Recap
Last time on Tales of Tamers Xilla: The gang have made through the battle of Haven and were now preparing to borad a train to the city Argus. Once there they will grab a ship to take them to Atlas to meet with Ironwood. A long the way they discusstheir plans as Takato suggest they gather the relics and give them to Origin to keep them safe. But suddenly they were attack be a large swarm of Manticore Grimm led by a Sphinx. They were able to defeat them but more were coming as Ozpin reveal that the relic is calling for them. They were force to spilt up as one group clash in the wilds. There they confronted Ozpin about him not telling them the truth. Ozpin feels like he cannot trust anyone. Rika said if he won't give them answer then the lamp will. Oscar fought for control as he told them to speak the name Jinn. Once they did Jinn the Great spirit of knowledge appears as they ask what Ozpin was keeping from them. She show them a woman call Salem.

Chapter 55
The lost fable
Takato Pov: So, this woman is Salem, she certainly look different form what we saw back at Haven. But what does she have to do with Ozpin? "Salem lock away by her cruel father was a girl who desired but one thing freedom." Jinn said as Salem look out the window as she sat down. "She live in the world of Earthland, where Kings and their kingdoms were plentiful, when men and women were capable of greatness and magic was gift from the gods, that all could wield." She said. Salem create balls of light above her head. So, back then everyone could use magic. "And yet, there she sat within her tower." She said as the scene change. "Until one day a legendary hero came to brave the challenges with in the tower walls." She said. I saw a man with brown hair wearing green armor holing a staff. "The people of the lands know him as Ozma." She said. So this must be Ozpin in his first life. "Unlike those who came before him, this warrior was not driven by the prize, but the young maiden hand." Ozma walk through the battle field.
"He fought only for rightfulness and his pure heart and courageous soul prevailed." She said a He cam into Salem room. It then show them fighting together. "They escape the wreathen fortress and yet something bound them together. Ozma been ready to give his life for justice countless times, but now sw a woman wroth saving it for." They look at ach other. "And Salem to her surprise found the freedom not in the outside world she has yearn for, but in the eyes of the man who save her." Jinn said. "So, where shall we go now? Salem ask. "Where ever you want." Ozma said. "The two fell deeply in love, planned adventures, even join a interesting band of mages. "Jinn said as the scene show the two with a colorful group of people. 'And they live happily ever after." Jinn said. 'And here come the but." Moeru Ryu said. "or at least that what should have happen.'" The scene change to show Ozma in bed with Salem crying over him. 'Ozma the infallible hero of legend fell ill, and where all the beast and blade of the world have fallen short, a single illness prevail." She said as Ozma vanish.
"How could the gods let this happen." Salem said. "The god of light and darkness, creation and destruction. Salem prayed they would see the injustice that fallen on her belove and make thing s right." The scene change to a brightly lit up place, there were stair leading up a mountain as Salem travel up them. "The domain of light was a sacred place, it was here the elder brother the god of light dwell beside his fountain of life and creation. It was here mankind will fall to ruin." Jinn said. Salem reach the top to see flowers, a large tree above a large pool of water. Soon a golden faceless mead with deer antlers raise from the water. He must be the god of light. "Please bring him back to me?" Salem plead with the good. "I can understand your pain, I wish I could help you for all the good your guild has done for the world. But you demand of me that which I cannot make so. Life and death are part of a delicate balance. "Light said. "So, you won't do it then?" She ask shock.
"To disrupt." but she cut him off. 'That not fair!" She screams as it echos through out the domain. "Let him rest." He said as the wind pick up and Salem found herself at the bottom of the mountain. "No." She simply said as the scene change. It shows a dark and evil land, the sky's were red the ground look dead. I saw Salem going up another set of stairs. "The god of darkness, none dare to enter his home as all know what monstrosities emerge from his blacken pools of annihilation." Jinn said. I look around to see many Grimm here. So he the one who made the Grimm. Salem walk to a black pool of tar as a purple man with curve horns twisted himself out of it and face Salem. 'And sso you must understand the dark lord surprise when he found a lone woman kneeing beefore him. Salem under stood it well as she told him of her loss and prrofested that she know only he could answer her prayers. All the while careful to make no mention of his brother. I jinn said.
