From the word of the great Doctor Strange "We're in the endgame now". This chapter and maybe like 2 or 3 more will be all that remains to this story. So I'm going to try my best to make it as great of a send off as possible. With That out of the way let's begin.
Loyalty and Lies: Chapter 8
Jiraya, Tsunade, Orochimaru and Itachi were all standing on a hill looking in the distance as they could see Konoha off in the distance.
"Ok it's time" Jiraya said as he pressed the button on his intercom "Yamato move in to the eastern village walls; tell both Fu and Gaara to prepare to transform and destroy the Uchiha compound" Jiraya said.
"Copy lord Jiraya" Yamato said over the intercom.
"Asuma, Guy" Jiraya continued "both of you attack the western wall with your troops and try to punch through; gain control of the Hokage tower, the hospital and the Anbu headquarters" Jiraya instructed.
"Copy" Asuma said.
"With the power of youth we will free the village and restore hope and security to the people" Guy said loudly over the intercom which made Jiraya, Tsunade and Orochimaru sweat drop.
"We will attack the front gate to act as a diversion; with the element of surprise we will be able to have the advantage for a few minutes" Jiraya said as he turned around and looked at Itachi. "I hope you are ready to face Fugaku; we can't win without killing him" Jiraya said.
"Father has brought this upon himself" Itachi said "the reign of the Uchiha however short it was ends today" he said. Jiraya nodded and took in a deep breath.
'Kami grant me strength' Jiraya silently prayed "lets move" he commanded as Tsunade, Orochimaru, Itachi and half of the sound army followed behind.
With Guy and Asuma
Asuma and Guy were moving into position with their sound shinobi in order to begin their attack; to Asuma this mission was personal. While Asuma and his father had their complicated history he still loved him; he may have not been the best son but he would do his best in order to preserve the legacy of his father.
Asuma then stopped both Guy and the troops following him.
"What's wrong" Guy asked as Asuma looked around and heard the sound of buzzing.
"Ambush!" Asuma yelled as him, Guy and the gathered sound shinobi began to battle the opposing forces. It took only an instant for the quiet night to turn into a orgy of chaos and bloodshed. Men left and right were being attacked by Kunai, Shuriken, Senbon, Jutsu and insects.
Asuma was looking around and saw a mixture of Uchiha, Aburame, and various other ninja numbering at least 200 making mincemeat of the sound army; while they did have superior numbers the opposing side had 2 powerful clans and more experienced ninja.
"Asuma, Guy; so nice to see you" Mikoto Uchiha said as she appeared with Shibi Aburame and Izumi Uchiha. "How low Asuma" Mikoto said shaking her head "betraying and attacking your own village with a army of foreign shinobi; fore shame" she said as Asuma seethed.
"We are here to liberate the leaf from your clutches" Asuma said as he drew his trench knives.
"Sadly that's not how history will see it" Shibi said as his bugs began to exit his body "as like the saying goes history is written by the victor; and that will be us. It's only logical" he said.
"We will end your tyranny and restore order" Guy said getting into his fighting stance.
"You say that but you only brought chaos to our front door" Izumi said as she drew her sword and activated her sharingan.
"Shibi, Izumi; you 2 take Asuma" Mikoto ordered pulling out her sword "I'll handle Guy" she said activating her Mangekyu Sharingan revealing a Quadruple pin wheel pattern. Her Mangekyu sharingan activated shortly after Sasuke's death but she did not have time to learn how to use it; but now she has a decent control over it and will use it to her fullest extent.
Mikoto charged at guy who brought out his nun-chucks to counter Mikoto's blade as she tried to slash him. Asuma launched a fire jutsu at Shibi that made the bug weilder dodge; he then began a blade battle with Izumi.
'God how can this plan fuck up any more than it already has' Asuma thought as he dodged a stabbing attack.
With Jiraya, Tsunade, Orochimaru and Itachi
Jiraya, Tsunade, Orochimaru and Itachi were staring at the imposing figure of Fugaku Uchiha with 200 Uchiha, Aburame, Anbu and a smiling Anko Mitarashi.
"So this is how you return home; as invaders instead of guardians" Fugaku said "Oh how the mighty have fallen".
"We are here to free this village and Naruto from your clutches" Jiraya said "You Uchiha have gone to far; we will stop you here and now before you can continue your plans" he said as Fugaku looked at Jiraya like he was the biggest idiot in the world.
