Chuck yawned as he woke up in his room, when he suddenly felt a hoof cover his mouth, he cried for his siblings to help him, Starley barely heard it and woke up, Evelyn panicked and her antlers glowed bright, Starley noticed her teleporting away with her brother.
"Chuck!" Starley gasped.
"Huh?" Finley's eyes shot open.
"Fin!" Starley shook her older brother rapidly.
"What's going on?" Finley groaned from being tired.
"Someone took Chuck!" Starley whimpered.
"Oh dear, we better save him before they brainwash him." Finley gasped. "Who was it?"
"A tall dark brown pony thing?" Starley wondered. "I didn't get a good long look at her. We need to tell Glargg!"
"What if we get in trouble?!" Finley shuddered.
"But Chuck is in trouble now!" Starley pleaded.
"Okay, okay." Finley sighed. "Hope he's okay."
Meanwhile Chuck was in a hanging cage in a cave.
"When my friends find out-" Chuck crossed his arms.
"I hope they do." Evelyn said blankly.
"What?" Chuck looked at the ground worriedly.
"I know Alfe and Guapo want you back. They really want to believe they're capable of caring for you." Evelyn smirked.
"What's that supposed to mean?!" Chuck growled.
"I have met one of them before, I know he wants to believe he's good, but he's incapable of love and kindness." Evelyn growled.
"But… They are!" Chuck argued.
"I see he's manipulated you and Alfe." Evelyn frowned. "Just like he did to Fraz."
"Who the cluck is Fraz?!" Chuck demanded.
"You mean he never told you? Well I'm not surprised." Evelyn huffed. "He's Guapo's adopted brother. His parents took Guapo in as a baby, but his roots came back to him. Ever since my mother created me, it's my job to destroy all evil."
"Y-you're going to…" Chuck sweated in fear.
"No, I'm not going to hurt you, I just want your friends to be locked away forever." Evelyn frowned.
"And me?" Chuck pointed to himself worriedly.
"You will be taken to a prison where you will eventually be set free. You're young, so maybe you have a chance. But I doubt it." Evelyn whispered.
"You… YOU'RE the evil one!" Chuck spat back.
"Poor naive fool." Evelyn glared at him with her burning red eyes. Alfe suddenly burst a hole into the wall, smoke was puffing from his snout, while Guapo looked almost as angry.
"Guys, no! Stay away! It's a trap!" Chuck reached his arm out.
"I know, and I don't care!" Guapo gritted his teeth. "Leave Chuck alone! He did nothing wrong!"
"Yes he did! I can sense it!" Evelyn hissed.
"I know I'm the only one you really want… Come and get me, you witch!" Guapo flapped his bat-like wings and flew circles around her. Her antlers glowed again as she was about to blast him, but he kept dodging.
"I want revenge for what you did to your brother and MY best friend!" Evelyn barked.
"And that's your right, but leave my friends out of it!" Guapo snapped back.
Alfe smashed the cage, grabbed Chuck, then ran off with him under his arm.
"Guapo, hurry up!" Alfe ordered. Evelyn narrowed her eyes, grabbed Guapo by the horns and threw him at Alfe, then she made a forcefield around the three.
"It ends here." Evelyn whispered.
"No…" Guapo whimpered.
"I won't let you hurt them." Alfe hugged his friends tightly.
"M-me either." Chuck stuttered.
"I love you two…" Guapo leaned into Alfe, a pink orb floated around them then broke the forcefield.
"Huh?" Evelyn gasped. "The energy… It can't be coming from.. You!"
"You see the world in black and white." Chuck glared. "But my friends and I know there's more layers than that."
"I… I…" Evelyn bit her bottom lip. "I… G… Go."
"Huh?" Alfe asked.
"I said go, run, escape." Eve whispered.
"No need to ask me twice, come on." Alfe picked up Chuck and Guapo flapped his wings as he flew after the two. Evelyn stood there watching them leave, even after she couldn't see them, she stood there in confusion.
