Hello and welcome to the next chapter of Tales of Tamers Xill!a! Today is the final chapter of volume 7 but not of the arc, there are two more chapters before the arc is finish, I'll explain at the end of the chapter. Now let get to it. Recap

Last time on Tales of Tamers Xilla: After evacuating the people of Mantle to safety, teams Jnpr, Hasu along with Kirito and Asuna return to the school to check on their friends. They discover their room to be wreck and found Oscar, Yui and Herissmon missing. They look for them when they ran into Oscar, but only for a second Oscar to show with Yui and Heirssmon. That expose the first one to be Neo, as Sven reveals to know the girl. Meanwhile Teams Tker and Rwby were in trouble as they face off with the Ace ops. These professal huntsmen were highly skill and powerful for the Tamers. But it the end thanks to their teamwork they were able to defeat the Ace ops. Now they set off to find their friends and the Winter Maiden before it too late.

Chapter 73

The enemy of trust

Sven Pov: To believe I would meet her again here of all places. I have heard she was lost in the fall of Beacon when Takato and Ruby went to that airship. A part of me is glad she is alive, but at the same time, sadden by her current actions. "Wait you know her Sven?" Jaune ask. "I do, it was sometime after I left the white fang. I needed to find work, so I turn to a club in Vale own by a someone who work in the underworld. That where I met Neo, we got along quite well. We work on several jobs togethers until her uncle Roman needed her for a large job. "Wait as in Rowman torchwick?" Kaisuke ask. "Yes." I said sadly as Neo grip her teeth. -She pulls out her scroll and start to type. She then shows it to us. "Hey, Sven it nice to see you, I was hoping not to meet you like this." She said. "Me too Neo, please don't do this, I don't want to fight you." I said. She shook her head and help up another message. "I can't do that Sven; I won't stop until I have my revenge. But first I'm gonna need that lamp." She said as she points her parasol at u Oscar.

"Doesn't look like your girlfriend gonna listen to us." Zoey said as we got ready. "So be it." i said as Neo charge at us.

Jaune try to slash her with his sword s she jumps and kick him in the face. Nora went next and swung at her. Neo smirk as she was shatter from the strike. She appears behind Nora and strike her in the back. Ren shot at her as Neo open her parasol to block them. Ryusosen!" Hiro shout as he did a barrage at her which Neo gracefully dodges. "Hexa strike!" Zoey shout as sent a 6 hit5 attack at her. Neo look bored as she parries Zoey off and then kick her back. Keisuke try to strike her from behind, only for Neo grab his arm and throw him into the wall. -I aim at her and try to disable her. She deflected my shots and then blew me a kiss. Oh, neo even when we fight one another you always try to flirt with me. Argo swung her whip at the dual tone girl as neo grab the whip and throw Argo aside. "Lighting stab!" Kirito shout as he jumps and stabs at her as Neo jump back. "Diagonal sting!" Asuna shout as she thrust at Neo from behind. Neo backflips over her then start to run at Oscar.

He tries to fight her off, but Neo was too skill for him as she knocks him down and took the lamp. She gave us a bow and ran off. "We can't let her get away." Jaune said as we ran after her. We split up as me and Ren ran down on of the hallways. We soon saw Nora with Neo parasol as she came at us. No, it Neo. Ren shot at her as she got close. Ren went to hit er but her eye changes to Nora with a sad look that cause him to stop. She uses this to knock him down and ran off. I help Ren up. "That wasn't Nora, Neo semblance let her turn her imagination into reality," I said. "Right." He said. "We soon met up with the others. We continue to chase Neo until we were stop by some soldiers. They start to fire at us. "Fall back!" Jaune shout as we ran. We were able to get away. We hid in a room to catch our breath. "I'm sorry." Oscar said. "Don't be." Jaune said. "He right, Neo always use tricks to get the job." I said. "We weren't ready to become huntsmen." Ren said. "I greed that was awful." Keisuke said. "That not true." Nora said. "Then why did we just lost he damn lamp!" Zoey shout.

"Now Salem has the lamp, Ironwood have the staff and we have nothing!" Ren shout. "That enough Ren." Hiro said. But then our scrolls came on. "Hello anybody there, can you hear me?" Pietro said. "Our scrolls doctor?" Jaune ask. ""Haha finest mind in Atlas." Maria said. "Maria, what are you doing?" Nora ask. "Grabbing our getaway ship, we need to high tail it out of here, rest of Ikuno friends just join us. Where are the rest of you?" She ask. "The school training room, we slipped away from some soldiers. But we don't have long until they discover us.': I said. Suddenly the soldiers found us as we set up a defensed line. "Oscar, Oscar where did you go?" I heard Argo ask. Oscar Pov: "Sorry you guys have to go without us." I said into my scroll as I ran down the hallway. "Where are you doing!" Argo shout. "There something I need to do. I'll come back, I promise." I said as I turn it off. "I hope you know what you're doing." Herissmon ask from my head. "Don't worry I do." I said as we found our way to the winter vault. We rode the lift to the bottom to see James's waiting. He saw us coming down. As the lift tops I made my way to him. "And whom do I have the pleasure of speaking with?" He ask.