"What plans you buffoon" Fugaku said with a angry look on his face "all we wanted was equal status, to not be discriminated against, to be a part of Konoha again instead of being kicked to the curb" he said as Jiraya grew wide eyed. "We don't have plans for world domination, we are not going to go on some genocidal campaign; we are not monsters we are those who've been tossed aside. The Uchiha were one of the founding clans of Konoha, we deserve a equal voice, equal treatment and for our family to prosper" Fugaku finished.
Jiraya shook off those words; whether for good or bad treason is treason; no way around it. Orochimaru looking at the crowd spotted Anko and smiled.
"Dear little Anko" Orochimaru said "are you here to kill your sensei" he said teasingly "time to see you put into your place once again" he said as he made a hand seal. He expected to see Anko on the ground in immense pain; only to see her still standing in minor annoyance. Orochimaru then say a seal around the curse mark on her neck.
"Sorry sensei" Anko said with a smirk "the scroll of forbidden jutsu had some great sealing Jutsu; now it feels like a bee sting" she said making Orochimaru a little nervous. Anko was out of the village when the coup happened; while she was going to try to attempt to fight the Uchiha Fugaku he won her over by offering her 2 thing that she always wanted. Her curse mark sealed and the opportunity to kill Orochimaru; the man who screwed her over.
Tsunade was looking at the small army in front of her and was feeling the weight of the entire world on her shoulders. Not since her grandfather Hashirama has a Senju had to fight against the Uchiha clan 'grandfather; lend me your strength'.
"Enough chatter" Fugaku said activating his Sharingan and his Susanoo "lets begin this battle" he said as Jiraya, Tsunade and Orochimaru summoned Gamabunta, Manda and Katsuyu and Itachi activated his sharingan and his imperfect Susanoo.
With Yamato
Yamato, Fu and Gaara arrived at their designated location to begin their part of the plan; Fu was looking around frantically as she was looking for the 9 tails container that was supposed to be there.
"Fu are you ok" Yamato asked "get ready to begin our attack" he said.
"You are not going to attack nothing" a voice came from behind; Naruto walked out of the shadows with Sai by his side "Sai keep Yamato busy for a minute" Naruto ordered. Sai nodded and created 2 ink tigers and sent them to Yamato.
"Hello Tenzo" Sai said with his fake smile "I'm sorry but your opponent will be me for right now" he said before charging at Yamato with his Tanto in his hand. Yamato used his wood style to destroy the 2 ink creations before bringing out a kunai and beginning a melee with Sai.
Naruto seeing Yamato and Sai leave the area focused on the scared looking mint haired girl and the psychotic looking redhead boy 'geez I'm glad I didn't turn out like him; I can't imagine being as crazy as him' Naruto thought.
*In the Fox Creek Universe*
Naruto sneezed and wiped his nose "fucking hell; I better not be getting sick" he said "where was I… oh yeah" Naruto said looking down at the crying gagged woman as she sobbed helplessly as she tried to get out of her restraints. "Sorry love I didn't mean to keep you waiting you'll be joining them soon enough" he said pointing to the mutilated bodies of her husband, son and daughter "next time you decide to steal someone's wagon you better be sure he isn't me" he said pulling out his knife. "Now hold still beautiful; don't want to damage your face before I get it off" he said as he began to skin the woman's face with her muffled screaming being the only response she can make.
*Back to the story*
"Fu" Naruto said pointing to the girl "don't worry I will help you both" Naruto said as Gaara uncorked his gourd and sand began to form around him.
"Your death will appease mother" Gaara said as Fu began to slowly creep away; Naruto let out a sigh and activated his sharingan in his eye.
"I guess I will have to use this then" Naruto said as he removed the bandages from his left hand revealing a second sharingan implanted into it and raised it to cover his left eye. Fugaku and Tetsuo used the wood style prosthetics of Danzo to implant the second eye of Obito; now Naruto not only has the right eye now he has the left and can use the Mangekyu to it's full effect. "Tsukuyomi" Naruto said as both Fu and Gaara looked into the eyes and fell under the Jutsu.
In the Tsukuyomi realm with Fu
Fu was looking around scared as not the sky was red and everything else was black and white "you are in my Tsukuyomi" Naruto said appearing a few feet away "you are safe and time is irrelevant; here I control time" he said sitting down.
Fu sat down in front of Naruto and looked at his features; long blonde hair done into a ponytail, 3 whisker marks on each side of his face and 2 mismatched eyes. "You are the one Chomei reached out to" Fu asked to which Naruto nodded.
