Authoress Note: Welcome to Chapter 19 of As The World Falls Down. I want to thank those who have left reviews for this story. It truly does mean a lot to me that you guys are enjoying this story. I'm trying my best to make each chapter as good as I can. But since I'm working on 3 long fics that deal with the Marvel movies and series it does take quite a bit to write them all out. Hopefully, everyone will enjoy this next chapter. Without further ado Chapter 19. ENJOY!
Chapter 19
Alexia's and Pepper's eyes went to the screen seeing that something bad was going on.
Happy appeared at the door holding up the case that Tony had with him earlier.
Pepper and Alexia quickly went to the car and got into the car with Happy at the wheel. Pepper looked up at Happy. "Go, go."
"Hang on." Happy said as he drove towards the track. He crashed the car through the barrier and onto the track heading the opposite way of the race cars.
Alexia gripped the back of the seat in concern. She could only hope that Tony was alright and wouldn't get hurt from what was going on.
"Give me the case." Pepper snapped as they were weaving in and out of the other cars.
"Here, take it." Happy said tossing it over the seat missing Pepper and hitting Alexia with it.
"Ouch! Where's the key?" Alexia snapped as she held it close to her body.
"It's in my pocket." Happy said as he began to dig for the key in his pocket.
"Car!" Pepper shouted.
Happy weaved around the car that was headed in their direction.
Alexia slid onto the seat bumping up against Pepper. "Quit digging in your pocket Happy and watch for the cars."
Happy nodded his head firmly knowing that this needed to be done. He passed quite a few cars and saw the man swinging whips around.
"Holy…" Alexia said with wide eyes rather scared of what was going on.
Happy slammed the car into Ivan causing him to go right into the fence.
Tony was up the fence hanging on. He looked down at Happy. "Are you okay?"
Happy looked up at his boss. "Yeah."
"Were you heading from me or him?"
"I was trying to scare him."
"'Cause I can't tell!"
Pepper narrowed her eyes at Tony. "Are you out of your mind?"
"Better security." Tony pointed out.
"Get in the car right now!" Alexia snapped at her brother, narrowing her eyes at her brother. She couldn't believe that he would do something so reckless and not think of anything other than being attacked.
"I was attacked. We need better security."
"Get in the car." Happy said looking up at his boss.
"You're CEO. Better security measures. God, it's embarrassing." Tony opened the door. "First vacation in two years."
Suddenly Ivan sliced the door in half.
Alexia jumped back bumping into Pepper.
"Oh my God!" Pepper said in shock.
Happy flipped the car into reverse and backed up before running into Ivan once again. "I got him!"
"Hit him again. Hit him again. Football." Tony snapped looking at his friend.
"I got him."
"Take the case! Take it!" Pepper snapped.
Happy continued to hit Ivan with the car. "Give him the case!"
"Stop banging the car!"
Suddenly the airbag came out of the car and Ivan sliced the car in half.
"Calm down."
"God. God."
"Give me the case! Please! Come on!"
Alexia moved and threw the case at him hitting him with it as it landed on the ground.
Tony stood on it and it turned into an Iron Man suit. Tony moved quickly to fight Ivan.
Alexia groaned, shaking her head lightly. "Idiot." She shakily got out of the car as Tony ripped out the arc reactor that was in Ivan's suit.
The police surrounded Ivan, putting cuffs on him.
Ivan spits out blood toward Tony and Alexia. "You… You lose. You lose Stark."
The mask slid away from Tony's face as he looked at Alexia out of the corner of his eyes.
Alexia's eyes met his worry crossing her face. She knew that they needed to do something and it wasn't going to be easy for them to do this. "Tony, you know we have to do something."
Tony swallowed the lump in his throat and nodded his head. He knew that his sister was right. He turned his attention fully to her. "You alright?"
Alexia looked up at her brother. "I'm alright. But never do something like this again." She told him softly, shaking her head. "I have no idea what the hell you were thinking of racing…"
"I'm sorry."
Alexia shook her head knowing fully well enough that he wasn't sorry in the least bit.
