Alison's Point of View

Today was the day after Christmas. Dad was to talk to me about something important.

"Alison, I know that you want to continue your mission to discover why there's trouble with the magic barrier on the Isle, but we have decided to put another person in with you. Braig will be accompanying you for the rest of this mission." Dad explained. "What?! How is that even going to work?! Have you completely lost it?!" I shrieked. Braig teleported into the room.

"Pipe down Princess. It's not as though it's going to be long-term or anything." Braig said. I glared at him.

"What? Don't like the name?" He teased. I turned back to Dad.

"You can't expect me to put up with him." I whined. "You'll find that I can, and you will." Dad insisted. "But Dad." I groaned. "Alison, there's nothing to debate. He's going and that's final. Now, he will be going in as a villain. It's rare but new villains do get taken every once in a while. He is going to see what he can find as a villain. Whoever's doing this will have a higher chance at telling Braig than you." Dad stated. "You're gonna be leaving soon, so you better get ready. I'll come sometime after you." Braig smirked. I let out an exasperated growl as I walked to my room.

As a matter of fact, I did have enough time to post a chapter on Christmas after all. It isn't a Christmas chapter, but hey, are you really gonna complain? Merry Christmas everybody. 🎁

Thank you JJ for your review.
