78. Reunion in Vacuo

Hello and welcome to the next chapter of Tales of Tamers Xilla. Today we are starting the Vacuo arc, now this will be my take on what should happen in Vacuo. We're not sure of what happen to the Rwby crew until volume 9 comes out. Let get to the chapter, Disclaimer: I don't own Digimon, The tales series, Bleach, Sword art online, Fairy Tail, Rouruni Kenshin, Darling in the Franxx or Rwby, they all belong to their respected creators. Kast time on Tales of Tamers Xilla: The gang were taking it easy in Spyros, Takato took Oscar to see Urahara who may have a way to remove Ozpin from Oscar. When they were checking out the city, they were attack by Ichigo Hill of the dusk bringers. It was not just them; Rika group ran into Aiko. In Fennmount Hiro and Zoey face off with Drake, in Drillan Ryo group was ambush by Tristen and Misuru. Blake and Weiss ran into Blake old friend Mira while Ludger battle with Angela. The battles were a draw as each of the dusk bringers use a strange device on Kudamon, Liollmon, Agumon, Gabumon, Meicoomon, Gatomon and Blackgatomon. They soon retreated leaving the Tamers worry about what just happen.

Chapter 78

Reunion in Vacuo

Normal Pov: Salem lair: The princess of Grimm Angela enters the lab with a bag over her shoulder. "Ah my lady, was your team mission a success?" Grimmon ask. She smiles as she opens the bag to show several tubes fill with red flakes. "One load of Digimon data as you requested Grimmon, I even label them form you." She said. as she hands them to Datamon. "Well done my dear, with these data samples we'll be well on our way." Datamon said. "If you don't mind me asking, what do you plan to do with them?" She ask. "We plan to access their fractal code, one of the cores information that make up a Digimon to create powerful Digimon to add to our ranks." Grimmon said. "And since they came from the Tamers Digimon, noting will be able to stop him." Datamon said. "I see, Datamon, if it alright could I have some of the Gatomon data. I wish to test an idea of mind." She said. Datamon look to his master who nod. Datamon place a needle into the Gatomon to pull some out and hand it to Angela. "Thank you, I'll put it too good used." She said as she left the room.

"What a strange human she is, anyway, sir how should I procced?" Datamon ask. "I like for you to merge the Agumon and Gabumon data with the sample of black digitron we have. Mixed some of the Gatomons together and use the rest of the Gatomon by itself. As for the Kudamon and Liollmon access their fractal codes for their mega forms and save them for later, I have a plan for them." He said as Datamon did as he was told and place each of the data into the tubes lining the walls. "Perfect, now how is the Darkdramon data we recover from Fezebel marsh coming along?" Grimmon ask. "He should be almost ready to fight my lord." Datamon said. Grimmon grins. "Good soon the Tamers will know our wrath." He said. Takato Pov: When we got back to Spiritius the next day, we found out that our group wasn't the only one attack. We discover there are more Dusk bringers then we thought. Aiko and Jazamon, Drake and Kotimon, Misuru who one of Hiro friends from his old life and his Bulucomon. And there Blake old friend Mira and her Gomamon.

It not just that each of them uses a device on Kudamon, Liollmon, Agumon, Gabumon, Meicoomon, Gatomon and Blackgatomon. We had them check out, so far, they seem to be ok. Because of this attack, we decide to jump start our trip to Vacuo. Also, Jeri, Ludger, Elle, Alvin and Leia came with us. "I'm surprise you guys wanted to come with." Ludomon said as he and Pyrrha help a seasick Jaune who was throwing up over the side of the ship. "I wanted to be able to help more, I'm a part of this team too." Jeri said. "Not to mention we should pull our weight too, I'm a bit bumb we couldn't hell you guys theses last few months." Alvin said. "Also, we get to see another Kingdom, it gonna be a major scoop." Leia said. "Still the gossip hound I see." Rika said getting a hey from Leia. "Anyway Takbou, I found some dirt on Jude you're going to love." Argo said with a grin. "Let me guess it gonna cost me?" I ask as she held out her hand. I roll my eyes as I pass her a bag of gald. "Pleasure of doing business with Ya Takbou, ok I heard Judie boy ask Maxwell for her hand." She said.

