Chapter 4:The Entrance Exams
It was morning in Japan in the world of My Hero Academia. The sun was shining, the birds were singing.
Beep beep, beep, beep.
Ben woke up from the sound of his alarm clock and turned off the clock.
''Today the day.'' said Ben as got up from his bed. Ben rent his apartment next to Izuku's. He brought everything he needed food, nice new clothes, and more stuff if he live in this world of heroes until he stopped his great enemies and going back to his world.
Ben took a quick shower, and brushed his teeth. Then he pulled on his usual clothes today today is the Entrance Exams to U.A. High the number one Hero in the world.
He stormed over his kitchen and he fried bacon, eggs and toast. After he finished his breakfast.
Ben walked down the stairs and walked over to Glitch who was parking in the street.
''Good morning, Ben.'' greeted Glitch.
''Morning, Glitch.'' greeted back Ben.
''Ready for the ready?'' asked Glitch.
''Yeah, let's go.'' Ben hopped in Glitch and drove off faster towards U.A. High for the big test to enrolled.
After a few moments they finally make it to U.A. Ben give off from Glitch and he picked waiting the test was over.
Ben walked up to the gates of U.A. then wait for a certain friend to arrive. ''Today is the day. I hoped I get new people here until I stopped and Vilgax and the others' plans.'' he thought.
Then a person bumped into him. ''Oh sorry.'' she apologized.
''Nah it's fine, happens a lot.'' smiled the alien hero.
''Okay.'' replied the girl, she had black hair that was styled into a spiky ponytail.
''See you around.'' said Ben.
And then another girl bumped into him, this one had purple hair, and upside red triangles under her eyes. In addition she also has small cables in place of her ear lobes. ''Oops, my bad.'' she responded.
''Don't worry it's fine, actually the second that happened.'' Ben reassured her and helped back on her feet. ''Hope we can ended in the same class together.'' he called out.
''Ben.'' called out a familiar voice. The teen hero turned around to Izuku in his middle school uniform.
''Hey, Izuku. What took so long?'' asked Ben.
''To inhibit his power, All Might may eat a piece of his hair.'' answered Izuku.
''Okay, it looks like we're here.'' smiled Ben.
''Yeah.'' nodded Izuku. ''U.A. High School the number one hero school in the world.
''OUT OF MY WAY! DEKU!'' yelled a voice.
Both Ben and Izuku turned around to Katsuki Bakurgo walking behind them with an angry expression. Ben remembered him when he saved him and Izuku from the Sludge Villain along with All Might 10 months ago.
''Kacchan?'' guessed Izuku. As Katsuki walked him and Ben.
''With that guys' problem?'' inquired Ben.
''He been that way since he got his Quirk and he's been bullying me ever since.'' explained Izuku.
''Talking about a childhood bully to me.'' stated Ben. Ben always hated bullies he remembered Crash and J.T. used to bullied him all the time when he was a kid.
Then Izuku tripped and was about to fall on the ground until he was saved by a girl with brown hair, brown eyes, and pink perpetual blush on her cheeks.
''Are you okay?'' asked the girl. But the green haired boy panicked and the girl placed him back on the ground. ''I stopped you by using my Quirk but I didn't ask first so I don't mind catching you. Well I guess see you inside. Bye.'' the girl then walked off.
''She saved him. Her power is to control gravity just like Gravattack. Maybe everyone here have similar powers like my alien forms, this world of heroes is amazing.'' thought Ben with a smile.
''Holy, blow. I'll just talk to a girl.'' thought Izuku than he laughed.
Both Ben and Izuku arrived at a big, well it auditorium with many seats surrounding there were three big screens and basically a whole podium for the presenter. However a lot of the seats had already been taken. Ben, Izuku and Katsuki sat next to each other.
''For all you examinee listeners turning in, I am Present Mic and welcome to my show today!'' yelled a booming voice called out to the room. ''Everybody say 'Hey!'' The owner of the voice was a tall slim man with long blonde hair, a mostly black outfit, orange sunglasses but more importantly a stereo-like equipment around his neck. This is Present Mic, the Sound Hero.
''What's up U.A. candidates thanks for turning in to me your school D! C'mon lemme hear ya!'' shouted Present Mic.
Silenced.
