Hello everyone; I'm back once again to bring you another chapter in my story. I hoping this story keeps getting more popular so with that out of the way lets begin.

Loyalty and Lies: Chapter 3

Shisui was fighting a 3 sided battle with his 3 attackers; Sai was attacking at long range, Shin was attacking him at short range and Nagasumi (Naruto) was using a vast array of mid-range Jutsu keeping him off balance. The only thing keeping him alive is the fact that he's using his famous body flicker technique; the after images were keeping his attackers from hittin him directly but that wasn't going to last.

Naruto quickly went through hand signs and spit out what looked like water from his mouth that hit the ground and missed Shisui and all his after images; Shisui then became alarmed as the water wasn't water it was like a gel. He then saw Naruto go through hand signs and release a small fireball at the 'water'; the next moment the entire area that was covered was engulfed in a large inferno.

'Combination Jutsu: Napalm fire storm' Naruto thought as he looked at his handiwork. His master Fugaku told him to come up with his own techniques to keep the enemy from guessing his next move. He got the inspiration from the toad oil techniques and used his second main affinity water to create a flammable liquid; his fire jutsu isn't that strong but when mixed with his napalm or his wind chakra it can even itself out.

Naruto then saw Shisui appear out of the flames his left leg badly burned. 'Damn' Shisui thought 'I didn't expect that; if I didn't substitute at the last moment that could've ended badly' he thought before he blocked a sword strike from Shin.

"Wow this is fun" Shin said with a smile as Shisui grunted in effort "if we were not enemies, we could've been great sparring buddies" he said as he pressed his attacks before Shisui kicked him away. Before he could get a moment to collect his thoughts, he was attacked by a ink golem from the Sai kid.

"You shouldn't talk to much brother" Sai said to Shin as he proceeded to make 2 more golems that engaged Shisui.

Shisui cursed as this fight was taxing 'these are no ordinary kids' he thought as he blocked another strike 'they're at least high chunin to low jounin' he thought before he felt a burning pain in his back.

Naruto seeing that Shisui was distracted proceeded to slash his back; this turned out to be a error as shisui grabbed Naruto's wrist and pull him forward and hitting him in the mask with the pummel of his sword. Shisui then slached at Naruto who caught a glancing blow to his abdomen before retreating.

Shisui then went wide eyed as he saw that his strike broke the mask and showed his attacker; blonde hair, one blue eye, 6 whisker marks.

"Naruto Uzumaki" Shisui said in surprise as Naruto scowled.

"I abandoned that surname a long time ago" he said as he felt his wound heal and stood up straight "I'm just Naruto now" he said to which Shisui flinched at the young man's gaze.

"No you are still Naruto Uumaki; the hakage has been looking for you. Where have you been? Why are you attacking me? Why do you have a sharingan" Shisui asked to which Naruto tilted his head.

"Why would I answer that" he said as he got back into a fighting stance "you know my identity; so now you must die" he said as he charged forward.

With Sasuke

Sasuke was practicing his fireball jutsu when he saw a bright light come from the forest; as he walked to the site, he heard the sounds of metal hitting metal. As he hid behind a tree, he saw his brother's best friend Shisui fighting 3 boys; a blonde, a black-haired boy wearing a mask and a silver haired boy wearing a mask. As he refocused on the battle, he saw one of the attackers about to hit Shisui from behind. In a moment of instinct, he ran as fast as he could kicking the boy and surprising the 4 combatants as they didn't sense his chakra.

"Sasuke" Shisui said in surprise "what are you doing here" he asked.

"I was training" Sasuke answered "what are you doing here" he asked before Shisui grunted and looked Sasuke in the eyes. A moment later Sasuke looked wide eyed as Shisui in a moment told him everything; the coup, his father and him and Itachi trying to stop it.

"Sasuke" Shisui said in a panic "run to the Hokage! Warn him" he said as he grabbed Sasuke and threw the boy a good distance. Sasuke landed on his feet and ran as fast as he could to warn the Hokage.

'Shit' Naruto thought "Shin, stop him! Don't let him reach the village" Naruto yelled as Shin nodded and ran after Sasuke. Shisui tried to stop him but was intercepted by Naruto "your fight is with me and Sai" he said as the 3 boys reengaged in combat.

With Shin

Shin was trying to catch up to Sasuke as the boy was running faster than expected; 'I guess being scared really does make you run faster' Shin thought as he caught sight of Sasuke. Shin then appeared in front of Sasuke.

"Please give up" Shin said kindly "I was told to catch you not kill you; so, would you kindly" Shin said trying to reason with Sasuke. He then dodged a volley of kunai as Sasuke ran off again.

