"Roads ahead"
It was a beautiful day everyone was having breakfast. "The sun is shining, no dinosaurs are chasing us, and most importantly, breakfast is served." Sammy said.
"Feels weird to have nothing to worry about for once." Yaz said.
Her smiles turned to frown "What is it?" Sammy asked.
"Something just doesn't feel right." Yaz said.
The two sat down "What doesn't feel right?" Sammy asked.
"I guess it just doesn't feel the same without Shadow." Yaz said.
"Maybe we can go look for him." Sammy said.
"No! We'll be leaving soon and I don't feel like breaking his heart when I tell him that." Yaz said.
Sammy put her hand on Yaz's shoulder.
In the redwoods biome Shadow was walking now that the island is safe he's waiting for Yaz to come back to him. Shadow soon saw how the Union of Progressive People have brought in more dinosaurs.
A colony of Pachycephalosaurus trying to find a good place to call home. Shadow was walking right by them. He knows he can't take on a whole colony but Shadow wasn't interested in eating some of them he always preferred to eat meat left for him.
Two of the raptors that attacked Yasmina and Sammy saw him. They remember him. Shadow displays hostile attitude towards them.
"Mae! What are you doing over here?" Ben asked.
"I'm quite busy. I can't talk right now." Mae said.
"That's okay. We're just looking for..." Ben was cut off.
"That's nice. You should probably get going so you can find it." Mae said.
"Ben, if you can't get Firecracker under control, you should just put her back in the nursery pen." Mae said.
"What? Mae, how ould you say that?" Ben asked.
"Doctor's orders. I don't have time to discuss it. Now please go. I have important work to do." Mae said.
The four leaves. Mae went back inside "Was that really necessary?" Mae asked.
"You know we can't have them snooping around here." Daniel said.
"It's cold considering what you got her and me to do." Landon said.
"We're close, bosses. Few more tweaks, and these things will turn a T-Rex into the world's largest lizard puppet." Kash said.
"That's a way to put it." Landon said.
"Right. I'll save the good spiel for the presentation." Kash said.
"It's likely he'll just replace you with his idiotic son." Landon said.
Hunter was cleaning some dirt off of him. He looked in the mirror and saw himself but this time his hair was spikey down by the neck and on the right side. His eyes were purple. "Oh Hunter how thrilling to see how things are." Hunter's inner voice said.
"How are you still here dad got rid of you." Hunter said.
"Well, the virus made two versions of us. Or is it you? Or me? Regardless the virus made me, you know the name you've always hated when I was younger." the inner voice said.
"It's over now." Hunter said.
"Well, we know it's not my best friends will make sure we make out to the end. Also fun fact the virus is apparently a multiverse thing existing in different universes. It gave me the sight to peek into other universes. Oh boy I'm personally excited to see the universe where Yasmina, Sammy, and Ben meets me, and two other kiddies." the inner voice said.
"Nice job being crazy." Hunter said.
"Face it Hunter you enjoyed being crazy." the inner voice said.
He walked away but almost appeared as burning ashes.
"Mae was acting weird, right?" Noah asked.
"If you can't get her under control, you should put her back in the nursery pen!" Ben mimicked Mae.
"It just doesn't sound like Mae." Elisa said.
"well, accents have never been my thing." Ben said.
"I think she was trying to tell us to check out the nursery." Elisa said.
"Then why not just say that?" Noah asked.
"The nursery is where Landon locked up Kash!" Ben said.
"Let's go." Elisa said.
Elsewhere near the infected raptor egg was laying. Two raptors approach the nest. A baby raptors faces the first of life's challenges: escaping his egg chamber. He was able to get his head out. He calls out for help. He squeaked. The two adults were standing above him he is at their mercy. The two raptors spared him. The male raptor slowly moved his head and opened his mouth he slowly pinched onto the baby's head and pulled his whole body out of the egg shell.
The baby raptor looked different from the other raptors he didn't have a simply one coloration on the left side of his body he has dark pink flower pattern on around his eye. There are green leaves patterns on his body and tail. On his right side his colors are mainly gray there is a purple line across his back to his tail. He has three quills on the back of his head.
The baby soon began walking around. The virus quickly allowed him to learn how to stand on his own two feet. In a few years he'll become a big predator like his new parents but learned two things: The odds for him surviving are low and the other he's born into a world controlled by bigger creatures.
Hunter was tried. He returned to his home and took a nap. After falling asleep Hunter's eyes opened. This time his eyes were purple. "Time for the next phase of my plan." Hunter laughed.
Hunter left the room and went to the labs. He had many samples of the virus. Hunter began mixing it with dinosaur DNA and his own blood.
In the nursery pen Ben, Elisa, and Noah saw Kash was gone.
Hunter was done with his experiment. "So, life can be many different things even in the multiverse. Now the perfect life form doesn't come from humans, dinosaurs, or even the creatures before dinosaurs. It comes from all of them." Hunter said to himself.
He had a vial of purple liquid. "Time to let my children be free." Hunter said.
He drinks it and he falls to his knees in pain.
Ben, Elisa, and Noah found out Kash and Mae were controlling Big Eatie much to their shock. The baby raptor was walking too far from his parents he saw how Big Eatie was so huge. He has little idea he couldn't be bigger than that.
Yasmina and Sammy were eating together. Shadow followed Yaz's scent he was standing outside the compound Shadow saw the drones flying around. He knew going inside wasn't going to be an opinion. He saw the other three kids getting chased by the mind controlled Big Eatie. He charged onto her back and began biting into her neck, buying the others time to escape. The kids made it back inside. Shadow escaped.
Hunter was now in bed his veins were glowing purple. He missed out his father's party Hunter took his shirt off, showing there are some slashes on his chest. He lay on his back. He fell asleep. A huge boil appeared on his chest. A small creature erupted from his chest. It appeared snake-like with a raptor head and two horns on the back of its head.
He got a look at it's surrounding it unleashed a loud screech and jumped out from his chest and procced into the jungle the hole in Hunter's chest returned to normal.
This is where the story truly changes people!
