Kioshi felt a little nervous seeing his father slapping his mother … he knew that he would never do that to Anna because he loved her and she would never cause such problems … he was thankful he had a good wife like Anna

Yasushi: ah … she shall stand trial without a lawyer because I won't be paying for that … if she wants one, she can use her own money … and if she has to pay any penalties, she would do it with her money as well!

Yasushi: I hope that court trial happens soon, so I can decide how to handle things from there … again, I won't ask you to go easy on her … and I'm sorry for everything you suffered … I would force her to apologize, but I don't think there is a point if she doesn't even mean it … she will soon, and I will make sure of that
With that, the meeting ended … with Yasushi and Anna exiting the room after apologizing one more time
Saena and Todoh left the room soon after … Yasushi was standing on the side comforting his daughter in law … he told her that he will have Nanami apologize and that she can still work for him … and offered that he would transfer her and Kioshi somewhere else if they are adamant on moving away
When Yasushi spotted Saena, he approached her and apologized once again, explaining that he didn't do enough back then … he told her that he tried to figure out who she was but the law firm she worked for didn't disclose anything … he felt ashamed that he let all this happen to them and promised that he would remain far away from them as to not cause any discomfort
At this point, Kyoko exited Katagiri's office and ran to her mother's side to see Anna and an older man … so she paused for a minute, before walking forward
Ren had followed her all the way, he was supportive and didn't stop her from doing whatever she wanted to do
Kyoko: Mom!
Saena looked back and said: are you ok?
Kyoko: I'm fine, you?
Saena smiled and said: I'm ok!
Kyoko nodded, then looked at Anna and the older man and said: Thank you!
Yasushi: your Mogami-san's daughter, right?
Kyoko looked at her mother who nodded and said: I'm Mogami Kyoko, Nice to meet you!
Anna bowed respectfully but said nothing … since she had already met Kyoko with Hiroki before
Yasushi: It's nice to meet you too … I'm Miyasaki Yasushi … I'm sorry for everything you faced because of my wife … please rest assured that I wish to respect your decision!

Kyoko: I would disagree … I think that you deserve respect because you're older and that you respect us and our decisions
Saena: I agree … you shouldn't lose respect because of what they have done … we respect anyone willing to respect us and stand with the truth
Yasushi nodded, then said: that's very kind of you!
Anna came closer and put her hand on Yasushi's shoulder … she knew he had a soft side and that he might be struggling with himself given he feels guilty toward them
Yasushi: I honestly tried to reach out to you after what happened, but my letter was returned to me … however, I didn't make any further attempts, because I wasn't sure I had the right to
Todoh: it had tried to reach her through our previous company, then they might have returned it … due to the cover-up, they tried to cut all ties to it, and erase what happened altogether
Yasushi: I see … that makes sense, given how businesses work … although, I think it's awful that you had to go through that, without them being accountable for their actions
Kyoko: Although I understand the point of the cover-up for a law firm … I still think it was the wrong thing to do …
Saena smiled faintly and said: it doesn't matter anymore … honestly, I don't mind it … because if this is where I stand today, then I have nothing to complain about … if I hadn't gone through all those difficulties, then I wouldn't be here … I have been in the process of accepting what happened, and I think that despite all the struggles, I can say I'm at peace