"I will warn the hokage and Itachi if it's the last thing I do" Sasuke yelled as he disappeared once again.

"Damn" Shin said "can't make it easy on me" he then jumps off again to catch his target.

With Naruto and Sai

Shisui was getting tired as he was huffing; his chakra was running low due to him over using his body flicker technique and him using his sharingan for 15 minutes straight. He then dodged an ink tiger from Sai as he destroyed it with a slash; only for Naruto to appear from out of the tiger and cut Shisui across the chest slicing through his armor and opening a wound that while not fatal hurt like a motherfucker. Shisui jumped away and went through hand signs and blew out a massive fire ball which Naruto and Sai dodged. Naruto deciding that this fight has dragged on long enough went through handsigns, mixed his chakra with the fox's and prepared his attack.

'Combination style: Fire Fox incineration' As he blew out a large golden ball flame at Shisui.

Shisui in a panic summoned his imperfect Susanoo in order to protect him when the attack hit; only to see his defenses start to falter as the halfway through the Jutsu. As the protective barrier cracked Shisui was hit with the tail end of the fire jutsu burning him badly and crippiling him as he fell to the ground.

Naruto breathing heavily grabbed his sword and walked over to Shisui; as he stood over the badly burned Uchiha he spoke "you know something Shisui" Naruto said as Shisui listened while in agony "you were always my idol" he said. Naruto then decapitated Shisui as his head rolled on the ground; Naruto fell to his knee as he felt intense fatigue. 'Holy shit' Naruto thought 'Shisui was every bit the genius he was rumored to be' Naruto then grabbed Shisui's severed head and placed it on his body; Naruto sealed the body inside a scroll and got up popping a soldier pill to regain some of his lost chakra.

"Lets go find Shin" Sai said as Naruto chuckled.

"Great minds think alike" Naruto said as he put on his replacement mask and ran off in the direction that Shin and Sasuke ran off in.

With Shin

Shin was chasing Sasuke who was trying desperately to escape; but no matter what he did, run, hide, fight nothing worked as Shin would follow him like a blood hound.

'There has to be something I can do' Sasuke thought in desperation until a idea came to his mind; he darted into the trees out of sight of Shin for a split second until Shin saw him stop and began to speak.

"You finally giving-" he began until Sasuke did something Shin never expected him to do.

'Fire style: fireball Jutsu' as Sasuke hit Shin directly with a full powered fire ball. Shin fell to the ground the front of his body completely black with third degree burns. Sasuke then got a good look at the boy as he coughed and groaned in agony; Sasuke then threw up at the sight of the charred boy and began to cry. "I'm sorry, I-I- I'm so sorry" Sasuke said through his tears as he turned and began to walk in the direction to the village.

Sasuke only walked 3 steps before a 2 kunai hit him in the back piercing his lungs as he fell to the ground and started gargling and drowning on his own blood.

'Don't ever turn your back to the enemy' Shin thought as one of his lessons from root popped into his mind as the world began to go blurry.

"Wh- happ-… holy shit" Shin heard a voice way as he could no longer hear or see properly "da- Shi- W- ". Shin used all his remaining consious to try to listen as he heard the voices of Naruto and Sai next to him.

"Oh god no" Sai said the voice echoing in Shin's head

"God damnit Shin…" came the voice of Naruto. Shin then let out a breath as he realized something; he was dying but at least he was with his brothers.

With Fugaku and Mikoto

Both the Uchiha clan head and the matriarch were enjoying tea until they heard a 'thunk' at the door; opening the door they found a Kunai with the Kanji for fox on it. Fugaku told Naruto only to use this in emergencies; Fugaku turned to Mikoto and said "grab the medical kit Naruto, Sai or Shin might be hurt bad" he said as Mikoto ran to a closet and grabbed a scroll filled with all kinds of medical and first aid equipment.

Both ran out of the house at break neck speed in the dead of night to Naruto's house as that was the designated rendezvous. It took them 5 minutes of running to reach the house as they unlocked the seal entered and reapplied it; they ran to the door Fugaku ignoring the fact it was locked kicked it down and looked around. He then saw Naruto sitting alone staring off into space.

"Naruto" Fugaku said to no response "Naruto" Fugaku yelled as Naruto slowly turned to his Master "what happened" he demanded as him and Mikoto began to worry. Naruto silently got up and led them to a storage room; upon entering Mikoto and Fugaku felt like they had their heart and souls ripped out. Sai was currently holding the charred hand of his deceased brother Shin, next to him was the decapitated body of Shisui with the head sitting on his stomach and lastly was the pale body of their son Sasuke. Mikoto ran over to her son and began to sob as cradled her sons body.

