84. The 3rd Relic

Hello and welcome to the next chapter of Tales of Tamers Xilla! Today is the final chapter of the Vacuo arc, with this the gang will be one step closer to stopping Salem. So let get to the chapter! Last time on Tales of Tamers Xilla: The gang continue their search for the Summer Maiden, as Kokoro was blaming her self for Doma death. She consire herself to be a burden to the others now and back her past life. The gang try to convice her that that wasbn't the case, that she is strong in her own right. But then Daniel Pyre appear and accuse Kokoro of being the Summer Maiden since she was the last one to seen Doma alive. Kokoro denied this as she couldn't remember what really happen that day. Pyre then sent a Pilevolcamon on the Tamers as they try to fight him off. But they were no match as Pyre blame Kokoro for their suffering. but then something snap in her as she recalls what happen on the day Doma dies. Doma entrusted the power to her because she knew Kokoro kind heart was worthy of it. Kokoro accept the power as she vows to use it to protect those she loves. This let her and Gaomon to reach their mega form Miragegaogamon and defeat Pilevolcamon. Not that they found the Maiden the Tamers can now open the summer vault and claim the sword of destruction.

Chapter 84

The 3rd relic

Normal Pov: Exodus base: Upon returning to the exdous base Daniel Pyre sat on a crate upset by his latest lost. Which is the reason for Cinder to glare down at him. "So, you had the Summer Maiden in your grasp but wasn't able to capture her. And what more you allow her to awaken her power!" She shout. "Piss off cyclops, it that stupid Digimon fault that we lost." He said. "Guess this is why you don't sent a boy to do a man job." Sinclair said with aa chuckle. "Like you did anything, your the reason were in this mess." Emerald said. Sinclair turn his head to look at her. "And if I recall, you guys mess up in Mistral and cost us the lamp, oh and let not forget about Atlas too." He said. "Those sound like fighting words." Mercury said as he cracks his knuckles. Sinclair grin as he draws his scythe. "Maybe they are care to dance." He said. Emerald pulls her out her gun and point it at the back of his head. "You need to learn your place." She said as she found Daniel blade at her neck. "I could say the same to you." He said. Cinder forms a sword in her hand. "You should watch who you are threatening." She said.

Mercury soon spots something that cause him to panics. "Uh guys." He said getting their attention. They all turn to see a seer Grimm floated into the room. "Oh no." Emerald said scare. The Grimm shake and drop to the ground as black smoke leaks out and turn into an image of Salem. Cinder and company quickly bow to the Grimm queen. "Care to explain why you are fighting like children?" She ask as she crosses her arms. "Forgive us my lady, we were having a mile disagreement." Cinder said. Salem nods. "I can see, but you will have to put that matter on hold. My dear cinder, do you have a report for me?" Salem ask. Cinder lifts her head up. "I do, we discover the one who has claimed the mantle of the Summer Maiden. We are just waiting for my spy to find the location of the summer vault." She said. Salem smiles. "Excellent, let us hope we obtain the sword before they do. If not, we can recover it with the other relics." She said. "That may be a problem boss, the Tamers greatlt out number us. Not to mention most of the Exodus guys we had were capture." Sinclair said.

'Worry not, I ready a mass a Grimm force in Vacuo, alert me of where the Vault is, and I shall send them." Salem said. "At once my lady." Cinder said with a vile grin. Takato Pov: It been a day or so since we discover Kokoro is the Summer Maiden. This means we can now get into the summer vault to get the sword. We all sat in Lupe office expect for Gankoomon who sat on the balcony because of his size. "I don't believe it." Zoey said as she sat on Hiro lap. "It true she the Maiden." Nora said. "No offense Kokoro, but you the least threatening person I know." Zoey said. "She doesn't need to be threatening to be a Maiden pinkie." Rika said. "That is true, I am the Winter Maiden and I'm not threatening." Penny said with a smile. "That depends on who your enemy is Penny." Ruby said. "Anyway, the only sigh that prove someone to be a Maiden are the flames that comes out of their eyes." Pyrrha said. "And my little sis have them so that prove it." Coco said. "Either way we have Kokoro, so let head to the vault and get the relic." Biyomon said. "Agree, the sooner we obtain it the sooner we can secure it in Spyros." Renamon said.

