Hello again everyone I'm back again with another chapter for all you kind folks. I got no other announcements so let's begin.

Loyalty and Lies: chapter 4

Outside the Hyuga compound: 1 day before the coup

Naruto was currently watching the Hyuga compound studying his target; Hiashi Hyuga. Naruto never liked the man he was a hypocrite of the highest order; he on numerous occasions talked about how the Uchiha was a clan of barbarians. Quite funny coming from a man who's clan enslaves their own family.

Naruto was done studying the compound and was about to leave until he heard the sound of crying coming from the woods behind him; he proceeded to quietly go to the source of the crying and found 2 crying girls. One appeared to be around Naruto's age and another appeared to be no older that 3 or so. As he listened closely, he heard what they were saying.

"Big sister" the younger girl said "I'm scared… what if the monster that hurt that boy comes for me" she said as tears fell from her eyes.

"Don't worry Hanabi" the elder girls said as she comforted Hanabi "the monster won't come for you" she said trying to calm her sister down.

"But what if it does" Hanabi asked still frightened.

"Then your sister will protect you" came a voice that scared the both of them; they then looked and saw a boy wearing a blank anbu mask. He then removed his mask making both girls blush at how handsome the boy was; blonde hair done into a pony tail, whisker like marks on his face and most peculiar his mismatched eyes, one was sapphire blue and the other was black. "It's a big sister's job to protect her sibling correct" he asked to the elder of the 2 sisters.

"Correct" the elder sister said as she shied away from the boys gaze "but I'm small and weak I don't know if I can" she said to which Naruto chuckled.

"You can if you try hard and believe in yourself" he said as he looked up towards the sky "I was weak to but I found something to fight for and that made me strong" he said as he looked towards both girls with a soft smile. "What are your names" he asked.

"H-Hanabi" Hanabi said shyly.

"H-Hinata" the elder sister said. Naruto then reached into his pocket and produced a piece of paper with a small seal on it.

"This is a emergency seal" he explained as he kneeled in front of Hanabi "if you ever get into trouble just put a little chakra into it and I'll come to you" he said as he gave the paper to Hanabi. He then decided to imitate Mikoto and kiss the young girl's forehead "a hero will always come to a princesses rescue" he said as Hanabi giggled at being called a princess; even though it was mostly true.

Naruto then stood up and before he could leave Hinata called out "w-wait" she said as Naruto turned around "who are you" she asked. Naruto looked thoughtful before putting on his mask.

"I'm just a anbu lady Hinata" he said as Hinata blushed at the title "oh and please don't say you saw me; my master would be upset if he found out I talked to girls instead of doing my job" he said as both girls nodded and swore secrecy.

As he disappeared in a swirl of leaves both girls looked at each other and then looked at the paper he had given. "A hero" Hinata said as Hanabi blushed and giggled.

"He seems more like a prince" she said as Hinata looked at her confused "a prince saves princesses; heroes save villages" she said as she thought about the handsome blonde boy.

As both Hinata and Hanabi decided to go back to the compound they had no idea that this small encounter would be their saving grace.

The next day: Uchiha compound

Fugaku was sitting down in the hall of the Uchiha funeral hall as he looked at the entering guests to the funeral hall. As he looked to the dark skies he let out a sigh 'Sasuke I wish you didn't go against the clan' he thought as he reflected on his late son 'maybe I should've been a better father' he thought until he was brought out of his thoughts by someone standing over him.

Hiruzen looked at the Uchiha patriarch with sad eyes; he too knew the feeling of losing a son and offered out his hand. "Fugaku you have my condolences" Hiruzen said sympathetically as Fugaku shook his hand.

"Thank you, lord Hokage," he answered as Hiruzen spoke.

"Where's Mikoto" he asked to which Fugaku sighed once again.

"Mikoto has been taking the death of Sasuke especially hard" he said as he looked down at the floor "she has been in a state of shock ever since finding out; she's in the bed with Izumi watching over her for her own safety" he said as Hiruzen nodded.

