Regarding recent suggestions I have received - I read and appreciate every suggestion I receive, but ultimately I'm probably not going to use most of them. We all have our own personal preferences, and I will only write what pushes my own hot button. If I like your suggestion I will use it and give you credit, if I don't that just means it didn't appeal to me specifically. Polyamory is a hard no for me; in my stories, Adrien and Marinette will both only be with each other. I might eventually have one or both of them be raped by a third party, as I do like to explore dark topics, but the loyalty between them is not to be compromised. I received a suggestion involving the impregnation of Alya, I'd be game to do that provided it's with Nino (and provided I have a plot in mind which at the moment I don't). Even though Chat Blanc is still technically Adrien, I don't see myself using him either. Now, onto the scheduled update, which is probably as close as I'm going to get in writing a sexual scene for Ladynoir.
"Cataclysm!"
"Chat! Look out!" Ladybug's warning came too late, as a cascade of loose dirt fell on her partner's head.
"Ppppttt." Chat spit a mouthful of mud out of his mouth. "No use, it looks like we're farther from the surface than I thought." His ring flashed. "I'm on limited time before I turn back."
Ladybug's ear rings beeped. "I'm ahead of you, but that's the least of our worries if we drown." She glanced warily at the rising water, illuminated only by her red and black candle flickering nearby.
They had chased their akuma down into the Saint-Martin Canal, a man-made river running under the city. The akuma had managed to collapse the tunnel ahead of them, then, had unexpectedly doubled back and made it past them, ultimately collapsing the tunnel on that side as well.
"So, what are we going to do?"
"What can we do?" Their situation was starting to feel hopeless. They'd clawed at the walls of their prison. They'd tried searching underwater for an escape. The same gaps that were letting water in didn't seem large enough to let a human out. They'd worked at enlarging the holes only to tire very quickly and need to come up for the ever sparser air. They could tell they were using oxygen faster than outside air was getting in. Her time was running out, perhaps on her entire life, but particularly on her transformation. She felt herself shift back into Marinette, and her bleak hopes faded further, what could Marinette do that Ladybug couldn't? There was no escape for her. She resigned herself to her death, and a feeling of peace came over her. She had just enough time to make one more memory.
"Chat," she called him softly. He looked over at her, and when he saw she was in her civilian form, a surprised look crossed his face. "You love Ladybug, do you love me?"
Chat felt lightheaded, the lack of oxygen was really starting to get to him, but he pulled together an answer. "You are Ladybug, I love you."
She crawled over to him. "Then make love to me. I want to find out what it's like, before we die."
"Okay," Chat reached over and pinched out the light of their candle. "It was taking our air," he explained himself, "I want to make our last moments together last as long as possible."
"Don't talk," Marinette scolded him, "kiss me." As their mouths found each other in the darkness, Marinette contemplated how her perception of her own fate had shifted so drastically in such a short time. An hour ago, she wouldn't have thought she would ever be in such a position with Chat, much less enjoying it. One hour before, it had been Adrien or bust, but now she realized that she really didn't want bust, and Adrien simply wasn't in the picture anymore. Chat was the last man in the world as far as she was concerned, and it shocked her how easily he became the center of it. She felt the warm leather under her fingertips melt away, replaced by a cold shirt, which soon heated up from the warm bodies pressed on either side of it. She felt him grab her hip in the dark, pulling her close to him. She allowed his hands to snake into her clothes, up against her bare skin. She felt emboldened to continue exploring his body more intimately. Her consciousness faded out as instinct took her over.
"Are you sure he's going to wake up soon? I can't sit around here all day."
"We can't guarantee anything, Mr. Agreste, but his brainwaves have certainly improved since last night."
"Oh, all right, I'll stay for a while. I would like to be here when he wakes up."
Adrien knew his father's voice but he couldn't respond. 'Am I alive?' he thought. He didn't know how, but if he heard his father's voice, he must be.