I look to Lupe. "Shall you show us to the Vault?" I ask. She sighs. "I wish it was that east Takato, you see the vault isn't here." She said. "What, but the vault is supposed to be under the school!" Jerico shout. "Yes, but this isn't the original school but a replacement." She said. "Then what happen to the original?" Ask Meicoomon. "About a 100 years ago the 1st Shade academy was far outside of the was an earthquake that cause it to sink into the ground. Only the high Tower remains above ground." Koga said. "You know about this Ozpin?" Ryo ask. Oscar eyes flash as Ozpin took control. "Indeed, Lup Grandfather who was in charge at the time told me that the vault was intact. This was a blessing in disguise, so we decided to build a new school as a decoy." He said. "So, you wanted to use the students back then as bait!" Elize shout shock. "That cruel Mr. Ozpin." Solene said. "That was never my intention girls, I told you I was done holding anything back from you." He said. "Let hope so, lying only lead to no good." Alvin said. "You know that better than anyone else uncle." I said. "Agree." Persa said.

"But their idea work, we can just go to the old school and get the relic out of the Kingdom before anyone notice." Jaune said. "The Teams Cfvy and Sssn can hold down the fort while were gone." Lupe said. "So, how far of a hike do we have to take?" Qrow ask. "It about an hour away in Wolf canyons." She said. 'We should get going then." I said. "Wait where Rollo?" Elle ask as she frantically look around for fat cat. We soon saw the catwalk in. "There you are." Ludger said. "Wonder where he went." Gatomon said. "No idea, but we got to go." Yang said. "Right let move." I said. it took us about an hour to cross the desert to reach a large canyon. As we walk into it, I look at the rocky wall that surround us. "A good place to get ambush." I said. "Yeah, we should stay on guard." Hiro said. "Miss Lupe, how much further?" Blake ask. "Not far it should be just up head." Lupe said as we came to a short building. There were no doors, only a short window. "Take it we'll have to climb in?" Ikuno ask. "Yes, once we in we'll have to make our way to the lowest level to access the vault." Lupe said. But then the Digimon when stiff as they got on edge.

"What is it guys?" Keisuke ask. Renamon vanish and reappear on the ridge. Rika eyes suddenly widen in shock. "Grimm and lots of them are heading our way." She said. "How can you know that?" Weiss ask. "Believe it or not, Renamon can form a mental link with those she cares for. I saw them through her eyes." Rika said. "How did they find us?" Ren ask. "We can worry about that later we need to take them out." Noir said. "Right here the plan, me, Rika, Ludger, the girls, Lupe and Kokoro will head down to the vault and get the relic." I said. 'I'll like to come too in case their trouble." Ciel said. "Alright." I said. "Then the rest of us will take care of the Grimm." Hiro said. "Leave it to us Takbou." Argo said with her normal grin. "Good luck guys." Hikari said as we climb into the building. Hiro Pov: As the other head into the ruin school, the rest of us head to the entrance of the canyon. There we saw a large horde of Grimm marching toward us. "That a lot of Grimm." Yang said. "So, what the plan Hiro?' Goro ask. 'Have the Digimon Digivolve to ultimate. We have to keep them out of the canyon and buy time for the others to get the relic." I said. "Digi-modify Matrix Digivolvtion activate!" We shout.

Zoey shout as she sent the energy whirlwind at a Death stalker to push it back. "Crush claw!" Meicrackmon shout as she crushes it head in. "Ignite terror!" Shout Elize as she fires the purple energy beam at them. "Lunatic dance!" Cresenmon shout as she cut down a few of them. Kenji shot an ice round into a sand shark that jump at him. "Meteor flame!" Saviorhackmon shout as he shot fire balls at them. Ryo use his staff to jump onto a terror fly back and shot it in the head. "Desolation claw!' Cyberdramon shout as he blasts through a group of them. Alice was riding on Cerberusmon back as he shot out flames to turn the Grimm to ash. Jerico threw his burning double bladed sword to behead a crawler. "Giga storm!" Metalgreymon shout as he shot the orange beam to burn a path through them. Koga use his semblance to send his wolves against a group of Creepers.