"Rise child and let your faith be rewarded." Darkness said as he conjure a sphere and Ozma appear. Salem knell to him. "Where am I, what going on!" He cries out in shock. "It ok, everything ok." She said. But then Light appear in a burst of thunder, even with no face I could tell he was beyond piss. "What have you done?" He ask his brother. "I done what I please Brother, you may bash in the power of creation, but you do not own it." Darkness said as the Griim move for light. "I will do what I must to maintain order." Light said as he make an orange aura on Ozma making him vanish. "No, no what did you do, bring him back!" Salem shout. "You dare enter my domain and show such disrespect." Darkness said as he made Ozma appear.. "i Am abiding on the rules we agreed upon." Light retorts. "Rules I now see are ever in your favor and yet the day a mortal came to pray at my feet before your own. So do you arrive to lay your judgment upon me!" Darkness shout as he turn into a western style Dragon.
The Grimm then attack Light only for the god to release a bright light to destroy them. When it clears Light was now a golden eastern dragon. "I know we have our differences, but I have not come here with the aim to control you. This woman came to you only after I denied her plead. That would have disrupted the balance that you and I created." Light said. Darkness look to be thinking. "Then it seem I own you an apology, allow me correct mt mistake." He said as he shot a purple beam breath and destroy Ozma. "No!" Salem cry out in horror. "You monster give him back to me!" She screams as she try to use her magic against them. But light ate her as Salem found herself until she drop into the pool of life. She then found herself on the surface. The gods were back in humanoid form. "When you first came to me, I did pity you, but it clear now that your selfishness and arrogancee have led you astray." Light said. "What did you do to me?" " She ask. ""I have made you immortal." He said. " Immortal?" She ask in confusion. "You cannot die, which mean you cannot be with the man you love. Not even thee blades of the after life protectors can end you." Darkness said. ""As long as the world exist so will you." They said. "You must learn the important of life and death, only them may you reunite with your belove." Darkness said s they send her to a field. "Salem was a prisoner once again, her fruitless attempts to reunite with Ozma became nothing more then act of spite and defiance's against the gods." Jinn as i was back in Salem.
I watch Salem try to kill her self but wasn't able to. "But perhaps the gods were not as powerful as they seemed. Salem have lied to them and made them turn against each other. she learn that they were fallible." Salem look out the window. "If she were to turn humanity against the brothers, she could rid herself of their curse. Or at the very least she could make them suffer." Jinn said. "So this is how the revolt happen that cause the primorrtal spirits to seal Spyros in the 1st Schism." I said. The next shows Salem traveling to different kingdoms talking to their leaders. "Salem travel to one kingdom to another telling tales of how she stole immortality from the gods. Welcoming any swordman to cut her down and ddeemonstated her powers witch the kings and queens watch in awe as Salem pull them into her schemes. She paint them pictures of a time when theey could no longer wwtch their lovee ones wither andd die, when they could claim the powers of their creators themselves and in turn prefect their design." Jinn said as the scene change to the domain off light. They reach the pool off life where light was in his dragon form. Soon the dragon form of darkness appear to help his brother.
"Who led you down this path!" Light demand as the army let Salem walk to them. "You!" Darkness growl. Salem sent a blast of magic at the gods as the army soon follow. . Darkness absorb the attack into a purple orb. "My own gift use against me." He said as he crush it and release a purple shockwave that cover the world killing everyone except Salem. "No!" Salem shout in shock. "You thought there was no greater punishment we could bestow upon you?" Darkness ask. "I'll come back, Ill the rest of the world of this massacre, build a new army!" She shout. The dark god shake his head. "You do not understand, there is no one left, you are all that is left of humanity. "He said. Shock by his words Salem fell to her knees. "This planets was a beautiful experiment, but it now merely a remnant of what it once was. We will learn form this failure, I hope that you will learn from yours." Light said as he vanish. "No you can't leave come back!" Salem shout. "Still demanding things of creators." Darkness said as he turn into a purple beam and shot to the sky as he end up breaking the moon. I saw the bits of the moon rain onto the planet. Salem let a scream of despair.
