After a while, Tsume and Luna make their way back to the pack after taking a few moments to themselves. The pack checked in with them, but they said that they'll see Sky in Paradise once they make it there.

They'd be lying if they said that losing Sky wasn't the worst pain that they both felt since losing their own packs.

Luna slept beside Tsume in her wolf form, laying her head on his forelegs with her ears laid back. Tsume laid his head on Luna's back.

Blue stayed by Quent's side the entire time. "Don't worry. He's sleeping. You might as well get some sleep yourself," Hubb said, noticing what she was doing.

"But I'm scared. How do you think Pops is going to react when he wakes up and sees all of us?" Blue asked unsurely.

"I'm sure he won't have any hard feelings. He can let all that rage go. Thanks to you," Hubb replied.

Then, Quent started to shift, groaning softly.

"Pops!" Blue exclaimed, kneeling down next to him. She puts a hand on his shoulder.

"Blue... where are you...?" Quent asked weakly. "It's alright, Pops. I'm right here beside you," Blue said, sitting in her wolf form.

Quent reached up and touched her cheek. "There you are... Blue. My good girl..." Quent said quietly.

Hubb sat up and knelt over Quent. "It's me, Quent. Don't you remember me?" he asked.

Quent smiled when he heard Hubb's voice. "Detective Dandy," the old man said with amusement.

"Can't you see him?" Blue asked, turning back to her human form.

"All I can make out are a bunch of blurs," Quent sighed. Toboe came to his side, smiling warmly at seeing the old man wake up.

"Hey, he's finally awake! That's amazing!" the red wolf exclaimed.

Quent's eyes widened when he heard Toboe's voice. "Is that the boy? It's not just him. There are others. I can sense them," Quent asked.

Luna felt Tsume wrap his arm around her waist. Now that this man was awake, the grey would would make sure that his mate was safe. He knew that she could handle herself but there were times where he needed to protect her.

He wouldn't lose her. Not like he had lost their daughter.

"That's right, old man," Kiba spoke, making Quent gasp again. "Who is that?" Quent asked.

"Well, Pops... the thing is... they're..." Blue started, but wasn't able to finish what she was going to say.

"We're the wolves you've been tracking," Kiba finished, rescuing the conversation.

Quent gasped and smiled ruefully. "You guys are messing with me," he said.

"It's true, Quent. They're wolves. Even the flower maiden is here. She was the one to revive you," Hubb explained to him.

"We're going to Paradise and they brought you along so we could go together," Blue added.

This man has been hunting this pack for the longest time so there was no way he'd want to go to Paradise.

"To Paradise..." Quent said, pushing himself upwards. "You shouldn't be moving!" Blue exclaimed, grabbing his long coat.

But he started walking away, making her let go.

Quent squinted and saw a red wolf, a large grey wolf with a black she-wolf at his side, an injured mexican wolf, and a white wolf with the flower maiden.

He was sure there was a sixth wolf, but that didn't matter to him.

"Hey, where are you going?" Hubb asked. "They want to go there... what a joke... If this is what you're telling me... then you should've just let me die," Quent muttered, keeping his back towards the pack. Toboe jumped to his feet.

"What's wrong with you!? Don't you know how worried Blue is about you!? I know how much you want to be with her! Why are you acting like this!?" Toboe called after him, but was met with silence.

"SHUT UP!" Quent yelled, making the red wolf jump back. Quent stops in his tracks but didn't turn around. "Blue... you're not my dog anymore," he said.

Blue's eyes become widened. "But you can't..." she gasped. After she said this, the wind picked up gradually, making their hair and clothes.

Luna was appalled. How could Quent just throw his beloved pet out to the curb like that? Like she's nothing to him?

Blue snapped out of her shock and got up, walking off the other direction. Hubb got up and went after him.

(Hubb and Quent)

Quent continued to walk through the raging storm, gun in his hands.

Hubb tried convincing Quent to come back to the group, but it didn't work. It got to the point where Hubb had used his gun to pistol whip the ex-detective. It knocked him unconscious.

(Blue and Hige)

Blue stood at a cliff where she could see more of the dark and desolate land. There wasn't any wind at all. It was still.

She pondered on the man she spent her entire life with. She wondered why he would just throw her out like that.

Hige had followed her all the way up there. Blue didn't even have to turn around to know it was Hige.

"Are you still going, Hige?" she asked him. Hige was shocked to start with, but just shrugged it off.

"Well... where do you think?" he asked. "It doesn't matter. Wherever it is, I'm going with you," Blue said.

"But... Blue..." Hige started. "Where you go, I go. I take it Paradise isn't on the list, right? Well, I'm still going with you," Blue said.

"What are you saying, Blue?" Hige asked, but Blue cut him off. "How many times do I have to say it? I doubt I could get in anyway since I'm only half wolf... Paradise wouldn't take me," she said, looking down at the ground.

Hige felt guilty because of what he had done in the past.

"But... I was one of Jagaura's wolves. I know I won't be able to get into Paradise. Not like Kiba and the others," Hige said, looking downwards.

Because of all of that, there was a slim chance he'd be able to get in without an issue. Would he be able to get inside despite all the murders he committed? He didn't know.

Blue then turns around to look at him. "Hige, why don't you stay with me? Luna has Tsume as her mate. They've already lost their pup because of all this mess. Please... stay with me," she asked him.

"But what about the old man, Blue? Is it okay that you won't see him anymore? And that you won't be able to make it to Paradise?" Hige asked her.

Blue looked away again. "The only thing that matters now... is you Hige..." she said, tears starting to rise in her eyes. All Hige could do was stare at her.

She then turns to him, tears falling from her eyes. "If I can be with you when the world ends, it'll be enough for me!" She cried, running to him.