"Once again I'm sorry for your loss" he said as he walked off; after Hiruzen walked away Fugaku was approached by the clan heads as they all began to give their condolences. In particular Tsume Inuzuka since she felt responsible since her clan members were responsible for partoling the village. Fugaku then saw that only Hiashi Hyuga was not with the group; instead, he was sitting stoically not saying a word. Fugaku felt a jolt of anger at the man; not only did he actively try to under mind his clan but from what the reports from the academy have been suggesting he has been abusing his eldest daughter as the bruises on her arms and legs were clear evidence.

Fugaku tightened his fists at that; while he definatly not the best father he would never raise a hand against his any of his sons. 'Hiashi' Fugaku thought darkly 'I may not enjoy killing the others but you I will find some semblance of joy in ensuring your daughters are safe' he thought. Naruto had told him how he had confronted Hiashi's children; Fugaku had no reason to kill the children of the clan heads he did not want any unnecessary casualties. As the funeral began Fugaku stood up; as he looked at the crowded room he began the eulogy of Sasuke as his plan began to start.

With Kakashi

Kakashi was in his position watching the funeral hall; he remembered how his friend Obito had his funeral in there, even though there was no body. Kakashi was one of 4 anbu outside to provide security; with many skilled ninjas and the clan heads the hokage was perfectly safe from any outside threat but they were still there as back up. He then reached up and touched the button on his communication devise.

"Cat report" he asked to no response "cat report" he repeated. 'Damn communicators' he thought 'why did cell 3 get the new ones and we get the hand-me downs. "Monkey check in on cat her communicator is on the fritz again" he said to which he also got no response. Kakashi then began to get worried as he was now on full alert.

"Cat, Monkey, Crane? Do you copy" he asked to no response "Yugao, Hayate, Yugiro do you cop-" he said until a blade pierced through his chest and he looked down in horror. As the blade was pulled out he fell to the ground coughing out blood; he then felt his dog mask be taken off as he looked up and saw a figure over him. The figure then took off his blank mask showing blonde hair and whisper marks.

"Naruto" Kakashi coughed out as he was looking at the long lost son of his late sensei "w-why" he asked only to have his head severed off. Naruto then reached down and plucked out his sharingan putting it in a vile for later use. Naruto then pressed a button on his communicator and spoke.

"Sai, Izumi, Mikoto report" he spoke.

With Sai

Sai was drawing a picture of the cat masked anbu he just killed "target eliminated".

With Izumi

Izumi just got done saying a prayer for the monkey masked anbu "target dead".

With Mikoto

Mikoto wiped the blade of her old katana; after nearly 15 years of collecting dust she finally picked it up again. "My target is neutralized" Mikoto said.

With Naruto

"My target is down" Naruto spoke confirming "go to the rally-" he began until he was knocked to the ground. As he looked up he saw 2 figures appear one wearing a mask and another that looked to be half human half plant.

"I finally found you boy" spoke the man in the mask "I can finally finish what I started" he said as he slapped a piece of paper onto Naruto's forehead.

With Fugaku

"-I can only hope that Sasuke can find peace in the afterlife as this world is too-" Fugaku stoped reading his eulogy when a shock wave shook the earth and everyone who was present 8 years ago heard a familiar roar. As everyone exited the building they saw a sight that shook them to their very core; the nine tailed fox was back. The fox readied a small biju bomb and Fugaku yelled "Dispurse" as all the Uchiha shushined out of the area while most of the others looked on in confusion and fear.

Fugaku and his Uchiha clansmen escaped the blast just in time; while they were still hit by the shock wave none were seriously injured. He then saw that Hiruzen and the clan heads escaped; the others like the civilians and whoever else was unable to shushine was not so lucky. Just as soon as it appeared the fox was gone; just then they heard from the east the sounds of destruction; the fox was teleported into the outside of the village walls.

