Chapter 6
"Morning Angus" Merida called as she walked up to the stable, Angus poking his head out as the princess arrived and stroked his happily.
"Ok boy" she laughed as Angus sniffed her red hair. "I'll clean your stable while you enjoy some oats" Merida put oats into his trough before she clean the old straws, wash the dirt with and then grabbed some clear straws.
As she put the third barrel of straws down, Merida suddenly heard a knock on one of the side of the stable. Raising a eyebrow, Merida walked over to check. It might be just a mouse or a rabbit or even the boys. Merida just turned to her horse when...
"SURPRISE"
Merida let out a scream and jumped a foot in the air. Catching her breath, she steadying herself against the wall before she turned to see Hiccup laughing.
"What was that for?" Merida said crossly.
"Pay back for the arrow the other day" Hiccup simply answered. Lending against a post.
She remembered about her ticking him with the feature down of a arrow. The angry then leave her and had to smile. "Ok I'll let this go, this time"
Hiccup returned the smile before he ask. "I thought you would have someone else cleaning for you"
"They are but I preferred doing it, I really do enjoy it" Merida replied before she went to fetch some more oats with Hiccup followed.
"So, do you fancy going out later. I still need to test Toothless's tail" Hiccup asked as Merida lifted a bag onto her shoulder.
"Ok I love to, only if" Merida smirk.
"If what?"
"If you let me fly Toothless myself" She asked, she kind of expected him to say no but to surprised he said.
"Ok but I need to be up there with you, to showing you how to work his tail" Hiccup said. He then tried to pick up a bag but it was too heavy for him. The princess could see him struggling and before she could stop him, Hiccup manage to lift it but fell down by the weight.
"Hiccup!" Merida cried, she instantly lifted the sack off him and toss it away. "Hiccup, you're all right"
"Yeah, I'm fine" Hiccup coughing weakly "it was a lot heavier than I thought"
"Well maybe just leave the heavy lifting to me" Merida said as she helped Hiccup back on his feet.
"I just wanted to help. you know, helping a fair maiden" Hiccup said rubbing his neck. Merida would had rolled her eyes at this but knowing he just wanted to help, it didn't bothered her much.
"I know and I thank you want, you can get some water. That would be a big help" Merida said.
"Ok, I'll get on that" Hiccup said and set off. Merida smile to him before walking back to her horse. She had to admit, she was really enjoying having Hiccup around. It had been nearly a week since they met and they already became friends. She knew she would miss him when he returned home. Merida was busy feeding Angus when Hiccup came back with the water.
They saddle the horse and headed to find Toothless.
"Where should we go to test the tail" Merida asked as waiting for Hiccup to fastened the dragon's tail.
"Well we should find high ground to have a launch point" Hiccup explained as he finished then Toothless bounds over to the princess who giggle and stroke him.
"We could try mountain next the Raven's tooth, that would be a perfect spot for flying" Merida said.
"Raven's tooth, that's what you've climbed and drank from the dragon's falls"
"Fire falls and yes did" Merida corrected before she climbed up on Angus then an idea popped into her head "fancy a race"
"Well We haven't be there yet so I don't know where..."But as he spoke,Merida was already riding ahead. "And she's gone" Hiccup sighed and climbed quickly on Toothless's back. "Come on Bud, let's show them what we can do" the duos race off to catch up with the princess and her horse.
Merida turned and grinned when she saw Hiccup and Toothless behind. She then leaned closer to her horse's ear. "Time to show what real riding looks like" she said. Merida and Angus then jumped over a huge log and then dodge toward the trees. Hiccup and Toothless followed behi them, they could had easily fly over her but Hiccup wanted to win fair and square, it wasn't until Hiccup spied a stone path ahead.
"Ok bud, hope this will get us in front" and sprinted up the path. The Redhead was having a great time. She couldn't remember the last time she had so much fun. Merida turned to see how far Hiccup was but saw he and Toothless wasn't there, she halted Angus on the spot.
"Where did they go? Merida murmured and just before she could ride back when she heard something from above. She glanced up just as Hiccup and Toothless jump off a small cliff, Merida stared in awe as they glided downward. When the boy and his dragon touch the ground, they sprinted down the path.
"Keep up Mer" Hiccup shouted to Merida. She grinned and chased after them. They were neck in neck at they reach the Raven' Tooth, Merida and Angus was now ahead and she could see the waterfall when suddenly Angus stopped and send her flying off.
