Hello everyone I'm back again to bring you all another chapter to my story. I'm loving the support for this series and I'm glad to say it is one of my favorites to write. Ok with that out of the way lets begin.
Loyalty and Lies: Chapter 5
Fugaku threw several kunai at the masked man; he then saw the kunai pass through him and hit a wall behind him. The masked man then ran towards Fugaku and attempted to grab him; Fugaku quickly dodged and gained some more distance and threw several more Kunai. As the first few kunai passed through the masked man he was then hit with pain as he looked down and saw a shuriken in his abdomen.
"I see" Fugaku said "your phasing jutsu can't be used for that long; so you deactivate it whenever the attack stops. That's good to know; now I just need to keep attacking" he said as he went through hand signs and fired a fireball at the masked man.
As the fireball hit the stream continued for over 15 seconds 'damnit' the masked figure thought as he ran forward after the jutsu dissipated 'I got to end this quickly; I can only use kamui for no more than 5 minutes and he already made me use up 45 seconds' he thought as he tried to attack Fugaku as he kept his distance.
With Itachi
Itachi was rushing over to stop the 9 tailed fox from destroying the village 'how could this happen' he thought 'the 9 tails is supposed to be sealed inside Naruto but nobodies seen him in years. Did he finally come back for revenge' Itachi thought. Itachi then jumped to the side as he dodged sword strike before receiving a kick to the chest; as he regained his footing he looked and was shocked to see his opponent "Mother" he said looking at Mikoto.
"Itachi" Mikoto said as she settled into her fighting stance "you are such a disappointment; a son willing to betray his own family in order to protect a village that has outcasted them" she said as Itachi froze and responded.
"A coup was never the solution to the Uchiha's problems" Itachi said as he took out his sword "I was doing the honorable thing and eliminating a threat to the village" he said to which Mikoto scoffed.
"Danzo has been secretly killing Uchiha and harvesting sharingan for years, he's supplied Orochimau with funding and subjects for his experiments. The council stopped the Uchiha from helping the village during the last 9 tailed fox attack; it resulted in the clan to be ostracized and hated. The village doesn't care about the Uchiha so why should we care about it; the first hokage and our ancestor Madara were fools to believe Konoha could change the world when it only brought more hatred and violence" Mikoto said to which Itachi felt his will waver as he did not know about Danzo or the council.
"So, your plan to kill me, is that it mother" Itachi said before Mikoto spoke.
"You are not my son" she said shocking Itachi "you planned on murdering a entire clan because of the actions of a few; I know about how you and Shisui were conspiring with the Hokage and Danzo to stop the Uchiha at all costs" she said pointing her sword at him. "Naruto is more of a son to me than you are; and once this is over, I will love and cherish him like how Kushina would have wanted" she said getting back into her stance.
Itachi froze at the name 'Naruto; the container of the 9 tails? He's been here the entire time' he thought as he refocused on his mother. "Very well" Itachi said getting into his stance "I have no choice then; let's begin" he said.
Mikoto and Itachi then rushed at each other and clashed blades; mother and son fighting for opposite goals. Mikoto fighting for her family and Itachi fighting for his village.
With Naruto
Naruto dodged another one of the fox's tails as it smashed the house he was just standing on; 'fuck' Naruto thought as he continued running 'how the hell did the first hokage catch this thing by himself' he thought as he quickly went through hand signs 'Combination style: Scorching White Phosphorous ' he then blew a thick white cloud to the fox. Upon contact the white smoke began to burn and stick to the fox's fur; Naruto created this Jutsu by combining Earth, Fire and Wind chakra. He mostly had Mikoto to thank for it because she had a Earth affinity and thought Naruto the basics; Fugaku seeing this suggested Naruto use his Wind affinity and basic fire jutsu in combination with basic earth jutsu to create a new technique.
Upon seeing the Fox begin to thrash around and attempt to put out the white hot flames that refused to be snuffed out Naruto; began to think 'Ok I got it off balance now I just got to-' he began until a giant toad appeared and began to battle the giant fox. Naruto then saw a figure land in front of him; a white haired man with a red Haori and a headband with the kanji for oil on it. The old man was about to begin questioning Naruto until he looked at his face and all seriousness was replaced by happiness and relief.
"N-Naruto" Jiraya stammered as Naruto nodded "Naruto my boy you're here I can't believe- "he began until Naruto interrupted.
"No time for that" Naruto said cutting the toad sage off "we got to reseal that Fox in me or else this village is screwed" he said as Jiraya nodded.