"Once again Salem was alone." jinn said as I watch Salem traveling the ruin world. "Salem curse the gods, the stars, everything but she never blame her self. Eventually she ffound her self back in the land of darkness in a chiff over the black pool of death and nothingness." Salem stand on top off the chiff and fall into the pool. "She thought that if the pool of life gave her immortality, then perhaps the pool of Grimm could take it away. Only it didn't rather then destroy her as she hope. The pool help turn her into a being of immortality and a desire of pure destruction." Jinn said as Salem pull her self from the pool, her skin pale, her hair pure white and her eyes red. "And it time would find her adversary." Jinn said as we come to a white void. There I saw Ozma and the god of light. "Where am I?" Ozma ask. "We are between realms, I'm afraid a tragedy has befallen your world at the hand of my brother. We have chosen to depart this world, but in our absence I would like to offer you the chancee to return to it." Light said. I "What do you mean, what tragedy?" Ozma ask. "Mankind is no more, yet your world remains, and in time your kind will grow to walk it face again. However without our presence they will be a fraction of what they once were." Light said as four object appears.
They were a staff, a sword, a crown and a lamp. "Creation, destruction, choice, and Knowldge, these are the ideals upon humanity was made. I lwill leave them behind with hope you will learn to remake yourselves." He said. "If brought together, these our relics will summoned my brother and I back to your world. and humanity will be judge. If your kind has learn to live in harmony with one other and set aside their differences then we will shal once more live among you and humanity will be whole again. But iff your kind is unchange if you demand our blessing while still fight among yourselves then man will be found inredeemable and your world will be wipe from existancee. Until your task is complete you will reincart but in a mannor that ensures you are never alone." " Light said. Ozma look to understand all of this. "I'm sorry but that world isn't as dear to me with out her is I may I rather return to the after life to reunite with Salem." Ozma said. "You will not find her there, Salem yet lives, but the woman you hold dear is no more. Heed this warning where you seek comfort you will only find pain." Light said.
"I'll do it." Ozma said. "Very well our creation rest in your hands." Light said as they vanish. Ozma has became a man with pale blonde hair who just kill a beowolf. He look to see burning village. He then saw a man getting attack as he gab a sword and slay the Grimm. "Oh thank you please tell me your name." The man said. He didn't know. The scene change to show him going down a street. Faunus were in cages and dust crystals were pile on a table. "Ozma was in a world completely unfamiliar to him. Cites look different, ceatures call Faunuss bore fangs and claws of beast were lock in cages. And with out the blessing of the gods no one could do magic. No one but himself and a woman call a witch." Jinn said as he came to a house. "During his travels, he heard tales of a terrifying sorceress who command dark powers in the wwilds among the beasts and monsters. Ozma was convince that this wwitch was Salem. And need to see what she be come." The door open to reveal Salem who glare at Ozma. But it soon soften as she recognize him. He smile as they took each other hands. "What should we do now?" He ask. "Whatever we like." She said. Over time the house was repair and the 2 sat on the porch.
"As Salem and Ozma recounted the events which brought them back together, each with held part of there stories. Salem fearing Ozma would reject her, she blame the end of the world on the gods. Ozma still unsure of what the truth is kept his task a secret. Though timee pass and all seemed was, Ozma conversation with the god of light still Linder i his mind. He found happiness, but humanity seem more divided." Jinn said. "Are you surprised, this world is quite godless. Even the spirits and soul reapers have left us. These humans have no one to guide them. Perhaps that all they need." Salem said. "What do you mean?" Ozma ask. "We could become the gods of this world, our powers surpass all others, our souls transcend death. We can mold these lands int what ever we want. What you won't create the paradise the old gods could not." She said. Ozma look on and smile. "The heart of man can easily be sway." Jinn said. The scene change showing a village under attack from a giant nevermore. It glow purple and was crush. The villagers look to see Ozma with his staff out and Salem floating down. The people bow to them. "These two amassed a great following, that following grow into a prosperous kingdom." Jinn said as showing a castle being build then a painting of the two.