"Trust is what I'm hoping to fix. I know we can still figure this out, all of it together please." I said. "Do your intent to fight me?" He ask. I shook my head as Herissmon move to my shoulder. "No, that exactly what she wants. I guess it because of us." i said as I held up my cane. "But holding it help calm me down when I'm afraid." I said as I retract it and put it away. "You still think I'm afraid?" James ask. "We all are, it's what we do in our fear that reveals." he cut me off. "That easy for you to say!" He shout. We started to walk around each other. "You can label mee whatever you like. But the fact of the matter is I was right. The minute I soften, let my guard down, that when Salem had her opening." He said as I came to the edge of the platform. "If you abandon Mantle, you abandoned our best chance of reuniting the world. You'll abandon Remnant, leaving millions to fend for themselves. So, a few can survive. What kind of!" I shout. "All excellent philosophical points, that won't matter if Salem wins." He said. "Listen to him." Herissmon said. "No, you listen, I am done letting others inability to see the big picture get in the way of doing what right!" He shout.

He moves closer to us. "Robyn, the council, this kingdom even you." He said. I glare at him. "Then you're as dangerous as she is James." I said. "James is what my friends call me, to you it general." He said as he took his gun and shot me in the chest. I gasp as we fell off the platform. "Oscar!" Herissmon screams as we fall. As we fall I think is this it. Will I die? I look to Heirssmon, then I thought about Argo and everyone. No, I won't die here, everyone still need me! "Oscar." I heard Ozpin voice. I look around and saw my can. I swim though the air to grab it. I press it as the gears spin. "Hang on buddy." I said as he grabs onto to me. I extend me cane as it glows, we reach the bottom of the shaft. I let out a scream as I slam the cane down to blast a hole through it. We soon were falling through the sky. I put the cane away and focus as a green barrier form over me just was we hit the ground. I let it fade as we sat up. "That was not fun, let never do that again." Herissmon said. "Agreed." I said as I pet his head. I look around to see were outside of Mantle. That power, those memories, your back, aren't you?" I ask.

"You save us." I said. "No, you save us." Ozpin said. I look to the sky as it was turning red. "Oscar." He said. "Stop, all I want to know is how were gonna save Atlas next?" I ask. "Alright for now let find your friends." He said. "Right, let go Herissmon." I said. "Right, it goes time." He said as we start to run for the city. Takato Pov: It didn't take us long to reach the hospital. When we got there, we saw a pillar of icy winds lasting out of the building. "Look like the party already started." I said. "We need to move." Rika said "Follow me." Weiss said as we went inside it took us a bit to reach the top. Once there we saw the room cover in ice, Winter was laying injured against a wall. Penny was staring down Cinder, but the android has green flames coming from her eyes. Penny now the Winter Maiden. "Winter!' Weiss shout as her sister current state. Cinder look at us as her hands were cover in flames. Ruby simply looks at her and activate. There was flash, when it clears Cinder was gone. Most likely fled. Rika caught her sister as she start to fall. Weiss and I ran down to Winter.

She was pretty beat up. "What did you do?" She ask as she glare at us. "Save your ass for one." I said. I saw Penny was crying over a woman body. She must had been the former Maiden. Ruby and Rika went over to comfort her. "She gone." Penny said. "No." Winter said as we look at her. "She a part of you now." She said. Winter place herself up to sit against the ice. "I suggest you all surrender and comply with the general orders." She said. 'With all the shit he pulls today, no way in hell!" Rika shout. "She right, we can't do that." Weiss said. Winter put on a sad look. "Then I suggest you run." She said. "No, your hurt, I'm not leaving you." Weiss said. "You're not leaving me, I'm giving you a head start." She said as she turns on her scroll. "This is special operative Schee, in need of immediate medical assistance, send reinforcements over." She said. Weiss sigh. "We all have to crave our own way." She said as an airship came by the hold. We saw the others on it. "Guys." Yang said.

"We need to go." Ruby said. Penny mod as we got on the ship. As we flew away from Atlas, we saw red clouds forming. They soon turn black as thunder went through them. We could see the outline of something big. it then made itself visible. It was a massive whale like Grimm flying through the sky. With it was an army of beginals with wings. Rika drop to her knees as she wraps her arms around herself and start to shakes. She has a look of fear on her face. "T-takato, this aura it so dark and cold." She said as I hug her. "I know I feel it too, its Salem she here. Which mean were in for the fight of our lives." I said afraid.

Zoey: Well shit really hit the fan as the queen bitch herself Salem shows up. Things don't look good for us as we try to save Atlas from this mess. Next time on Tales of Tamers Xilla: Chapter 74: Faith light the way. Time to go all out.

And that is it for the chapter folks; Now this is the point in the story where we will go off canon. I repeat, we will not be following the show anymore. 1st because by the time Volume 8 came out I have already written an outcome to the Attack by Salem forces. And 2nd, I wasn't too happy with how volume 8 turn out. So now the rest of the story will be all original. Stay tune to find out what happen next. Until then this been Crimson Dragonic blazing out!