"Yes; your biju begged me to save you from the clutches of those who wish to enslave you" Naruto said as Fu looked at him wide eyed "I do not wish to kill anyone unnecessarily; so I will free you, and once this battle is over you can leave" Naruto said as Fu looked happy and then sad the next moment.
"But if I leave then I'll be hunted down for my Biju" Fu said in a defeated tone "I will never be safe" she said as Naruto looked thoughtful for a moment.
"Then you can stay" Naruto said catching Fu off guard "I have taken in several people who have had nowhere to go. You can live with me; I'm sure Hinata and Hanabi would love to have a friend who isn't me or Sai."
Fu looked at Naruto and saw no deceit in his eyes, no malice in his word; he genuinely wanted to help her "do you promise" Fu asked.
"I promise you on my life Fu" Naruto said reaching out his hand; Fu grabbed it and got up she held his hand for a few seconds before Naruto began to walk in a random direction dragging her along. "You must've had a hard life like me" Naruto said looking at Fu with a small smile "care to talk about it" he said as Fu let out a tear.
"I never was abused physically or mentally" Fu began "but my village ignored me and made me live in isolation; I never-" Fu began as she began to tell Naruto about her life and he listened to her. Both were still holding hands as they walked in the same direction with no destination.
With Gaara
Gaara was inside his mind scape he was looking at Shukaku in all his Biju horror "What the fuck are you doing here boy" Shukaku yelled shaking the ground "you should not be in here what's going on".
"I brought him here to see you" Naruto said walking up to Shukaku standing a few feet away "to show him that you are not "mother"; just a creature manipulating a young tainted mind" Naruto said. Shukaku began to laugh.
"So, what; what are you going to do about it. You're a puny human you cannot-" Shukaku began until he stopped when Naruto teleported to his nose and looked into the 2 blazing sharingan in front of his face. Shukaku became as stiff as a statue; he stared off into the distance with no signs of life.
"What did you do" Gaara asked now frightened of the blonde boy "what did you do to mother."
"It's not you're mother you delusional fool" Naruto said pinching the bridge of his nose "it's just a giant Tenuki that was playing mind games; most likely due to your awful seal. I put it to sleep so you can use its powers without hearing the voices" Naruto said. Gaara then fell to his knees.
"It was not mother" Gaara said beginning to cry "I killed so many, I've done such awful things; my life was always killing. What am I to do now" he said as began to sob. His entire life his reason for living was gone; he then felt a hand touch his shoulder.
"I can give you a new reason to live" Naruto said "fight for me, for my village, for true peace and equality; with you by my side we can ensure that no more monsters like us will ever be created" Naruto said. Gaara looking at the blonde boy stopped crying and stood up.
"Yes, yes; I-I think that can work" he said as Naruto smiled and held out his hand.
"Welcome home brother" Naruto said with a genuine smile.
With Sai
Sai was fighting against Yamato in a kunai battle; Sai knew he had to keep Yamato busy while Naruto did his thing with the 2 other containers but in all honesty Sai doubted he could last more than 2 minutes against Yamato. Just as he was about to continue the fight Yamato jumped out of the way from a wave of sand and saw Gaara moving towards him.
"Gaara what are you doing" Yamato shouted as Gaara looked back at him with a blank stare.
"Helping my new brother" Gaara said in his monotone voice; before Yamato could respond he saw Fu release a sparkling substance from her mouth that then blinded him. Yamato now blinded screamed in pain; his scream was cut short when Naruto decapitated him; Yamato's body fell to the ground and Naruto created a clone and sealed up the body and ordered it to return it to the house for safe keeping.
Sai walking to Naruto looked at him confused "when you said keep him busy for a minute you really meant for a whole minute" he asked as Naruto nodded and Fu and Gaara looked wide eyed.
"What" Fu shouted "we talked for hours; I told you my life story and you told me yours" she said.
"You went over strategies and tactics with me" Gaara said equally surprised; Naruto chuckled at both their antics.
"Time is nothing in the Tsukuyomi" he said until he turned serious "Sai you and Gaara go and assist Mikoto" Naruto ordered as both boys ran off with Gaara following Sai.
With Sai and Gaara
"Your name is Gaara correct" Sai said as Gaara nodded "I am Sai; I will like to welcome you."
"I appreciate it" Gaara said; Sai then looked thoughtful for a minute and spoke.
