Last time on Tales of Tamers Xilla: Blake group return to her home after failing to find the white fang agent Sun saw. But it looks like the agent found them, when she was discovering spying on them. They confront her, Blake discover the agent was her old friend Illa as she injured Sun to escape. Meanwhile back Patch, Yang was getting back into fighting shape when the gang discover Hiro and Zoey olf friend Zorome. They learn from him, that their old squad is on Remnant and are Tamers as well. But then they were attack by a group of Troopmons led by a Harpymon. Yang was abe to over come her fear as it allow Bearmon to reach his ultimate level Pandamon as the two defeated Harpymon. Now they get ready to head to Mistral to support Takato group.

Chapter 39

Kuroyuri

Takato Pov: It been a few days since we discover Qrow was poison by Tyrian. It really bad, Elize healings artes are able to slow the spread down for a bit, but were not sure for how long. We need to get to Mistral soon. I refuse to let anyone else died because of me. I need to stay focus on the task at hand. Right now, were traveling down a road with Qrow in a stretcher. Since were being hunted by Salem goons, we can't risk using the Digimon. "Qrow is not looking good." Jaune said worry as we look at the injured man. "I wish I could do more for him." Elize said sadly. I pat her on the shoulder. "It alright Elize, we didn't know this would happen. We just need to get to the city." I said as we soon came to a crossroads. I look at the signs and the map. "According to this, we can go two ways, 1st is through the village of Kuroyuri which will take us around the mountain. But it will take us a week to get to Haven." Jaune said. "And the other way?" Ren ask not taking his eyes off the sign. I notice the look of fear in his eye. "We take the mountain path, it look to be faster and we'll reach Haven in a day." Jaune said. "Problem is it will be diffcult to travel with Qrow in his current state." Renamon said.

"But if we go through the village, it will take too long, we could lose Qrow by then." Ruby said scare. "It your call Takato." Goro said. I look at the map and sigh. "I hate to say this, but we need to spilt up." I said. "Spilt up, that too risky!" Rika shout. "We don't have a choice love, Qrow is in bad shape. It better if some of us get to Haven sooner, so we can get some help." I said. She sigh in defeat. "Ok, let hope your right goggle head. So, who goes where?" She ask. "Me, Goro, Ren and Nora will take the mountain path. If we hurry we can get to Have by tomorrow. The rest of you should head to the village and wait for us to get help." I said. "Alright, please hurry guys." Ruby said. "We will let move." I said as we part ways. We have to hurry before were too late. Normal Pov: Salem lair: Salem was on her throne with Grimmon at her side as they listen to Datamon latest report. "Are you certain of this Datamon?" Grimmon ask.

"Yes my lord, Tamer Xiao Long have reach the ultimate level the same goes for Tamer Lutus as well. And two new Tamers have been discover as well, Goro Raggros and Zorome Flint." Datamon said. "And Tyrian have fail his mission, I'll have to punish him later." Salem ask. "I been curious of why you wish to keep him around. He appears to be unstable." Grimmon said. "True, But Tyrian mental state make him the perfect servant ever since I free him from Atlas, he hail me as his Goddess as all humanity should." She said as she turn to Datamon. "What of the girl Ruby Rose, where is she now?" She ask. "From what Shademon reported, they stop at the Village of Kuroyuri and have spilt up." He said. Salem smirks as she chuckles with delight. "Well that is interesting to heard. I happen to have a very special Grimm in that area. It should be more then enough to deal with them." She said. "My what kind of beast do you have now?" Grimmon ask. "Oh just an early experiment of mine, I set it lose in that area 0 years ago to test it power. I wonder how the children will handle it." She said with a grin. Well, in case if fail I'' have a servant ready to strike." He said with a laugh.

Takato Pov: After separating from the others, me, Goro, Ren and Nora were moving up the mountain path to try and reach Haven. The path is narrow and steep, there was no way we could have carry Qrow through this. "Hey Takato, have you notice Ren and Nora been acting strange of late?" Moeru Ryu ask. I have, they been like that since Shion. I get the feeling they are hiding something. We continue to move as I look to Goro. "Hey Goro, have you heard from Argo lately?" I ask. "Few times, before I went to help you guys, she told me she found two new Tamers who are willing to help us. They are going to meet us in Haven." Goro said. "New Tamers." Ren said surprise. "Awesome, we could use all the help we can get." Nora said. "Agreed, honestly we have no idea of how big of an army Salem have or what this Grimmon can do. Then there Angela team and how many Tamers she has. We need to be careful." I said. "Are you worry Takatomon?" Guilmon ask. "I am boy." I said. "It take a lot to get you worry." Nora said. "Yeah, your pretty chill most of the time." Biyomon said.