Saena and Todoh told Katagiri what happened in the meeting
Kyoko and Ren sat with them as they discussed the next step, regarding holding Nanami accountable for all her heinous actions
Katagiri said he would try to pull some strings and see if he can speed the process so they can get it over with
Saena thanked Todoh for encouraging her to speak up and let her do most of the talking … she didn't want to let Nanami walk all over her again and was glad things went well
Kyoko thanked both her mother and Todoh-san for defending her and her chosen career, as she felt disgusted hearing she was similar to that man
Although Ren had comforted her that she was nothing like him, hearing her mother and Todoh stand up to Nanami and her mindless claims made her super happy and proud
They looked at the file and although it didn't mention the suicide attempt, it did mention that she had gone to a few doctors trying to get an abortion … she decided to keep the report, as to figure out who leaked her medical records … which is a violation to her privacy
Katagiri gave that case to one of Saena's co-workers who had a lot of experience dealing with such matters
With that, all 4 bid Katagiri goodbye and exited his office … Kyoko and Ren bid her mother and Todoh-san goodbye as they had to return to work now
Saena thanked Ren for protecting Kyoko … staying with her and supporting her
Ren promised that he will always be there to do so ... and with that, they walked away and joined Yashiro in his car
Saena sighed in relief and said: that went well!
Todoh: indeed! … I'm glad this part is all over!
Saena nodded, then asked: do you want to celebrate this win at your place?
Todoh smiled slyly and said: it would be my utmost pleasure to do so!
Saena: alright then … it's a deal
Todoh: let's get back to work then … the sooner we finish, the sooner we can celebrate!
Saena smiled happily and said: sure!
(In Yashiro's car)
Yashiro: so how did it go?!
Kyoko: better than I expected! … the father of that man and the husband of that old lady came and destroyed her! … I'm sure I heard at least 3 slaps!
Yashiro: he slapped her?! … well deserved! … but it's not over there, right?! … a slap isn't enough!
Ren: oh no … it's not over just yet … they will go to court for sure!
Kyoko: I think that old lady is terrified because she was upset her husband is trying to force her to pay with her own money

Kyoko: ah, they only started dating recently … after she was discharged from the hospital!
Ren: we actually saw them at the premiere of tragic marker!
Yashiro: what?! … did they see you?! … weren't you Cain and Setsu?!
Kyoko: we were … in fact, Setsu sat next to her at the movies … I was in character so I didn't say anything to her … it was nerve-wracking … but at the same time, she didn't say anything about Setsu, so it's ok!

Ren: and an American Karen … because she complained about her dress being ruined, and asked for a manager… it was pleasantly amusing … she did great!

Yashiro: anyway … I heard back from the food competition, and they want you in, next week!

Yashiro: apparently, they were looking for different people who come from Kyoto, and they will have you 4 compete against one another, and a trained chef will evaluate your skills … in the end, 2 of you will represent Kyoto in the competition
Kyoko: I see! … do I have to prepare for that?
Yashiro: they will ask you to brainstorm a recipe on spot, I think … I will give you more information as soon as I get them!

Ren: Good luck! … I'm sure you'll do great!

Yashiro dropped Ren off at his job first, then drove off to take Kyoko to her next job