Fugaku looked at Hiruzen as the old man spoke "Fugaku you know what to do" Hiruzen said as Fugaku nodded.

"Uchiha clan attack" he yelled as the Uchiha clan roared. Hiruzen looked back at the village as he was preparing to fight the fox a second time in his life; he then dodged a kunai that nearly ended his life as Fugaku then started throwing a flurry of punches and kicks at the aged hokage.

The clan heads were caught completely off guard; Shikaku Nara was the first to be eliminated as he was the biggest threat out of all of them followed by Choza Akimichi who was the power house. Tsume Inuzuka, Hiashi Hyuga and Inoichi Yamanaka went on the defensive as Shibi Aburame was standing still.

"Shibi get the lead out of your ass and fight" Tsume Inuzuka said as he turned to her.

"I must apologize Tsume" he said as his bugs began to come out "I took a deal in order to help my clan; for to long we have been discriminated against got what we hold inside us. It's only logical for 2 discriminated groups to team up to fight oppression" he said as he sent his swarm after her.

Hiruzen was now panicking; he was unprepared for the fox and he was unprepared for Fugaku. As he got some distance, he shed his robes revealing his battle armor. Just then Fugaku and Shibi stood in front of the aged Hokage.

"A hokage level Uchiha and a S-class Aburame vs a Old man playing Hokage" Fugaku said as he activated his sharingan "I like our odds" he said as Shibi nodded.

"Our odds are most favorable" he said as his bugs came out of his sleeves "but lets not get over confident; he is the hokage for a reason" he said as Fugaku nodded.

With Naruto

Naruto was in the forest outside the Uchiha compound feeling like shit; that masked bastard did something that made the fox get loose. If it wasn't for his Uzumaki genes he would be dead from the extraction; he then reached up and touched his now useless right eye.

'Damn it' Naruto thought as he saw nothing but darkness 'I may have saved myself from dying by using Izanagi but I still feel like I'm on deaths door' he thought. He then heard 4 separate landings.

"Naruto" Mikoto yelled as she stopped next to him.

"Who's with you" he asked and Sai responded.

"Me, Izumi and Tetsuo" he said as Naruto reached into his pocket revealing Kakashi's sharingan.

"Transplant this, fix me up and let's get into the fight" he said as he propped himself against a tree. "Sai and Izumi go find the masked man and the plant man" he said as the 2 jumped off.

With Fugaku

Fugaku and Shibi were still fighting the Hokage as he was proving to be a real pain in the ass. Fugaku being fed up unleashed his Susanoo and attacked Hiruzen; Hiruzen remembering his lessons from the first hokage started using long range fire jutsu in order to weaken the defenses. He then felt his chakra being drained as he realized he fell into Fugaku's trap as Shibi had been slowly draining him of his chakra. Fugaku then canceled his Susanoo and engaged once again in hand-to-hand combat.

Hiruzen feeling weakened fought with all his might; until he then felt a slash along his back that cut through his armor. Hiruzen then disengaged from Fugaku and looked at who attacked him from behind. He first saw Mikoto Uchiha in full battle gear; then saw a sweating and bruised blonde boy holding a ninjato and a single sharingan in his right eye.

"N-Naruto" he said as he saw his long lost grandson "Naruto what are you doing here? Fugaku what have you done" he yelled as the impassive looking Uchiha clan head.

"I took him under my wing" Fugaku said as Hiruzen had a murderous look in his eye.

"You brain washed him didn't you" he said until Naruto spoke up.

"No he didn't" Naruto said as Hiruzen looked at the boy "he took me in, he trained me to become as strong as Itachi, he gave me something this village never gave me; a chance. The fourth hokage was a fool for believing in this village; this village is corrupt, twisted. The villagers take their anger out on a child, the Hyuga enslave their own people and Danzo kidnapped and brainwashed children to be his soldiers" Naruto shouted as Hiruzen looked at him in shock. "I'm here of my own free will" Naruto said as he activated his mangekyu sharingan.