"Gaara are you romantically involved with a female" Sai asked to which Gaara looked confused and shook his head "excellent; my lover Sakura has a companion named Ino. I believe it would be most excellent to introduce you as she is looking for a 'cute boy' to date" he said to which Gaara looked confounded for a minute.
"I believe that could be possible; but I may require your assistance, I lack social skills" Gaara said to which Sai chuckled and pulled out a book 'how to interact with people'.
"I'm also learning; so let's help each other in this endeavor" Sai said with a smile as he put away the book "but after this battle would probably be best as when to start" he said as he and Gaara raced toward their next battle.
With Naruto and Fu
"Fu grab on" Naruto said extending his hand; Fu grabbed it and held on tight. Naruto then shushined them to Fugaku's location.
Fugaku smiled as he saw Naruto and who he assumed was Fu arrive to the battle; Jiraya, Tsunade, Orochimaru and Itachi saw the boy and girl arrive.
"Naruto you're here" Jiraya shouted "it's over Fugaku; Naruto is free from your clutches. You lo- "Jiraya began until he dodged a fire ball from Naruto.
"I always read you were a idiot but to think you are this moronic is insulting to all sentient life" Naruto said making Orochimaru chuckle at the boys words.
"Naruto; you are being controlled by Fugaku" Jiraya stated with certainty "this is not you please listen" he said to which Naruto looked at him with a bored expression.
"I am doing this of my own free will" Naruto said shocking all 4 enemies; Tsunade spoke up.
"Naruto how can you do this" she yelled "what about the village how could you betray it" she demanded until she got a harsh look from Naruto that shut her up.
"The village that neglected me, that beat me, that made me feel worthless" Naruto yelled "Konoha is not my home it's just a place to me; my true home is where ever Father and Mother are" he said as Fugaku smiled even harder at his sons words. "And I find your word hilarious; since you abandoned the village and went on a decade long bender. Let's face it Tsunade you are a weak broken woman; and it's time that the Senju line ends" he said pulling out his sword.
"Naruto" Jiraya shouted "this is not what Lord Hokage would've wanted; neither what your parents would've wanted" he said as Naruto began to chuckle.
"That's what that fool said as well; before I put this sword in his chest" Naruto said as Jiraya paled; Naruto was the one who killed Hiruzen. "And I do not care about Minato or Kushina; they never raised me, or trained me or loved me. Those names are nothing to me; I am Naruto Uchiha, adoptive son of the fifth Hokage Fugaku Uchiha" Naruto proclaimed proudly.
Jiraya looked down in defeat; Jiraya was accepting that Naruto or who ever he was hoping he was going to save was long since dead. Tsunade was now crying; her cowardice and pain made her lose her only connection to her distant relative Kushina. Orochimaru then began to laugh at the display.
"This is too rich" he said as he produced 2 scrolls "It's not polite to insult the dead boy" he said as he went through hand signs and smeared blood onto the scrolls as he opened them "so how about to the undead" he said. "Summoning Jutsu: Reanimation" Orochimaru shouted as he slammed both scrolls into the ground and 2 coffins arose.
Jiraya, Tsunade and Itachi saw the coffins open and all looked disturbed at what they were seeing; the 2 figures walked out of the coffins and looked around.
"Where are we" asked the female.
"I don't know my love" the man said.
"You are outside Konoha" Orochimaru said gaining both their attentions "but that doesn't matter look over there" he said as both figures turned to Naruto. Naruto cursed in his mind as now his life has gotten more complicated.
"Minato; is that Naruto" the woman asked smiling and looking at the blonde boy.
"I think so Kushina" he said smiling as he is now looking at his son.
"Naruto; baby I- "Kushina began until she was hit in the chest with a Kunai from Naruto. Kushina look of happiness faded as she looked at her son face; a face of hatred and rage all of it directed at her and Minato.
"Minato Namikaze, Kushina Uzumaki; the 2 responsible for all my misery and suffering" Naruto stated as Minato was hit with a sense of fear and Kushina was now crying "I will enjoy sending you 2 back to the afterlife; knowing the one who sent you there was the child who's life you ruined" he said as his sharingan began to spin.
Cliffhanger; Ok hopefully you all enjoy this chapter. Next Chapter I will explain how Minato is there and not in the shinigami's stomach so keep your pants on; also, Naruto's left hand has the other sharingan of Obito inside of it (kinda like Danzo but just the one) so he has both MS (and yes he can use Kamui and do the shit like Kakashi can in Shippuden but I'll get to that later).
