Lincoln tapped his fingers on the table, his knee bouncing up and down under it. He knew he had arrived earlier than he told the others but still, none of the others had arrived yet. "May I help you, sir?" A voice spoke to Lincoln. He looked up and smiled, his guard dropping again. "Oh, no thank you, Mr. Fring. I'm just waiting for some others who seem to be running a bit late." Gus smiled and nodded. "Oh, I see. Just ask a member of our staff if you need anything." He said before turning to leave. "I will, thanks, Mr. Fring!" One of the nicest and most innocent people in this hellish city, Lincoln thought to himself. He left his mind when he saw the door open and spotted Jordan walking toward him. "Hey." She took a seat across from him. "We the only two here or is Clyde in the bathroom?" Lincoln shook his head.
"Just the two of us. We can consider this our monthly date." Jordan scoffed. "Monthly date? we have like 3 a year and they don't even last an hour. Let's be honest with ourselves Linc, we're like a rich married couple that hates each other." Lincoln smirked and nodded his head in agreement. "Yeah, that's true. I'm the gold digger who only married you for your money and you're the rich girl who wants to show off her slave husband to her fellow girlfriends so you don't feel left out." Jordan chuckled. "You're not really worth showing off, Lincoln." The pair stared at each other for a moment before both broke out into laughter. "Yeah, that's true. I guess we're both low lives. Maybe if we weren't, we wouldn't be in this situation." Jordan raised her eyebrow. "I don't know what all this WE talk is about. This is all on you, Linc." He narrowed his eyes at this comment. "Did you forget that you forced yourself into this entire situation, Jordan? You began selling despite nobody asking you to. You're in this because you chose to get involved." Jordan went quiet, failing to find a flaw in Lincoln's words. "...You know, it's not too late for you to back out if you wanted to, Jordan. I know you're smart enough to know what could happen to all of us if this goes bad and it most likely will. If you want out-" Jordan cut him off. "Thanks for the offer but I'm good. I know our relationship has been on the rocks for a while but..." She stared into Lincoln's eyes. "Seeing you in that state after what Carl did. I'm not going to let it slide." Lincoln felt a warmth rise inside at her words. He opened his mouth to respond when the door opened again. "Hey, Lincoln! Jordan!"
"Hey, Clyde." The pair responded as he walked over and sat down next to Lincoln. "So... What's this plan of yours, Lincoln?" Lincoln looked to Clyde and then back at the door. "More are coming though they're running late. Lazy bastards." Jordan and Clyde eyed each other, concern on their faces. "Others? You've told others about all of this?" He nodded. "Don't worry, they're trustworthy. In fact-" Lincoln stopped talking when the door opened again and in walked Luna, Lisa, and Lucy. "...They're Family."
3 DAYS EARLIER
Lincoln was standing in the same alleyway that he and Luna had argued in yesterday. He was impatiently eyeing every passerby, watching them until they were out of sight. "Brother, you called us here and still have yet to say a word so if you do not start communicating soon, I am going home." With a sigh, Lincoln turned to face Lisa, Lucy, and Luna who all looked back at him, a mixture of impatience and curiosity plastered on their faces. "Alright, fine... I'm going to tell you guys the truth though Luna already figured it out." He locked eyes with her briefly before turning back to Lucy and Lisa. "Carl was right. I did kill Sergio-" Lucy immediately pinched the bridge of her nose while Lisa was in panic mode, asking him a million questions and giving him no time to answer. She continued to swarm him with questions about why he did it, how could he be so stupid, and where the body was, going on and on until Luna grabbed her by the shoulders. "Lisa. Calm down for a moment, okay?" She held onto Lisa for a moment longer before slowly letting go. "Okay, Linc. Continue." He cleared his throat and took a breath. "So yes, I did kill Sergio. Why doesn't really matter that much anymore but if you must know, he threatened to take..." He glanced at Lucy for less than a second, not allowing anyone to catch on. "One of you. He was going to tell Carl to take one of you away until my attitude improved." Lisa lost her cool again at the mere thought of being taken away by the Casagrandes and had to be calmed again by Luna while Lucy continued looking at Lincoln with an unreadable expression. She really needed to brush that hair out of her eyes. "Anyways, none of that matters anymore. Sergio's dead and Carl is out to get me for it except he can't because the family won't give him permission." "So what's the problem then?" Lucy asked. "The problem... Is that at some point between that night and the next morning, Carl went back to Gus' Games and Grub and took nearly half of the supplies, so now I won't be able to make enough money to meet their standards and... You can see where it goes from there." Lucy gave a sigh and nodded. "Yeah, that's a problem. One I assume you have a solution to?" "That depends on Saturday," Lincoln said, gaining questionable looks from his sisters. "I want the three of you to come to Gus' Games and Grub on Saturday at 3:00 P.M. Clyde and Jordan will be there and I want you three to join us and I'll lay out my plan there. Will you?" The three girls talked amongst each other before coming to an agreed decision. "Yeah."