"Ok let's do it" Jiraya said as he teleported himself and Naruto to the top of Gamabunta as the toad was now a distance away from the fox. "After all these years I've been searching for you and now you're here" Jiraya said as Naruto looked at him "I can't wait to find sensei when this is over and show him you're back" he said smiling. Naruto was back; Jiraya didn't know how or why but he didn't care. He can fix his mistakes, train Naruto and make him the ninja Minato and Kushina always knew he could be.
Naruto however was looking at the man with a blank stare 'Jiraya; the man who abandoned me when he was suppose to take care of me' Naruto thought 'let's see if you will correct your mistake or if you will make another one' he thought as both refocused on the rampaging fox.
With Sai and Izumi
Sai and Izumi were fighting against the plant man that was with the masked man who attacked Naruto; they both thought that this opponent would be incredibly strong and very skilled. As Izumi cut off his head and incinerated the remains with a fire jutsu; Sai and Izumi looked at each other.
"Was he really that weak" Izumi asked to which Sai shrugged.
"I guess he wasn't as big of a threat as we thought he was" Sai said as he sealed away the charred corpse of the strange plant man "go find Mikoto or Fugaku and assist them" Sai said as Izumi nodded as she sped off.
Sai began to run to his and Naruto's house 'after I get the items, I got to find Tetsuo so we can prepare for the final phase of the plan' Sai thought as he sped off.
With Fugaku
Fugaku fired another fireball at the masked man which phased through; only to then punch the man once his technique was used.
'Damn' the masked mas thought 'I can't afford to lose now' he then used his kamui to appear behind Fugaku; only for Fugaku to jump away and throw several kunai with paper bombs attached. The explosion rocked the area and when the smoke died down Fugaku could see that he damaged the mans mask revealing the right side of his face.
"How pathetic" Fugaku said looking at the man "you posses a sharingan, have a ability to phase through objects and yet you are still being beaten. If you are a Uchiha you're a pathetic failure" he said as he then summoned his Susanoo and began attacking once more.
'Shit' the masked man thought 'all these years and this is all I can do' he thought as he dodged a punch from the Susanoo.
With Mikoto
Mikoto was clashing blades with Itachi; Itachi for his part was having a incredibly hard time agianst Mikoto. All her years of being a house wife has not dulled her skills in the slightest; her years serving with Kushina Uzumaki and Hitomi Hyuga has brought her to a level to which she could stand toe to toe with anyone.
Mikoto jumped away and quickly went through hand signs 'Earth Style: Mud Bullets' she then sent a hail of mud projectiles at Itachi who was about to block them with his sword; only to be hit in the back with a fire ball and take the hits from his mothers earth style jutsu. As he recovered from the attack he looked and saw someone stand next to Mikoto; his lover Izumi.
"Izumi" Itachi said as Izumi looked at him with disgust.
"Itachi" she said with anger and sadness in her voice "you were planning to kill the entire Uchiha clan. Were you going to kill me too" she asked. Itachi could not answer the question with words but his silence spoke for him; "you monster" Izumi shouted "I loved you! I truly loved you and you were going to kill me over a village that would just throw you away like garbage; I hate you Itachi and I'll see that you die for your treachery" she shouted. Both Mikoto and Izumi charged at Itachi.
Itachi fight just got a lot harder; he was now fighting 2 people that he loved and what's worse they were winning.
With Naruto and Jiraya
"Hurry up will you" Naruto said impatient as he looked at the 9 tails thrashing in front of him trying to get away from Gamabunta and the 2 other toads keeping it at bay.
"Hold your horses kid" Jiraya said as he carefully painted another sealing kanji onto Naruto "this is a delicate process; one wrong move you die and then the entire village is screwed unless we seal it into another baby. And I'm sure you don't want to do that" he said.
Naruto holding in his urge to scream that it was his father who started this fiasco waited patiently for the old toad hermit to finish his writing.
"Ok done" Jiraya said as he put his hand onto Naruto' shoulder and teleported in front of Gamabunta and in front of the 9 tailed fox. Naruto looked at the towering fox demon and shuttered; he always knew of his burden but seeing it in front of him made him down right terrified. "Naruto I got to war you" Jiraya said looking at the boy "this is most possibly going tobe the most painful thing you are ever going to experience in your life" he said.
Naruto looked back at him and then at the Kyuubi and huffed "just do it already" he said both mentally and physically exhausted from all that has transpired today.
Jiraya quickly went through hand seals until he reached the final seal "Sealing Jutsu: 8 Trigram Seal Reconstruction" he yelled as the kanji written al over Naruto's body began to glow; then Naruto started howling in pain.