'And at the head of that kingdom blossom a family." 4 little girls appear in the painting. The two watch their children playing together. They look to be happy. The scene change to show Salem looking into a crystal ball. "Are we sure this is the right thing to do?" Ozma ask. Salem look to him. "You saidd we needed to bring humanity together, in order to do that, we have to spread our word and destroy those will stand against it." Salem said. Ozma look at his reflection. "What are we doing?" It ask. "This isn't what I was suppose to do." He said to him self. "What was that?" She ask as one of their daughters came into the room. "Mother, father look what I can do." She said as she created a wisp of light in her hand. Salem smile while Ozma look worry. I 'It was a miracle, their children could perform magic. But what should have been a joyous occasion was short live." Jinn said. I saw the two talking. "Ozma told Salem everythink, the true reason the god of light brought him back, the relics that scatters around the world and the day of judgement he and been told to prepare for." Jinn said.
"Don't you see none of that matters anymore. The gods abandoned this world, why spend our lives to redeem those humans who we can replace then with something greater." Salem said. as she offers her hand. Ozma hesitated as the scene change to show him taking the children from their room. One look down the hall. "Mommy." She said as they saw Salem and boy she look piss. She shot a red beam of energy at him as Ozma shot a green one to counter. There was a flash of light as the castle was destroy and the children were kill. Ozma crawl out of the ruins as Salem walk out unharm. She kick him onto his back. "We finally had Freedom." She said as she engulf him in flames. "Thus begin a long and painful cycle of death and rebirth for Ozma." Jinn said as I saw several different lives for him. "Some lives was spent in mourning, whilee others were spent attempting to fforget his past. But no matter what his mind would evenly turn back to the task the gods had burden him with and as the centuries went on, Ozma began to learn the important of living with the souls with which he has been pair no matter where he go or how he live, Salem reach was never too faraway." Jinn said as Ozma went to fight the Grimm with his cane. "If humanity were to stand a chance at being united, one thing was clear." Jinn said as I realize what she means.
"He has to kill Salem." I said. The scene show more of his lives each taking up his cane. "Knowing he could never rid the world of Salem through any normal means, Ozma sought out the power of the relics. And with my knowledge, he believe he could fulfill his promise to the god of light." Jinn said showing Ozma talking with her. "He ask his questions for which I answer, but not all of them were to his liking." She said. "How do I kill Salem?" He ask. Jinn smirk at him. ""You can't" She said as Ozma fell to his knees as Oscar took his place as we return to the real world. Jinn went back into the lamp. "What did we all just see?" Blake ask. "The truth of everything." I said as I shake in rage. Kenji grab Ozpin by his collar. He has a look off pure fury on his face. "You fucking son of a bitch! All this time, you knew the reason why my mother was the way she is, why she hurts so many people, all because she couldn't get over you!" He scream at him. "You don't understand." Ozpin said. "Understand what, you heard what Jinn said, Salem can't die! How are we suppose to defeat someone we can't kill, what is your plan in defeating her!" Rika shout. "I I." He shutter as his eyes flash showing Oscar back. "He gone." He said as Kenji let go of him.
"What do you mean he gone?" Qrow ask. "It like he lock himself inside my head, I can't heard him. "Figures, he couldn't handle us learn the truth." Weiss said. "Oscar are you ok?" Argo ask as we notice the farm boy look scare. "I'm suppose to be the next Ozpin, but after learning what happen in the past, I don't know if I want that now." He said as he grab his head. I pat him on the shoulder. "Oscar your not Ozpin, and I promise you I'll find a way to separate you two." I said. "What right do you have to promise that Tamer of the Hazard?" A voice ask. We look to see the Digimon from Merlot Island Parallelmon. I notice he has a strange looking gauntlet on his right arm. "Parallelmon." Ruby said. "Damn, they been tracking us." Yang said. "Yes, I was, I must say from what I saw was interesting." Parallelmon said. "You saw that?" Matt ask. "Indeed, I warp when that spirit appear." Parallelmon said as he look at Oscar. "To believe the great Ozpin is the cause of so much death and you boy will cause even more, it your fate to become Ozpin." He said. "No I." Oscar said as he panic. "Stup your damn mouth!" Argo shout. We look at her. "There no just thing as fate, we decide who we are, Oscar can chose his own path, he doesn't have to be Ozpin." She said. "That right, leave Oscar alone you big bully!" Herissmon shout.