"MERIDA!" She heard Hiccup cried. Merida shut her eyes waiting for the impact. Hiccup and Toothless had raced, jumped and catch the princess before she hit the hard ground. When she felt that anything had stopped, Merida opening her eyes to find herself being held by Hiccup.
"You're ok, Mer" Hiccup asked her, checking she was ok. Merida blushed slightly, she could feel that strange feeling again. Why was this feeling appeared when she was around Hiccup.
"Good, I good" Merida managed to say. Before Hiccup could say a word, they heard Angus's cry in pain and saw him limping. "Angus" Merida said concerned, she quickly jump off the dragon and rushed to him. She check all over her horse while soothing him, she soon found that Angus had broken his leg against a huge rock at path and end up stuck. He did manage to free himself but Merida could see Angus has a horrible gash that ran deep.
"Is he alright?" Hiccup asked, he and Toothless cord up with Merida as she held her beloved horse's leg.
"Oh Angus" Merida said and hugged her horse's head. They were miles from the castle and the wound would get worst if it did get help first. Merida then heard rustling, she looked up to see Hiccup looking toward his bag.
"Hiccup, what are you doing" she asked as Hiccup pulled out a long cloth and jars. Merida stepped aside, letting Hiccup approach Angus. He kneeled down in front the leg, he dab a wet cloth but Angus backed off slightly. "It's ok, lt's OK" Hiccup said soothing, stroking his nose. Angus grew calmer, letting Hiccup clean his wound. After this, he put some strange blue goo on the leg and wrap the long cloth around.
"What's that?" Merida asked when she saw the goo.
"Tide Glider spit,It mite be gross but it's great for healing cuts and scratches" Hiccup explained to Merida as his finishing wrapped. "We use it for are dragons,There" he smiled as the Horse sneath his bandage leg. "Just rest it for a week and you'll be ok" Hiccup told Angus. it was there, Hiccup looked up and Angus pressed his head to Hiccup and gently sneath him."Oh your very welcome" Hiccup answered and patted the horse head
Merida couldn't stop herself from smiling. Normally Angus would never let other people heal him, she mostly handle that but Hiccup could calm him and heal him without any problem"
"You truly have a gift with animals" Merida smiled and Toothless purred to agrees.
"Well, I think you're right" Hiccup replied bashfully, rubbing the back of his neck.
After finding a meadow for Angus to rest. They headed up the mountain (made easy by flying on Toothless). Hiccup began teaching Merida how to operate the tail fin.
"This makes it open and close" Hiccup explained moving the foot pedal. "And, if you do this, you can turn in any direction" he moved the pedal clockwise, making the fin rotate in a circle.
Merida listened intently, hoping she'd remember what to do. Then Hiccup asked her to sit at the front of the saddle. He watched her as she slipped her foot into the pedal, he carefully sat behind her but he tried not to get too close to her.
"Well when you're ready, we can take off" Hiccup said seeing the eagerness on her face.
"OK Toothless" Merida said to the dragon, patting him on his side. "Let's go". Toothless waste no time, in an instant he shot into the air. They climbed higher and higher until Hiccup told him to hover.
"Now you have to work together to fly" Hiccup said "When you want to turn, you just switch your foot".
"Like this" Merida said and moved her foot so it operated the fin.
"Good, good" he said with a smile at Merida "Now let's try turning around".
"Ok?" Merida asked she moved the fin and Toothless turned and flapped his wings and soared skywards. They continued on flying for a long time, Merida was starting to get tired and wanted to some excitement, she also wanted to show off to Hiccup. She planned to try to do a somersault, then three barrel rolls and end with flying toward the trees.
"Good, now we're going to try a gentle glide" Hiccup instructed.
"Actually, we should try this" Merida replied and turn the tail. Before Hiccup could react, they were driving quietly downward.
"Merida, what are you doing" Hiccup cried as Merida tried to stop.
"I...I was just" Merida said but was cut short when suddenly she became unhooked and was sent off flying the saddle screaming.
"Merida!" Hiccup cried, he sprang into action. Sliding to the front and quickly putting his foot into the pedal. The princess saw the world going round and round as she spiralling out of control. She felt as if she could fall forever, thoughts of her family flashed into her mind and of course Hiccup. She was too deep in her thoughts about not saying goodbye, so Merida was taken aback when Hiccup and Toothless caught her, Hiccup grabbed her and held her tightly as Toothless quickly landed in a nearby clearing.
