And for the first time in all their adventures, Mario and Luigi believed that this was the end, and there was nothing else they could do, luckily a certain green dinosaur didn't agree with that.
Yoshi: It's okay my friends, you just did what you thought was right, Daisy might not realize that, but during our time together I could see that all you want is to help us save our world from Bowser's tyranny and restore your timeline, and that's exactly what we're gonna do!

He spits out the key, and Mario uses it to unlock the door, they then try to sneak out of the castle, but, Mario and Luigi remembered that they were without their hammers, so they decided to look for them, and much to their misfortune, they found Toad and Toadette sleeping and holding their hammers.

Toadette wakes up DK, and they get ready to fight, Mario starts shooting some fireballs, but Toad knocks them all back, he then runs towards Mario and tries to attack him with his own hammer, Toadette runs towards Luigi, and tries hit him, but he jumps up high and dodges it, he ends up falling on DK's head, meanwhile, Yoshi swallows the hammer from Toadette's hands, and throws it to Luigi, Luigi then hits DK with a hammer blow on the head, but at that moment he manages to grab Luigi and put him against the wall.
Toad uses his pickaxe combined with Mario's hammer to attack him, but Mario jumps over him, and hits him with a kick, getting his hammer back, he then sees DK attacking Luigi, but he knew he couldn't make it in time, then he threw a fireball in the air, Yoshi swallowed the fireball and spat it at the monkey, while he was recovering from the last attack, Luigi hit him with a punch that knocked him out too.