Kyoko and Ren couldn't see each other because they worked at different times, so Ren went solo, while Yashiro stayed with Kyoko
Saena and Todoh made some progress, as they got closer to some extent … they were both happy and content, and that was all that mattered
Hiroki spent his time with Diana for the most part
Yasushi kept an eye on Nanami, forcing her to remain in her room and out of any trouble
Kioshi, Anna, and the younger kids kept exploring Tokyo and enjoying their time as a family
Katagiri had pulled some strings and ensured that the pre-trial for Nanami could be squeezed in, and would take place two weeks from now
Nanami decided to go without a lawyer because she wasn't willing to waste her inheritance money … as she worried she would have to pay some sort of fees or penalties at some point
(Next week)
(Monday – Highschool)
Kyoko went to school at the beginning of the week … she was nervous at first, but when she got to school, she was welcomed and respected … many people recognized her in a good way which made her less nervous when walking into school
Kyoko sat with her friends Ryo, Akari, and Nakamura
More girls approached her and talked to her nicely, apologizing for being distant and laughing when she was bullied … they were embarrassed by their actions and asked for a chance to redeem themselves … Kyoko gracefully accepted their apology, and was glad she had more people who respected her
Kyoko also heard that the 4 girls who billed her were expelled from school as they refused to apologize, and therefore they were no longer attending this school
She was very happy with this positive change, and she started believing that she was going to be able to enjoy her senior year at high school!
Mimori stayed away and didn't bother Kyoko at all because she knew how that would affect her
The teacher distributed the "Future plan" document to all the students and reminded them that they would meet with them and their parents for that in a week
While Kyoko went out with her friends after school, to a nearby diner, … she saw people looking at them, and heard some calling her name … it wasn't out of malice, as it sounded friendly … as many people revealed they were fans of hers and loved her work!
She sat and ate with her three friends, with who we're happy she's doing alright, especially after all the drama she went through with the news and the poisoning case
They had different discussions about their jobs and what they would include in their future plans
Nakamura said that his main motivation is to become a great musician … but if that didn't work, he might instead want to become a music teacher
Akari said she would work hard to become a famous actress, but she was still going to college to learn fashion design because she aimed to focus on that in the distant future
Ryo Katsumata also said he would want to become a first-class actor, … but he planned to become a business owner in the far future … he had a friend who wanted to start a company once they graduate, and so they planned to do it together
Kyoko was surprised that all of them had another plan in place … she never thought of it before, so she decided to think about it more, then talk to her mother about it
Kyoko got a text from Yashiro who came to pick her up … she bid her friends goodbye and left the restaurant to enter Yashiro's car
When she came in, she saw that Ren was seated in the back staring at her friends, so she said: oh hi … sorry, I didn't know you were coming!
Ren bit down his frustration, and jealousy, saying: hey …
Yashiro: He finished work early, so I picked him up before I came here!
Kyoko: I see! … it's great to see you again, Tsuraga-san!
Ren: equally so, …
Confused, Kyoko asked: something wrong?
Ren: …
Yashiro: you said you were going to eat with your friends … are those two guys them?
Kyoko: yes! … along with Akari-san!
Frankly, Ren didn't like that … but didn't comment, because he didn't want to take away something precious from Kyoko, even if her friends were guys … he appreciated that those two supported her, but at the same time, he was worried that either of them would fall for her and might attempt to steal her away from him

Yashiro: I hope you had fun, Kyoko-chan!

Ren smiled and said: I can't imagine the showbiz industry without you, so please keep doing an amazing job as always!
Kyoko replied confidently: I will!
Ren nodded and smiled
Yashiro was glad that Kyoko changed the topic … he knew Ren would be jealous that she sat with two guys, even if there were her friends
Curious, Ren asked: what did they want to do instead?
Yashiro wanted to shout out of frustration that Ren bought them up again … he was unsure how the conversation would go … so he gulped nervously
Kyoko: Nakamura-san would be a music teacher if his career as a musician didn't work out … Akari san said she would go to school for fashion design because she's interested in doing something with fashion in the future, and Katsumata-kun wants to be a business owner in the future … they both want to remain as actors for as long as possible
Yashiro: I see! … that's interesting!
Kyoko: yes! … speaking of cooking, perhaps I can open my own restaurant one day!
Ren: that would be great!
Yashiro: yes, and Ren would be there every day for lunch!
Kyoko smiled and nodded: that would be great! … he would be my favorite customer!
Ren smiled sly and said: if that's the case, I might as well work there too … how about we open the restaurant together?!
Yashiro: hey! … wait a minute!

