Hello everyone I'm back once again with the final chapter of this series; I appreciate each and everyone of you for all the support for this series and I hope you all continue to support my other work. Now with all that out of the way lets end this.
Loyalty and Lies: The Final chapter
Land of Rice: 24 years after the failed invasion of Konoha
With Itachi
Itachi walked back to his small house in the land of rice as he was now done with work for the day; after his chakra was sealed and he was banished from Konoha he wandered around the country side aimlessly. A year after his lonely journey began he stumbled upon a village that was being harassed by bandits; Itachi may have had his chakra sealed but he was by no means helpless.
With his superior swordsman skills and shinobi training he killed the bandits and helped free the town; the town thanked him by giving him a small plot of land to work and live on. The rest of those 23 years flew by; he married a local girl inheriting her fathers land when he passed, he had children and had lived a mostly peaceful life.
Itachi opened the door to his small house and was immediately hugged by his youngest child Momo "daddy you're home" the little black haired girl cheered as Itachi hugged her back. Momo then let go and called out "mama, daddy is home" she called. A brown haired woman came out of the kitchen and went up to Itachi kissing him.
"Welcome home love" Asa said "how was it in the field today" she asked as Itachi smiled.
"Not to bad" Itachi said with a small smile "Sasuke and Shisui are both at the market; picking up some fresh vegetables for dinner like you asked" Itachi said as he moved to a chair and sat down.
"Those sons of ours will probably come back with the wrong ones again" Asa said knowingly "those sons of ours; they must share half a brain or something. Twins I tell you; identical in everyway including in the smarts department" Asa said which made Momo laugh. "Momo honey could you help me prepare to begin cooking" Asa said to which the young girl got up and walked to the kitchen "and you mister go take a bath; I don't want a sweaty husband at my dinner table" Asa said to which Itachi put his hands up in defense.
"Anything for you my angel" Itachi said as he saw his wife smile and walk off. Itachi got up and began to walk to the bath but stopped for a moment in front of a little table; on the table was 2 pictures, one of Itachi's best friend Shisui and one of his brother Sasuke. Itachi named his twin sons after the 2 in order to honor their memory and to have a little piece of them in his life; Itachi then looked above the table.
Above the table was his old Anbu mask and his sword; both now relics of a long forgotten time in his life. Itachi then touched his old Anbu mask and let out a sigh 'you call to me; but you always say nothing' Itachi thought. Itachi then turned around and went to wash up before dinner.
In Konoha: With Naruto
Naruto woke up and rubbed his eyes; seeing his bed was empty he got up and got dressed and exited the room. He walked to dining room to see Hinata, Hanabi and Fu setting the table "morning girls" Naruto said; Hanabi walked over to Naruto and planted a kiss on his lips and smiled when they parted.
"Morning Naru" Hanabi said to which Naruto groaned and both Hinata and Fu chuckled.
"Hanabi" Naruto whined "you're an adult and my wife; can you please stop calling me by the nickname you gave me when you were 3" Naruto asked to which Hanabi smiled and closed her eyes.
"Nope" Hanabi said simply as she went back to the table and continued setting it up. Naruto walking up to Hinata kissed her cheek which Hinata returned immediately afterward.
"Morning love" Naruto said "you got work at the hospital today" Naruto asked to which Hinata nodded.
"Yes, I got a class at 9 and another at 3; so I will be home around 6 or so today" Hinata said; Hinata after entering Tsunade's medic course all those years ago had become quite the skilled doctor along with Sai's wife Sakura.
"Best of luck honey" Naruto said slapping her butt making her 'eep' and blush a shade of red 'somethings never change' Naruto thought. Naruto walked up to Fu last; Fu then grabbed Naruto and basically shoved her tongue down his throat.
Naruto began to flail his arms around as Hanabi laughed and Hinata groaned at the display "sup' babe" Fu chirped when she disconnected from Naruto who was blushing as bad as Hinata would 20 years ago. Naruto then heard giggling from behind him; as he turned around he saw 3 children trying to hide behind a corner.
"Hikage, Kikyo, Hideyoshi; what are you 3 doing" Naruto said with a smile before getting down on his knee and opening up his arms "come here and give your daddy a hug" Naruto said before being tackled by the 3 children. When the 3 children got off him he sat up and chuckled.
Hikage who was 6 was the second child of Hinata; she had Hinata's eyes and hair but had a face like her fathers. She was usually very quiet like how her mother used to be but not as nervous and twitchy.
Kikyo who was also 6 was the only child of Hanabi; she was almost like a carbon copy of Hanabi but had her father's hair color but with a darker tint and perfectly straight.
Hideyoshi who was 8 was the only child of Fu; he had Fu's mint green hair and her eye color but had Naruto's skin complexion, he was also more wilder than his other children always pulling pranks and causing trouble for his father.
"Ok kids" Hinata called "it's time for breakfast; you can play with dad later" she said. All 3 children sat in a chair next to their respective mothers and began to eat. Naruto sat down as well and began eating; Naruto smiled at the sight of his wives and children.