"I can hide it pretty well, been doing it since I was a kid." I sad as we came to a cave. "A dark and spooky cave great." Dracomon said. "Be on guard, no telling what could be in there." I said as we draw our weapons and head inside. We soon came to a section where there an opening that overlook the forest below us. You can also see the village of Kuroyuri from here. But what have my attention is the cave itself. Scatter across the ground were dozens of old weapons. "What is this place?" Goro ask as I pick up an old sword. it was rusted and broken, meaning it been here for quite some time. "Ws it some sort of outpost?" Falcomon ask. "No, it worst." Ren said as he was kneeling on the ground. In his hand was a very old arrow. Nora put a hand on his shoulder to comfort him. "I think it time for you two to tell us what going on." I said as they look at me. "Takato is right, you and Ren been acting weird ever since Shion. Nora what is wrong?" Biyomon ask her look to Ren. He nod then turn to us. "The truth is Kuroyuri was once my home. It where I live has a child." He said.

"You see my father was the village leader, he taught me the world can be dangerous place and I need to be strong and brave to face it. It was around that I met an orphan girl Nora." He said. "Your an orphan?" I ask. "Yeah, I don't remember my parents, so I was always on my own." She said. "One day I saw her being pick on, I went tot help her but I got beat up and she ran off." Ren said. "I was really shy back then." Nora said. "So, what happen to the village?" I ask. Ren sigh. "One night, the Grimm came, my mother rush me out of the house as it collapse onto her. I was so scare, I ran to find my father. I found him fighting the Grimm. Then we heard it, that horrible scream." he said. "Scream?" I ask. "It cam from the Grimm leading the attack. My father when to fight it, ne never came back. This was one of his arrows." Ren said as he held the arrow out. "What kind of Grimm was it?" Dracomon ask. ""I couldn't tell, it was foggy. Anyway I saw Nora crying under a porch. I ran to her and calm her down. I told her it was going to be ok and I would protect her. That when My semblance activate. I can use it to disguise our emotions to hide from the Grimm. We stay like that until the attack was over. It wasn't long when a huntress found us. She train us how to fight and the rest is history." Ren said.

"So, you didn't want to return home because of this Grimm." I said. "Yes, we found it foot print back in Shion and now were in it lair." Ren said. "Which explain why these weapons are here." Falcomon said. "But the main question we should be asking is where is it now?" I ask. "Uh guys." Goro said as we look out to the forest to see the trees were moving. 'It heading for the village." Nora said. "The others, we need to get down there." I said. "But we won't make it in time." Goro said. Nora grin at us. "Leave that to us Digi-modify Digivolvtion activate!" She shout.

"All aboard the Birdramon express." She said as we got on the firebird. "Hang on guys." I said as we flew toward the village. Ruby Pov: It been a bout 2 hours since we part ways with the others. We were able to reach the Village of Kuroyuri. We look at the destroy village. "Man, this place is a mess." Ludomon said. "More death cause by the Grimm." Rika said with a growl in her voice. "You really hate the Grimm." I said. "Mother was kill by a Grimm poison, I'll never for give them." She said. I sigh. I don't blame her, unlike her and Yang, I don't really have any memories of mon. We soon came to a large tree in the center of the village. We place Qrow down so Elize can work on him. "How it is going?" I ask as she tries to heal him. "It still touch and go, but he stable for now." She said. "Don't worry Rubes, we got this." Teepo said. "Getting medical advice from a freaking doll, peachy." Qrow said weakly as he cough." Don't talk uncle, save your strength." Rika said. We then saw Renamon fur stand up. "Renamon what wrong?" Rika ask. "Something is coming, something bad." She said. That when we heard it, it sound like a horse hoof. We look to see where if came from. It was a large horse like Grimm.

"It fronts legs were claws. On it back was a skinny humanoid body with long arms. Its face was a skull with curve horns. It lift it head up to let out a horrible scream. Well were in some really big trouble. Kenji I really wish you were heard to help.