Ren smiled and decided to plan something for tomorrow since he had more time to prepare
Kyoko told Yashiro and Ren all about her school day, and that she was surprised more people supported her … and that the 4 bullied were expelled for good
Ren told her that she shouldn't be too surprised because she's a good person and deserved all the support and respect she was getting
Yashiro echoed Ren's words and emphasized that Kyoko's gaining popularity because people liked how respectful and honest she was … not throwing people under the bus despite all the pain she went through
They also talked about Ren's successful campaign … it was gaining a lot of traction, and more agencies requested to join, including Akatoki
(That Night – Ren's Apartment)
Ren came home to his huge, yet empty apartment … it felt so cold and lonely
He walked to his bedroom, and collapsed on the bed … he looked at the time, then sat up
He opened his phone and saw a reminder to eat … so he got up and went to the kitchen, …
Ren found some food that Kyoko packed the last time she was there
He heated the food and sat to eat … he enjoyed it because it was Kyoko's cooking
He never really ate leftovers when he was younger … not because he didn't like it … it was because his parents never left anything on the plate, therefore there were never leftovers
As he moved to Tokyo, he had tones of leftovers as he never really ate all his food all at once … and despite not liking the food as it became bland over time, he tried to not throw away food
However, the food in front of him didn't taste anything like bland leftovers … it tasted amazing, and he enjoyed every single bite … almost wanting more
As he washed the plate, he wondered if Kyoko's food had some type of magic in it because it always made him eat … he loved and enjoyed her food so much that he didn't mind taking seconds
He thought about the idea of opening a restaurant in the far future with his partner being Kyoko … and thought joyfully about how successful it would be because Kyoko's cooking would win over everyone … he was sure of that
But his selfishness crept in, making him think "what if I want all her cooking for myself?!"
He was sure that she would do great in the cooking competition that week … but wondered if it will cause him trouble if people took notice of her cooking skills and tried to steer her away in a different direction, away from him
He shook those thoughts away, as his thought went back to the idea of opening a restaurant … then an idea came to him … so he opened his phone and looked it up
He then got up and got a notepad, wrote a few things down … then he stashed that note in his pocket and left in a hurry
(The Next Day- Filming Studio)
Momose: this is your last day here for a while!
Kyoko: yes!
Yashiro: she managed to finish all the other scenes last night
Momose: definitely … she's the current queen of no NGs
Kazumi: so, Today is going to be a painful one!
Kyoko: sadly, yes …
Yashiro: talking about the scenes?
Momose: yes … Since it's that last time we see her before the time skip! … it's going to be emotional indeed!
Kazumi: by the way … you look amazing Kyoko-san! … are you dressed up for something special?!
Nervous, Kyoko lied: no! … why would you think so?
Yashiro knew that Kyoko was meeting Ren tonight for dinner, so he smiled slyly and signaled to Momose with a nod … she smiled back without inquiring about anything specific