Fugaku with tears in his eyes as well looked to Naruto in sadness and confusion "what happened" he choked out.

"Shisui was going to try to stop the coup; I found that out through one of the bugs I planted in the Hokage's office. When Sai, Shin and I fought him we were almost about to win until Sasuke came out of nowhere; Shisui used his Sharingan to relay what was happening and ordered him to go warn the hokage. Shin chased after him on my orders to capture him; Sasuke hit Shin with a fireball and mortally wounded him. Shin used the last of his strength to kill Sasuke in order to prevent the Hokage from knowing that we know about his plans" Naruto explained with pain and sorrow in his voice.

Fugaku was heartbroken; his second son chose the village over his clan and his surrogate son lost the closest thing he had to a brother. Fugaku then heard a button snap and turned and saw that Naruto pulled out his kunai and held it to his throat.

"I failed you master" Naruto said with tears in his eyes "give me the order and I'll kill myself in atonement" Naruto said. Naruto then had his hands slapped making him drop the knife as he was then hugged by a sobbing Mikoto.

"Don't you ever do that again" Mikoto yelled "I lost Itachi and Sasuke to this damn village; I don't want to lose my last son" she said as she held Naruto tighter. Naruto then began to sob into Mikoto's breasts as she held his head and stroked his hair trying to calm him down to no avail.

Fugaku then walked over to Sai and put his hand on his shoulder "let's give him a proper burial" he said as Sai silently nodded. Fugaku picked up the body of Shin and took him to the yard; with a simple earth Jutsu he made a grave and buried Shin while also making a earth head stone. He the pulled out a Kunai and gave it to Sai "I'll leave the inscription to you" he said as Sai once again nodded.

'I gotta fix this' Fugaku thought as he reentered the house.

Hours later

Fugaku with the help of Shadow clones staged a scene that would buy him some time and put the heat off him; he staged the corpse of Sasuke in a location that was easy to find but not too easy. Upon a anbu finding the body Fugaku played his part of a angry and emotional father to a tee; Mikoto however was still in shock so her reaction was not staged in the slightest.

Fugaku called the entire Uchiha clan to come in for a head count; the only one missing was Shisui who did not return home last night. Fugaku then with great acting came up with the story of how it must've been Shisui who murdered Sasuke as he was noth there. Fugaku pulled Itachi aside after the roll call and spoke in a angry and demanding voice.

"You are Shisui's best friend. Where could he have possibly gone to? Who might he be working for" Fugaku asked to which Itachi answered honestly.

"I do not know" Itachi said to his father's annoyance.

"Has he been acting strange? Gone on a really bad mission? Had any kind of homicidal or suicidal thoughts" Fugaku asked in desperation to which Itachi shook his head.

"No father" he said to which Fugaku breathed out heavily.

"The coup is canceled" he said as Itachi looked at him in surprise "I want you and our best detectives to investigate Sasuke's murder. I want you to track the Shisui down and have him in front of me and your mother in cuffs; you have 2 weeks or there will be consequences" Fugaku said activating his Mangekyu Sharingan for emphasis. Itachi nodded nervously as he bowed and vanished in a swirl of leaves.

'I got to tell lord Hokage' Itachi thought 'the coup may be over but now there is a bigger problem; if someone could take out Shisui then that's a bigger problem" Itachi thought as a image of a smiling Sasuke flashed through his mind. 'Little brother; I know Shisui didn't kill you but I swear I'll find out who did and avenge you' Itachi thought as he went to the hokage office.

With Fugaku

Fugaku was standing in front of Naruto and Sai as both boys still had solemn looks on their faces.

"Boys" Fugaku spoke up as both boys focused on the man "we have a short amount of time; so let me cut to the chase" he said as Naruto and Sai looked at him. "Sasuke's death while tragic has given the clan some breathing room but there is now an opportunity; the hokage will think the coup is canceled due to the tragedy so that's our window of opportunity" he said as Naruto and Sai looked confused.

"What do you mean Master" Naruto said to which Fugaku let out a breath.

"During Sasuke's funeral we will trap the clan heads, council members and the Hokage all in one area and take them out in one fell swoop" he said surprising the 2 boys.

"How long until the funeral" Sai asked.

"3 days" he answered "3 days until the coup begins, 3 days until the Uchiha rises from the ashes and 3 days until Naruto gets his revenge on the village that shunned and hated him" he said as both boys looked at him wide eyed. "Any objections" he asked as Sai and Naruto looked at each other and nodded.

"No master" they both said in unison.

Damn I think I love this chapter the most out of any other I have written. Ok well review and like and until next time Bye