Hiccup got off Toothless's back and breathed a sigh of relief, Merida was really excited and she was restless, she jumped about, laughing, making Hiccup and Toothless watch her in stunned silence.
"I flew, I actually flew!" Merida said gleefully, still laughing but she slowly came to a stop and her world began to spin. "I don't feel right" she murmured, she stumbled downward and lost her balance.
"Merida" Hiccup said quickly catching her in his arms. He tried to hold her up but he was struggling. Merida felt weak, she could barely keep her eyes open. When her eyes landed on Hiccup, she could see a soft glow around him and noticed Hiccup's green eyes. His eyes were as green as spring grass or green leaves in the sunlight.
"Such beautiful eyes" she said dreamily, then Merida passed out.
Hiccup was dumbstruck. Here he was, holding an unconscious princess in the middle of nowhere.
"What do I do? What do I do" Hiccup murmured, panicking. He looked over to Toothless who just shrugged.
Merida slowly opened her heavy eyes and she could feel Toothless's scales. Her mind was still a bit fuzzy, but she soon remembered what happened. She slowly sat up and could see Hiccup poking a small fire with a stick.
"Hiccup" Merida said, Hiccup turned and smile to her.
"W...what happened" Merida asked rubbing her head. She then heard the dragon purring softly he licked her cheek, she chuckled and rubbed his head.
"Well after we landed you…, then fell asleep, so Toothless and I decided to let you rest" Hiccup explained, he didn't want to say that she fainted because he didn't want to embarrass her.
"Oh" Merida said, she rubbed her arm before she said nervously. "Hiccup, I'm...I'm sorry about before. I just wanted to show you what I could do" she did expect him to tell her off, but...
"The next time you want to show off, just warn me" Hiccup said and gave her a reassuring smile. He understood why she did it, flying was incredible feeling and a it was only normal to get over excited. Merida felt relieved. She was used to being told off, mostly for silly little things so it was a nice change that someone was not lecturering her.
After Hiccup gave Merida some water and rested, all three set off. Hiccup subjected going on foot back, Merida understood why, even know it were be longer.
"So which way should we go?" Hiccup asked after an hour. Merida had been around a most of Scotland but she never been this far. So she didn't recognise where they were. Merida spotted a pile of stones that led to high ground.
"Well, let's try up here" Merida said and started to climb. She easily navigate the rocks, she was half way when she turned to see Hiccup struggling. Toothless was helping him, pushing Hiccup upward. Merida climbed back to them and reached her hand to Hiccup. "here"
Hiccup gratefully took her hand and they continue up. They had finally reached the top, they could only see the forest that went on miles. Hiccup the spotted a river that snaked across the ground.
"Look,If we follow that river, we'll could find a way back" he explained, pointing down to the river.
"Oh I think that leads to the salmon river I show you two the other day" Merida added grinning, now seeing a way home. Toothless also nodded and quickly ran ahead. The teens turned to follow the dragon.
"Hopefully we'll be back to the castle before they send a search party" Hiccup mentioned to Merida.
"Oh don't worry, I would be worry about my mum would think if-" suddenly the ground crumbled underneath Merida and Hiccup and send them falling into darkness. The two cried as they fell, both didn't how deep the hole was. Luckily, they landed in a huge deep pool of water. They quickly surface and have a good look around.
To their surprise, the water was glowing clear blue. With the light from the hole, the walls were covered with crystals. All different shapes and colours glittering like stars.
"I never knew something like in Scotland" Merida said in awe.
"Yeah but how are we going to get out" Hiccup mentioned, looking up at the hole they fell toward. It was so high up and there was no way to climb up. Toothless poke his head and groaned to them. "We're ok bud" Hiccup reassured his friend. Merida and Hiccup swam to shore, Merida helped Hiccup pulled himself out. They tried to dry their clothes before looking up to the Night Fury.
"It looks like we have to find a way out" Hiccup called out to Toothless. "Can you drop my bag down here" he then said, he could hear rustling above then the dragon drop a bag from his mouth into the hole. Luckily, the bag landed near the teens's feet. "Thanks bud" Hiccup said picking up his bag.
