.
.
Bell was exploring the streets filled with people and shops, again too taken by the wonders of the city, he had walked off on his own. His little nose sniffed the air and the scent that he picked up from the many food stalls caused Bell to forget about his poor grampa who was now searching for him. Again.
With a bright smile and eyes filled with excitement, the tiny bunny walked down the large road, looking for anything of interesting to eat. Luckily he had a little money which Sam had given to him earlier before he dashed into the dungeon.
He approached a stand which was making crispy gold looking nuggets. The delicious scent was enough to make the little bunny drool. Pulling out a handful of valis, the little white haired boy waved at the girl running the stand.
"Hello there little fella."
"Hello miss. Can I get one with this?"
Bell showed her the valis in his hand which she quickly counter. Though he was ten valis short, the girl didn't mind and made a little exception for him as she smiled and nodded.
"Yes this is enough."
'Oh Gods he is adorable.'
The girl squealed as she ruffled the little bunny's incredibly soft hair.
"Ehehe!"
'He is too cute!'
She handed over the snack to the little bunny who began nibbling on it. The sight of it was too cute for the girl working at the stand and made her giggle.
"Thank you miss!"
The girl pouted as he suddenly turned and immediately began running off.
"He could have stayed a little longer."
Bell meanwhile kept nibbling on his potato flavoured snack as he ran forwards, wanting to see more of the city. In his excited state he didn't notice a small blonde girl standing in front of him, who he crashed into and as a result was knocked off his feet.
"Hmm?"
The rabbit looked up, to the girl who looked a little older than him, with his potato snack still stuffed in his mouth.
"Hewwo thwere."
"Hmm, hello there."
Bell was helped up by the girl who was strangely strong for her age before he used his hand to take the potato puff out of his mouth to speak properly.
"My name is Bell."
"I'm Ais."
The girl looked at the potato puff in his mouth with a glint in her eyes.
"You like them too?"
Bell looked in the direction of her eyes and nodded.
"Yes. It's really good."
A small smile appeared on the girl's otherwise stoic face.
"I have a few … do you … want to eat together?"
The boy blinked before nodding with a bright smile which made the little girl return a slightly bigger smile of her own.
"Sure."
The two children then walked together to a park where they sat down and began nibbling on a potato puff each. The park that would normally be full of people was mostly empty due to the Dark Age that had befell Orario due to Evilus' acts of terror.
"Here."
The blonde girl, who he now noticed was wearing armour and a sword at her hip, handed him another 'jagamarukun,' or so it was called. Too difficult a name noticed Bell, but he called it so nonetheless and with a happy smile he grabbed it.
"Ais!"
A loud gruff voice called out to the blonde haired girl, whose head whipped around with a frown.
"There you are Ais."
A large dwarf accompanied by a jade haired elf had just arrived without them noticing. Bell looked at the two with fascination but were surprised when he turned to Ais and saw her grumbling.
"Young lady, what did I say about running off on your o- and who are you?"
The high elf's angry face turned curious as she spotted the cute little rabbit looking boy. Her eyes then trailed to the jagamarukuns and her expression soon changed to bewilderment.
'Ais is sharing her favourite snack with someone else?! What is going on with her?'
"I don't care what you have to say about me. You're not my mother and you're not going to get in my way!"
Bell was startled by the blonde girl's sudden outburst, who then noticed Bell's scared look. The little girl had really enjoyed Bell's company and immediately regretted shouting, not wanting to lose the only friend which she had been able to make since arriving in Orario.
"I'm sorry Bell. I didn't mean to shout."
Riveria and Gareth looked astonished as for the first time in their life they had seen the stubborn girl care about someone else. Not only that she apologized to him without hesitating. Ever since arriving the little girl had done nothing but pursue her goal, never caring about anyone or anything. To see her act like this allowed the two to finally have a ray of hope shining through.
"Say kid, who are you? And where are your parents? It's not safe to stay outside right now."
Bell was currently dealing with a sad Ais when the dwarf spoke. Having him mention family reminded Bell that Zeus wasn't around anymore. Looking around Bell's smile faltered before he turned back to Gareth with a sad look.
"I lost them."
It was almost comical how quickly Bell's emotions changed and he finally realized his mistake. Gareth then patted his head to reassure the boy.
"Don't worry kid. We can help you."