"Full moon kick!" Weregarurumon shout as he rounds house kick a sand shark. Keisuke ran under a diving tajisu and drag his sword through it under side. "Blind!" Duramon shout as he finish it off. Sven got on top of the ride to snipe at the Grimm. "Metal meteor!" Dorugreymon shout as he destroys a group of mantis. Ruby was running around the battle slicing up ant Grimm she run into. "Flower cannon!" Lillymon shout as she blasts a few of them apart. Weiss summon a manticore as it charges into the Grimm. "Nitro stinger!" Cannonbeemon shout as she clears a path with her cannon blast. Blake ran through as she cut down a mantis. "Darkness wave!" Ladydevimon as she took out some terror flies. We saw a crawler charging in at us. Yang shot pass us and got infront of it. She grab it forcing it to stop. "Animal nail!" Pandamon shout as he slash it down with his claws. Jaune slam his shield down to fire the shockwave to stop a sand shark. "Messar arms!" Raijinludomon shout as he shot his arm at it. "Satetsu no ya!" Pyrrha shout as she shot iron sand spears at a group.

Ren shot his smgs cables into the wall to pull it down onto some creepers. "Savage emperor!" Crowmon shout as he sent the lighting blast to take out a crawler. Nora let out a cry as she crush a mantis with her hammer. "Wing blade!" Shout Garudamon as she sent the cnstruct at a tajisu. A terror fly flew at Oscar as he put up a barrier to stop it and then stab it with his cane. "Vermillion vortex!" Stefillmon shout as he launch his spikes at them. Argo wrap her whip around a sand shark tail and use it like wrecking ball. "Wind cutter sword!" Chirinmon shout as he dash pass a death stalker cutting it down. Matt shot a super-heated shot through a crawler head. 'Wild blast!" Lavogaritamon shout as he blasts several Grimm. Rina jump into the air to kick a tajisu in the face. "Dragon impulse!" Shout Aeroveedramon as he shot the dragon shape blast into a group. "Guren juuohua!" Flaremon shout as he shot down a crawler. "Double circular!" Shout Kirito as he dashes forward to strike down several terror flies. "Dark master!" Kaiserleomon shout as he forms the darkness lion to charge through them. "Shooting star!" Asuna shout as she charges through thrusting her sword at them. "Titianic twist!" Calmaramon shout as she spun to take out a dozen of them.

Jeri uses her broad sword to slice down a few sand shark. "King of fist!" Grappleomon shout as he punches a twister at them to blow them away. Gro use his lighting charge ax to take out a mantis. "Sonic blaze breath!" Wingdramon shout as he shot down some terror flies. Futoshi slam his hammer as a couple of creepers. "Scrap claw!" Grounddramon shout as he pushes a death stalker back. Zorome grab a sand shark by the teeth and melted it. "Wildfire tsunami!" Burninggreymon shout as he launches the burning wave of flames at them. Miku let a creep phase through her as she then stabs it in the head. "Lupine laser!" Shout Kendogarurumon as he shot a white beam at a sand shark. Ikuno shot a pair of laser at some terror flies. "Horn buster!" Megakabuterimon shout as he blast a death stalker. "Bless fire!" Noir shout as she gun down some creepers. "Divine priece!" Blanc shout as she shot the beam into a tajisu. "Varrible blaster!" Alvin shout as he shot a large beam at them. "Staff rain!" Leia shout as she did a barrge strike upon the Grimm. "Dragon claw!" Presa shout as she sent a water claw at the Grimm. 'Spiral blaze!" Agria shout she stabs a spinning burning blade into one.

Qrow swung his scythe to behead a crawler. Penny was using her laser to help clear the skies. "Damn there too many of them." Koga said as Gankoomon walk forward. "Allow me children." He said as he walk to the front of the canyon. "What he doing?" Jaune ask. "What father does best." Noir said. "He going to wreck them good!" Blanc cheer. "Blast quake fire farther!" Gankoomon shout as a gold dragon man like spirit came out of his back. It slams its fist onto the ground firing an explosive shock wave that wipe out the rest of the Grimm like it was nothing. "Holy shit!" Yang shout. "So this is the power of the royal knights." Alcie said. "I must say that was impressive." A voice said. We look to see Daniel, Emerald and Mercury walking to us. "Great these Douch bags." Said annoy Ryo. "Daniel." I said. "Long time no see Hiro." He said. "Sup blondie." Mercury said. Yang cracks her knuckles. "Good I get another chance to kick your ass." Yang said. "Look at this guys, its Atlas tin can is back." Emerald said as she looks at Penny. "From what I know you're the one who trick Pyrrha into destroying me." Penny said as she deploys her swords. "If you want the relic you have to go through use first!" I shout.