We all look at her shock. "Oh, that right, we forgot to tell you guys, they are getting marry." Leia said as she rubs the back of her head nervously. "Mr goodie two shoes finally pop the question!" I shout. "When the fuck did that happen!" Rika shout as she covers Hikari ears so she couldn't hear the curse. "Some time after the fall of Vale, the hold thing was a wakeup call for them." Alvin said. "Well, I say it about damn time, I said they should just bang each other already." Zoey said. Ludger pat her shoulder. "That remind me, you and I need to have a serious talk about what you say around Elle Zoey." He said in a serious tone as she gulp. I soon burst out laughing. "Oh, fuck yeah, Ivar own ne so much money!" I shout in joy. "You betted on them?" Ruby ask in shock. "Most of us did little red, even sweet little Elize." Ryo said. Elize blush as she hid her face in her hands. "We just wanted to be involved, speaking of with we still get our cut right goggle buddy?" Teepo ask. "Of course." I said. "We should get to the matter at hand." Strabimon said. "Yeah, like there are more Tamers on Salem side then we thought!" Nora shout. I look to Kenji. "Did you know about this?" I ask.

"No, Angela never mention it to me, chances are she probably didn't know to trust me yet when I came back. Sorry if I can't be much help." He said. "What can you tell us about them then?" Goro ask. "Well, you already know about their weapons and semblances from your fights with them. Their Digimon Vupimon and Patamon can reach the ultimate level while Hawkmon can only go to champion." Kenji said. "How come?" Ask Ren. "Hawkmon is one of the few Digimon who can DNA digivolve." Erika said. "DNA digivolve?" Yui ask. "It when two Digimon digivolve into one form." I said. "Hawkmon champion level Aquilamon requires a Gatomon to Digivolve to ultimate." Erika said. "So, wait, Gatomon and combine with Hawkmon?" Ludger ask. "Or at least have access to a Gatomon data." Wormmon said. Wait the gauntlet Ichigo had, it looks a lot like the one Parallelmon have when he gathers the data from Kimeramon and Metalseadramon. Taking data is that what they are for? I shook my head. "Eiter way we have more then enough to worry about." I said.

"Agreed, it why we have to get to Vacuo." Pyrrha said. "And get the next Relic before Salem and her goons do." Kirito said. "Hey Koga, what kind of Grimm should we expect to face in Vacuo?" Miku ask. The wolf Faunus turn to look to us. "The most common are the sand sharks, a side from these we have mantis, death stalkers, terror flies, creeps tajisu and the worst I guess would be the dune crawlers." He said. "What are dune crawlers?" Jaune ask. "Giant worm like Grimm that live deep underground, it rare to run into them." Sven said. "Look like were going to have a lot on our plates." Gabumon said. "Yes, a desert is a very hash place if you're not prepare for it." Dorumon said. "Intense heat, sandstorms, ah it good to be home." Koga said with a grin. He turns to Weiss. "Plus, we get to tell my mom about us." I said. Weiss looks nervous. "Koga be honest with me, will your mother approve of me?" She ask. "No need to worry Weiss, my mom isn't the kind of person to hold grudges." Koga said. "The mutt right, Lupe is one of the nicest people you can meet." Qrow said.

"Hey, I think I can see it." Leia said as we spot the kingdom in the distance. It was how Koga described it, a desert as far as we could see. The port has a few buildings scatter around. "so this is Vacuo?" Oscar said. "That is right, it mostly deserts with several wondering tribes and very few cities." Sven said. "So where should we go?" I ask. "Shade, it the only large city in the kingdom, it was we'll find the school." Qrow said. "And which way is that?" Keisuke ask. I face palm as I realize we have no idea where to go. "Blake!" A voice calls out. We look to see a girl with red hair and freckles wearing a black outfit running to us. "Illa!" Blake shout as she ran to her. 'Who that?" Yang ask. "My cousin Illa, I forgotten that Blake father when he retook control of the white fang that he sent Illa here to help get the Vacuo branch under control." Sven said. "Illa it good to see you, how goes your work?" Blake ask. "Great thanks to the help of Lady Lupe and your boyfriend the white fang here is under control." Illa said. She then saw us. "oh, you must be the rest of Blake friends." She said as she saw Weiss.

