Spamton swayed there, his gaze shifting between the three children. When he looked at Mono, his grin grew even wider. Mono didn't know who this was, but he didn't like him.

"But... How is that possible..." spluttered Hat Kid, "Deltarune Chapter 2 just released five days ago... I never thought..."

"THAT [[GOAT KID]] WOULD BE [[refunded]] SO SOON!?" cackled Spamton as his head twitched violently for a moment, "[[GET USED IT KIDDO]]! IM THE NEW [[HOT 100]] OF [[DELTARUNE]]!"

Spamton gave his strings a tug and he was slowly lowered closer to the ground, closer to the children.

"HOLY [[CUNGADERO]] DID MY [[Rapidly-Shrinking]] BUDGET NOT COVER THIS! THREE [[little birdies]] WITH NO [[child insurance]]..."

Spamton leaned forward and reached out with a clawed hand.

"Hey, hey, hey take it easy buddy," shouted Hat Kid as she rushed forward and shielded Mono and Isaac from the bolted behemoth, "I think you've done enough damage, bringing this army to destroy YouTube..."

"LIVING IN A GODDAMN GARBAGE CAN DOES NOT DO US [[HonestMen]] ANY F4VOURS!" shouted Spamton as he thrashed around, realizing he had nothing to punch, "BUT THIS [[Colony of Ants]] WAS THE [[Genorisity]] OF A [[Patereon]]! NOW I AM THE ONE MAKING THE [[Calls]]! CALL MY OWN [[Shots]]!"

Suddenly a phone descended from the hatch and stopped next to Spamton. It started to ring insistently. Spamton snatched it and held the receiver to his ear.

"WHAT!? WHAT? ARE YOU SERIOUS!? ... YOUR [[Genorisity]] is [[Apprecited]]! I'LL HAVE HIM [[Guaranttee]]"

The phone rose back up through the hatch. Spamton flashed a smile at Mono. Before he could react, Spamton moved with blinding speed and snatched him.

"Oi!" shouted Hat Kid as she drew out her umbrella, "Give him back!"

"SORRY [[Little Lady]]" sneered Spamton as he held Mono by the legs, "BUT THE [[bounty]] ON THIS LITTLE [[sponge]] HAS [[Supersized]] TO 2 KROMER! TRULY AN UNFORGETTABLE DE4L!"

"Could you at least tell us what the original bounty was?"

"OF COURSE! 1 KROMER! TRULY [[Genoris]] OF KYLE KARE-"

Spamton suddenly started to spasm, static emitted from his mouth, and his multicolored glasses went dark as if something turned off the lights behind them. Spamton let go of Mono and clutched his head as if he had a headache.

"No, I'm sorry! I'm sorry! I didn't mean to -"

Spamton's glasses turned back on but they now glowed blue.

I'LL BE SEEING YOU VERY SOON...

Spamton then hung limp for a few seconds. He raised his head, glasses going back to their original colors. His right arm clicked and hissed as it transformed into a laser cannon.

"[[Hyperlink blocked]] [[will be arriving shortly]] TO COLLECT THE BOY!" he shouted, "MEANWHILE THE REST OF YOU WILL BE BETTER OFF AT [[Half-price]]"

Spamton swooped down to grab Mono but he was ready. Mono jumped to the side and ran towards Hat Kid who was running towards the nearest phone. Spamton pointed his arm cannon and fired multiple times at Mono and let out a piercing shriek. The Spambots sprung into action as they rushed forward towards the trio. Mono saw Isaac pull out a Head of Krampus and it blasted a laser from its mouth, eviscerating many Spambots in front of him. Hat Kid's hat changed into a witch's hat and started to throw explosive potions at the Spambots, taking out a dozen at a time. But for every spambot that fell, fifty more took its place in the charge. Mono looked around and saw Spamton speeding towards him, shooting pipis in all directions. Mono attempted to dodge them but one of them exploded in his face, blasting him back into a wall. A blue metal heart burst out of Spamton's chest and would have smashed into Mono if he didn't duck. But Spamton fired two lasers at Mono which prevented him from moving. Spamton reached Mono and grabbed him by the arm. Mono looked desperately around and saw Hat Kid and Isaac standing in the reception booth, desperately trying to defend their position. Hat Kid was screaming into a phone while Isaac was shaking a box that birthed dozens of blue spiders to slow the Spambots.

"LOOK AT THE POOR [[HeartShapedObjects]]!" chuckled Spamton, "THEY ARE GETTING [[Desperate]]... WATCH THEME [die] BEFORE [[Hyperlink blocked]] ARRIVES!"

Suddenly two grenades fell from the ceiling and blasted the Spambots closest to the pair. Spamton swore and sprung into the air as the sound of a revving minigun echoed above the cacophony of Spambots. Soon bullets peppered Spamton's body and he dropped Mono. The Spambots paused for a moment as they saw their leader in trouble. That was their first mistake. The unseen assailant turned their attention towards Isaac and Hat Kid and fired on the surrounding Spambots. The pests shrieked and crawled up the walls, away from Hat Kid and Isaac. The mysterious attacker leaped from the rafters and landed next to Hat Kid. It was Jinx. Mono scrambled over to the trio.