Hiro, Yang and Penny vs Daniel, Mercury, and Emerald

"Gladly, Homura dama!" Daniel shout as he fires the flame slash at us. the 3 of us shatter. "Ryusuisen-jan!" I shout as jump and dive at him as he quickly jumps back. Mercury thrust his leg at Yang and to fire several shots at her. Yang ran at him dodging his attacks. She got close and punch him in the chest. He tries to spin kick her as she grabs his leg and threw him back. Emerald aims her revolvers at Penny and open fire on her. Penny spun her sword to block the shots. Emerald narrow her eyes at Penny as the android threw her swords at her. The dark skin girl quickly rolls out of the way. "What, why isn't my semblance working on you!" She shout. Penny smirk. "My eyes can filter out your illusions." She said. Emerald change her weapons into karmas and charge at Penny. I look to Daniel. "Ryusosen!" I shout as I gave him a barrage of strikes. He was able to parry them as he move back. "Guren kaina!" He shout as he shot the explosion at me. "Ryudosen!" I shout as I strike the earth to counter it. "Try this." Daniel said as he swung his sword and made several fire balls.

"Bureizuru ketto!" He shout as he sent them at me. I quickly flip back to avoid them. "Ok that new." I said. "You like it, it one of the new tricks I learn." He said with a smirk. I got to end this now. I soon dash toward him. "Burn Hiro, Todoroku hono!' He shout as he shot a flame blast at me. I slide under it and get to the right of him. I move my left foot forward. "This will be the final strike! Amakakeru Ryu no Hirameki!" I shout as I land the final strike to his chest. Daniel was sent flying into the rocky wall. that one down. I look to see Yang Swing at Mercury as the grey hair boy kick back at her. Yang use her robotic hand to block it as she has him one punch to the face. She follows up with the second to his right shoulder and a 3rd to the chest that force him to slide back. He let out a growl. "I'm taking you down!" He shout as he jumps and did a heel kick at her with his right leg. Yang hair lit up as her eyes turn red as she uppercut his leg shattering it into bits. Mercury cries out as he rolls against the ground. Yang smirk. "Nail it." She said. Emerald was wildly trying to take Penny head off.

The orangette dodges each strike with no trouble as she then swung her sword at Emerald. The greenette parry it with her karma and then shot at Penny who block it. "I won't lose to some stupid fucking machine!" She shout. Penny glare at her as she grabs Emerald karmas. "I'm not a machine, I am alive!" She shout as Emerald weapons start to freeze over as Penny then crushes them. Emerald gasp in shock as Penny slam her fist into her face forcing the villains to land by her fallen allies. This fight is over. I walk to Daniel and point my sword at him. "It over Daniel, give up." I said. He smirks at me. "No Hiro it not, our part is done for today, til next time." He said as he drops a smoke bomb to blind us. When the smoke clears, they were gone. "Coward!" Matt shout. "Let them go, we clear the Grimm, it up to the others now." Ryo said. "Right." I said. But what Daniel said has me worry. I hope the other are ok. Takato Pov: While the others went to handle the Grimm, our group head into the ruins of the old school. From there Lupe lead us down to the lowest level of the school. We soon came to the old lobby.

Lupe turn to look at an old banner. "So much history here, it was my family that help built this school, for years we have watch over it." She said. "It must mean a lot to you." Ludger said. She chuckles. "It does, but there no time to walk down memory lane, we have a job to do." She said as she moves the banner to reveal a mark shape like a wolf paw. She taps each of the claws in a certain order and then press the center. The ground shake as the mark and part of the wall slides up to reveal secret passage with a staircase going down. "Amazing." Kokoro said in awe. "Of course, there a secret door." Rika said with a roll of her eyes. "Let be off." Ciel said as we walk down the stairs. We walk down them for a while until we came to a large room. There we see a large red door with a pair of cross swords on it. "There it is the Summer Vault." Lupe said. "Woah that a big door." Elle said. "Really big." Hikari said as they check it out. "Ok Kokoro let open it up." I said. "Uh right, how do I do that?" She ask. "Simply touch the door dear." Lupe said. Kokoro walk to the door and place her hand on it. It glows red as it split down the middle and slides opens.