Natsuki and Miwako sat down together and checked their online college application … Miwako checked hers first, … she put in her login information and closed her eyes nervously, fearful to see a rejection … However, Natsuki cheered her and told her she would get in … so she clicked login
The page took a minute before it loaded … and once it did, they both cheered happily!
Sumiko: what's going on?!
Natsuki: Miwako got accepted!
Miwako: let's check yours!
Sumiko: that's amazing! … congratulation!
Miwako: thank you so much!
Sumiko: go ahead and check!
Natsuki logged in and once he saw that he was accepted … he stood up and said: WE DID IT!
Miwako: Yay! … once Tamayo comes back we can check hers … then we can truly celebrate!
Sumiko: …
Natsuki looked at his mother and asked: the mail?
Sumiko: yes, I just got it
Natsuki took it and looked and said: there aren't any for me … but this one is for Tamayo? … wait what is this?
Miwako: what is it?
Tamayo came back and said: can you give it?!
Sumiko: your back? … welcome home!
Upset, Natsuki asked: what is this?!
Miwako: Hey! … calm down!
Tamayo came closer and took her letter saying: it is none of your business!
Sumiko: you two! … you can't stay upset with one another! … please!
Natsuki: she's the one going behind of backs and doing questionable things!
Miwako: Tamayo! … why don't we set and check your application!
Tamayo: what application?
Miwako: for the University! … we all agreed to go to school together, remember?!
Distant, Tamayo: oh that … no need … I never submitted my application
Shocked and upset, Natsuki questioned: why the hell not! … are you actually trying to go aboard?
Tamayo: do you have a problem with that?!
Natsuki: Sure, I do! … that wasn't the plan! … you're a …
Sumiko interrupted: Natsuki! … you have to understand that things can't always remain the same!
Natsuki: why are you always defending her?! … what happened to us being a family! … when those people came, she changed in unacceptable ways! … I miss the old Tamayo!
Tamayo: if you don't like me anymore … then don't worry too much! … I'll leave for good, so I won't bother you anymore!
Miwako got worried and very upset, so she cried: NO! … stop! … don't do this, please!
Tamayo felt bad for Miwako, so she looked down, but said nothing
Sumiko: let's all calm down, ok?!
Natsuki: are u going overseas?
Tamayo: …
Sumiko: look, … her grandparents want to support her, and so …
Natsuki: so, she leaving us behind to go with people she barely knows … I get it! … we're no longer her family, although for some odd reason she thinks of me as a brother … I know siblings talk to one another and discuss those matters … but that's not the case here, is it!?
Miwako: Natsuki-kun, please don't assume anything!
Tamayo: what's wrong with me wanting to get to know my grandparents?!
Natsuki: I don't mind, as long as it doesn't cost us our relationship with you! … but at this point, it seems like it's either us or them … it can't be both, can it!
Tamayo: I'm not choosing them over you! … but, I can't be in two places at once!
Sumiko: Natsuki! … she's not going to go there forever … she can always come and visit, as she's always welcomed here!
Natsuki: so, you're indeed moving in with them … when were you going to tell us?! … the day you leave?!
Tamayo looked at Natsuki feeling cornered … she wasn't trying to hurt them, so she thought leaving and getting treatment would be the best option … but now she was starting to doubt her choice … she thought that perhaps she should have been more honest with them about her illness
She decided she'd talk to Sumiko-san, her doctor, and grandparents before telling them the news about her illness
Frustrated, Natsuki decided: you know what … I don't care what you do anymore … do whatever you want! … you don't even have to tell us anything … you go your own way, and I will go on my own!
Miwako: Natsuki! … don't say that! … you don't mean that
Tamayo: fine …
Miwako ran to Tamayo and said: no! … please no! … we're friends! … I respect you have your secrets and I support your relationship with your grandparents … but please … keep in touch, ok?! … we're best friends! … please!
Tamayo looked down … then said: I need some time alone … (so she walked away to her room)
Sumiko: Natsuki! … don't say something you don't mean! … that wasn't nice!
Natsuki: I just hate how secretive she became … especially after meeting them … I expected us to go to college together … but now this?!
Miwako: things changed, we can't avoid that, but we can readjust, I'm sure!
Sumiko: that's right … things are different now, … and I know it's difficult, but you need to understand where they're coming from us well, … Tamayo has a great chance to get a great education overseas and stay with them for a while, but she can always come and visit! … trust me!

