I love Janto: he can't help being impatient. She was very happy to help.

Ianto walked over to Kate Stewart. Kate was wearing her glasses, a long multi colored scarf, a white lab jacket with a peach shirt underneath it, green pants and blue sneakers. She smiled when she saw him.
"Does Osgood know that you dressed up as her?" Ianto asked.
"Most people here think I'm being the Doctor," Kate answered. "She doesn't but I like to think that she would be flattered."
"I think she'd be reaching for her inhaler." Ianto looked around, wondering if he could spot her.
"She's not here," Kate said in answer to his unspoken question. "Does Jack know that you are dressing up as him?" she added.
"Oh no. I'm going to surprise him later." Ianto gave Kate a dirty wink.
Kate winked back. "You're too good for him."
"I hope you're not trying to steal me away Ms Stewart," Ianto replied, laying his accent on thick. He wondered if he could pull off Jack's American accent and decided that he should practice it. Perhaps Jack could help him, he might have done a few accents in his conman days after all.
"You know you've certainly caught a lot of eyes."
"That was the plan." Ianto winked again. A few eyes he was particularly glad to have caught not that he was planning to seduce anyone. At least not without Jack's help.
"Well don't go running of with any of UNIT's finest. I'm going to get some punch."
"No promises."
Ianto barely caught Kate mumbling "Bloody Torchwood" under her breath and he chuckled.
This is going to be fun, he thought.
Kate turned out OOC although we never really see her at parties with friends so maybe not as OOC as I think.