It reveals a field of flowers with a pestival in the center, in it was a large broad sword. Its blade was red while the hilt and handle was gold with a blue gem in the center. "There it is the sword of destruction." Ludger said. "Now it is ours." A voice said. We look to see it was Cinder and Sinclair. "The hell, how are they here?" Rika ask. "Rollo where are you going?" Elle ask as the cat went to Cinder side. He was cover by pink flakes as he turns into Neo. "Neo, damnit why couldn't I sense her?" I ask. "Her semblance must be stronger than we thought." Renamon said. "Hey where Rollo you jerk!" Elle shout. Neo took out her scroll. "Don't worry your kitty is still at the school enjoying the can of tuna I gave him." She said. "Now hand over the Maiden and the relic." Cinder said as she forms a sword in her hand. "Like hell bitch, I have a score to settle with you." Rika said. "I agree, you are a threat to my mistress plan Rika Stellar, so you need to die." She said. "Hey Ludger, you got any stronger?" Sinclair ask. Ludger took out his sword. "Let find out." He said. Sinclair laugh. "Yeah lets." He said as he tackles into Ludger into the vault.

Takato go help Ludger, we can handle this." Ciel said as she draws her sword. "Right." I said as I ran into the vault to help Ludger. Rika Pov: As the boys went into the vault, the rest of us got ready to take down Cinder. This fight is long over do. "Miss Lupe watch over the girls." I said. "Of course, come along girl." She said. "Wait Gatomon you ready." Elle said. "Do you even need to ask." She said. "Digi-modify Matrix Digivolvtion activate!" Elle shout.

Tamers vs Cinder

Cinder came charging at us as she slashes her sword. Ciel quickly block it with her sword and kick upwards at her as Cinder move back. She then shot a fire ball at us. "Aqua current!" I shout as I shot the water blast to counter it. She moves to dodge it and sent her Grimm arm at us. "Heaven charm!" Angewomon shout as she fires a pink energy wave to stun the claw making Cinder cry out. She then growls. "You pest!" She shout as she swung her arm to form several burning spears. She thrust her hand out to fire them at us. "Diamond storm!" Renamon shout as she shot her diamond to counter the assault. Cinder them threw her sword at us follow by 3 more. I quickly form my short swords and swung to shatter her weapons. Kokoro quickly came up behind her and shot her cannon at Cinder. The Fall Maiden quickly run to avoid the shots as she ran into Gaomon who try to kick her. She did spin kick to knock him back. "She strong." Kokoro said. "Let see how she like this." I said as I walk to a puddle form from my attack from earlier. I place a key in it.

"Open gate of the water bearer Aquarius!" I shout as the mermaid spirit appears. "What did I say about puddles!" She shout at me. "Not the time we got a bitch to put down." I said as she looks at Cinder and grin. "Oh, it her, Ok I'll let it go this time. Hey cyclops eat this! "Aquarius shout as she swung her urn to send a wave of water at Cinder. Cinder held up her hand as the water suddenly turn to ice? How is that possible, I thought Cinder power was that of fire. Unless this is the power of the Maiden. The ice soon shatters as Cinder smirk at us. "Not a bad effort Rika but it not enough." She said as she forms a spear. "Now you must pay for your weakness!" She shout as she threw it. But it wasn't at us, it was aim at. "Hikari!" I scream as the attack head for my daughter. She looks at the spear as it came near her. No please no. But suddenly the spear shatter before it could hit her. We saw Kokoro weapon was smoking form the shot it fire. She turns to Cinder with a look of absolute fury and hatred in her eyes. "How dare you, you would attack a defenseless child!" She shout. Cinder grin as she places her hand on her hip.

