The following morning Bumblebee was at the Energon shack drinking a cube of Energon when he sees Grimlock coming over, "Morning Grim, sleep well?"
"Yep, my leg's feeling better."
"That's good, but I thought you were supposed to be off it for a day or two."
"I wanted to get some Energon, then I'll go right back to my quarters."
"You better, you need that leg to fully heal."
"I know. Any luck on our Decepticon?"
"Not yet, but we're working on it."
"We got a name for the other Decepticons? There was the one I was fighting and the three that Metalsound, Thunderhoof, and Ultra Magnus were fighting as well."
"No, haven't gotten their names yet."
Grimlock finished the rest of his Energon before tossing the empty cube in the waste bin, "Now you go back to your quarters and rest," Bumblebee tells him.
"I'm going," the Dinobot replied with a smile as he headed off to his quarters to rest.
"And I better not see you out again, you need to follow the doctor's orders!" Bumblebee called after him.
"Got it!"
Bumblebee just chuckled a bit, "Hello, Bumblebee," Emberwing greeted.
"Hello, Emberwing."
"Is Grimlock ok? He's limping."
"Yeah he's fine, he just hurt it in a fight."
"So were Oka-san, papa, and Ultra Magnus but Ratchet said that they would be ok. Oka-san needs a lot of rest though."
"Yeah, same with Grimlock."
"Did you guys get the Decepticons?"
"No, not yet."
"I know you'll get them. Will Grimlock be ok?"
"Yeah he'll be just fine, just needs to get some rest."
"Good. I'm going to play with the guys, bye Bumblebee," Emberwing took off to find her friends.
"Alright, bye Emberwing."
Later on that day, Bumblebee decided to go check on Grimlock to see how he was doing and make sure he was staying off the leg like he was ordered to. Grimlock was laying on his berth already fast asleep with a pillow under his sore leg.
Bumblebee knocks on the door, "Grim, can I come in?"
Grimlock slowly sits up before speaking, "Yeah."
Bumblebee walks in, "How are you doing?"
"I'm good, was just taking a nap. I want something to do."
"I know you do, but you have to stay off that leg."
"Is there anything that I can do that is fun but I can still be off my leg?"
"Not that I can think of."
Grimlock made a sound of disappointment as he tried to think, "Oh, you can show me some of those magic tricks."
"Ok, what do you want to see?"
"I'm not sure, surprise me," Grimlock replied with an excited grin. Bumblebee comes up with something he could do. Grimlock made a small noise of excitement as he waited. Bumblebee flicked his servo around Grim's helm before pulling a piece of cloth out of his audio, he kept pulling one colorful cloth after another.
Grimlock giggled with delight, "How are you doing that?"
"A magician never reveals his secrets."
"Aww, can you show me another one?"
"Sure," Bumblebee thinks of another trick he could do, he decided to do the coin trick.
"This is so cool."
"I know right, it is."
"How long did it take for you to learn all of this?"
"A couple of years."
"Cool. Can you teach me?"
"As I said, a magician doesn't reveal their secrets."
"Aww."
"Sorry. Want to see another one?"
"Sure."
Bumblebee brings out a couple of hoops and shows them separately before putting them together, connecting them all of a sudden.
"That is neat and weird."
"I know," he chuckled.
"I need to get some more Energon."
"I'll go get it for you," Bumblebee says as he heads out.
"Thanks, Bumblebee."
He walked out to get some Energon then came back and handed it to Grimlock. Grimlock was about to take a sip when he looked at Bumblebee, "Want to share?"
"No, I'm good," he replied with a smile.
"Ok," Grimlock said with a little uncertainty as he took a sip of his Energon.
"Want to see another trick?"
"Sure. I wish I could do something like that."
Before Bumblebee could do another trick the alarms go off. Grimlock turned his helm in the direction of the alarm, "I wonder what's going on."
"I'm about to find out, you stay here and rest."
"Ok, be careful."
"I will," Bumblebee says as he heads out to the Alchemor to see what's going on, "What's going on, Fixit?" He asked the Mini-Con.
"It's Ripjaw again. And he's at this thing called, a Monster Truck Rally?" Fixit explained in confusion as he looked up the term.
"A Monster Truck Rally? There will be hundreds of humans there, that's a big event!" Bumblebee stated.
"But why would he be there?" Slipstream asked.
"I'm not sure. What is he doing?"
"He's taking some of the tires off of the Monster trucks."
"Why is he doing that?" Jetstorm asked.
"Only one way to find out. Let's go, team," Bumblebee replied.
Grimlock watched from his window as Megatron, Drift, Sideswipe, Bulkhead, and Bumblebee made their way to their destination, "Wish I was going with them," he muttered as he laid back onto his berth.
Bumblebee and his team went to the Monster Truck Rally and started looking for Ripjaw and his group, "Stay sharp everyone, we don't know where Ripjaw could be," Bumblebee warned. He wasn't sure if he should split the team up after what had happened last time. They all stayed alert looking for any sign of the enemy and any humans. Luckily due to the sightings of Ripjaw and his crew, the humans evacuated the stadium.
"Well, at least we don't have to stay in hiding," Drift states.
"Yeah, at least that," Bumblebee replied as they entered the arena.
"This brings back memories of when I was in the gladiator pit," Megatron mused as he looked around.
"I imagine it would," Bumblebee says as he looks around. Didn't take long and they spotted Ripjaw and his group.
"Back for another beating, are we?" Ripjaw grinned as he looked at the Autobots.
"This time it will be different, I'll be taking you in."
"Sorry but I don't have time for small fries. Where's Thunderhoof?"
"He's around."
"Worried over that femme Predacon I see. Shadowrunner told me he seemed rather concerned for her, that's not like him at all."
"Of course he is, she's his mate."
Interesting. "Well best be off, got things to do," Ripjaw said as he turned to leave.
"Not so fast Ripjaw!"
"Take care of these punks," Ripjaw told his group as he took off. Shadowrunner and Amberblade charged forward and the Autobots got ready to fight.