Natsuki, Miwako, Tamayo, and their friends sat in a café and talked happily
Miwako was happy that Tamayo and Natsuki were talking like normal again … Natsuki had apologized and so did Tamayo … Tamayo told them that she can't tell them everything yet, but she will try to do so, soon
Tamayo was going to see her grandparents tonight and talk to them about disclosing her illness instead of hiding it … she talked to Sumiko who support whatever decision she took, and her doctor told her that support is important to all patients, so he didn't mind
As they sat down, one of their friends, Miya was acting oddly … she was absent-minded, and spacing out regularly
When she was asked what was going on, she broke down crying, as she bottled up her feelings all week trying to be strong in front of her family
She told them that her mother was diagnosed with liver cancer, … it was an advanced stage, but not terminal
Everyone felt terrible for her sake and tried to cheer her up
Tamayo felt a rush of memories coming back … she remembered how her mother was diagnosed with cancer, and that it was possible to get her cured, but due to her inability to afford the treatment, she worked harder to get the money, yet by then, it was too late to treat her
Those memories also reminded her of her own battle, … she looked at her friends and thought about her decision not to tell them about her illness
Miwako cried and said: I can't handle it! … we need to end cancer once and for all! …I don't anyone else to get that evil illness ever again!
Natsuki echoed her, saying: we will be doctors who will fight this illness till we eradicate it!
Hearing that made Tamayo rethink her decision … she started thinking that telling them was indeed a bad idea, and she's better off leaving to get treated before coming back in full health again
It might take a year or two … and hoped that everything will be normal once she's cancer-free … she can come back to her friends and life once again
(The Third Scene)
Tamayo met her grandparents and told them that she'd rather leave than tell her friends about her illness
They asked her about her decision, as she told them she had changed her mind, so she told them that a friend's mother is ill and it caused them sadness … so she couldn't tell them, making them feel even worse
Tamayo suddenly started feeling very ill, coughing violently, then she collapsed so she was rushed to the hospital
(The Forth Scene)
In the hospital, Tamayo was taken into the emergency to get checked … and the doctors recommended she starts the treatment right away, informing her that her hair won't fall right away, and that side effects don't happen right away either, as it all depends on her treatment plan
She had 1 left week before the graduation, and 3 before she needs to leave the country
After much persuasion, Tamayo finally agreed
The next day, she was taken to a different room, where there were 6 beds, 4 of them were occupied … she took the 5th bed and sat down … she was hooked up to the medication, and was given a book to read until the end of her treatment
At some point, a woman came in with her daughter and occupied the final bed … that was Miya and her mother
Miya saw Tamayo and froze … Tamayo looked up wanting to check the time, but froze seeing Miya staring back at her … so she dropped the book in hand
Miya: Tamayo?!
Tamayo looked down unsure how to react … she didn't want anyone to know, not anymore, yet she was discovered by Miya …
Miya: what the hell are you doing here?! … this room is for cancer patients! … you're too young to be one!
An older lady sitting on bed #2: Cancers doesn't know an age! … My grandson got it when he was an infant, … he survived and so can you! … don't stress too much and listen to the doctors!
Tamayo: …
Miya nodded to the older lady, apologizing … then she got closer and said: you didn't say you were ill!
Tamayo: because it's a secret!
Miya: Tamayo! … you can't keep this a secret! … we're all here to support you!
Nervous, Tamayo: you can't tell anyone! … you mustn't!
Miya: you can't be serious! … are you pretending to go overseas because of this?!
Tamayo: I am going overseas!
Miya: to get treatment … not for education?
Tamayo: why not for both?!
Miya: Tamayo! … you can't just leave like this! … we're your friends! … we want to support you!
Tamayo: and do what?! … tell me?!
Miya: stay by your side and encourage you … the doctor said that support is essential!