''Keeping it mellow huh that's fine ill skip straight into the main show let's talk about this practical exams huh let's see how this gonna go down okay! Are ready!'' screamed Present Mic.
Silenced.
Ben then looks over to Izuku. ''It's Present Mic, the Voice Hero. I'll listen to his radio show, every morning.'' he muttered with a bright smile.
''I guess the teachers are Pro Heroes.'' thought Ben.
''Like your application said we will be conducting two minute mock battles once I drop the mic you will be going to your specified battle centers sound good. Okay!'' exclaimed the Voice Hero.
Then Present Mic explained the details about a 10-minute battle with kinds of robots.
Then a boy with dark blue hair, eyes and glasses stood up.
''Excuse me sir I have a question?'' asked the kid.
''Hit me.'' said Present Mic.
''On the print out there are 4 types of villains not three with all respect if this is an error no official U.A. material it is shameful we are exemplary students we expect the best from Japan's most notable school a mistake such as this won't do.'' replied the blue haired boy.
''Dude relax it's just a printout man.'' said Ben.
''Additionally you with the unkempt hair you've been muttering this entire stop that if you can't bother to take this seriously leave you're distracting the rest of us.'' the blue haired boy pointed to Izuku.
''Sorry.'' whispered Izuku.
''Thanks for calling in with your request the 4th villain type is worth 0 points it's not that it can't be beaten there's really no point that's all I got today.'' responded Present Mic.
Present Mic continued with the school motto.
Ben and Izuku were outside of a large training area. Along with a group of students. Ben saw the blue haired boy from before in the group.
''Well, this is it right Izuku?'' asked Ben.
''Yeah, I didn't think I'd actually make it though.'' answered the green haired boy.
''Hey don't sell yourself short, come on we got an entrance exam to pass.'' reassured Ben.
''Right.'' nodded Izuku.
The booming voice of Present Mic stooped all further conversations and announced. ''Right, let's start! There are no countdowns in real battles. Run, run, run, listeners! You're wasting airtime here.''
With that said every student taking the test was off. Ben sped and instantly he saw simulation villain robots. ''Time to take them down.'' he smirked.
Ben activated his Omnitrix and slammed the dial down his body was bathed in a flash of green light. When the green light died down standing in his place was a plasma-based life-form alien whose body is composed of a super-hot inner plasma body covered by dark red volcanic rocks. As a fire-based entity, his body radiates high amounts of heat. His feet have a slight oval-like design with only two toes and one back toe his collarbone resembles a volcano which generates a fiery hair that covers his head, leaving a mask-like face visible no nose or ears.
''Heatblast!'' he shouted in a deep raspy voice.
Heatblast charged up his flames and fire a large blast of fire at the robots melting them and threw some fireballs at them causing a explosion destroying them in the process.
The Pyronite then saw a 2-pointer robot and Heatblast destroyed it with a blast of fire. Scorning him 27 points.
Heatblast slapped the Omnitrix symbol and he transformed into his Necrofiggian form.
''Big Chill!'' he shouted.
Big Chill flew into the air and saw a few more villains on the ground and he used his cyrokineiss to freeze them and they broke into pieces in the end. Earning him more points. He was flying into a new location and he was free to move around. He spotted a short girl with long blonde hair with two horns coming out from her head and big blue pupil eyes. She also seemed to have a slender figure and hooves for feet.
The girl threw horn projectiles at a robot, Big Chill saw a laser beam behind. Being the hero he is Big Chill flew in between the girl and the villain Big Chill use his ice breath and froze the projectile. In a flash of green light Big Chill transformed back to Ben.
The teen hero looked at the girl and asked. ''You are okay?''
''Yeah.'' nodded the girl. She recognized him. ''Hey aren't that boy who stopped a giant villain months ago?'' she questioned.
''Yeah, I am. I'm Ben Tennyson but they called me Ben 10.'' answered Ben with a smile. ''What's your name?'' he inquired.
''It's Pony Tsunotori.'' introduced the blonde haired girl now named Pony. ''And I'm an American like you.''
''Nice to meet a fellow American. Anyway, I'm hoped see you around.'' Ben left off to find some more villains.
''What a nice boy.'' smiled Pony.