"I will reach my goal by any means; I don't care who may die along the way as long as I get what I want." She said with no remorse in her voice. "You have no heart you monster; I will never forgive you!" Kokoro screams as blue flames explodes from her eyes. She held up her hand as she shot a power whirlwind into Cinder forcing her back. Ciel ran at Cinder. 'White clover slash!" She shout slash Cinder in the back. "Power paw!" Renamon shout as she slams her fist into Cinder face. "Rolling upper!" Gaomon shout as he uppercut Cinder to launch her into the air. "Celestial arrow!" Angewomon shout as she shot the arrow and blast Cinder into the ground. Now to end this. "Star of the cosmos shine down upon me." I said as I hit Cinder with several glowing shots. I then ready the large energy arrow. "And show me my destiny, Shooting star arrow!" I shout as I let it fly and slam into Cinder and blast her into the ground. She got to her knees and look up to see me aiming at her head. "Still believe in destiny bitch." I said as Sinclair fly out with a gash on his chest. What the hell? Takato Pov:

Takato and Ludger vs Sinclair

Once I got into the vault, I saw Ludger was holding off Sinclair. "Terror swing!" Sinclair shout as he swung at Ludger. "Whirling assault!" Ludger shout as he spun to block it. "Burn them away Moeru Ryu!" I shout as I change to my ShiKai. "Demon wave!" I shout as I sent the slash wave at Sinclair as he dodges in time. "Well look who join the party, Dark volt!" Sinclair shout as he shot a lighting blast at us. "Sanctuary!" Ludger shout as he uses his hammer to form a barrier to block it. "Byakurai!" I shout as I shot a kido arte at the scythe user. "Hellfire!" He shout as he shot black flames to counter me. We rollout of the way to dodge them. "Meteoritic waltz!" Ludger shout as he shot the ground to cause earth spikes to shoot up. "Resha!" I shout as I shot the fire balls at him. Sinclair quickly jump back to avoid them. "Not bad, but enough games boys." He said as he took out a black pocket. In a flash of light, he was in a level 3 Chromatus form. His body was cover in a black body suit with purple markings. There were purple spikes on his back and shoulders as his hair was now black with purple highlights.

Oh, this is not good. His scythe starts to glow a deep purple. "Now meet your demise for it time for the reaper to collect Reaper wrath!" He shout as he swung his scythe to send a pillar of purple light at Ludger to blast him back. I flash step near him to help him up. "You, ok?" I ask. He nods. "Yeah, but we need to take him out." Ludger said as he forms two lance and charge at him. "Endless waltz!" Ludger shout as he gave Sinclair a barrage of slashes that leave a gash in his chest. "Bankai: Shinku Moeru Ryu-o no Kiba!" I shout as I don my Bankai armor. I flash step to the sword of destruction and grab it. I was able to pull it out of the pestival. "The relic, you can't think you can use it kid." Sinclair said. I grin at him. "Wanna bet, let see what this thing can do!" I shout as raise it up as red e3nergy gather around it.

I let out a loud battle cry as I brought the blade down and fire a large red energy wave at him. He screams as he was blasted out of the vault as there was a large trench in the ground. We change back to normal. "Holy shit." I said as I look at the sword in my hands. Soon the ground start to shake. "We better go." Ludger said. "Right." I said as we ran out of the vault and back to the girls. We saw Cinder and Sinclair were getting up. "Damn you Stellar I lose to you!" Cinder shout as Parallelmon appear. "if you do not wish to be bury it time for us to depart." He said. "Yep, time to go Cindy." Sinclair said. Cinder growls enrage as they vanish. The shaking becomes worst. "What going on?" Lupe said. "I guess when I use the sword it causes the cavern to become unstable, we got to get out of here." I said as I pick up Hikari. "Let go." Elle said as she jumps into Angewomon arms. We quickly ran as fast as we could to get to the top of the ruins. We jump out the window as the school sank into the ground. "You guys, ok?" Jaune ask. "Barely vomit boy." Rika said.

"Is that the relic?" Solene ask as they saw the sword on my back. "Indeed, this is the most dangerous one of all of them." Ozpin said. "Well, we got it before Cinder and her lackies did." A cheerly Jerico said. "That only leave one left to get." Weiss said. "Yes, there only one place left to go." I said. "Were going back to Vale." Ruby said as we all stare at the sword.