"You better find Angus, we'll meet you outside" Merida added. Toothless purred and headed to find the horse. "Is there anything we can use to help us" She asked as Hiccup checked his bag.
"Yeah when you have a dragon and you end up in new and dangerous places. You need to be prepared" Hiccup explained. He slipped the bag over his shoulder. Merida then spotted an opening so they headed forward.
They way was lit for them by the crystals, shining pink, blue, green and purple. They wonder toward the stone path that was like a maze.
The cavern remained Merida of when she and her mum ended up in the old kingdom that Mor'du came from. Of Course, this place was more bright and colourful.
"Mer, Do you think there may be dragons in here?" Hiccup asked Merida after an hour walking.
"I don't know" Merida replied, letting her fingers rubbed against a large green jewel "I don't think there had been a dragon in Scotland at all"
"Uh, I wonder why" he said as they turned a corner.
"Maybe, there were dragons but they mite had been hunted down or they ended up moving from here to another land centuries ago" She voiced her thought.
"Yeah you could be right, probably they..." But Merida stopped him by putting her arm in front of him. Before he could said anything, he heard a soft sound. Hiccup turned and saw the blue flame creature he seen days before.
"A Willow of the Wisp" Merida softy spoked.
"It's that.." Hiccup murmured. Seeing now that what he and Toothless saw were the same spirits that Merida talked about in her story. "You think it want us to follow it" he asked and then as if to answer his question, more wisps appeared and they showed the teens down a pathway.
"They do, they showing us to way out" Merida said, hoping she was right and they weren't heading into trouble. Wasting no time, the two followed the wisps. After taking a few turns and climbing down by the waterfall. Merida and Hiccup found themselves standing above a large pool. Across from them, they spotted a wisp flowing on a small low ledge.
"Ok they wants us to go down there, over a possibility deep lake that has no way out" Hiccup commented dryly, looking over the edge at the lake.
"Well it must to do with going out" Merida replied looking at the wisp. "Only if we can reach it" Hiccup was about to asked her about the wisps when he notices a small crack in the wall of the other side, he then looked over his shoulder to a red jewel near the entrance. An idea formed into his head.
"Mer, could you shoot a arrow in that crack, over there" Hiccup asked pointing to the other side. Merida looked to where Hiccup was talking about.
"Aye, I can. Why?" Merida question as Hiccup began looking forward his bag and pulling out a long rope.
"I just found a way across" Hiccup said with a confident smile. "Can I have an arrow" Merida at first, wouldn't quite sure what Hiccup was up to but it soon came to her.
"Ok" she said and handed him one of her arrow. She took her bow off her shoulder as Hiccup tied one end of the rope to the arrow.
He handed it back and Merida fastened it to the bow. She focus on the crack before letting go and hit squarely into the crack.
"Now can I have your bow" Hiccup then asked.
"Ok" Merida, not sure why. She gave Hiccup her bow, Hiccup threaded the bow on to the rope and then tied it to the crystal, making sure it is tight.
"Right, rope holding well. Plenty of room for two. Hoping not to die" Hiccup said mostly to himself, holding Merida's bow still. He steady it on rope, trying to keep it straight. "Ok, Here we go, Merida put an arm around me"
"What!" Merida exclaimed back off slightly. It wasn't because of Hiccup's plan, it was the thought of being close to a boy. Of course she was use to being around boys like her former suitors but being around Hiccup, she could feel butterflies in her stomach.
"Merida, we both need to hold on if we want to escape" Hiccup explained, he didn't understand why Merida was acting strange.
"Hiccup it just...I.."Merida can't find the words, her mind was blank. He could see how unsure she nervous.
"Merida, you can do this, trust me" Hiccup said softly. Holding out his hand to her.
Merida all ready trusted him and needed to push her fears aside. She breathed deeply and took his hand. He pulled the princess next to him and kindly place his arm around Merida's waist. Merida was trying to calm her beating heart before she grabbed the bow and she put her arm around his waist.
"Ok we run on three" Hiccup said, both of them getting into running positions. "One...two...Three" Hiccup and Merida sprinted as fast as they could, then jumped when they reached the edge. They zipped down toward the other side but a thought came to her. How are they going to stop.