"Jeez Hat Girl Junior. It took you five hours to call in that favor."

"Couldn't you get here any faster," muttered Hat Kid as she threw a potion at Spambot who was getting too close to her.

"Do you really expect me to come zooming in here the second you called me?" said Jinx in a mocking voice as she threw a monkey bomb at another Spambot.

"Just help us get rid of these bots and we'll call it even."

"On it," grinned Jinx as she pointed Fishbones at Spamton and fired. The robot dodged to the left and the rocket blasted a hole in the wall along with a hundred Spambots.

"YOU LOOK LIKE THAT [[Clown Around Town]]..." sneered Spamton as he raised his laser cannon, "CLICK HERE TO [[DIE]]!"

Spamton fired a bright ball of energy as the Spambots surged forward like a flood of sharp claws and vulgar advertisement. But even with Jinx at their side, there were still too many Spambots. Mono started to look around desperately.

"Um... Jinx... How do you propose we take care of this... We are still outnumbered..."

Jinx stopped firing at the Spambots and turned to Mono. Her face was a mask of grim determination.

"You're right kiddo. But that doesn't mean we can't turn the tide."

She looked at Hat Kid who was furiously beating a Spambot into a pile of scrap.

"You wanted to know why I was late?" Jinx then flashed an insane grin.

"Watch."

Jinx pulled out a small detonator from her back pocket and pressed the button.

A section of the wall exploded. It wasn't as impressive as Mono thought it could have been. But as the dust settled, a flood of white and green exploded from the hole. Mono immediately recognized them. They were Dream stans, white and green little blobs with smiley faces. There were thousands, probably millions of them erupting out of the wall. They looked around and saw the place crawling with Spambots and started to shriek with anger.

"I LOVE DREAM!1!1! HAVE MY BABIES!"

"GOGY!"

"DrEaM cAn BeAt TeChNO!"

"I AM DREAMGENDER!"

"FaCe ReVeAl!"

"MASK IS THE BEST SONG EVER!"

"DREAM DIDN'T CHEAT!"

"DREAM X GOGY!"

Spamton gave one look at the incoming horde and immediately tugged his strings. He was pulled up and disappeared through a hatch. The Spambots didn't stand a chance. The group waited as the last of the Spambots were destroyed by the Dreams stans. Once they were finished they crawled back through the entrance they came through. Silence.

"Well..." piped up Jinx, "I guess that is a job well done."

"There are probably many more out there," said Hat Kid grimly, "But they won't be too much of a problem for now."

The group started to walk towards the exit.

"So you are still on that little investigation of yours," commented Jinx, "Then who are these kiddos?"

Hat Kid did not answer for a few seconds.

"They were caught up in this," said Hat Kid slowly.

The trio continued forward but Jinx stopped walking. Mono turned around and saw Jinx looking at something on the floor. Mono walked back to ask what was the issue. He then realized that Jinx was not looking at something on the floor. It was something in the floor. Cracks and a distinct rustling. Mono looked at Jinx who looked as if she was transfixed.

"Mono? Jinx?"

Hat Kid stood at the entrance. Isaac was looking curiously at Mono.

"What do you intend to do with whoever is behind this..." Jinx asked, her voice was quiet. Mono didn't know how to answer. He stepped back. Away from the cracks.

"You're going to kill it..." murmured Jinx as her hand moved toward her holster, "Is that what you're going to do?"

"Jinx?" said Hat Kid as she grabbed Isaac by the hand, "What are you saying?"

"I'm afraid I can't let you do that," said Jinx as she drew her pistol and aimed it at Mono. Her eyes were wild, like a cornered rat.

"JINX!" yelled Hat Kid as she drew out her umbrella.

"He's going to destroy us all if he lives!" shrieked Jinx, her aim switching erratically between Mono and Hat Kid, "He just doesn't know it!"

Mono looked down and his heart stopped. The cracks were widening. The rustling was getting louder.

"JINX!" screamed Hat Kid, "Listen to me!"

"NO! YOU LISTEN TO ME!" screamed Jinx, tears streaming from her eyes and spittle flying out of her mouth, "THIS BOY IS GOING TO BE THE END OF US ALL! PLEASE! DON'T MAKE ME KILL YOU!"

Mono felt something in the ground break and he dove to the left as the floor beneath him and Jinx gave way. Mono was barely able to hang on a jagged piece of the floor. Jinx wasn't so lucky. She plummeted down into the hole, screaming until she reached the bottom. Then the screaming intensified. Mono looked down and then wished he hadn't. Blue wings were slowly wrapping themselves around Jinx. Mono looked in horror as the Jinx sank beneath the feathers, screaming for Vi, screaming for Vander, screaming for anyone before they were muffled by the choking feathers. The thing in the pit started to moan in a disturbing manner and the feathers started to rise. Mono looked back up and saw Isaac reaching out for him. Mono grabbed Isaac's hand and was pulled up. Then the trio bolted out and away from the building, not looking back to see what would happen if the feathers reached the surface.
