Alison's Point of View
I was in my bed when something banged up against my window. It happened again. I tried to look out my window, but it was too dirty. I opened my window. It was Freddie.
"Come on girl, we have a task for you!" She whispered. I climbed out my window and to the ground.
"What do you need me to do?" I asked. "Something simple. We just need you to distract someone while C.J. steals something of his." Freddie explained. "What? C.J. isn't sneaky enough to steal it herself?" I scoffed. "Call it a test. Are you truly rotten enough to hang with us?" Freddie asked. "Of course I am. Who am I distracting?" I questioned. "Come with me." Freddie smirked. I followed her to a tavern. Maybe Gaston? We looked inside a window. I was surprised to see a guy in a black coat. Xigbar. What's he doing here? I mean, I know he's trying to help out, but what's he doing in in a tavern?
'What do you think he's doing? He's drinking of course.' Yeah, but why? 'I don't know. Because he likes to drink! You tell me! I have no clue!'
"See that guy in the black coat? He's new and we want to give him the Isle of the Lost welcome so we need you to distract him." Freddie explained. "But if anyone sees me, I'll get thrown out." I pointed out. "Oh yeah. I did hear something about a law about kids drinking in Auradon and some other worlds, but see, the thing is, there are no laws on The Isle of the Lost." Freddie explained. "Well yeah, but... Oh forget it. I'll do it." I sighed. "I thought you might." Freddie smirked. I walked over to Xigbar and grabbed the seat next to me. He glanced at me and then did a double take.
"What the heck are you doing here?!" He whispered. I saw C.J. in the background. I gotta tell him quick before she's in hearing range.
"I'm in a tight spot. Some of the kids wanted me to join their gang. I'm dead meat if I go solo. I'm not tough like the other kids. I think they're testing me. They want me to distract you while C.J. steals something from you. I don't want to but I don't have much of a choice." I explained quickly. "Fine. I'll play along. But we're going to talk about this later." He agreed. C.J. was nearly to us now.
"So, how'd you get on the Isle?" I asked in my start playing along tone. He caught on.
"Sora caught me and put me here. Can you believe it? How about you?" He asked. "Visiting my mother." I replied. "Gotcha. You know you really shouldn't be in a place like this. Your dad would kill me if he knew that you were here with me." He stated. "Well luckily for you, he's not here so he won't find out." I said. "Unless someone were to tell him about it." He mentioned. "Who will tell him about it?" I questioned. I watched as C.J. stole his wallet.
"Who knows? You can never be too careful. There are lots of people here who are loyal to him." Xigbar mentioned. C.J. walked out.
"It was your wallet. If you want to get it back, Captain Hook's daughter, C.J. stole it. If you wanna get it back, leave my name out of it. I'm trying to infiltrate their group so that figuring this out might be easier." I explained. "Well, lucky for you, there wasn't anything in my wallet. It was a fake. But that doesn't mean that there won't be any consequences for you coming in here of all places and help with a theft. I mean, seriously. Your father is going to find out about this, and when he does, you might even have to go back." He huffed. "Isn't it a little late to grow a conscience?" I remarked. "Did you say the same thing to your father when he decided to switch sides?" He questioned. "I see your point. Fine then. Tell him. See if I care. I'm only doing what I feel needs to be done." I replied. "You can figure this out some other way. We can work together. Come on. I know that your father doesn't want you to end up doing wrong things for the right reasons, and to be honest, neither do I." He sighed. "Did he have that much affect on you?" I wondered. "What?" He asked. "My dad. You haven't been yourself since he reversed the merge. Just how much of that was him?" I demanded. "Actually, not as much as you think was him. I had to change." He sighed. That's interesting. I wonder.
"Is it... because of someone special?" I wondered. "None of your business kid." He stated. "Oh. Sorry. Anyway, I should go." I said. "Don't forget what I said. I am telling him." He warned. I nodded and left.