When his father told him that he wanted him to start his own offshoot of the Uchiha clan he was ecstatic at the idea; then he told Naruto that he needed to take multiple wives in order to start having children Naruto became nervous. Naruto then swallowed his nerves and asked Hinata to which she agreed to help out, Naruto also asked Fu in which she agreed as well; Hanabi however volunteered herself and made a few jokes about how it was like Jiraya's books that involved stepsister type romance. Naruto not missing that made sure to tell Hanabi to hide those books from anywhere his kids could find it because he didn't want them to read smut.
"Hey dad" Hideyoshi asked which caught Naruto's attention "are you coming to my academy entrance today" he asked with stars in his eyes. Naruto smiled at his son's enthusiasm.
"Of course," he said making Hideyoshi smile "I wouldn't miss it for the world" he said smiling himself. "And you 2" Naruto said looking at Hikage and Kikyo "afterwards I'm taking you both to grandma Mikoto's for the day" he said which got cheers from both girls.
"Yay grandma" Kikyo cheered "she can help me with my fireball jutsu; I wanna make a fireball so big it makes yours look tiny" she said to which Hikage sighed.
"Can't we just go there and enjoy the tea and cookies" Hikage whined "you always want to train; you never play or relax" she said which made Kikyo huff.
"I need to get strong so I can become hokage after grandpa steps down" she said with her arms crossed "grandpa is super old and I'm going to be the one who replaces him" she said. Naruto chuckled which caught her attention.
"Sorry honey; but grandpa wants to pass it on to me soon" Naruto said which made Kikyo and everyone else look at him in surprise "father said that in 2 years' time he wants me to take over; so your looking at the future sixth Hokage" Naruto said which got immediate protest from Kikyo.
"Then I'll have to get stronger than you and when you are super old I'll become hokage" Kikyo said now standing up with her arms crossed proudly.
"That's my baby girl" Hanabi cheered making both Hikage and Hinata sweat drop at their antics.
"And when you become hokage I'll be the new Anbu commander" Hideyoshi proclaimed "I'll beat big brother and then replace Auntie Izumi and be your left hand" he said which got Fu looking at him confused.
"You mean right hand honey" Fu said to which Hideyoshi shook his head.
"Kikyo is a lefty" he said to which Fu nodded as that made sense.
"Ok everyone finish up and lets get ready to go" Naruto said to which everyone agreed.
Training ground 4
13 year old Menma Uchiha was sitting with his 2 teammates waiting for their sensei to arrive for morning training; he was the first child of Hinata and Naruto, he looked a lot like Naruto with his long blonde hair tied into a pony tail and his blue eyes. However unknown to anyone who wasn't his family or his team he had the sharingan; his was different however because it was blue instead of red and is considered a new variant of the legendary dojutsu.
"How much longer is sensei going to be" Shinji asked Menma "she was suppose to be here a while ago" he asked. Shinji Haruno was the only son of Sai and Sakura Haruno; he had pale skin like his father but dark pink hair and green eyes courtesy of his mother. He specialized in his fathers Ink jutsu style as well as his mother's use of genjutsu.
"Patience Shinji" Inori said in her monotone voice while swirling her sand around her finger "she is only 5 minutes late there is no need for a fuss". Inori was the only daughter of Gaara and Ino Yamanaka; she inherited her fathers use of sand and his red hair but got her beautiful face from her mother. Inori then got closer to Shinji and snuggled up next to him which made Shinji flinch.
"What are you doing" Shinji whispered looking around "if your father catches us, he'll crush me like a bug" he said worriedly.
"Father is over protective" Inori said with the same monotone voice "besides father is weak against women; he is scared of my mother, so if I tell her that he plans to kill you she will make him sleep on the couch" she said which did little to calm down Shinji.
"That's not the point" Shinji whined "I can't-" he began until he was startled by someone landing in front of the team.
"Still flirting with your boyfriend Inori" Hayase Uchiha said with a smirk on her face; Hayase who was 21 is the daughter of Fugaku and Mikoto, heir to the Uchiha clan and the aunt of Menma and his siblings. She looked like a young Mikoto with her long black hair and white skin; she was trained by both Mikoto and Naruto and is as powerful as Itachi was when he was in the Anbu.
Inori seeing her sensei nodded."He is still quiet scared of what my father will do if he finds out about our secret relationship" Inori said as Hayase chuckled.
"Young love such a beautiful thing" Hayase said with a small smile. "Ok you three we got a mission; a C rank" she said perking up their ears.
"What is it sensei" Menma asked his interest perked.
"We got a escort mission for a bridge builder to the land of waves" she said taking out a scroll "his name is Inari and he has asked us to protect him from bandits while on his way back home and while he's building the bridge" she finished. Her 3 genin looked ecstatic as they were finally going on a C rank mission.
'A C rank; I can't wait to tell father' Menma thought wanting to impress his father.
'Finally, I can show my stuff and kick some bandit ass" Shinji thought thinking about the action.