"I have to hurry. I already worried him by accidentally running into the dungeon before."
That caused Ais to trip.
"You're also an adventurer?"
Her excitement died down when he shook his head.
"What floor did you go down to?"
"Hermes did mention that it was incredible that I had managed to reach sixth floor."
The God's name made the two adults exchange a worried look before returning their looks to Bell.
"How long have you had a falna for?"
The white haired boy tilted his head before responding.
"I don't have a falna."
"What?! You ran into the dungeon without a falna?!"
"I did not mean to. I was just exploring the city."
The jade haired elf held her head, feeling a headache strong enough to knock her out arrive.
"Alright you're coming with me."
The elf then grabbed Bell's hand, much to everyone's surprise.
"I can go by myself. I don't want to trouble you."
"After what you just told me? Absolutely not. Besides, with Evilus running rampant I can't in my good conscience leave you alone. I will let go once we find your parents and we know that you are safe."
The little rabbit pouted but gave up on arguing back with the elf who was not going to give in. Almost as if on cue, an explosion went off, startling everyone in the area. Adventurer or not.
"Ais get the kid out of here. Let's go Riveria."
"I can fight!"
Ais unsheathed her sword and turned to look at the dwarf.
"No Ais. Gareth is right. This is not a battle you should be fighting."
"But-"
"Think about Bell. He doesn't have a falna. What if he is in danger? We're entrusting you with his safety."
That got the little girl to immediately stop arguing back. Her blonde head whipped around to look at Bell to see his scared look. The look of terror made Ais hesitate before her look turned to one of pure determination.
"Okay. I'll keep Bell safe."
Ais may have just met Bell but he was the first friend she had made since waking up in an unknown world and she would do whatever she could to protect him. To not let his pure and innocent soul be tainted by pain and hatred like hers was. She didn't wish that for anyone. Except maybe the people who were attacking the city. She really didn't like those guys.
Nor did she like the pigeons that kept stealing her jagamarukuns. She really hated those, but she wouldn't wish for them to suffer. She knew they were acting on instinct and she didn't blame them. But that didn't mean that the stupid birds could simply be forgiven for the crime of stealing her favourite jagamarukuns.
With a last look at Gareth and Riveria who were shouting orders and fighting off the countless members clad in white robes, Ais grabbed Bell's hand and dragged him away. Bell didn't know what was going on nor did he know what to do. He only knew that he could and would trust Ais with his life and followed her as she lead the way.
.
The blonde girl unsheathed her blade as she led Bell towards the inn Bell had told her about. If she was lucky then she would be able to find Bell's parents and leave him with them. She didn't want to be left out of the fight. She had to get stronger after all. But at the same time she would never allow her first friend to be put in danger because of her own selfishness.
Right and left, Ais turned from street to street. All of which were filled with armed adventurers and fleeing people. Innocent civilians scrambled to find cover shouting and screaming while the adventurers fought back the group of monsters and Evilus members with fierce swings of their weapons.
In just a few moments the city had turned into a battlefield and nowhere in sight was a safe place. Worried that Bell might get hurt she brought him closer to her as she continued leading him towards the intended pub.
"Hey there!"
Ais' eyes glanced to the right to see a man cloaked in white robes about to swing a large war hammer right at them. In a split second decision, Ais let go of Bell's hand and pushed him back before raising her rapier to tank the hit.
Unfortunately for her, despite most members of Evilus being ordinary unblessed people, she stumbled upon one of the few among their ranks that had a falna. Not only that, but he was a level two and the strength of the blow wasn't something she could block, resulting in her getting sent flying away.
"Ais!"
"Hehe, stay there boy. I'll deal with you once I'm finished killing her."
With the that the man began closing in on Ais who was on the ground and couldn't lift herself to fight back. Bell watched powerlessly as his friend was about to be killed by the hammer that was now raised above the man's head.
"Bell!"
In a last stroke of luck, Zeus and his entourage that now comprised of not only Hermes and his Familia but also a large amount of Ganesha and Astraea Familia members arrived in the nick of time. Amongst them were also Shakti and Ardee who saw the little blonde girl of the Loki Familia about to be crushed. Unluckily, none of the members there would be able to cover the distance in time to save Ais, even the high level fours. Seeing as there was no other choice Hermes and Zeus decided to take a gamble.
