"So, how long you lived in the internet?" Gaete questioned Rex who hummed. Rex wondered if the Human ever considered that question being asked in a regular context.

"More years then I can remember, Gaete." Rex responded as the duo began to explore. "Why, wondering more about my kind?" Rex questioned Gaete who shrugged.

"No, just curious if you're the only alien I'm going to see." Gaete said, Rex chuckled at the sarcasm evident in his tone.

"I'm going to take a wild guess and say your joking." Rex said before raising an eyebrow. "Eh, I guess I'd do the same. Humans usually think their crazy or it's a dream. Least when it comes to stuff like this." Rex put in as Gaete rolled his eyes.

"I pretty sure I am crazy." Gaete muttered to himself as they passed a clothing store. "I just witnessed a monster destroy my house. A tech alien is in my brain or something. Yeah, I'm kinda sure I'm crazy." Gaete muttered while the duo let out a collective hum.

"Hmm, well I don't think…" Rex started to say with amusement before blinking.

"Why'd you get so quiet at the moment?" Gaete questioned while Rex pulled himself from the glasses.

"I smell something… Energy. A lot of energy." Rex stated which made Gaete raise an eyebrow. "Whoever it is? Their powerful, I'm smelling nothing but power and killing intent coming off them." Rex added as Gaete frowned.

"Another of those monsters?" Gaete asked, Rex shook his head back and forth. "Then what? I'm not really an expert on your abilities. I don't know what the hell is really going on to be fair." Gaete questioned Rex who took another sniff of the air.

"A human?" Rex asked and looked to the side. "Hmm. I shouldn't be able to smell humans. I've gotten used to their smell." Rex said and cocked his head slightly.

"What human?" Gaete asked, a few people looked at him. "Who? You can cut the dramatics. I'm not a psychic." Gaete questioned Rex while he blinked.

"I don't know to be sure." Rex said with curiosity. "But whoever they are? They seem like an extraordinary human considering how much power and energy I smell. Kid? See if you can find them, I've not smelt anything like this before." Rex stated to his ally.

"Can you find them at least so I can try and locate them?" Gaete questioned to Rex who only nodded before vanishing. Gaete looked at the dragon like glasses.

"I'll do what I can." Rex said while Gaete leaned on the side of a building. "I'm sure that whoever this human is? Their someone we're be seeing a lot more of them. I can smell them like fresh rain drops." Rex stated to Gaete.

"Rain doesn't smell like anything." Gaete said with a smile as Rex rolled his eyes. "It doesn't, are you talking about dew drops?" Gaete questioned Rex who could only give a mental shrug to him.

Rex let out a mental chuckle before falling silent. He could smell the power from Gaete. He was fused to the human after all.

'Maybe humans are worth more than I believe they are.' Rex thought to himself and cracked his neck.

"Their north." Rex stated simply stated which made Gaete turn and look at them with an incredulous look.

"Great direction, lizard lips." Gaete muttered and started to walk towards said direction. "Do you even know much of anything about who I'm looking for?" Gaete questioned Rex who was silent.

"They were a very powerful human." Rex said, appearing in Gaete's lenses. "I seem to smell a second being that's attached to them, similarly to us…. Hmm, their a very interesting human. A woman. Kid?" Rex said and took a deep breath to continue.

"I can only smell/sense power when its super strong. And this being is very powerful for a mere human." Rex stated to Gaete who only shook his head at his newest friend.

"You know you can stop calling them 'Humans'." Gaete responded to Rex. "Literally EVERY time you mention Humans it makes me sigh. Just say people, it isn't like we're surrounded by alien species." Gaete added as Rex shook his head.

"Humans are alien to my species, buddy." Rex responded to Gaete. "Besides, whatever else I'm smelling coming from this woman? It isn't human, least it isn't 100%." Rex added while Gaete simply crossed his arms.

"Well, just keep me updated if you locate anything." Gaete put in to Rex. "I'm going to need to at least know WHO I'm supposed to be looking for." Gaete added in and looked to the sky.

"I'll keep you updated, I'm not magic." Rex responded to Gaete who said nothing.

"I wonder what's going to happen next." Gaete muttered to himself.

Rex said nothing. He was far more interested in what would happen next anyway.

Phew. Another chapter done! I want to point out that Gaete and Satsuki will meet next chapter. Next chapter will be in 2-9 or so weeks and will show Gaete and Satsuki meeting along with Rex finding out about her gear. Until then, Lighting Wolf out!