Ben found some more villains. He activated his Omnitrix and slammed the dial down. When the green light died down standing in his place was a magentic humanoid-like alien with a magnetically floating metal head surrounded by a glowing white aura and levitates in an arch between his shoulders. He has crab-like claws for hands and his body is mainly brownish-black with yellow feet, hands, shoulders, and chest. His body is also made of a living in alien metal. He wears the Omnitrix symbol on his chest.
''Lodestar!'' he shouted in a metallic voice.
Lodestar used his magentokinesis to lift some of the robots up and smash them together. Then he smashed two more then another one.
Then Lodestar saw a girl with pink skin with unruly fluffy pink hair and two horns sticking out her head, she also had yellow irises with black around around them and shooting acid.
''Whoa, she's pink you don't see that everyday.'' said Lodestar as he saw more robots coming towards the pink girl.
Lodestar slapped the Omnitrix symbol transforming into another alien. When the green light died down standing in his place was a humanoid alien that made a pile of goo that can take any shape at will. He has bright green eyes and an Anti-Gravity Projector that allows him to mobile. His brain is spread throughout his body. He wears Omnitrix symbol on his chest.
''Goop!'' he shouted in a high-pitched voice.
Goop stretched his body around a robot and he dodged its laser attacks and shot an acidic slime at the robot melting it arms and legs then the Polymorph finished inside the robot off inside its inner workings and the robot exploded destroying into pieces.
The pink girl saw the alien hero then Goop came up to her and turned back to Ben. ''You okay?'' he asked her.
''Yeah. I know you're that guy who can transformed.'' smiled the pink girl.
''That's me I'm Ben Tennyson, alien hero.'' smiled the teen hero.
''Wow! You're a real alien hero!'' exclaimed the pink girl. ''Oh by the way I'm Mina, Mina Ashido and I'm a fan of aliens.'' introduced the pink girl now named Mina.
Ben chuckled. ''Sounds like you're like aliens don't you Mina?'' he questioned.
''Oh yeah, oh I always meet a real life ones!'' cried Mina with a smile.
Ben couldn't help but laugh and smile that someone in this world of heroes is a fan of aliens. ''Anyway we have a test to finished, I hoped we get be in the same class together.''
Ben activated his Omnitrix again and transformed into...
''XLR8!'' the Kineceleran then sped off to look for more villains.
''A real alien hero. I'm hope I can be in the same class with him.'' thought Mina.
The teachers of U.A. were watching the monitor showing the destruction on the fields. The monitor is covered in camera-feeds, showing off the contestants.
''It seems like that young man Ben Tennyson, has a better time in combating the villains in no time.'' said a small mouse like man.
''Yeah, he seems to know what he's doing.'' replied a woman with purple hair.
''He's comes from another dimension where he's the only hero there and he has 6 years of combat experience.'' explained All Might in his true form.
''This boy is amazing.'' commented a man in a red suit.
The other teachers nodded in agreement.
Back with the students
XLR8 looked around to find more robots he was doing good earning thanks to some of his transformations and he helping out other students then he saw a girl with orange hair tied into a ponytail and another girl with long green hair made of vines and two robots laser beams. XLR8 slapped the Omnitrix symbol and transformed again. When the green light died down standing in his place was a humanoid-like alien that has an overall green and black colored body, mostly with a red flame-patterned head and root-like feet, seemingly holding black rocks. His eyes are oval-shaped with points at each end with green pupils copying shape but are smaller. Also his shoulders and head have red petals and his elbows and legs have green frills sticking out. He is taller than an average human and has a distinct rotten stench that worsens with heat. He wears the Omnitrix symbol on his chest.
''Swampfire!'' he shouted in a nasally voice.
Swampfire charged at the robots then used his pyrokinesis to fired a blast of fire at one of the robots destroying and he threw seeds from his shoulders and placed them on the ground in a couple of seconds vines spread from the ground underneath the second robot and it was wrapped around vines. The Methanospian finished the robot off with a large fireball at the robot and it was destroyed that Ben earned a lot of more points.
''Thanks for the save.'' smiled the green vine haired girl.
''Yeah.'' agreed the orange haired girl. ''Say aren't you that transformed guy?'' she asked.
''Yeah, Ben Tennyson or Ben 10 at your service.'' said Swampfire. ''What are your names?''
''I'm Ibara Shiozaki, your plant form is just like my Quirk.'' introduced the vine haired girl now named Ibara.
