I love Janto: ah, okay. Yep, though that chapter was a role reversal where Ianto was the immortal one instead. I should have made a note at the beginning.

Prompt: favourite villain or the Doctor's hand.

If Ianto thought Jack would answer him, he'd ask him what was so important about that damn hand. He was left to clean up the broken glass, while Jack had scurried off to some place deep in the hub to replace the jar.

Ianto gingerly bent down to touch the liquid. If it was dangerous Jack would have had more sense than to let Ianto clean it instead of quarantining the hub, well he hoped so at least.

It certainly felt mostly like regular water expect a bit gooey. He brought his hand up to his face and sniffed it. It smelled faintly metallic.

If Jack or anyone else had walked in on him sniffing the water Ianto didn't know what he would have said. Thankfully no one had thought to check on him and he had locked the door to the tourist office.

One day Jack would explain how it had been the Doctor's hand and why he had kept it. One day much further away, Jack would tell Ianto and Gwen the story of Ten Two. Gwen would say that two Doctors must have made Jack's day.

For now Ianto shook aside thoughts of Jack keeping them in tubes filled with liquid after their deaths.