"Hiccup.." Merida trying to said but they saw the wall coming toward them. Merida and Hiccup let out cries and shut their eyes, waiting for the impact. What they didn't know was that the arrow that Merida shouted went in deep into the stone and it wear the all ready weak wall. So instead of collided into the wall...BANG. They burst right through. The two was flying metre in the air, landed and rolled on the soft grass.
Toothless and Angus happen to be walking, tracking their friends when they saw what happened. Hiccup and Merida came rolling until they stop, everything was still spinning so they breathed, looking up at the orange-pink sky.
The teens notices they should see the Raven's tooth and the Fire falls. They fall right inside the mountain that the Fire falls and traveled through the bottom. Surprisingly both of them didn't end up with any injuries. Merida then heard a weak laugh, she turned and found Hiccup laughing. At first, Merida wonder what he found so funny. Then it came to her, they were alive ever know they could had died.
Merida started to laugh with him. They were laughing their heads off which made the horse and the dragon gave confusing looks.
Hiccup and Merida turned on their side, faceing each other. Hiccup opened his eyes to see Merida's beautiful face, Merida did the same thing and found herself looking his green eyes. They slowly stopped laughing, they seem into hypnotised by each other.
Merida could have sworn to see a golden glow around him and she could feel her heart beating. Hiccup's mind was blanked, only thought about Merida swam in his brain. Both didn't know how long they were but they came back to reality when Toothless growled. Hiccup and Merida slowly sat up to see the Night fury sniffing Merida's bow that broke into pieces, know Merida didn't care. She and Hiccup was still fussing.
"We...we should get home" Merida managed to said before she climbed on Angus's back.
"Yeah, let's go" Hiccup agreed. The dragon wondered why Hiccup was so space out as he got on his back.
The journey home was eerily quiet. The teens didn't said a word. Angus and Toothless were really concerned for their friends. They shared looks to one another, not having a clue. Hiccup and Merida remained like this when they arrived. Hiccup did said goodnight to the dragon but still Toothless could tell Hiccup wasn't himself. Angus didn't know what to do with Merida, he never saw like this before. The horse watch the teens leave after they brought him to his stable, Toothless and Angus wouldn't the only ones who was worried about them.
Elinor and Furgus notices they odd behaviour, more for Merida because she wasn't normally this quiet. All front dinner, the couple give each other worry glances. Wondering if the teens had a fight or something, the queen wanted to ask both of them but decided to wait until tomorrow to question them.
Merida couldn't sleep. She'd been lying awake in bed for three hours or so. She stared up at the ceiling, waiting for sleep to come, but it hadn't happened. Merida's mind was going round and round about the strange feelings.
Merida sat up and decided to go and see Hiccup. She didn't know why but it just felt right. She wrapped a blanket around her shoulders and headed to his door. Even though it was dark, Merida managed to find it. When she got there she reached out her hand but hesitated, should she talk to him? Should she go to her mum instead?
She took a deep breath and knocked three times.
"Oh, hang on" she heard Hiccup call. He opened the door and was surprised to see the princess. "Mer, has something happened?" he asked. Wondering why she was still up.
" , I couldn't sleep" Merida reassured him then asked "Can I come in, just for a moment?"
Hiccup didn't know what to say but he wasn't going to turn her away.
"Sure. By all means" Hiccup said. He stood aside to let her in. Hiccup couldn't sleep nether, so seeing Merida was a nice surprise.
Merida sat on the bed and Hiccup sat next to her. The two didn't know what to say, so they sat in silence for a long time. They were both trying desperately to break the awkward silence when a thought popped into their heads. They both took a deep breath and spoke at the same time.
"Can I ask you something" they stopped and then chuckled.
"Sorry, you go first" Hiccup said being polite.
"No, you go first" Merida said as she played with ends of the blanket.
"Ok, well…" Hiccup took a moment before saying "I'm going to miss it here. Even though Toothless and I came here by accident, we've had a great time".
"I'm glad to hear that" Merida said, then added "And my mum would be happy to hear that too" she said grinning.
"Yeah, she would" Hiccup agreed.
They smiled at each other then Merida asked.
"I hope you come back one day. You and Toothless" Merida looked up at his perfect green eyes.
"Yeah, definitely and if you'd like to, I'd like to take you to my home one day " Hiccup said as he rubbed his neck nervously. He didn't know why he'd said that, it just felt right.
"Honestly" Merida replied with joy in her blue eyes.