"Naruto the fourth Hokage; your father along with your mother wouldn't want you to go down this road" Hiruzen said throwing a hail mary in order to sway the boy; but to no avail.

"Minato Namikaze is not my father" he said to Hiruzens despair "and Kushina Uzumaki is only my birth parent. My father is Fugaku Uchiha and my mother is Mikoto Uchiha; family isn't who you are born with" he said getting into a kenjutsu stance "it's who you'd die for".

Hiruzen then looked at Naruto as he ran towards him; for Hiruzen time slowed down as he saw him run to him. Naruto with his glowing Sharingan and a face full of rage and hatred had his sword in a position to pierce the old man through the chest.

'Minato, Kushina… I'm sorry I failed you and I failed Naruto' he thought as Naruto was now only inches away 'Biwako, my love; I'm coming to you now' he thought as he closed his eyes.

Naruto sunk his sword into Hiruzens heart killing him instantly; Naruto then pulled out the sword and let the old man fall to the ground. Naruto gave him one last look as a single tear left his blue eye; he may have hated the old man but he still loved him in a small piece of his heart. Naruto then turned to Fugaku who spoke.

"What happened" Fugaku asked. Naruto then told him everything and Fugaku closed his eyes "Naruto go deal with the fox; use everything in your arsenal" Fugaku said as Naruto bowed and disappeared. "Mikoto" he said gaining his wives attention "deal with Itachi" he said as Mikoto nodded and ran off "I'll deal with that masked bastard myself" he said as he then disappeared.

With Hinata and Hanabi

Both sisters were scared and crying as they were hiding in the Hyuga clan bunker with the entire clan as the demon outside ravaged the village. Hinata was comforting her sister as she was scared beyond belief.

"It's ok Hanabi I'm here" she said failing to calm down her crying sister "I'm here and I'll protect you no matter what" she said and Hanabi stopped crying. Hinata was curious as to why she stopped as she saw Hanabi reaching around to find something.

Hanabi then pulled out the piece of paper she got from the boy yesterday and put as much chakra into the paper as possible. 'Please come ' she prayed silently as she awaited for her savior. The next thing she knew the paper vanished as a puff of smoke appeared in front of her and Hinata as all the occupants of the bunker looked and saw a blonde boy just appear.

The blonde boy then grabbed both girls and spoke "hold on tight" he said as both girls grabbed his arms and they vanished in a puff of smoke. The occupants of the bunker were confused for a second; once the second passed the entire bunker collapsed as a red paw smashed down through the ceiling killing all occupants.

At Naruto's house

Naruto let both girls go as they looked around and saw they were in a house; they then saw their blonde savior quickly change his damaged armor and suit for a new one.

"You'll be safe here" he said as both Hinata and Hanabi looked at him "the demon is on the other side of the village; wait here until I come back" he said as he grabbed a black jacket and put it on in a single wift motion.

"W-wait" Hinata said stopping the boy "what's your name" she asked as the boy paused for a moment before speaking.

"Naruto Uchiha" he said smiling at the 2 girls "wait here ok I'll be back I promise" he said to which Hanabi spoke up.

"But what if you don't" she asked worried to which Naruto chuckled.

"I don't break promises" he said as he disappeared in a swirl of leaves.

In Konoha

Fugaku was standing in front of the masked man Naruto said ripped the kyuubi out of him.

"Fugaku" the masked man said to which Fugaku looked impassive.

"You ruined my plans, destroyed a part of my clan's compound and tried to kill my son" he said activating both his Sharingan. "I don't care who you are" Fugaku said as he got into a fighting stance "but I will kill you for what you've done" he said.

The masked man activated his sharingan and got into a fighting stance as well.

While most thought that fighting the Kyuubi was the priority; the battle between Fugaku and the masked man was going to be the battle that decided the future.