Naruto felt like his skin was burning off as his muscles tore away, his bones felt like they were being ground to dust as his mind played horrific images of destruction and death through his brain. He was yelling and screaming as the 9 tailed fox was being resealed back into the young blonde boy as the sealing tattoo on his stomach began to reform. The fox tried it's best to fight against the seals power but to no avail as it got dragged back into its blonde host.
As the final part of the fox vanished into Naruto's seal the village grew dead quiet; and the only sound to be heard was Naruto huffing and sobbing from the pain as blood dripped out of his nose, mouth, eyes and ears. Naruto then slowly got up to his feet his body rocking back and forth as the pain was intense and adrenaline was wearing off.
"I got to find him" Naruto said.
"Find who" Jiraya asked; he didn't get a answer as Naruto disappeared in a puff of smoke "damn it Naruto you're in no shape to be wandering off" Jiraya yelled. Before he could do anything else he heard an explosion and decided to go investigate.
With Fugaku
Obito Uchiha now unmasked and facing his former clan head narrowly dodged an exploding kunai thrown by Fugaku. Both men were huffing and puffing as their chakra and stamina were slowly draining. Just as Fugaku was about to re-engage Obito he heard a thud from behind him; as he turned and looked he saw Naruto badly beaten and almost unconscious. Fugaku then realized something; an opportunity that could finally end this fight "Naruto" Fugaku yelled "use your mangekyu sharingan on him" he said pointing at Obito.
Naruto without asking any question used his mangekyu on the scarred faced man; Fugaku then ran at Obito with a kunai in his hand and made a stabbing motion. Fugaku was now a few feet in front of Obito; Obito on his part tried to use his Kamui ability. Only for it to not work; Fugaku plunged his kunai into Obito's chest making the disfigured Uchiha cough up blood. Fugaku then pulled out a second Kunai and stabbed Obito through his temple; as his body fell to the ground he had one final thought 'Rin, I'm sorry'.
As Obito dropped to the ground Fugaku looked at him wondering how was he alive; he then heard a thud and turned and saw Naruto now collapsed on his side. "Naruto" Fugaku yelled as he rushed over to his apprentice.
"Master" Naruto said weakly.
"Yes, it's me" Fugaku said looking over Naruto "what happened" he asked.
"I sealed the 9 tails back into him" Jiraya said as he landed near Fugaku "what the hell happened here" he asked. Fugaku cursed as he was not expecting Jiraya to be here; he was low on Chakra and exhausted from his fight with Obito. Before he could speak he saw a murder of crows form around Jiraya.
"Lord Jiraya" Itachi said grabbing the toad sage "we must retreat" he said simply as they disappeared in the crows until only black feathers were left.
"Fugaku, Naruto" Mikoto yelled as landed next to the 2 injured men "are you 2 all right what happened" she yelled as she rushed over to them.
Fugaku pointed to the dead body of Obito as Mikoto gasped in horror "Obito was the master mind behind this but that's not important" he said picking up Naruto "Itachi and Jiraya are still loose we need to finish the plan quickly" he said.
8 hours later
Fugaku now stood atop the Hokage tower or what was left of it as a giant crowd of nearly everyone in the village stood in front of the tower; Fugaku was using a projection Jutsu so everyone could see him clearly. As the head of Konoha's police and one of 2 of the remaining council members he was about to make a speech in order to calm the panicking villagers. Fugaku cleared his throat and began to speak.
"People of Konoha what happened last night was a horrific and terrible tragedy that could have been avoided. Hiruzen Sarutobi was a fool and a Kage past his prime, now is time for new leadership, now is time for reconciliation, now is the time for the leaf village to rise from the ashes and rebuild. People of Konoha; this is the beginning of a new era."
Fugaku finished and closed his eyes; everyone who was looking at him was wondering what he was doing. He then slowly opens his eyes revealing his new Eternal Mangekyu Sharingan and said a single word "Kotomatsukami".
Ok another Chapter down. First I will like to say Zetsu is by far the worst villain in Naruto; I honestly did not like them retconning him and making his the mastermind behind everything. I honestly prefer to either kill him off or ignore him altogether since he ruined Madara the best villain in the series. Second Obito just spams Kamui so I took the liberty and made it a little weaker and plus lets be honest if Obito did not have Kamui he would've been killed 10 times over. And lastly before any of you start complaining the next chapter I will explain how Naruto using the Mangekyu was able assist Fugaku in killing Obito and also how Fugaku now has the EMS.
