Hello and welcome back to the next chapter of Tales of Tamers Xilla! Today begins the volume 3 arc of the stroy. Some major shit is going down in this arc. Now let kick off the Vytal festital folks! Recap

Last time on Tales of Tamers Xilla: The gang were recovering from the events of the Breach as they were curious about how the Girl Rina appears and how Nora became a Tamer. Hiro group explains it started wwhen they head to the town of Phoenix bluff to take care a group of Grimm. They heard from the mayor that a pink bird like ceature was spotted in the woods out side of town. They look into it to discover it was Biyomon who have bonded wwith Nora quite quickly. Soon after they encounter a rift where Rina and her Digimon Veemon appear. They came to Remnant with the help of Mirei to hunt down a Digimon name Grimmon who stole Veemon power. After clearing out the Grimm they return to town to rest. The next morning, they were readying to return to Beacon when the town came under attack by an Airdramon. He mock Biyomon as Nora came to the bird aid. This allow them to became partners as Biyomon Digivolve to Birdramon and defeated Airdramon. But their troubles were only starting as they learn that Grimm have invaded town.

With the help of their new teammate they head to Vale to help their friends. Back in the present Rina ask Rika if she could make her a weapon as everyone gear up for the start of the Vytal festival.

Chapter 20

The festival begins

Takato PoV: It been a week since the Breach, the Damage to the city was fix by Prof Goodwitch. We still have no leads on the Evils that been behind everything since Mountain Glenn, but I'm sure something will turn up. But that not what important right now, the time has come for the Vytal festival to begins. I was surrprise to find out it held in a freaking floating arena. It certainly put the sky arena in Xian Du to shame. This is our chance to show the world what the people of Spyros can do. Now from what I read about the festital is that the touranment is split into 3 rounds. Teams, doubles and singles. Quite the way to do this. Either way were here to win this thing. Right now, everyone is watching Team Ruby face off with Team Abrn from Haven. "Go Ruby!" Palmon shout cheering for her partner. Theam Rwby Digimon are with us since the Digimon would give us an unfair advange to the others teams.

"Show some more class you dolt." Fanbeemon said. as she watches the match. If you can call it that. "I feel bad form the other team." Elize said. "How come?" I ask as I ate some popcorn. "Because they have to deal with that ape Yang going on a rampage." Teepo said. We all gave a smirk. "They do bring up a good point." Ryo said as we saw Yang knock a member of Abrn out of the way. "By my numbers Team Abrn only have a 20% chance of victory." Erika said. "And a 80% chance of getting their asses own." Jerico said with a grin. We soon saw Yang was thrown at the rest of Abrn and gave them a high-power punch to their other teammate as Weiss froze them all in a giant ice ball and sent them out of the ring. "It over everyone, the winners are Team Rwby of Beacon." Port said from the MC booth. We got up from our seats and made our way out of the stands. There we met up with Team Rwby. "Hell of a fight girls." Rika said as she fist bumb with Yang. "Please that was easy sis." Yang said. "It was only the first round." Blake said. "True, there a lot of stiff opponent left out there like Team Cfvy." Koga said.

"Not to mention Cinder team from what we saw of their match." Kenji said worry. He got a point, their match was a brutal one. "Speaking of tough teams, I surprise that Tker and Jakr are going at it in the next match." Nora said. "It is a tournament were bound to face each other at some point." Rika said. "Indeed, but which team shall be victorious?" Alice ask. I turn to look at Ryo. "No clue, we never did settle our match back in Labari hollow." I said. "True, well then Takato let see which of us is better." Ryo said as we shake hands. "Lets." I said. "Would Teams Tker and Jakr report to the arena." Port said over the intercom. "Well it show time." Jerico said. "Let go." I said. We part ways to get ready, once were we set into the ring. On the other side was Team Jakr. "Our next match include two teams from the new kingdom of Spyros, Teams Tker and Jakr." Port said. "Indeed Peter, the kingdom of Spyros has fighterrs with powers the world have never seen before. Who will come out on top, now let chose our battle ground." Olbeck said as the arena begin to change.

On our side was a forest while on Jakr side was a mountain. "The ring is set, let the match begin!" Port shout. My team fall back to the woods to get out of sight. "So, what the plan Goggle head?" Rika ask. I close my eyes to focus. I can sense Jerico and Koga heading for us, while Ryo and Alice are on the mountain. Rika and Kenji stay here and catch Jerico and Koga off guard." I said. "An ambush huh nice." Rika said. "Meanwhile Elize your with me, were going for the other 2." I said. "Good luck guys." Kenji said as we split up. Rika PoV: As they head to the mountain, me and Kenji got into a tree. "So, what should we do?" Kenji ask. "I'll take the mutt, you can take Mr. sunshine." I said as I change my weapon into bow mode. I saw Jerico and Koga in the distance. I aim for them and shot an energy arrow forcing them to split up. Jerico took off one way with Kenji on his tail. Koga ready his claw and start to look around for me. "Come on out little fox, you can't hide from a wolf." He said. No But I can out fox him.

