Summary/disclaimer: Time for another Chapter of Virtual Virtues. Enjoy the 900-word chapter. I don't own KLK, Trigger and a few others do.

Gaete fell to the ground as visions floated through his brain. He was surprised, caught off guard entirely. It felt so… Alien at the moment before looking at the chip in question.

It now had a drop of blood on it while the imagines continued to fly through the man.

"Hmm, much more interesting then what I'd assume a human mind is… Interesting." The being said before reappearing in front of the man.

The being took the shape of an orange cybernetic Chinese like dragon before morphing into a ball of goo.

"What's the matter, never seen a Machinaserptia Rex before? Humans are so interesting on how basic they are." The creature stated in a voice that sounded partly machine like and partly like an echoing hiss.

"What the hell are you?" Gaete stated before the digital like figure chuckled and turned back into a dragon. Data began to slowly flake down his body.

"I told you…" The figure said before wings slowly grew out of his body. "But if I had to translate my language to yours? You can call me either Rex, or Tetrarch. Living inside of the virtual web you humans constructed has given mw quite a… Taste for the ancient times of your species." The dragon said as he cocked his head.

"What the hell is a Machinaserptia?" Gaete asked before Rex hummed and flicked his tongue out like a snake.

"Well, if you wish to put it more straightly?" Rex questioned and raised an eyebrow. "Shapeshifting aliens made of digital code. I'm surprised my trip to this planet was so clean and undetected. Then again? You humans will mistake things like radio signals we use to travel to and from your planet." Rex pointed out before looking at Gaete who's eyes turned from jade green to orange.

"How the hell are your eyes…" Rex said before expanding his wings fully.

A man being able to see a Machinaserptia was not common. Considering the fact that they were more or less nothing more then 'organic data'. Rex was interested how Gaete could see him.

"I got blood on that chip." Gaete stated before pointed out the chip which Rex turned to look at.

Rex had come to Earth to kill something. He knew that for sure, but the fact that he had been found by a human?

Then again? Rex had forgotten that computers were also given to other Humans. Rex sighed and turned to the human.

"Well, it seems your lucky." Rex said before floating into one of the computers. It started to flicker as data scrolled across it. Rex's face appeared in the shape of a samurai before flickering back to a dragon. "I don't think a Human and one of my kind have ever been introduced formally. You got a name, kid?" Rex asked in a very bemused tone.

"Gaete Ahane." Gaete muttered while rubbing at his temples in pain. "This isn't real, I must have hit my head on something." Gaete stated while Rex rolled his eyes.

"Ah, the classic tactic of pretending that something is fake." Rex said with a smirk. "Kid? Trust me, I'm surprised that you can see me. My entire species hasn't been seen by humans in centuries… But I'm as real as you can see." Rex stated.

"Yes, because a shapeshifting alien made out of data is a common occurrence on Earth." Gaete deadpanned while Rex hummed.

"You got a lot of spunk for a kid." Rex stated as Gaete hummed and looked around. "I'm surprised though that Earth was able to defeat anything from beyond the stars. But then again? Your people were able to reach the moon from what I've heard." Rex added and let out a sigh.

"I… How long have you been in the computer chip?" Gaete questioned as Rex raised an eyebrow.

"Uh… 10 years I believe?" Rex said as Gaete raised an eyebrow. "What? You manage to talk to a shapeshifting alien who can talk… And the fact that he's been inside a computer chip for ten years is the surprising part?" Rex questioned as Aace sighed and rubbed at his head.

"You know there's a lot worse things in the stars, kid. Trust me." Rex said and looked around the room. "I'm surprised another of those freaks hasn't come back. Just because the Life Fibers are gone doesn't mean their gone for good." Rex said before looking around.

"Should I point out your making NO sense?" Gaete asked before the sound of beeping was heard.

"Uh… What is that?" Gaete asked before Rex blinked and then pushed him back.

"Crap!" He yelled before the wall exploded inward and rained down debris on them.

"What the hell is going on?" Gaete questioned to Rex as something started to snake it's away inside.

"You may want to run…" Rex stated while the giant monster rose up.

Phew. Another chapter done! I'm going to point out that Rex is supposed to be symbiotic to contrast with the Life Fibers being Parasitic. I don't know much about the villains I picked but Gaete is going to meet Satsuki soon. Next chapter will be in 2-5 weeks and will show Gaete and Rex fighting the creature. It will also show some of Gaete's new powers because of Rex. Until then, Lighting Wolf out!