She hugged him tightly, burying her face in his chest. Hige hesitates for a moment but he then hugged her back with his good arm.

While this was happening, the wolves and Cheza could hear a high-pitched sound that a noble ship carried.

The pack could hear it too. "Can you hear that?" Tsume asked, looking upwards.

"Yeah... I hear it too, Tsume," Luna replied, gritting her teeth.

"It means that he's almost here," Kiba said, holding onto Cheza protectively.

Then, red lasers break through the grey clouds, striking the ground. It caused everything to shake.

"What the hell was that?" Luna shouted, tightening her grip on Tsume's arm.

Then, a cloud of smoke and sand clouded their vision.

"A voice is crying out... There is pain and sadness..." Cheza spoke.

Kiba looked down at her. "What happened, Cheza? Was someone hurt by that light?" he asked her.

"We must go to it. Take this one," Cheza said to the white wolf.

"Kiba, stay with Cheza! I'll go after Hige and Blue! Toboe, the humans are all yours!" Tsume said, turning towards the red wolf.

"Wait, Toboe! I'm coming with you!" Luna exclaimed.

Tsume grabbed her by the arm. "Luna, no!" he shouted, protesting against her going with Toboe.

"Tsume, I have to make sure that he's safe. I'll be careful," Luna said, looking up at her mate.

Tsume knew she was stubborn, but she was doing it to protect her packmate.

"Okay. Please be careful," Tsume said. Luna smiled at him confidently and kissed him again. "I will," she said when she broke the kiss.

Afterwards, both Luna and Toboe ran into the thick wind in their wolf forms.

Tsume was anxioius because he wanted to make sure that his mate was safe. He didn't want her to get hurt... or killed.

But she was independent also. She could handle herself like Tsume.

"So you sensed it too?" Tsume asked Kiba, "Luna and I felt it earlier on in Jaguara's Keep. At first, we thought he'd only planned to leave us when we got there. But this started long before he got his memory back. I know all about betrayal,"

"But he didn't betray us, you two know that," Kiba said.

"You're right. But when it's all said and done, he was trying to fool us up until the very end. After all this... he still couldn't tell us the truth," Tsume replied.

"But you and I know the truth, right? We all knew he was hiding something, isn't that right?" Kiba asked. Tsume nodded, looking at the white wolf.

(Luna and Toboe)

Luna and Toboe ran through the storm in their wolf form.

Luna didn't go with Toboe because she wanted to help a human, she came with him to make sure that her pack mate stays safe.

When they did find him, they stopped behind him. Quent heard them and spun around, aiming his gun at the two wolves.

However, he relented and lowered his gun. He turned back around and continued to walk. Luna sighed and started to follow him. "C'mon, old man! You'll catch your death out here!" Luna shouted over the wind.

"Yeah! Where'd Blue go!?" Toboe asked him, following suit. "If you two want to laugh at my ways of life, then go right ahead. But I ain't letting this go. We don't have righteous dignity like you wolves. We gotta have something to hold onto. Like you black she-wolf. You have that grey one. You had that kid of yours so don't let him go. Something we can resent, hate, and envy, and something we can love," Quent said to them.

Luna stopped when he said that. She wondered how he knew about Sky... and Tsume being her mate. Toboe stopped with her.

"I've always liked humans!" Toboe shouted, "Please, Pops!" "Don't call me that!" Quent shouted.

Just as they were about to move, something stopped them. "Toboe... that bastard is here," Luna said, gritting her teeth.

Toboe looked at her worriedly. Darcia was definitely here.

(Kiba, Cheza, Tsume)

Cheza brought Kiba's ear down to where her mouth is so she could whisper something to him. "Is that him?" Tsume asked.

"Yeah," Kiba replied, nodding at the grey wolf.

(Luna, Toboe, Quent)

The winds passed and Quent saw the two wolves in their wolf forms, staring at Darcia.

They both had their fangs bared, hackles raised, tails raised. Luna stayed close to the red wolf, standing in a fighting position.

Darcia stood in front of his broken ship, wearing a black cloak. He started walking forward, a blood trail behind him.

Quent narrowed his eyes, knelt down. "It was you," Quent said. "Unclean creature. You are not permitted to be here," Darcia said.

Quent's eyes widened. "You cannot tread here. I will not allow it," Darcia seethed, his wolf's eye flickering.

"I saw that eye, glaring at me through the fire. What the hell are you? Are you a human? Or are you a wolf?" Quent said.

"I am neither man nor beast," Darcia answered.

Luna caught Sky's scent on Darcia. She growled even louder at him. She wanted to tear his throat out here and now...

"Whatever you are, I know a wolf's eye when I see it. When you lose something dear to you, you won't stop at nothing to get your revenge. A man's soul dies along with the very thing they've lost. Do you understand what that's like?" Quent said to the noble.

Darcia stopped a car length away from them. "Indeed, I do," Darcia answered. "You show no mercy," Quent said.

"Yes. And without forgiveness," Darcia said, pulling out his gun. Quent held up his gun at the noble.

Toboe snarled and jumped between the two, opening his jaws to bite the noble. Then, Quent pulls the trigger...

The others had heard the gunshot from the distance, striking fear within their hearts.

Then, they start to run towards the sound of the gunshots.

Luna stood in her human form, in shock. She saw Toboe get shot through his back, sending him flying through the air in his human form.

"To...Toboe..." she sobbed, "No..." Quent hadn't meant to shoot the young pup. He was meaning to shoot the noble.

When Toboe landed on the ground, Luna ran over to him along with Quent. Luna felt tears rising in her eyes...

Quent looked up, seeing the barrel of Darcia's gun... then there was another shot...

Before this first series is over, can you guys give me ideas of what I should do in a sequel? Something that the pack could do for it?

If you do, then message me.
