Chapter 4: Earning Trust

In the newly build garage Link and Lincoln is looking at Rita and Lynn Sr trying to move some boxes.

Lincoln: "Mom, Dad what's going on?"

Link: "Yeah What the F*ck, are you doing with my sh*t?"

Rita and Lynn looked and each other then Rita sighed.

Rita: "Well Link, I got a call from Lincoln's teacher that he wasn't in class today and-"

Lynn Sr: "That was you wasn't it?"

Link: "You specifically said no adventured at night now no adventures on school? Y-you know that school isn't a great place for smart people it's actually-"

Lynn Sr: "Oh there he goes again trying to say how life works differently but guess what? It made our son skip a whole day of school"

Lincoln knew that his father is now really serious about it.

Rita: "So we're moving you to Sunset Canyon"

Link eyes widened after hearing that and got mad.

Link: "What the hell sis we talked about his, sure I'm old but not that old I'm a scientist I make robots and machines not to live life in some old people house knowing their lives are coming to an end. I'M NOT GOING"

Lynn Sr: "Oh yeah and who's gonna stop us"

Lincoln then spoke up.

Lincoln: "Look Mom, Dad you don't have to do this, Uncle Link just needed my help that's all"

Lynn Sr got on his knees to talk to him.

Lynn Sr: "Lincoln even if you like being with him we can't afford any chances, you see we knew how you're always being left behind by your sisters"

Lincoln's eyes widened hearing that.

Lincoln: "You knew..?"

Rita: "Yeah and we've done nothing to do it and ever since we got that call we realized our mistake, we're sorry"

Lincoln now has alot in his mind.

Lincoln: "Wow… that's alot to take in"

Rita: "I'm sorry Link I hope you understand"

Link rolled his eyes.

Link: "Lincoln square root of pi"

Lincoln: "1.77245385, what the!?"

Lynn Sr: "Hold on… *Starts counting with the calculator in his phone* oh my gosh that's actually right"

Link: "How about the first law of Thermodynamics?"

Lincoln: "The increment in the internal energy of a system is equal to the increment of heat supplied to the system, Oh My Gosh I'm actually really smart"

Rita look at Link with disbelief.

Rita: "How did you..?"

Link: "Guys Lincoln may still need some time to catch up with his sisters but if he sticks with me he might actually earn something"

Lynn Sr: "Well I'm convinced"

Rita: "Me to, but he still has to go to guys can have adventures but remember the time okay?"

Link: "Got it sis"

Lynn Sr and Rita left the garage.

Lincoln: "Wow Uncle Link I didn't know hanging out with you makes me smart"

Link: "Yeah full disclosure Lincoln those pills gave you have a side effect to increase your brain power temporarily"

Lincoln: "WHAT!"

Link: "I'm being honest here Lincoln you're still the lame man I know"

Lincoln couldn't believe what his uncle did, he just trick his parents so they can have more adventures.

Lincoln: "I can't believe you just did that to my parents"

Link (Now more serious): "Oh I did Lincoln, now that I gain their trust we can go on alot of adventures Lincoln all day, all night, every day, every time, you know there are alot of people out there who could tare us apart but we're strong Lincoln as long as you stick by my side, we'll be unstoppable, unbreakable, inseparable, and from now on you can call me Link, Lincoln that's what the adventures all about. Link and Lincoln for a hundred years, Link and Lincoln forever and ever, and ever and ever and EVEEEEERRR"

Lincoln could only stare at his uncle, now he knows that his life won't be the same again.
