An alternative ending to Children of the Earth.
It was hard for them to believe that Ianto was really dead. Gwen straightened his tie and Jack put his arm around her. They shared a moment of silence for Ianto. Then Ianto gasped and sat up straight. It was the same gasp of life that Jack gave when he came back. The three of them were frozen for a moment, Ianto looked just as shocked if not more as Jack and Gwen. Then Jack scooped Ianto into his arms and kissed him long and hard.
"Jack your going to suffocate him,"Gwen said. She looked around uneasily before adding "and we should get going."
Jack go of Ianto and smiled wildly. "Welcome back to life Jones, Ianto Jones."
Then he scooped Ianto into his arms and walked out along with Gwen.
"Jack I can walk," Ianto said.
"This is more romantic."Ianto rolled his eyes but he was smiling. It was good to be back.
"I love you."
"I love you too."
"It's good to have you back Ianto," Gwen said.
"Thanks Gwen," Ianto replied.