'A mission out of the village, with Shinji; it would be perfect for making out since he's so scared of getting caught by my father' Inori thought while rubbing her chin thoughtfully.
"Be ready to leave tomorrow for a month so say goodbye and pack your crap; we got a bridge builder to protect" Hayase said 'and a hot one at that' she thought to herself before vanishing in a swirl of leaves.
Menma and his teammates then got up and started walking back to the village to prepare for their mission.
With Fu and Hanabi
Hanabi and Fu were standing in front of the Uchiha manor with Kikyo and Hikage; when the dor opened up Mikoto with the biggest smile opened her arms "Hikage, Kikyo! Come here and give grandma a hug" she said to which both girls complied. Mikoto letting go of both her grand children then went up to Fu and Hanabi.
"My 2 beautiful daughters in law" she said as she hugged both women "how are you 2, where's Hinata" she asked to which Hikage answered.
"Mommy is doing doctor stuff" she said to which Mikoto smiled and nodded.
"Well then you are going to have to take home some cookies and tea for her then" she said as both girls cheered and went to the usual spot where they had their snacks with grandma. "Come in girl" Mikoto said to Hanabi and Fu "the more the merrier; ever since Hayase became a sensei I have been missing having girl talk" she said.
"Ok mom" Fu said skipping past Mikoto; while she may be an adult, she still has her bubbly personality.
"I'd love to mother" Hanabi said as she entered the house; Mikoto closed the door behind her and joined her daughters and granddaughters for their afternoon tea.
With Naruto, Fugaku, Gaara, Sai, and Izumi
"Gaara everything will be fine" Naruto said calming his red haired friend down "I'm sure Inori will be fine on her first mission outside the village; she'll have Hayase, Menma and Shinji there" Naruto said to which Gaara huffed.
"That's what I am worried about" Gaara said "Inori and Shinji have grown close; I do not want that boy to even touch my daughter. If he does; I'll have no choice but to dispose of him" he said to which Sai chuckled.
"Don't worry Gaara" Sai said with a smile "I have already given my son condoms just incase they get intimate; so you don't have to worry about her getting pregnant" Sai said jokingly which made Gaara only more angry.
"That's it" Gaara said standing up "I'll lock my daughter up in the house; where can I find a chastity belt to put on her" he said which got him a bonk on the back of the head by Fugaku.
"Calm down damnit" Fugaku yelled as Gaara rubbed the back of his head "you're a 32 year old man; act like a goddamn adult" he shouted before sitting back in his seat. "I'm too old for this shit" Fugaku said rubbing his hand through his greying brown hair.
"So, what did you call us in for Lord Fugaku" Izumi asked wanting to change the topic. Fugaku looked at the 4 standing before him and began to speak
"I have held the position of Hokage for 24 years now and it's time for me to pass the tourch" Fugaku said as everyone except Naruto looked surprised. "I want to name my son Naruto as the next Hokage in 2 years; and I want to know if I can count on you 3 to help me support him in this awesome duty" Fugaku said.
"Of course, I will" Sai said looking at Naruto with a genuine smile "Naruto is my brother in all but blood; I will support him in whatever he needs."
"I to will support Naruto" Gaara said "without him I would still be a mindless murder machine. I owe him for giving me the chance to meet my wife, my daughter and my new exitance here in Konoha" Gaara said.
"I have always trusted Lord Naruto from the moment I met him" Izumi said looking at Naruto " he has never led me wrong and I know he will be a great replacement and bring this village to new heights."
"Thank you all" Naruto said with a smile "I look forward to working with each one of you when the time comes" Naruto said. Fugaku smiled and spoke up.
"Thank you all for your time" Fugaku said "now could you all please leave me and Naruto" he asked to which they did and walked out. Fugaku then pulled out a bottle of Sake and 2 cups; he poured the alcohol in the cups and handed one to Naruto.
"Son" Fugaku began "none of this would've been possible if it wasn't for you. When I look at you I do not see that sad, broken orphan I found all those years ago; I see a man. A man who rose above the hatred and the prejudices of the village, a man who saved a clan from extermination, a man who will succeed his father and continue the legacy they built together" Fugaku said. Naruto let out a tear at his fathers words; he then looked at the smiling face of his adoptive father and spoke.
"Thank you father; I had nothing and you gave me everything and more. My wives, my children, my purpose; none of it would've happened if you never saved me that day" Naruto said raising up his cup and Fugaku doing the same. "Long live the Uchiha clan" Naruto proclaimed.
"Long live Konoha" Fugaku stated; both men downed their drinks and coughed as both realized it was stronger than expected. Fugaku recovering looked at Naruto and spoke.
"Now then son" he said pulling out a huge book making Naruto pale "It's time for your training to begin" he said with a devilish smile.
"Damn it" Naruto grumbled 'after all these years I have to be taught by him as an adult' Naruto thought. Fugaku then cracked open the book and slid it over to Naruto.
"We have a long way to go my apprentice" Fugaku said seriously.
"Let's begin master" Naruto said as he began reading; preparing for his new role in the legacy of the Uchiha clan.