Rika vs Koga

"Frost fang!" I shout as I shot the ice arrow at him. He quickly back flip through the air to dodge it. He land on all fours and then ran at me. Once he got close he tries to slash me with his claws. I quickly split the bow into my dual swords. "Cross slicer!" I shout as I slash in a x fasion to counter him. I then kick Koga in the gut and reform my bow. "Thunder pierce!" I shout as I sent the lighting shot at him. He grin as he does a barrel roll to avoid it. He then slams his claw into the ground to form his black flame wolves. "You should know little fox, us wolves prefer to hunt in packs!" He shout as them came at me. "Cyclone burst!" I shout as I shot a wind blast to blow away the wolves. "That all you got red." Koga said. I smirk as I took out one of my keys. "You haven't seen anything yet dog boy. Open gate of the giant fish Pisces!" I shout as 2 giant long fish appear about us, one was white with the other black.

"There it is folks Ms. Stellar trump card! It common to summon spirits in Spyros. And this isn't against the rules as long as she only summons one spirit per match." Olbeck said. "And Pisces count as one, get him!" I shout as the fish dive at Koga. "Oh son of a bitch!" He cries as he was tackle by them and was thrown out of the ring. That one down, wonder how the others are doing. Ruby PoV: We made it to the stands to watch our friends fight. We were quite shock on how my sister was able to defeat Koga. "Oh Koga, I know how it feel to lose to a fish." Gabumon said at his Tamer defeat. Yang was laughing her butt off at the sight. "Wow Ice queen, how does it feel to see your boyfriend get taken out by fish?" Yang ask as Weiss blushes. "He not my boyfriend, were just good friends." She said. "Right friends, what do you think of it Blake?" Yang said. We look to see both Yang and Blackgatomon drooling at the sight of the fish. "I think they are out of it right now." I said with a chuckle.

"Oh hey Rubes, look like our boys are about to duke it out." Yang said. "Go Jerico show them who boss!" Agumon shout cheering. "You can do it Kenji." Hackmon said. Good luck Kenji. Kenji PoV: After Rika's shot spilt them up from each other, I quickly follow Jerico to a clearing. Look like he was waiting for me. "So, it you and me huh Kenji's" He said as he draw his guns. I pull my gun blade off my back. I spun the chamber out to load it. "Look like it Jer, shall we give them a show?" I ask. "Oh you read my mind bro." He said.

Kenji vs Jerico

Jerico aims his guns at me an start to shoot flaming bullets at me. I quickly spun my blade to deflect the bullets away. I then shot a wind dust round at him to push him back. He slide backwards as he swift his weapon to their sword mode. He then made a mad dash at me. He jump and spun at me to slash at me. I soon parry off his attacks. Just like him, Jerico always did favor sword play when it come to fighting. I switch to a reverse grip and swung upward to force him to jump back from me. Jerico use his semblance to coat his sword in fires as he then swung to fire a pair of flames slashes at me. Two can play that game. I charge my sword with light as I cut through his attack. I then held it up as it release a flash of light. He cry out as he was blinded by the light. I use this to run forward and slam my sword flat side into his gut and set6 him out of the ring. "Sorry Jer, it time for the sun to set." I said. "Way to go Kenji!" A voice shout I look to see Ruby in the stands cheering for me. I gave her a v sigh. I wonder how the others are doing.

Elize PoV: Me and Takato made it out of the forest to the mountain on the other side of the ring. From there we head to the base to find Alce waiting for us. I notice that Ryo was perch on a higher ledge. Ok Elize it time to show the fruits of your training. I step up to face Alice. " Takato, go and get Ryo we can handle Alicee." I said as I took out my wand. "You guys sure, Alice is quite skill." He said concern. "Don't worry goggle buddy we got gothie go get mister cocky." Teepo said. "Ok good luck guys." Takato said as he vanish from place. I look over to Alice as she pull out her sword. "So I'm to face the Spirit channaler hm. Don't expect me to take it easy on you Elize because your a child." She said. I got into a stance ready for her. "I'm no child Alcie, I am a Huntress!" I shout at her.