"Blake there a Schee here." She said as she whispers to Blake. "It ok Illa she on our side." Blake said. "Illa, I wish you would wait for us." A voice said as we saw a girl ran to us. She was 16, with long tan hair and blue eyes. She wore a black coat with green details and a brown shawl on her shoulders. She has a green skirt and black boots on her back was a large green and back cannon. Next to her was a small blue wolf with a red headband and boxing gloves. "A Digimon." Elize said. Solene checks her D-arc. "[Gaomon rookie level beast Digimon. This pup is skill in hand-to-hand combat as he'll knock you out with his double back hand and rolling upper attacks.]" She said. "No way Kokoro." Futoshi said. "Futoshi, Hiro everyone your here." She said as she starts to cry. "Please you don't need to cry Miss Kokoro." Gaomon said as he comforts his Tamer. "Sorry I'm so happy to see you all, wait where are Ichigo and Misuru?" She ask. "It a long story, but we need to see Miss Lupe right away." Hiro said. "Then it a good thing were here, we got word that a strange ship has enter our waters. So, we came to check it out." Illa said.

"If you follow us, we can take you to shade." Kokoro said as we start to follow them. We cross the desert, it was harsh, but we made it through as it took us an hour and a half to reach a city that look to be made of black stones. There was a large building in the center. "Is that Shade academy?" I ask. "It is it the heart of Vacuo." Kokoro said as we walk to the school. It has a tribal like design to it with a pair of wolf statues outside the doors. We head inside and went up the stairs to an office. Inside sitting at a desk was Lupe. She looks up at us. "Qrow Branwen, I should have known it was you who came in on that ship, you have a knack to drawing attention." She said with a smirk. Qrow shook his head. "Come on Lupe cut me some stack, I would call ahead but." He said. "Right the CCT, so what do I own for this visit besides knowing that my son is safe." Lupe said as Koga laughs nervously. Oscar eyes flash. "Hello Lupe, fortunate you are alright." Ozpin said. Lupe blinks in surprise. "Ozpin so this is where you been. It good to have you back, so how can I help you?" She ask as she got up from her desk.

"Lupe, are you aware of what happen recently in Atlas?" Ozpin ask. "You mean that large Grimm invasion right, yeah it past our borders. From what I heard it wasn't good, there rumors t6hat Atlas was brought to the ground." She said. I chuckle nervously as I rub the back of my head. "Yeah, that was sort of our fault, see ironwood lost his mind when Salem herself show up." I said. Lupe looks to Koga with a concern look. "You know about Salem, and she was there. Your letter never mentions that." She said worry. "Sorry mom I made that letter before Atlas." He said. "Because of this Lupe, the schools are no longer safe for the relics. We have come up with a new plan to protect them." Ozpin said. Lupe crosses her arms. "So, you want to remove the sword of destruction from the summer vault!" She shout. "You need to trust us." Ruby said with a pleading look. "Ozpin you said the sword could be the most dangerous of the four relics because of its power. Are you sure this is the right move?" She ask. Ozpin nod. "It is." He said. Lupe sigh. "Ok Ozpin I'll help." She said. "Thanks Lupe, now we just need Doma to open the vault then we'll be in business." Qrow said.

"Who Doma?" Elize ask. "She my mother older sister and my aunt." Koga said. "And the current Summer Maiden." Ozpin said. 'Was the Summer Maiden." Lupe said sadly as she turns away from us. "No, mom is Aunt Doma?" Koga ask as he was on the verge of tears. "She is, she gone Koga I'm sorry." She said. "What happen?" Leia ask. "It was about 2 weeks ago; a village was being raided by a group of humans calling themselves Exodus." Lupe said. "Exodus their here?" Hiro ask. "You know these monsters?" Illa ask. "We have run ins with them before, we had a feeling they sided with Salem guess we now know it to be true." Rika said. "What did they want?" Asuna ask. "We're not sure, during the last attack, I was in the village with my sister Coco team trying to help. Me and Gaomon got separated from them when we ran into their leader a man name Sinclair." Kokoro said as she hugs Gaomon to her chest. 'So, he is here." Ludger said as he narrows his eyes. "He came after us, we try to fight him off but were no match for him. Then Miss Doma came to our aid and told us to run, when we got clear there was this massive twister and we got knock out. When we came to my sister team was standing over us and Miss Doma was lying dead next to us." She said as she cries. Ikuno pulls her into a hug. "It ok let it out." She said as she comforts her.