Miya: so this … this is the reason you grew distant and changed?! … that why you gave up on Natsuki?! … Tamayo, what you're dealing with?!
Tamayo: I didn't give anything up … Natsuki and Miwako are meant to be! … they're great together!
Miya: you loved him!
Tamayo lied: as a brother!
Miya: Don't lie to me! … you held back because you learned that Miwako liked him too!
Tamayo: …
Sumiko came in and heard that … so she asked: Is that true?!
Tamayo stressed: it doesn't matter!
Sumiko: it does! … your feelings matter! … I would have given you my blessing because I love you, Tamayo!
Tamayo: I don't want that, … I'm not going to be a burden on you anymore!
Sumiko: you were never a burden! … you're just like my own daughter! … I want to protect you and help you! … please don't distance yourself from us because of this
Miya: Tamayo …
Tamayo: STOP! … stop it! … I want to support Natsuki and Miwako! … they are the closest people to my heart, and I want all the best for them! … don't drag me into the equation! … my feelings are not of a romantic nature, not anymore… so stop!
Miya: you don't have to leave!
Tamayo: YES, I DO! … I can't stay here and remind everyone of that pain! … I'm going to come back when I'm ok again!
Miya: then, let's stay in contact!
Tamayo: no …
Miya: I know your secret! … I can keep you in the circle, and tell you everything that is going on … please! … don't let go! … I promise I won't tell anyone! … and I will be careful, so, please!
Tamayo considered the idea and thought it would be easier for Miya to contact her, because Miya isn't with them all the time, and she's very well informed about her friends
Miya: please! … I will protect your secret!
Tamayo: fine...
Miya: promise me!
Tamayo looked at her and said: I promise … as long as you keep yours I will keep mine!
Miya: we're friends! … I will always keep my promise to you! … and I will do anything you ask me to do!
Tamayo nodded and thanked Miya
Miya then asked Tamayo about her illness and learned that Tamayo had a severe case of lung cancer, that had spread to her lymph nodes … and although it's not terminal, it would be difficult to treat, so going overseas to a very specific team of doctors was her best shot at getting a treatment that might help her recover fully
They cried together and Miya encouraged her to stay strong
(The Fifth and Final scene of the day)
This scene was all about Tamayo's departure … her grandparents came to pick her up, to go to the airport
Miwako, Natsuki, and his parents bid Tamayo farewell, and she turned around and got into the car … Miwako cried because she won't see her closest friend for some time … she was heartbroken, yet very supportive of Tamayo's decision to get closer to her grandparents and gain great education overseas
Natsuki was still upset about the fact Tamayo was leaving, but he couldn't stop her … he supported her and wished her all the best, calling her the best sister he could ever have
As Natsuki and Miwako ran after the car and promised to stay in touch and visit her when they can, she looked down and cried … her grandmother hugged her and comforted her knowing that her journey won't be easy at all
With that, Tamayo's scenes as a teenager in Japan ended
The last scene was a tear-jerker, leaving most of the cast, if not all in tears
Kyoko thanked the director and team, before going to her changing room
She sat there and cried a little more, as she tried to shake Tamayo off
Yashiro gave her the space she needed and stayed outside … he smiled as he greeted the staff as they walked by … then greeted Momose and Kazumi who came to see goodbye to Kyoko … they would see her again, but that would be in a month or so
Kyoko exited her changing room after collecting all her things … She bid Momose and Kazumi goodbye and wished them all the best in their relationship, promising to see them again in Okinawa for their scenes there, before finishing off the moving filming in Tokyo
Yashiro met the staff and finalized Kyoko's filming schedule for the movie, leaving some room in case something needs to change, but so far everything was set and ready to go smoothly
Once in the car, Yashiro drove Kyoko to Ren's apartment … she smiled as she looked out of the window, feeling excited to see Ren once again
(In Saena's Apartment)
Todoh and Saena came come, as Saena needed to feed Remi
They had gone grocery shopping, as Saena and Todoh decided to try to cook dinner together, given that Saena can't do everything with her hand still in a cast
As Todoh unpacked the groceries, Saena put Remi her food, then started helping unpack the rest
They put away they didn't need and measured the ingredients, then started cooking
At this point, Todoh knew where everything is in the relatively medium-sized kitchen … and was able to be very helpful in bringing everything they needed, without even being asked to do so
Once dinner was cooked, they both sat down and ate happily … they discussed different matters that weren't related to work
After they finished dinner Todoh volunteered to do all the dishes, and once he was done, they both sat down and watch some TV show
