Hello and welcome back to the next chapter of Tales of Tamers Xilla! Today were heading into the final section of this arc. We have 5 chapter until we reach the end of Volume 3. Recap
Last time on Tales of Tamers Xilla: After winning their match Takato and Rika were roaming around Beacon when they ran into Coco of Team Cfvy. She took them about the strangest that happen in her match against Mercury and Emerald. It wasn't long after that Goodwitch brought them to the headmaster office to find Ozpin, Ironwood, Qrow and Ludger waiting for them. Ozpin ask them what was their favorite fairy tale as Pyrrha told the story of the 4 Maidens. Ozpin reveal that the Maidens are real people. They took the students down into a secret chamber that hold the injured form of Amber the current Fall Maiden. Qrow reveal that she was attack and someone stole half of the maiden power. What worst Amber is dying, if they don't transfer the power, then it will rejoin the rest in Amber attacker. To do this they plan to fuse Amber soul with Either Rika or Pyrrha. Rika refuse because becoming the maiden would mean leaving Takato and Hikari. Pyrrha on the other hand wasn't sure of herself. Things grew worst when they learn that Yang was arrested for injuring Mercury after their match. They return to the others to discover what going on.

Chapter 25
It all goes wrong
Normal Pov: In a storeroom in Amity arena, Cinder and co were planning their next move. After pretending to carry Mercury away to get treated the Villans regroup here, Mercury was busy fixing his legs showing them to be cybernetic. 'So your legs are made of metal?" Ask Ichigo. "Thanks to my fucking piece of shit dad, I'm lucky my sister made me these, a lot better then my old ones." He said. 'Aiko always have a way when it come to machines." Angela said. "It a good thing your legs were fake or else Xiao long would have mess you up." Emerald said. "But instead Emerald semblance make the crowd see her attacking him after she won." Tristen said not liking the way they did that. "It was worth it to see the look on her face when the cops busted her ass." Mercury said with a laugh. "Which have help us spread discord among the people. Now we only need one more push." Cinder said. "And I take it you have already chose the means for the final act?" Angela ask. "I have, with what I have plan for this next match, this kingdom will fall. This will be something that no one will ever forget." Cinder said with a vile smile.
Takato PoV: It was a day later since we learn about the Maidens and what happen to Yang. We don't understand what happen, Yang won her match against Mercury, butt for some reason she attack him and broke his leg infront of every one. Lucky General Ironwood let her go but she was kick out of the tournament. Something about this whole this doesn't feel right to us. Right now everyone were in Team Rwby dorm. "Yang you dolt why did you do that, because of it were out of the tournament!" Weiss said. "Back off Ice Queen, Yang was defending herself from that sore loser." Bearmon said defending his Tamer. "That right, it Mercury fault for not knowing when to quit. All I did was punch him in the face." Yang said. "But Yang, everyone saw you shooting him in the leg breaking it." Elize said. "Like that a bad thing, the jerk deserve it." Nora said. "No, he attack me after I won." Yang said. Something about this isn't right, i can tell that Yang is telling the truth. I look to Keisuke and Erika.
"Did you guys record the match by any chance?' I ask. Erika nod as she pull up the footage on her Scroll. She paly the video as it shows what everyone saw, Yang shooting and breaking Mercury legs. That when I saw it. "There Erika zoom in on Yang face." I said. "Right." She said as the image zoom in. "Every one look at Yang face." I said as they lean in to see as Yang narrow her eyes at something. "It look like Yang is reacting to something." Koga said. "You said Mercury attack you first babe?" Jerico ask his girlfriend. "That what I been trying to tell you guys this hold time." Yang said. 'But from what we saw, it was Yang that attack first." Zubamon said. "No, it what we were trick to see." I said. "What do you mean?" Jaune ask. "For some reason, the crowd saw that Yang attack Mercury, but it truth it was the other way around. She was clearly step up." I said as I turn to Kenji. "Does Mercury have a semblance that let him cast illusions?" I ask. He shook him head. "No, not that I'm aware of, I only know him through Cinder." He said.
"Even if this bastard did, the real question is why he went after Yang with this?" Rika ask. "Rika is right, what could he gain from doing this?" Palmon ask. "No idea, But it best we keep an eye out in case anything else happen. For some reason I believe this is only the beginning." I said. So where on stand by for now, then we should return to the Arena." Sven said. "Yeah, Pyrrha is going against Penny today, I can't wait to see that, it going to be so freaking awesome!" Nora shout. Pyrrha soon got up. "It best I go prepare for it." She said as she left the room with out another word. "Is Pyrrha alright she seem off." Keisuke said. "It nothing guys, she maybe just nervous." I said. "I'll go talk to her, let go Ludomon." Jaune said as they follow after Pyrrha. 'Things are not looking well for us partner." Moeru Ryu said. No they are not. Jaune PoV: We reach the courtyard to find Pyrrha sitting alone by the statue. I sat next to her. "Are you ok Pyrrha, you been acting strange since yeasterday." I said.
She sigh and look at me. 'I just have a lot on my mine Jaune." She said. "If you want to talk about it I'm willing to listen." I said. "Smooth move there lover boy." Ludomon whisper as I elbow him. '"I just most of my life I was told I was destined for greatness, this cause me to become a strong believer of destiny. But now I was given a choice that could change my destiny for ever!" She shout as she slam her fist into the ground. "Please Jaune, I need to know what to do!" She shout upset. "Well, if it your destiny, I say you should go for it." I said. 'Jaune no." She said. "I mean your the strongest out of all of us, Way stronger then mean that for sure. You deserve this more then any one." I said. "Please just." She said. 'And well support you." I said. "Just stop!" She scream as she thrust her arms out and we were pin to the wall by our armor. Pyrrha gasp in shock as she drop us. "I'm sorry." She said as she ran away. 'Pyrrha wait." I said but she was gone. 'What the hell was that about?" Ludomon ask. "I don't know, was it something I said to her." I said. Pyrrha just what is going on with you?