CURRENT TIME
The six sat around the table in awkward silence, taking sips from drinks they had ordered every so often. All eyes were on Lincoln as he bounced his knee up and down, trying to calm his nerves. "Well... I guess I better get to it. Yes, I have a plan to make enough money to satisfy the Casagrandes and prevent Carl from killing me and doing whatever else he wants afterward. I brought you all here because as much as I'd like to, I can't do all of this alone. I need help and people I can trust so that's why I brought all of you here. Now, the plan I have is admittedly out there but considering the situation we're in, it's the only one I could think of." Lincoln turned to Lisa who both looked and felt out of place in this meeting. "Lisa, You're the smartest person I've ever met and I know you're still young and shouldn't be involved in all this but I won't lie, you're crucial to my plan. If we're to make enough money to please those bastards then we need more drugs to sell and the quickest way I can think of is... If we make some. Lisa, you're the only one of us with the intelligence and the equipment to accomplish this-" He was interrupted by multiple hushed voices calling him crazy and stupid. "You want your five-year-old sister to become a drug manufacturer are you insane?!" Jordan hissed at him while Clyde was already listing the many ways this could go wrong. They both went quiet again as Lincoln raised his voice slightly over them. "This is not a decision for either of you to make! I'm not going to force her but there's no questioning that Lisa could do it!" the entire table looked at Lisa, her expression one of disbelief and clear panic. "L-Lincoln, I'm flattered you think so highly of my intellect b-but this? I'm not a criminal I-I don't want to be either! if it ever got out, my future would be ruined and I'd be thrown in jail for life and-" Lincoln reached his hand over, gently grasping hers. "I know what I'm asking is terrible and selfish. I know that all of this is my fault and that you have no obligation to help me but I'm not lying when I say that you are the only person I could trust with such a thing. I won't force you Lisa but I'm begging you to just think about it for a bit, okay?" Lisa went silent, eyes glued to the floor. "I... O-Okay I'll... T-Think about it." Lincoln nodded and let go of her hand, letting out a sigh before turning to the rest of them. "As for everyone else, I think it'd be best if we all learned how to shoot- Now before any of you start!" He held his hands up as Clyde had opened his mouth to object. "You all know what kind of people we're dealing with here, how dangerous they are. Even if Lisa agrees and we manage to make enough money to pay them off, it's as you said, Luna. Eventually, this thing is going to blow up and we need to be prepared. I know someone who can teach us, but I need to know that you're all comfortable with this." Luna, Lucy, and Jordan all agreed quite quickly but Clyde looked as if he was on the brink of a mental breakdown. "L-Lincoln, you know I've always got your back but... learning how to shoot? possibly killing people?! My dads don't even know I help you sell drugs, imagine if they found out I had shot and killed someone! I-I don't think I can do this!" Lincoln gave his friend a small smile. He knew Clyde was not the kind of person for this life and he deserved to get out and make something better of himself. "I know, Clyde and it's okay. You've helped me out more times than I can count and I'm forever grateful." Clyde looked into his friend's eyes and gave him a slight nod, still looking conflicted. Lincoln next turned to Lucy. "Now, after we've got a good grasp on shooting, I think the best course of action for you, Luce, would be to spy on them. You've got to admit your ability to sneak up on people and scare them half to death would be immensely helpful." Lucy smiled at her brother and gave him a thumbs up, confirming her willingness to do it. "Luna, you, Sam, and your other bandmates whose names I don't care to remember know more about the streets than any of us do. I'll be honest and tell you now that your involvement in all of this will be very little if Lisa isn't comfortable with making the product. But if she is, you and your band can distribute it quicker and more effectively than I could do alone. Plus if I also keep doing it, we'll make possibly double the normal amount and keep most of it for ourselves, making a good profit." Lincoln then turned to Jordan. "Lastly, there's you." Jordan rolled her eyes at his comment, waiting for him to make some snarky comment. "You're gonna stick with me during this." Lincoln didn't say anything more, choosing to look away from her. Lucy looked to Jordan who had slightly lost her composure, a slight blush on her cheeks. "Seems like you two are still in love- Ow!" Lucy yelped in pain as the blushing Jordan stomped on her foot under the table. "Shut. Up." Jordan looked away, her blush deepening. "Bitch..." Lucy muttered. Lincoln rolled his eyes and refocused on the plan. "So, if everyone's in agreement with their roles, I'd say we have a plan." Jordan, Lucy, and Luna all nodded while Clyde was still sitting in silence, thinking to himself. Lisa cleared her throat and looked at her brother. "Lincoln, I-I think I need more time to think about all of this... Can I tell you my decision later?" Lincoln closed his eyes for a brief moment, cursing Lisa's inability to make a choice in his mind. "Sure, but I'm going to need an answer before the end of tonight, alright Lis?" She gave a silent nod before taking a sip of her drink. "Well, everyone... I think that's all for now. Tomorrow, I need you three to meet me outside my house." Jordan and Clyde got to their feet and headed out, leaving Lincoln alone with his three sisters. "Let the shitstorm begin." Luna said with a huff as she got up to leave, followed by Lisa who followed her in silence. "So, Lincoln. How're you feeling?" Lucy asked while also getting to her feet. "Fucking terrified." he responded, heading out the door with his sister. "Come again, Mr. Loud!" "Until next time, Mr. Fring!"