Elize vs Alice

"Teepo roar!" I shout as I sent Teepo charging at her. Alice tries to slash at him. "Miss me." He said as he flew under it and hit her in the chest. "You pest." She said as she tries to hit him missing each time. "Deadly gaze!" I shout as I shot the beams off darkness at her. Alice quickly backflip to avoid the beams. When she land her sword extend into it whip mode. She then swung it toward me. "Teepo copter!" I shout as I grab Teepo and float into the air. "Pow hammers!" I shout as I start to drop toy hammers on her. She swung her whip to take out each of them. She then sent it at me as I let go of Teepo to dodge it. She good, very good I need to finish this now. "Teepo it time!" I shout as he got infront of me. "Roger all systems are go!" He said as he glow purple. I swung my wand to launch him to ward Alice. He spun around her to form a tower of purple channeling circles. "Scary go round!" We shout as a pillar of dark energy explode from under her. She cries out as she was blown out of the ring.

"And that the end of Miss Maccoy, this only leave Ryo of Team Jakr remains." Port said. I look up to the mountain. Good luck big brother. Takato PoV: I just reach the mountain peak just as I heard that Alice was taken out. Not bad Little sister. I look to Ryo who was frowning. "Well shit, guess I'm all that leave." He said as he turn to me. I draw my sword. "It funny Ryo, ever since the Digimon came back in our first lives all those years ago. You and I have always fought with each other." I said. "About which of us should lead the Tamers, you couldn't made the hard choices back then. But your not the same person you were. We all needed to change to face what coming." He said. "We do, we are facing a threat we know nothing about. I need to know if were all ready for it." I said. "Then let not waste anymore time." He said as he ready his tonfas. "I couldn't agreed more." I said as I charge at him.

Takato vs Ryo

Ryo smirk as he aim his tonfa and open fire on me. I use my flash step to dodge them with ease. I then appear in the air above him. "Crushing strike!" I shout as I dive right at him. He raises his tonfa in an x formation to block my attack. He then slam his leg into my gut to push me back. "Rising fang!" I shout as I slash upwards as he jump back to avoid it. He then put his weapon together to form his battle staff. He use it to pole vault to get above me and swung downward. 'Danku!" I shout as I put up a barrier to block it. He move back from me. "Not bad Takato." He said. "Then let me turn up the heat, Burn them away Moeru Ryu!" I shout as I change to my ShiKai. "Nensho Surasshu!" I shout as I sent the flame slash at him. When the smoke clears I saw that Ryo skin was a shining sliver. "So that must be your semblance huh?" I ask amaze. "Yep your idea to have Rika sister and her friends to unlock our auras pay off." He said as he ran at me and started to strike at me.

I was out stepping him as much as I could. "Sorry Ryo but game over Raikoho!" I shout as I bast him at point blank with the lighting blast and sent him out of the ring. "And that is it folks, the winners of the match are Team Tker!" Oobleck shout as the crowd cheers. I soon regroup with the rest of my team. "We did it!" Elize cheers. "Were the best!" Teepo shout. "And we put Ryo in his place." Rika said with a smirk. "There the rest of the tournament to get through." Kenji said as he look to the stands. "And were gonna wins, come on let head back to the others." I said as we made our way back to the stands. Normal PoV: In the direction that Kenji was looking Cinder and co were watching the match. "They sure are strong." Emerald said worry by the Tamers powers. "Yeah goggles and red head most of all, how in the hell do we fight someone who can call spirits to fight? Hey Cinder think they will be a problem for the plan?" Mercury ask.

The gold eye woman cup her chin. "Takato skills and Rika spirits maybe, but I can adjust the plan to keep them out of the way." Cinder said as she turn to white hair girl next to her who was eating a bucket of popcorn. "What are your thoughts on this matter Angela?" She ask. "The Tamers won't be a problem it why I'm here after all. The same goes for my Brother. I will make sure he know what side he should be on. To think he would fall for a sliver eyes is beyond me. But mother believes we can use her to our advanced." Angela said. "True one of our pieces is in place once the rest are set Beacon will fall." Cinder said. "Speaking of pieces, hey Angela when are t6hose pals of yours gonna be here?" Emerald ask. "Later today in fact I should go meet with them. Let me know how the next match go." She said as she walk away. "Hard to believe she the bosses kid." Mercury said. "She may not look like it, but Angela is a dangerous person that you shouldn't cross, now let get back to the tournament." Cinder said.

Jerico: Man this sucks that we lost, well at least I can cheer for the others. Next time on Taless of Tamers Xilla: Chapter 21: Hasz vs Sssn.