"You're awake."
Adrien hadn't even realized that he'd opened his eyes. As soon as he was conscious of that fact, his vision flooded to him. He was in a hospital bed, his father looking down at him.
"You gave everyone quite a scare. You're lucky someone saw you go down there before the collapse. They had to dig a huge hole in the shopping district just to get you out. You were found in quite a compromising position, you know."
His father's last statement sent a jolt rushing through Adrien. He sat up. "Is Marinette okay?"
Gabriel glared sternly down at his son, "she's pregnant."
"Then, she's alive," Adrien sighed, "but, is she okay?"
"Did you not hear me the first time, Adrien? She -"
"That doesn't answer my question!" Adrien interrupted "she could be pregnant and still be okay, or be pregnant and not be okay! Which is it? Oh... oh gosh... she's really pregnant?"
"It finally hit you?"
"Yes," Adrien laughed nervously, "but really, I need to know, how is she otherwise? Is she upset?"
"Last I knew she hadn't woken up yet, but she was in stable condition. She should be awake by now - what are you doing?"
"I've got to go see her!" Adrien swiveled his legs off the edge of the bed and tried to stand, "or not."
"Two weeks? How can I have slept for two weeks?"
"You were brain damaged. An induced coma was the best way to let you heal."
"Am I still brain damaged?"
"Not as bad as you were, you may be a seizure risk for the rest of your life, but beyond that, you can expect to have normal function back the way it was before the accident. There's just one more thing that will make a difference going forward, are you ready to hear?"
Marinette looked over toward her parents, who were standing quietly at her bedside. They looked nervous. Her mother reached out a hand to her, which Marinette took gratefully. "I'm ready."
The doctor looked uncomfortable, but continued. "Do you remember the last thing you did before you passed out?"
Marinette turned red, "I think so..."
"Well, it turns out, you're going to have a baby."
"I didn't think it mattered," Marinette whispered again. "I was convinced I didn't have a future. It was supposed to be one last memory to take with me. I'm glad I lived, but... I wasn't prepared to live. Now there's this," she gingerly petted her belly, which as of yet had no noticeable change to it. "Does he know? He deserves to know."
"Adrien was put into a coma too," her parents informed her. "They were scheduled to start waking him up around the same time as you. His father was determined to let him know what he's done as soon as he's conscious enough to comprehend. I imagine he's getting an ear full right now."
Marinette sat in stunned silence. She couldn't let her parents know they had just divulged to her the identity of her baby's father. Tears pricked her eyes, maybe they could forgive her if they thought that in what she'd perceived as her last moments, she'd given into her lust for a boy they knew she'd loved for an extended period of time. They could never know that in the moment her baby was conceived, she hadn't truly known or cared who it was. The answer to that question was the best it could possibly be, but still, she was scared. "I'm sorry," she choked "I let you down."
"Marinette, you didn't make the best decision, but you were under more stress than any person should ever be expected to handle. Right now, we're just happy that you're alive. We can figure out how to deal with the consequences later."
"I asked him if he loves me," she whispered, "he said he did. I love him too, that means, we're going to be okay. We've got to be. When can I see him?"
Despite protests from both heroes, the hospital kept their patients strictly confined to their own rooms, citing that until they were strong enough to be discharged, they weren't strong enough to go visiting either. They were taken on aggravatingly short walks as part of physical therapy, and at one point saw each other down a long hall, but were told it was too far, and they must turn back. They couldn't help being suspicious that, due to the sensitive nature of their relationship, the hospital didn't want to be responsible for reuniting them without parental supervision.
When they did next see one another it was under supervision of their families, when they were being released to go home.
A/n - Sorry for the abrupt stop. I've been holding on to this one almost finished for months, and have no inspiration how to finish. If I forced myself to write something, it would be a generic pregnancy reveal like you see in previous chapters. At this point the story I wanted to tell has been told, I think it's better I post and move on.