After watching the show, they turned off the TV and sat together, and talked a little longer about a few things … this time work was involved
Todoh remarked that the media had changed after a new campaign in Showbiz started
Saena told him that it was started by the Agency Kyoko was in, so he playfully asked: so, do you think that young man is behind it!?
Saena: you mean, Tsuraga-kun?
Todoh: yes, him!
Saena: I think he might be involved …
Todoh: I would think so too!
Saena: are you asking because of Kyoko's questions, she asked a few days ago?
Todoh nodded then asked: do you think she's convinced by our answers?
Saena: well, … I think she is slowly changing how she views herself … she dressed up today and told me she won't be home for dinner, so I assume she's meeting him for dinner!
Todoh: oh really?! … well, I hope she enjoys it!
Saena looked down and said: you're a man, right?
Todoh: I'm sure I am!
Saena: well, … do you think he's being honest with her?! … he won't hurt her, right?
Todoh: I don't think you have to worry about him … I don't personally know him, but from his actions, I can tell he genuinely cares about her … and he seemed to be cautious around you, because he wants you to approve of him, and not because of your job
Saena: you think so?
Todoh: yes … but, if you want to be extra cautious, I can ask my brother to run a background check on him!
Saena: no need … I don't think that's necessary … I can see how much he cares, and I just wanted your input on it, since you're a man who can judge people well most of the time!
Todoh: I'm thankful you trust me!
Saena: I do … more so now than ever before … I truly see you in a different light now!
Curious, Todoh asked: how so?
Saena blushed and asked: do I have to explain?!
Todoh chuckled and shook his head … then said: no, I'm just teasing!
Saena got an email from Yashiro, in it was the schedule for Kyoko's Okinawa trip
Todoh: work?
Saena: Kyoko's work trip … she going to Okinawa in a month for 2 weeks!
Todoh: oh! … she's a truly busy young lady!
Saena: yes … indeed!
Todoh: Okinawa … I heard it's nice there
Saena: I saw a flyer about it before … but I was never interested in going …
Todoh: would you reconsider?
Saena: I don't know … maybe …
Todoh: I think my sister and brother in law went there for their wedding anniversary
Saena: I guess it's an area that attracts tourists
Todoh: now that you mention that … maybe I would prefer to go elsewhere … I don't like crowded places!
Saena: neither do I …
Todoh: have you ever wanted to go somewhere, but never got the chance to go
Saena: well … I've been interested in visiting European countries with great laws and have Judicial Independence … such as the Netherlands … Denmark … or the United Kingdom … I'm not sure how to explain why … but I was interested to visit places like that and see how different their lives are
Todoh: that's interesting! … Europe is rich with history, art, and great sceneries … and their laws are indeed interesting
Saena: what about you?!
Todoh: I never thought about it … I was once interested in going to the US to see what their supreme court looks like … but it's not that high on my list … hmm … I guess I never really considered going on vacations … since I only go to Kyoto to visit my family from time to time … I could have gone anywhere else, but I was never interested enough in doing so …
Saena: perhaps you should visit a place where they make puzzles! … since you like them so much!
Todoh: Hey! … that's a great idea! … where were puzzles invented?!
Saena looked it up and then said: England … it seems
Todoh: hmm … that's great, maybe we can go there together since England is a part of the United Kingdom
Saena nodded, then said: that would be nice … taking a break and exploring a little …
Todoh: we can both speak English as well, which is a plus
Saena: that's true!
Todoh: then we can discuss that sometime in the future!
Saena: that's a great idea …
Todoh: say, … do you like puzzles?
Saena: not as much as you do, but yes … I've done some before
Todoh: maybe we can do one together, wouldn't it be fun?
Saena: Us? … doing a puzzle together?
Todoh: yes! … we can buy one … that put it together … it would be a fun activity, don't you think?
Saena: I guess …
Todoh: unless you prefer to go out on a date?
Unsure, Saena: well … I don't know
Todoh: we can do both! … we can go on a date, then shop for a puzzle … we can assemble any time we're free …
Saena nodded … then asked: but, what kind of date are you aiming for?
Todoh: hmm … what do you want to do?
Saena: I'm not sure …
Todoh: A dinner is an option, then … we can maybe go to a museum if you're interested
Unsure, Saena: Museum, … what do people do there?
Todoh: look at art, and talk about it … or maybe we can to a historical one instead!
Saena: I guess we can try that
Todoh: all right then, … let me plan things out for this weekend, how about that?
Saena looked at him nervously but decided to go along with it and see how it goes, so she said: I'm ok with that!
Todoh happily cheered: great!

What is Ren planning for her visit?! … and will his plans go smoothly
Kyoko will be doing the cooking competition, how will she do, and will she get the chance to represent her hometown Kyoto?!
