Thousands of years ago, a warlord known only as Demiurge arrived on Earth. He sought to turn the native Mammals into his slave soldiers, existing only to conquer and slaughter in his name. The first was a vampire bat who would only be remembered as the Ancient One. The Ancient One raised an army strong enough to cast Demiurge back into the void.

For ten-thousand years. Demiurge continued his conquest of the galaxy. His defeat on Earth was always at the back of his mind, the very mention of the Ancient One in any context sent him into a blind fury. He had a line of thralls breed specifically to remind him as often as possible about his defeat those long millennia ago.

Then one day... he learned something. That Earth was ready to be conquered a second time. This time however would be different. Even with the advances the Vampire Cabals enabled for Mammals as a whole. He had the resources of an entire galaxy to secure his vengeance.

Even with earlier victories for the Mammals that no one in his inner council could explain. Demiurge's fleet was still on the way to Earth, intending to conquer the planet once and for all.

Demiurge looked out of the bridge of his flagship, the dreaded Blood Star. "At long last... vengeance, shall be mine."

It was a lazy day at the ZPD, all seemed at peace for once. No serious crimes to report, no super crimes underway, and not even someone complaining about a parking ticket. All except for one thing.

"Come on Judy, I was at your wedding." Benjamin Clawhauser complained.

"And you want to come to Angela and Loki's because you want to cheat on your diet... again," Judy said. "Remember Davies's wedding? You cleaned out the buffet after that stunt with Long-Fang."

"I was shocked that happened!" Benjamin said defensively.

"You knew that Draco was vaccinated," Judy said in annoyance. "Point is. You have an eating disorder, and I'm nobody is going to enable your bad habits."

Benjamin grumbled as he went back to work. What little there was to do at any rate.

Meanwhile, at the headquarters of the International Defence League. Future Nick and Future Judy looked at the transmissions from space of the approaching fleet. "The board is set... the pieces are moving. We've come to it at last." Future Judy said.

"The great battle of our time." Future Nick said. "Judy... all I need to know is, are we prepared for this?"

"We have access to virtually every weapon of mass destruction on the planet. Most of Earth's superheroes are at our beck and call, the rest will have a vested interest in protecting the world. Armies of clones, robots, and government militaries." Future Judy said. "Not to mention that his advanced fleet of Berserkers was destroyed before they could make planetfall."

"Obviously... but do we have an actual plan here?" Future Nick said. "All the strength in the world isn't going to do much good without a plan."

"We wait until Demiurges fleet is within striking distance of Earth. Then we hit them with everything we've got. If there are any surviving ships. We pick them off as the land. And if Demiurge himself shows... I'll take him on personally." Future Judy said.

"And if you can't?" Future Nick asked.

Future Judy's good eye bulged. "Oh... pellets, I didn't think of that."

Late at night, Draco Long-Fang was on his laptop. Contacting the Blood Sun. "My Lord Demiurge-"

"Just Demiurge." Demiurge interrupted. "Now I got your data. Is this everything on Earth's defensive capabilities?"

"Everything I was able to get. I could only get so much information from the Unseen Eyes, without them noticing anything was wrong." Draco said.

"It'll have to do, my fleet's almost at Earth. And knowing of these can yet ensure my domination of the Earth." Demiurge said.

"And you'll keep your word?" Draco asked.

"To give you the Prime Strigori virus. And after all you've done to help me, you're going to become the ruler of Earth when this planet is finally subdued." Demiurge said.

"And enable me to re-establish my family?" Draco asked.

"Whatever, just do your part. And I'll make sure that you get what you deserve." Demiurg said, the call between them ended.

Then the manager of Bugga Burger found Draco. "Alright, your breaks over."

"Yes, Mrs. Mousekewitz," Draco said as he rolled his eyes, returning to his new job of making burgers. "Patience Draco... patience..."

Two weeks later, the Blood Sun hung in orbit of Earth, as his fleet was being peppered by fire from the IDL. "Let loose your arrows... you're just wasting yourselves. Have the dropships along with fighter escorts capture and secure every defensive outpost. They're relatively small, so even if there detected. They can't be hit by the defensive emplacements."

"As you will, Demiurge." An aid said. "Thankfully, we have more than enough reserves, even with the destruction of the Berserkers."

"Yes... and finally. This galaxy will be mine in full... every... single... PLANET. Under my heel!" Demiurge said with a clenched fist.