Takato PoV: After coming back to Amity arena, me, Ruby, Kenji and our Digimon were wondering around the arena. The idea of Yang getting set up by Mercury is fresh in my mind. Just what is he after? "Kenji how must do you know about Mercury and the others?" I ask. "Not much, I know Cinder since we ere kids, she mostly kept to herself. She my mother student after all, It was through her that I met the others about a year ago. Sorry that I can't be more help." He said. "Takato, do you really thinks he capable of this?' Ruby ask. "No. it most likely Mercury is acting under someone orders, he could be working with the people who help cause the breach a while back." I said. "You mean the white fang and the Digimon who been helping them." Kenji said. "Yeah if they set up Yang, there no telling what they could do to the rest of the Tournament. It why were walking around before Pyrrha match starts. Speaking of which we should head back to the stands." I said.
But then a near by door opens and out came Mercury. He look at us. "What Mercury, but how?" Ruby ask. "So I was right it was a step up." I said. "Well shit, I wasn't suppose to let anyone see me." He said. "Now for our next match, it Pyrrha Nikos of Beacon vs Penny Polenia of Atlas." Port said over the intercom. "Well isn't that interesting kids, Metal vs Magnetisms not a good match up don't you think." Mercury said with a grin. "No, Penny they are going after her!" Ruby shout in worry. "How you know Penny is their target?" Kenji ask. "It a long story." She said. "Then go and stop the match, I'll handle Mercury." I said as I draw my sword. "Right good luck." Kenji said as they ran off. I turn to Mercury. "That stunt you pull with Yang, you have help since you don't seen the type to come up plans." I said. "Oh what make you say that?" He ask. "You don't seem the type to trick your opponents, you prefer a hand on approach. No, I bet that your teammate Emerald is the one with the illusion semblance am I right?" I ask.
He frown. "Your more clever then we give you credit for, no wonder my boss think your a threat to our plans." He said. "Speaking of which, what do you plan to do to Penny? I ask. "Sorry but you be six feet under to care!" He shout as he charge at me.
Takato vs Mercury
He jump and kick at me as I quickly grab him and threw him back. I then rush at him. "Slash wing!" I shout as I swung at him. He use his leg to block my strike. Once the blade made impact I heard a clanking sound. I quickly jump back. "I see so that the case metal legs." I said. "The best there is, way better than the shit you can get in Atlas." He said as he kick at me to shoot a dust shot. I swung my sword to deflect it. He continues to fire a barrage at me as I use Flash step to avoid them. I then got close to him. "Tail whip!" I shout as spun at him to push him back. "Die already you bastard!" He shout as he charges at me. "Danku!" I shout as I raise the barrier as he clash into it. "Dragon fangs!" I shout as I slash him several time to knock him to the ground. Before he could get up I stomp on his chest and hold my sword at his neck. "Now tell me what I want to know, who are you working for!" I shout. He chuckles. "If you waste anymore time on me Goggles, your going to miss the show." He said. My eyes widen. Penny!
Bastard, he was stalling for time. I quickly ran to the arena, when I got there I was too late. I was force to watch as Pyrrha cry out as she use her semblance to force Penny swords back. The wires that connected them to her, wrap around the Atlas girl and torn her apart. But instead of blood there was metal and wires. Penny was a robot this whole time. But no, I felt a soul in her, I know I did. "Penny!" Ruby scream. Soon the crowd follow her. Suddenly a black queen chess piece appear on ht6e screens even on my scroll. "This is not a tragedy." Cinder voice said through the speaker. "Cinder, so she is behind this." I said. This was not an accident. This is what happens when you hand over your trust, your safety, your children, to men who claim to be our guardians but are in reality nothing more than men. Our academies' headmasters wield more power than most armies, and one was audacious enough to control both." She said.
"They cling to this power in the name of peace, and yet, what do we have here? One nation's attempt at a synthetic army mercilessly torn apart by another's star pupil. "Damnit where is she hiding at!" I shout as I look around. "What need would Atlas have for a soldier disguised as an innocent little girl? I don't think the Grimm can tell the difference. And what, I ask you, is Ozpin teaching his students? First, a dismemberment, now this? Huntsmen and Huntresses should carry themselves with honor and mercy, yet I have witnessed neither. Perhaps Ozpin felt as though defeating Atlas in the tournament would help people forget his colossal failure to protect Vale when the Grimm invaded its streets. Or perhaps this was his message to the tyrannical dictator that has occupied an unsuspecting kingdom with armed forces. Honestly, I haven't the slightest clue as to who is right and who is wrong, but I know that the existence of peace is fragile, and the leaders of our kingdoms conduct their business with iron gloves. As someone who hails from Mistral, I can assure you the situation there is equally undesirable." Cinder continue.
"Our kingdoms are at the brink of war, yet we, the citizens, are left in the dark. So, I ask you, when the first shots are fired, who do you think you can trust?" She said as the screen turn dark. The crowd scream even more as they try to run. I saw Ruby was in the arena kneeling next to Penny body. I flash step next to her. I saw Pyrrha was crying. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to." She said. "Don't blame your self, blame Cinder. She'll pay for this." I said as we heard a thud. We look up to see a giant nevermore pecking at the arena barrier. "Well fuck me." I swore.