"Yeah. I'll take you there, I can even show you the cove were I helped Toothless" Hiccup said inching a bit closer to the princess.
"Yes I love that. Thank you Hic" Merida said slightly inching closer to Hiccup.
"Well. You're...you're welcome Mer" Hiccup said softly. He could feel that feeling again and it was getting to him. He wasn't too certain what it was, but he needed to be sure.
Merida could see Hiccup coming to her, She felt her heart beating fast. She would have told him to stop but she didn't really want him to, she found that she was leaning in too. They were nearly touching as Hiccup opened his eyes and realised what's happening.
"I CAN'T...I..I CAN'T" Hiccup cried, standing up and walking a few feet away.
"W…what's wrong?" Merida questioned suddenly confused, standing up, looking at the boy. "Was it something I did?"
"No, no. You're perfect" Hiccup couldn't look at Merida, he hated lying to her and worst of all, he was falling for her. He couldn't hold the secret of who he was anymore, even if it killed him.
"Merida. I need you to know the truth, about me" Hiccup managed to say.
Merida had no idea what going on with him. The only thing she could do was listen.
Hiccup took a huge breath, in an effort to gain control his nerves before speaking. "Merida, I have told you a lot about me. My past, my home, my dad. But I left something out, something I know wouldn't be good, especially here. I'm so sorry I kept it from your people, your family and you" his shut his eyes and took a other breath. "It's just ...I'm a Viking".
"What?" Merida's eyes widened, and her mouth dropped.
"And to make things worse, my dad is Stoick the Vast. Hiccup continued holding his arms, feel awful any second. I didn't want to lie but I didn't know what else to do"
Merida couldn't believe what she was hearing. Hiccup. A Viking. He looked nothing like one and furthermore he was related to the infamous Stoick the Vast that she'd heard of. She wondered if he was making a joke, but she could hear the pain in his voice. It all made sense to Merida. She knew Hiccup had to be a Viking.
"I hoped to leave and that no one would know, even though I've grown to like it here, I've enjoyed being with your family, their hospitality and..." Hiccup felt a tears running down his cheeks "and I've fallen for the princess"
Merida's breath caught in her throat, she could feel her heart swelling up with joy.
"I don't deserve to look on your beauty" Hiccup suddenly said which made the redhead blush. "So go on, do it, kill me now" he added getting down on his knees" so this all could end" , he shut his eyes, fully prepared for it.
"I'm not going to" Hiccup's eyes shot open when Merida spoke. He slowly turned, looking up to see her face, she was not angry or hurt but compassionate.
"I'm not going to kill you, because I understand why, I would have done the same thing. I also wanted to meet an actual Viking face to face" . Merida said softly. The boy's fears slowly disappeared. "I know you are a good person, you're kind, clever and selfless. You wouldn't come here to hurt anyone and that... that's what I like about you" Merida confided. Hiccup stood up slowly, still looking at her.
"To be honest Hic, since you came, I started feeling these emotions I've never have before and it terrifies me, I didn't know what to you and I didn't know if you felt the same" she continued, her eyes fix on her feet " because I fought to get out of marriage, I haven't got a clue and..." She suddenly noticed while she was speaking Hiccup had quietly walked up to her.
They didn't say a word, but they didn't need to. Merida could feel her heart leap when Hiccup give her a warm smile. Their hands naturally intertwined together, the young Viking softy placed a hand on the Princess cheek. She felt a shot of lightning go through her and she wanted to show him how she feeling. She hesitated but then leant in, Hiccup too wanted to show his love and wanted to do it right.
He leant forward until they lips met. For them, it felt like a dream. Merida loved the gentle and soft his lips were. Hiccup could taste the sweet apples and cakes on her lips. It felt like time was standing still when they kissed it feel like magic, until the spell was broken and they both pulled back.
Merida never expected to ever have a first kiss. She would have slapped any man who'd even try to kiss her, but Hiccup was different. Hiccup felt the heat on his face, he was relieved that Merida not only understood him but liked him the same way. He saw the dream like look on her face.
"So was it anything you like you'd imagined" Hiccup asked moving his thumb over her knuckles.
"No, it was better" Merida replied and pulled Hiccup into another kiss. Hiccup was surprised but melted by her touch. They wrapped their arms around each other as they continued to kiss.
Neither of them realised how much this moment would change their lives, and everyone else's too.
