I move through the library, my face firm in determination. That can't be all the books available on doujutsus to civilians in the library!

I mean, I get that most of the more scientific information about them would be kept away for ninjas. (As big of a pain as that is) but I can't find any mention of the Madogan in ANY of the books on various clans with doujutus! (And boy, are there a lot more doujutsu than I thought. Here I thought there was maybe a handful more than the big three, but nope that is entirely wrong, though most are classified as 'extinct' now.)

I want to learn more. As much as some of the chakra theory books (as few and more hidden under titles unrelated to chakra as there are) are great, I need more information. I need real, unfiltered information. The type of information is only provided to ninjas and clans. I can't wait years to get it, especially if I apparently have these oh-so-mysterious chakra eyes in my head. Doujutsu come in various forms, but they all have one consistency, people love ripping them out and sticking them into their own skulls and then breeding the doujutsu used into having a bunch of baby doujutsu users. I didn't think I would have to worry about this sort of thing, but apparently, I do, and it is not appealing! Not. At. All.

"Is there a reason for this recent interest in bloodlines, Sayori-chan?" Hazuki asks. I have been learning about clans and bloodlines in general because I am pretty certain no matter what way you look at it, looking up just doujutsus would be bad. Either I am creepy, have a doujutsu (true, but I don't want people knowing), or am fangirling on the Uchiha clan (unfortunately, this would be the best option for people to assume).

I consider Hazuki's question. I don't want to trust ANYONE, at all. Choza may not be bad. In fact, I don't think he would ever hurt me, or do something to hurt me. However, I know he is a shinobi and is ok with using me. Hazuki is also a shinobi. Will she want to use me too? She didn't give any indication that this is the case but neither had Choza.

"I just want to learn more about them." I tell her with a smile that I really hope looks sincere. Hazuki gives me an unimpressed look but, thankfully, doesn't push much more than that. I again begin my dive into the books, desperately looking for any clues, to well anything. I had assumed that my parents in this world weren't important. That since they weren't a 'main characters,' and so I had believed I have nothing to worry about on that end. Sure I had been curious about their identities before, but now I was desperate. Just who am I?

I dig around in book upon book in a near frenzy but came up empty. It is frustrating, and I turn my gaze toward the large gates separating the ninja section from the civilians. Not for the first time, I considered just sneaking in and grabbing some things. However, this is the first time I think about it without immediately dismissing the thought. I could probably get in but get out with a book, even one that wasn't a jutsu? That I wouldn't be able to do, and if I did, then how long until I am caught? It's not like I can hide it away in any way that a ninja wouldn't immediately find it. I look longingly at the gates with a slight bit of scorn for them. If only…

"Sayori-chan, thought I'd find you here." Izumi then says, coming into the library, and I look up from the next dead end I have found. Maybe I should try myths next? Rumours and legends that were never confirmed?

"Hello, Senpai," I say, feeling my body already beginning to ache.

"I need your help again." Izumi says, wasting no time. I'm not sure I'd like to get poisoned again if she needs my help with another Sasuke play date. Ami getting more confident with her poisons might not be such a good thing when she is annoyed. Still, I'm a little curious. The young genin doesn't quite look as desperate as last time, more embarrassed than anything.

"Why?" I ask plain and simple because that's the real question.

"Have you heard of Shisui Uchiha?" Izumi asks, slumping over as she sits next to me.

"The teleporter?" I ask just to clarify because who hasn't? He is one of the only jonin Uchiha not in the police force, and most people say that's only because of his young age.

"Yes… or the brat." Izumi mumbles, frowning, and I quirk an eyebrow. "He is so happy to play the fool, and yet he just loves causing trouble for me." She tells me, and I blink because I am unsure where this is going.

"You need my help because …?" I ask, hoping she will elaborate.

"He told Itachi with me RIGHT there that I was faking knowing you well just to get all close to him! Can you believe it!" Izumi says, and I look at her because, isn't that precisely what happened? "But I told him I've been teaching you, and he asked when, so I told I teach you often at the training grounds, and he said… he said he'll have to come by sometime and see for himself!" She says, now raising her voice, and Hazuki shushes her daughter from across the room, but she also seems to be holding back a laugh.

"So you want me too…? Be your student some more?" I ask her, and she nods, and I think that when I meer Shisui, I'm going to have to hug him because a one-time lesson has turned into more lessons and all I have to do is show up!

"Will you?" Izumi asks, and I smirk widely. Free teaching, real teaching? Is there even a question?

"Course, Senpai." I say happy, and I can't help but push my luck just a little. "Though you sure have a lot of boy issues." I needle, and now Izumi smirks.

"Come on, let's go, you have a lot of… LESSONS to learn." Izumi says, and I both smile and shiver simultaneously, not sure if I am more excited or scared.