"I can't believe this." Koga said as he sat on the floor with his head in his hands. Weiss and Gabumon went to comfort him. "I'm sorry for your lost." I said. "Thank you, your highness." Lupe said. "Lupe what of the power?" Ozpin ask. "I have no idea, my sister was known throughout the kingdom as our best huntress, she was well like by everyone. She forms bonds with many of the people and students. I'm currently looking into the most important ones to see who now has the power." She said. "What about Kokoro, she was the last person to see Doma alive. From what we know the Maiden power transfer to the last woman the host think of." Rika said. "Yeah, Koko could have it." Rina said. Kokoro shook her head. "I'm sorry but it can't be me, I was knock out by the twister after Doma sent me away. Not to mention I'm only a first-year student, there no way she would trust the power to me." She said. "Then I guess were staying in Vacuo longer than we thought." Ren said. "Great." Zoey complains. "So, we need to find the new Summer Maiden before Exodus does, yeah no problem." Ryo said sarcastically.

"Guess it going to be one of those days." Kirito said. The door then suddenly burst open as two people came in. "Lady Lupe we have a problem." One of them said. We turn to see two people we didn't expected. They were none other than Presa and Agria of the Chimeriad. "It can't be." Alvin said shock. "Al it really you?" Presa said. "Oh, great it the pimple." Agria said the same of ever. Guess she hasn't change. "Agria your alive!" Leia shout not believing this. "Of course, I am what you think falling of a chiff will do me in." Agria said. "Ok enough , you can explain how you know each other later; Presa toy were saying?" Lupe said. Presa nod. "We just got a report from the town watchmen, a group of sand sharks are heading our way and there are a lot of them." She said. "Damn and were still recover from that sand storm last week." Lupe said. "Then it a good thing were here." Zorome said. "Are you kids sure?" Lupe ask. "Don't worry maem we got this let go Tamers." I said as we ran outside. once we reach the edge of the city saw black fins poking out of the sand.

One jump out to reveal it to be a large shark like Grimm. "Well, this is gonna be fun." Goro said as we got ready for them. "Let go!" I shout. "Digi-modify Digivolvtion Activate!" We shout.

Gaogamon was large blue wolf with claw gloves on his front legs with his back bandage. He has a white mane and red scarfs around his neck. Koga check his D-arc. "[Gaogamon champion level beast Digimon. He is a savage hunter who will take down his prey with his spiral blow attack.]" He said. "Burn them away Moeru Ryu!" I shout as I change to my ShiKai. "Nensho Surashu!' I shout as I shot the flame slash at them. One sand shark jumps out. "Dragon slash!" Growlmon shout as he smacks it down with his claw. Rika took out of her keys. "Open gate of the golden bull Taurus!" She shout as the bull man appear. "Moo you call?" He ask. "Get them." She said. "On it." He said as he slams his ax against one. "Fox tail inferno!" Kyubimon shout as she shot her fire balls at them. "Pow hammer!" Elize shout as she threw a toy hammer into one. "Tear arrow!" Lekismon shout as she threw an energy spear into on in midair. Kenji saw one jump at him as he stabs him sword through it mouth and shot it to bits. "Burn flame!" Baohackmon shout as torch another one.

