Last time on Tales of Tamers Xilla: Weiss ended up in hot water with her father to the point she wanted to leave Atlas. Jacques didn't like this as he ground Weiss and revolt her claim as the Heiress to the SDC. Weiss refuse to be his prisoner as she prepares to join Jerico on his escape from the Kingdom. Meanwhile the Mistral group were having trouble with Tyrian when Qrow show up to give them a hand. The battle was brutal but they were able to drive Tyrian off but he call for a Scorpiomon. The gang gotten help from someone they didn't expect, Argo older brother Goro and his partner Dracomon. But it was Elize who came through as she vow to protect her friends, this let Lunamon to reach her ultimate level Cresenmon and defeated Scorpiomon. Afterwards they left the village to find a safe place so Qrow can tell them what going on.

Chapter 37

Much needed talk

Takato PoV: It was about an hour and a half since our encounter with Tyrian and Scorpiomon. We were trying to get as far from the village as much as we can. Once we stop, I turn to look at Goro and Dracomon. "So, care to explain since when you became a Tamer? I ask. "You forget I'm from a family of info brokers and spymasters right. Sometime after the attack by Lucemon I was call to the digital world with several others, there we met our Digimon. We went on a few adventures we came back right before the Vytal festival. When the shit hit the fan, My team and I were told to keep an eye on you guys." He said. "By who?" Palmon ask. "He call himself Gennai, he show and told us to help you stop a Digimon call Grimmon." Goro said. "Grimmon Tyrian mention during the fight, he must be the Digimon aiding Cinder group." I said. "From what I know of him he was A Digimon the Sovereigns defeated along time ago. Now he back and he looking for something here on Remnant." Goro said. "What he looking for?" Teepo ask. "No clue." Goro said.

"So, what of the rest of your team?" Jaune ask. Goro look to me. "You know Hiro and Zero two?" He ask. "Zero two, if you know Zoey old name that would mean?" I ask. "Yep, I'm from the same world as them in a past life." He said. "So that mean the rest of your team is too?" Nora ask. "We are, almost all of squad 343 are in this world." Goro said. "Then how come we are learning about you guys now?" Rika ask as she cross her arms against her chest. "Because we didn't know we were all on this world until we met in the Digital world, nor did we remember until we saw each other. Were only missing two of us." Goro said. "Two?" Elize ask. "Yes, two of us are uncounted for. I'm still trying to find them." Goro said as we came to a clearing. "Ok kids, this spot looks good, let set up camp." Qrow said. "Then you will tell us what going on?" Falcomon ask. "Will do feathers face. Let get to work." Qrow said as we work to set up our camp. Rika came over to me. "Takato about Goro story, he said a man name Gennai hire him right?" She ask. "He did why you ask?" I ask. "Isn't Gennai a character from the Digimon show?" She ask. I blink. "Your right, but it just a show, so Gennai can't be real right?" I ask.

"I don't know Goggle head it could be, I mean remember that Neodevimon we fought a long time ago, he call us Digi destined. I'm just say we should keep an eye on your pal." She said as we look over to Goro. "Right." I said. By the time we finish setting up camp it was dark. We all sat around a fire. I look to Qrow. "Now tell us what is going on. Who is Tyrian working for?" I ask., Qrow let out a sigh. "Her name is Salem, from what Ozpin told me, she is a witch who can control the creatures of Grimm." He said. "Salem, is that Kenji mother?" Elize ask. "Did Ozpin know about Kenji and Angela?" Rika ask. "Kenji at first since he came to Beacon saying he wanted no part of Salem plans. Angela on the other hand, I only learn of her through rumors. Didn't think she was real until the fall." Qrow said. "If Ozpin knew the truth of Kenji, then why let him into Beacon?" Goro ask. "I was there when Oz question the kid, he hated what Salem was doing and wanted to get away from her. So we decided to keep an eye over him." Qrow said. "But now he show his true colors." Dracomon said.

"He didn't betray us!" Ruby scream getting our attention. "He must have a reason to go back to Salem, He a good person I believe in him." She said as Palmon hug her. "Uncle Qrow, what does Salem want?" Rika ask changing the subject. "What do you kids know of the gods brothers?" Qrow ask. "The great spirit Origin told us of them. They were the gods that rule over Remnant before they left after the people revolted against them." I said. "What that have to do with Salem?" Ren ask. "Let me tell you a story, in thee beginning their was the gods. The brothers of light and darkness. They live on a barren world, Light would create life on it, but Darkness would destroy it. This has repeated several times. One day, Light propose to his brother they could create something together. Darkness agreed and they created Humanity. To help them flourish, they granted them 4 grifts, choice, knowledge, creation and destruction. Its these 4 gifts that Salem wants." He said. "But those are just concepts." Jaune said. "No blondie, these 4 gifts are actually relics. you see the 4 huntsmen schools were created to protect place in a vault lock by one of the Maidens." Qrow said.

