A tall deer/donkey hybrid looked over a poster with her big sky blue eyes with no pupils.
"So, these are the ones you're after?" She asked the Mayor of Fusionville.
"Yes, these three are very recognizable, especially since they are always together, I don't know if they're a hive mind or if they're trained to be like that. Despite their willingness to work together, they can be rather clumsy and mess up, which is how we found out they are the suspects. Catching them was the real problem." Mayor Parry finished his speech.
"Don't worry sir, I can catch them. I'm fast and skilled." The ungulate said calmly and confidently.
"We need all the help we can get mam." Parry nodded.
"Call me… Evelyn." She winked, then rushed off.
"Good luck." Parry whispered before getting back to paperwork.
Meanwhile, Guapo, Alfe, and Chuck sat down in their hidden cave to count the loot they stole.
"This was fun, I could hang out with you guys forever." Chuck snickered.
"You said it." Guapo sighed happily.
"Yeah, we don't need jobs, nor to graduate college. And there's no way we're getting married." Alfe put his arms behind his head and leaned back. But then he frowned.
"What's wrong?" Guapo asked, concerned.
"I used to have a girlfriend. Her name was Gizma." Alfe sighed. "But we had to go our separate ways."
"I never got together with my other half, Adele." Chuck sighed. "She just wanted to be friends."
"Well… I had a crush on my childhood friend but she wants nothing to do with me now!" Guapo hissed. "It's not fair!"
The three looked at each other, then they hugged again.
"Well, we can be bachelors together." Alfe sighed.
"Nobody to tie us down, am I right?" Chuck suggested.
"Yeah." Guapo nodded a little. "Besides, they'll see in time… So, maybe we can put on disguises and go to the carnival."
"Yeah!" The other two cheered excitedly.
Guapo dressed himself in a wig, makeup, and a dress, Alfe dressed in a tuxedo and a toupee, Chuck put on a striped shirt and a beanie propeller hat and carried a lollipop.
"Perfect." Alfe grinned. "I look almost as handsome as usual."
The three high fived and then left to go to the carnival and have fun. But little did they know, a pair of glowing blue eyes was watching them.
When the trio made it, all three were about to burst with excitement.
"Let's go on a roller coaster!" Alfe cheered. "Hopefully one that doesn't take us back in time."
"Yeah! Wait what?" Chuck asked.
"Nevermind, let's go! Alfe pulled his friends away by their hands while a deep groan was heard from the bushes.
After the roller coaster ride, the three felt their stomachs growl and in sync.
"I'm hungry, let's get some grub." Chuck licked his lips.
"Eh, I prefer pizza." Alfe replied.
"What's pizza?" Chuck asked. Guapo and especially Alfe gasped in horror.
"What kind of horrible place doesn't have pizza?!" Alfe gasped.
"I guess an academy far off in space?" Chuck grinned sheepishly.
"Yo! Get a large pizza with every kind of topping you have, asap!" Alfe banged on the desk of the concession stand.
The man at the counter soon brought a large pizza pie covered with many toppings.
"Looks good…" Chuck stared at it in amazement. Alfe took off a slice and put it in Chuck's mouth. "A…Amazing!"
"Told you." Alfe smirked, hands on hips.
"I can't wait to show everyone." Chuck smiled widely.
"Pizza, pizza, pizza!" The three sang happily as they ate at the table.
"Laughing together and enjoying pizza… Those three don't deserve it." A voice from the bushes hissed again, her sky blue eyes turning bright red and she growled deeply.
"What was that?" Chuck shuddered.
"Probably nothing." Alfe shrugged.
"Guys, we need to get out of here this was a mistake." Guapo pushed the two away from the pizza.
"Guapo, what gives?!" Alfe growled as he took the pizza then he caught up with Guapo who was running while holding Chuck's hand.
"I know those sounds, those eyes. Evelyn." Guapo tried to explain. "She's coming after me again, and now you two as well!"
"Why?" Chuck asked.
"Because, she always hated me, I don't know why but she does! She also hates anyone who is kind to me in any way!" The three made it inside the entrance to their cave, they slid down the slide, then Alfe pushed the button that retracted said slide and closed up the entrance.
"We need to hide, we may even have to find a new hideout." Guapo shoved Chuck inside his closet. The confused Alfe went inside as well and locked the door.
"We should be safe for now." Guapo panted.
"I think you need to explain more." Alfe suggested.
"I'll explain later, for now we have to be quiet." Guapo whispered.
"We still have pizza." Alfe whispered as he held out the leftover pizza. "I make it a point to never waste it."
The other two looked pleased and then began eating.
