Ianto planned to sleep the rest of Christmas off when he got home. He had finally gotten Jack to take the mistletoe down. Also he had spent a large portion of his Christmas taking down aliens. His suit was now ruined, it was torn and muddy and particularly falling off of him.
"You look like you could use some cheering up," Jack said when he spotted Ianto lying on the couch.
"Please don't suggest caroling," Ianto said.
"I wasn't going to although me wearing mistletoe is still an option." Jack wriggled his eyebrows but Ianto didn't seem particularly excited by that idea. "Let's clock off for tonight," Jack continued. "I can make you dinner and we'll get you a new suit tomorrow." Jack wondered if suits were something that went on sale on Boxing Day. He guessed that he would have to just wait and see. It was worth the expense anyway since Ianto looked so good in a suit. Jack suspected Ianto would look good in anything.
Ianto slowly nodded. "That does sound nice. I'm driving."
"No, your relaxing in the passenger seat."
"Not with your driving I'm not." But he didn't really have the energy to put up much of an argument.
"I'm driving," Jack repeated and the two of them made their way to Ianto's car. The traffic was light, it was very late on Christmas. Ianto wasn't sure if it was even Christmas anymore. Ianto kept an eye on Jack but soon found himself drifting off anyway. Jack smiled at Ianto affectionately and then put a Santa hat on him.
"Merry Christmas," Jack whispered.
This is late already so I might make a part two later.