"I say we take this jerk out." Vorvomon said. "Oh I won't be fighting you, see I brought you a playmate, come Kimeramon!" Parallelmon shout as a large figure drop in front of us. It chest was that of a Greymon with Garurumon legs and a Monochromon tail. it has the arms of a Kuwagamon,, a Devimon and a Skullgreymon. On it backs were the wings of an Angemon and a Airdramon. It head was that of a Kabuterimon. I check my D-arc. "[Kimeramon ultimate level mutant Digimon. A monster form from the parts of other Digimon, it will destroy anything in his path with his heat viper attack.] I said. "Man, that is ugly." Yang said. "Doesn't matter let get him." Hackmon said. "Heat viper!" He shout as he counter with a green flame blast. "Meteor flame!" Saviorhackmon shout as he fire several fire balls at him. Kimeramon try to reach for him. "Flower cannon!" Lillymon shout as she blast him in the face. "Nitro stinger!" Cannonbeemon shout as she shot the monster in the back. "Heat viper!" Kimeramon shout as he blast the bee Digimon back. Ladydevimon try to slash at him only to get slap by his claw. "Lunatic dance!" Cresenmon shout as she slashes at his side. "Animal nail!" Pandamon shout as he strike the other side. Kimeramon shout as he slap them back. "Wild blast!" Lavogaritamon shout as he shot his flame breath at him. "Heat viper!" Kimeramon shout as he counter and blast him down. "Finish this Kimeramon so we may recover thr relic." Parallelmon said. as the mutant march for us. But Oscar stand up and block his path.
"Oh little Ozpin want to play?" He ask. Oscar glare at him. "It rue, I may become Ozpin one day, but that doesn't mean Ill ever be like him. So, he made mistakes it will be up to me to make up for them!" He shout. "Everyone deserve a second chance." Herissmon said. "We won't let fate decide who are!" They shout as a blue card appear in Oscar pocket as he pull it out. "Let do this Herissmon!" Oscar shout. "Yeah!" He shout. "Digi-modify Matrix Digivolvtion activate!" Oscar shout as he swipe the card through his D-arc.

Stefilmon was a large bulky hedgehog man with white fur wearing black pants and boots. He has long orange hair and red spikes coming out of his shoulders an two long white ones on his knuckles. A warrior with the power off a raging tornedo, he will tear you apart with his giga crimson dive and vermillion vortex attack.] To think the little cutie can turn into that." She said with a grin. "Go Stefilmon!" Oscar shout. "You can count on me." He said. "Destroy them!" Shout Parallelmon.
Stefilmon vs Kimeramon
Kimeramon charge at the beast man trying to slash him with his claws. But Stefilmon dodges every strike as he slams his fist against the mutant stunning his arms. "Vermillion vortex! Stefilmon shout as he shot his spikes as they cut up Kimeramon body. The monster roars. 'Heat viper!" He shout as he shot flames at Stefilmon. The beast men jump into the air. "This is for trying to hurt my friends! Giga crimson dive!" Stefilmon shout as he spun and drill through Kimeramon chest. The mutant cries out as he was dissolve into data. But the data didn't vanish it was pull into the gauntlet on Parallelmon arm. "Well done Tamers, lord Grimmon was right to be wary of you. We'll be watching you." He said as he vanish. The Digimon turn back to normal. Oscar pick up Herissmon. "Way to go Oscar. "Argo said as she pat him on the back. "Thanks, it was thanks to you guys for believing in me. "He said. " What was that device Parallelmon use to collect Kimeramon data?" Renamon ask. "Not sure what ever it is it not good." Rika said. "You kids can worry about it later, my bones are shaking, a storm is coming." Maria said. "She right, best we get moving and find shelter." I said as we got moving. Everything we learn today, what does this mean for us.