"Then the attack on Beacon, it was for Cinder to become the Fall Maiden so she could open the vault and get the relic." I said. "Nope, she never got the chance goggles." He said. "He right, you and Ruby were at the center of the flash with Cinder. There was no chance she didn't get the chance to get out of there without a getting hurt." Rika said. "And she wouldn't have the chance to get into the vault as well." Renamon said. "Plus there Oz new security measure." Qrow said. "What you mean?" Ludomon ask. "A while back, Ozpin made a large metal gate to block the way to the vault, and only he has the key." He said. "So where the key?" Biyomon ask. "No clue, only Oz knew and he took it to his death." Qrow said. "Either way it work in our favor, that mean the Fall relic is safe. But the others could be in danger." I said as I took on a worry look. "Which is why we need to get to Haven and talk to Lienhart." Qrow said. "First we need to rest after today events." Dracomon said. "He right, were running on flumes right now." I said. "Well good night." Nora said as she fell back and past out. "Typical Nora." Ren said with a chuckle. Soon the rest of us went to sleep.

The next morning we were cleaning up our camp sight. "Hey have anyone seen uncle Qrow?" Ruby ask as she look around. "No, where did he go?" Elize ask. "Holy shit!" Jaune shout. We rush to him to see Qrow was leaning against a tree. His wound was purple. "Shit Elize!" I shout. "Right." She said as she looks him over. She then look to me worry. "It bad Takato, he been poison." She said. "What how?" Rika ask. That when t hit me. "Damnit it, why didn't I see it before. Tyrian was a scorpion Faunus of course his tail would be poisonous." I said as I grip my teeth. "Elize can you cure it?" Ren ask. "No, My healing artes can slow it spread, but that the best I can do." She said. "Were no equip for this." Teepo said as he freak out. "Our only hope for him is to get him to Haven." Goro said. "Right, Jaune and Ren help me, were going to make something to carry him." I said as we got to work. "Hang on uncle Qrow." Rika said concern. Sven PoV: I was on the front porch of the Belladonna home cleaning my weapon. Koga and Ryo were with me. "So, where the girls?" Koga ask as he read a comic.

"Alice surprising is playing with Suiren, good thing Dobermon can past as a large dog. While Blake is spending some time with her parents." Ryo said as he lean against the wall. "And what of Sun?" I ask. "Last I check monkey boy is off trying to steal from the market. Honestly what does Blake see in him?" Koga ask. "I smirk at them. "Blake has spent most of her life following the rules of the white fang. It got her pretty what got her pretty far, but it also what lead her to Adam. While Sun do what he wish, it that freedom that he offers is what Blake is attracted to." I said as they look at me. "So it the whole opposite attracts thing huh." Koga said. "Yep just look at you and Weiss." Ryo laughs as Koga face turn red. "Oh stop up metal mouth." He shout. "At least I'm not a terrorist like you guys," Koga said. "I left the white fang sometime ago remember mutt." I said as I glare at him. "And I was never really part of Exodus." Ryo said. "Un sorry I didn't mean it guys." Koga said sadly. "It alright Koga." I said as Blake and Sun rush over to us.

"Something up guys?" Ryo ask. "Sun spotted a member of the white fang in the market." Blake said. "Were gonna catch him and see what he knows." Sun said. "Very well we shall assist you." I said. "Yeah let get him." Koga said. We rush down to the market area to look for him. "Ok everyone, spilt up and keep an eye out." Blake said as we spread out. I went to check by a building. It odd for a white fang soldier to bee out in pubic. I look around but no sign of him. That when I felt something poke me in the back. "Hello Svenpet it been a long time." A woman voce said that I instantly recognized. "Well in the words of a friend shit." I said. "Don't speak into the alley now." She said as she force me into the nearby alley way. Once in she push me to the wall so I could see her. She has dark skin with long red hair that tie in a long braid. She has freckles on her cheeks. She wore a white uniform with no sleeves with shorts and boots. She has black gloves and a rapier pointing at mee. "It been awhile Illa." I said. I let out a sigh. "So, you join the white fang." I said.

"I did it to be like you, and you betray us just like Blake!" She shout as her skin turn bright red, normal for a chamian Faunus like her. "So, what the reason you seek me out, did Sienna sent you. Figure she would use my own family to kill me just like her." I said. "Sienna Khan is dead, Adam Taurus lead the white fang now." She said. Sienna is dead, damn you Adam how far will you go. "He orders me to deliver a message to you, he is willing to forgive your sins and welcome you back to the white fang, if you bring Blake to him." Illa said as her skin turn blue. Same old Illa still so easy to read. "I will never return to that monster side. You know what he is like Illa. He will kill Blake for leaving him, you know it to be true." I said trying to get her to see reason. She shook her head. "No, I follow the will of the white fang, like you once did cousin. " She said as she lower her weapon and turn away. "Tell Adam I'm coming for him for what he did at Beacon." I said. "I will and next time we meet, we'll be enemies." She said as she walk away.

"Sven?" Dorumon ask from my D-arc. "I'm fine Dorumon, let find the others." I said as I left the alley. I soon found them back in the market center. "Sven you found anything?" Blake ask. "No, noting." I said lying to her. "Let return to your home for now." I said as we head back. Illa, I Promise I will try to get you to see reason and bring you back to the light.