Ryo shot his tonfa into one as he then swung it up at one that try to bite at him from above. "Strike fang!" Strikedramon shout as he clashes into the sand forcing several of the Grimm out. Alice swung her bladed whip to grab one and threw it to Dobermon as he tore it apart. Jerico open fire on a few of them as they fall. "Grey horn attack!" Greymon shout as he head butt a few. "Get out of my damn way!" Koga shout as he sent his wolf pack to maul the Grimm. "Howling blaster!" Garurumon shout as he shot his flames at them. "Doryusen!" Hiro shout as he uses a shockwave to force a few out. "Armor metal blade!" Ginryumon shout as he shot some with his spears. "Whirling top!" Zoey shout as she spun to take out two of them. "Tricobezoar!" Meicoomon shout as she shot a hairball into one. Keisuke duck down to stab the underside of one that try to bite at him. "Vantheon!" Zubaeagermon shout as he spins into one. Sven shot his chains into the sand to pull one out. "Power metal!' Dorugamon shout as he shot the spike into it. Ruby dash pass one and cut in half.

"Needle stray!" Togemon shout as she shot her needles at some of them. Weiss stab her sword into the ground to freeze several of them. "Turbo stinger!" Waspmon shout as shatter them to pieces. Blake was able to get on one back and stab it in the head. "Shadow paw!" Blackgatomon shout as she beat one down with her fists. Yang grabs one by its Jaw and hurl it to Grizzlymon who tore it in two. Jaune roll to the right and slash the tail off of one. "Assault claw!" Tialudomon shout as he stabs his claw into the Grimm to finish it. "Magnetize Jikki Otome!" Pyrrha shout as she unleased her ShiKai. "Tetsu myako!" " She shout as she shot a black ball of energy at one as it explodes. Ren shot his cables into one and swung it to Peckmon. "1000 beaks!' He shout as he rapidly pecks it apart. Nora swung her hammer against one that try to grab at her and sent it flying. "Meteor wings!" Birdramon shout as she rain fire balls down on them. Argo shot her arrows at them to stun the Grimm. "Razor wind!" Reppamon shout as he shot his air blades at them. Oscar jab his cane into one to stop it in it tracks. "Crimson slash!" Filmon shout as he quickly slashes it down.

Matt fire a super-heated shell through a few of them. "Mighty flame!" Lavorvomon shout as he burns another one. Rina grin as she did a spin kick on two of them. "Hammer punch!" Veedramon shout as he slams his fist into one. Goro threw his chakram at one while Futoshi smash one with his hammer into one behind Goro. "Core breath!" The Coredramon brother shout as they blast at the Grimm. Zorome was able to punch one in the face as he then grabs another by the tail to melt it. "Pyro punch!" Agunimon shout as he sent a fire ball into one. Miku let out a battle cry as she stabs her claws into a sand shark. "Lobo kendo!" Lobomon shout as he cut one down with his energy swords. Ikuno flip through the air as she shot her laser at them. "Electro shocker!' Kabuterimon as he shot a lighting ball at a few of them. Kokoro pull out her cannon as she shot some of them to bits. " Spiral blow!" Gaogamon shout as he shot a twister from his mouth at a few. "Arc fire!" Ludger shout as he shot flames at them. "Cat laser!" Gatomon shout as she shot them with her eye's beams.

"Darting claw!" Leia shout as she jabs her staff into one. "Tiger blade!" Alvin shout as he slashes one in half. Penny sent out her swords to take out the rest of them. "I swear it never get easy with these things." Miku said. "Agreed, but the city is safe that all that matter." I said. "Now we need to figure out where the Summer Maiden is." Rika said. "Yeah, we do." Koga said as he walks away. "Is he ok?" Solene ask. "I don't know." Weiss said worry. "Come on, let head back." I said. Normal Pov: As the Tamers head back, they were unaware of Sinclair hiding behind a corner. "So, those kids made it here. And Ludger here too, let see if they can do my job for me. But 1st we need to give then a proper welcome to Vacuo." He said as he walks away.

Koga: This wasn't the home coming I was expecting, but I can't let this get me down. We still have a job to do here. Next time on Tales of Tamers Xilla: Chapter 79: Howl of the wolf. Time to show our fangs.

Now I been thinking of adding Sword art online Shion to the story but I'm not sure, if you guys think I should add her let me know in a review. Stay tune to find out what happen next.