"Take this!"
Zeus quickly grabbed Astraea's wrist, much to her surprise, and made her toss the sword in her hand towards Bell. The sword had handguard made by a pair of white angelic wings with gold outlines and details that looped around the hilt and went from the handguard down to the pommel of the sword. The double bladed sword was a hundred twenty celches long and had glinting razor sharp edges.
The pretty looking sword spun around in the air and landed just before Bell with its blade penetrating into the ground. The Goddess of justice turned around to look at Zeus with a bewildered look not knowing of Ouranos' conversation with Bell and Zeus.
"Zeus!"
She whispered the name knowing that she couldn't give away his identity.
"What are you doing? That child can't lift the sword. None of mine or Ganesha's or Loki's can."
"Trust us Astraea. Just watch."
Hermes had interrupted the Goddess from continuing her rant, causing her eyes to turn to Bell and hope that he could truly save the little girl. She hoped knowing that no one other than him could, but worried as no one before, other than herself, had been able to move the sword.
Bell on his side looked at the sword and hesitated for a second. If he grabbed the sword and wished to save Ais he'd have to hurt the man. Bell was a kind and innocent soul and he did not wish to harm another's being's life.
However, when thinking that Ais would be killed it, the decision was instantaneous. Without knowing it, Bell had already chosen the path of a hero. He could not allow someone he cared to be hurt when he could help them. When he could save them. He had promised Ray. He promised he'd become a hero and as his grampa taught him, a promise is not to be broken. And there was no better time to begin taking this path than now.
With his desire set in stone, Bell grabbed the hilt of the sword. To the surprise of everyone other than Zeus and Hermes, the bunny lifted the sword and turned to look at the man with the hammer. Despite the appearances the sword was extremely light, but heavy for the six years old bunny. Without having trained Bell knew not how to swing so he did all he could. Follow one's instincts.
With a sloppy and random swing, Bell luckily hit the intended target. The blade was swung in a circular motion by Bell, which cut across the back of the robed man's thighs. With a pained scream, the man dropped the hammer to his side before staggering and turning around to see the child with a sword in his hand.
"You damn brat!"
The man made to grab Bell, but never managed as Ardee and a red haired girl with bright green eyes punched the man in the face.
"Don't you touch Bell."
Ardee crouched and patted the bunny on his head.
"Good job Bell. You managed to save your friend there."
Bell's eyes filled with tears and he dropped the sword before running into Ardee with a tender embrace. The blue haired girl giggled and enjoyed the hug given to her by the fluffy haired bunny. The red haired girl pouted at the scene before going to offer her help to the blonde girl.
"Are you hurt Ais?"
"No. I'm fine Alise. T-t-thank you … for saving me."
Ais shyly thanked the red haired girl who shook her head.
"Thank Bell. He's the one who saved you."
"He did?"
With a glint in her eyes she looked at Alise who nodded.
"Yup."
"Bell! Oh heavens you truly made me proud!"
The white haired old man rushed towards the boy and hugged him as Ardee got out of the way.
"No more running off on your own okay?"
"Y-yes."
"You little naughty rabbit. But you made me proud nonetheless."
"Really?"
"Yup. Now let's head back to the pub, with no more detours okay?"
"Yes grampa!"
Bell's mood quickly changed as he jumped into Zeus' arms. While the reunion was ongoing the Goddess of justice, who still had wide eyes at seeing the little boy's feat, approached the blonde God.
"Hermes. Is he this Age's final hero? This city and Ouranos' final hope?"
"Yes. He is Astraea."
~To Be Continued
So, quick thing I'd like to say is about the relationship in this story. As the name says, this will be strictly RayxBell. Many characters get attached to Bell, particularly Ardee and Alise.
Ais is introduced in this one and yes she will eventually fall in love with Bell. But like in other fanfictions ais will be rejected. And this also explores a little Ais' mind and her emotional turmoils etc. throughout the story. Obviously, Ais will be very confused and emotional about being rejected and of course there will be a huge fall out when she discovers why and who Bell loves. How could she accept being rejected and for a monster at that? That will come in the future. I will be repairing their relationship and ending with a brotherly relationship.
Well that is all, as always if you have questions comment or PM. Other than that I hope you enjoyed and see you next time!
:)