''And I'm Itsuka Kendo.'' introduced the orange haired girl now named Itsuka.
''Pretty names.'' nodded Swampfire. He flew into the air with flames. ''See you later.
Itsuka and Ibara watched Swampfire leaves. ''What's a nice boy.'' they thought with smiles.
Swampfire spotted more robot villains and landed on the ground. ''Time for a tech action!'' he smirked.
Swampfire slapped the Omnitrix symbol and transformed again. When the usual green light died down standing in his place was a technological humanoid-like alien with a black exterior body with green stripes that resemble circuitry all over him. The green circle on his head is his eye, which glows whenever he talks. His body is made of billions of small cell-like creatures called nanites. His torso is green with black circuitry patterns. He wears the Omnitrix symbol on his chest.
''Upgrade!'' he shouted in Ben's voice only more metallic.
Upgrade then jumped and merged with a robot advancing it then reshaped the robot into a taller, heavier, average robot knight soldier in human size.
''Alright, boys let's rock!'' exclaimed Upgrade.
Upgrade then missiles and lasers at some villains destroying them then he created a sword from the energy inside of the sliced more robots and finished a large laser beam.
Upgrade then exit from the robot he was controlling in a flash of green light he transformed back to Ben.
Ben turned into XLR8 and ran around looking for more villains when he saw the two girls front in the gate this morning. He saw them fighting a couple villain bots off, but they hadn't noticed a big one near them that was going for a sneak attack. XLR8 rushed in, while the two were busy. ''LOOK OUT!'' he yelled. The two heard him then turned to see running towards them. ''Take this!'' he kicked the bot back with his legs.
''Hey nice save.'' said the girls.
''Thanks, look out on your right!'' XLR8 told them.
The girl with the spiky pony tail turned and then created a sword out of her body and sliced it's arm off.
The one with the red triangles and the ear cables stuck the cables into her legs and a very loud sound came out of them and shatters what was left.
''You are good.'' commented XLR8.
Both of the girls smirked.
''The girl with the black hair can create anything from her body. And the one with the purple and earjack ears can create sounds. They'll remind me of Shock Rock and Echo Echo.'' thought XLR8. ''Alright, time to get to the test.''
XLR8 slapped the Omnitrix symbol and transformed again. When the usual green light died down standing in his place was a large energy humanoid alien whose body appears to mainly consist of blue energy. His upper body, shoulders, forearms, and legs are protected by a grey rock-like armor. There are four spikes protruding from both of his shoulders' guards. His arms are rather large, stretching down nearly to his feet in a resting position. His head is rock-like and has pointed sides. His eyes are green and a moss-like substance can be seen around his neck and shoulders. He wears the Omnitrix symbol on his chest.
''Shock Rock!'' he shouted.
Shock Rock got up in a big robot and fired a electro blast at the robot shockingly and it powered down. Shock Rock created an energy boomerang and threw it at another robot and cut off its arms and legs and finished it off with another electro blast destroying an exploded. Then missiles were firing at the Fulmini who created a energy shield and blocked the missiles.
Shock Rock then created two energy swords and charged at the robot and sliced it in half.
''Alright time to a little sound.'' said Shock Rock.
Shock Rock slapped the Omnitrix symbol and transformed again. When the green light died down standing his place was a small white humanoid alien made of silicon. One of his most noticeable features is a square appendage resembling an MP3 player behind his back with a port on it, decorated with a 10 symbol and what looks like cassette tapes on his lower legs. The green circle-shaped indents on the back of his hands are sound holes and the inside of his mouth is also green with lines that give it the appearance of an amplifier. He also wears headphones and the headphones are attached to a backpack. He wears the Omnitrix symbol on his chest.
''Echo Echo!'' he shouted in high-pitched metallic voice.
Echo Echo copied himself into 5 Echo Echos and they circled around 2 robots.
''Echo Chamber!'' the Echo Echos all screamed that they let out a sound wave the robots causing them to explode because of the loud sound. ''Wall of Sound!'' the Echo Echos create a gigantic sound wave that destroyed 5 more of villains.
Then the Sonorosians saw 4 giant ones behind them. The Prime Echo Echo who is Ben decided to power up.
''Okay guys time for a upgrade.'' said Echo Echo then his clones returned to him.
Echo Echo turned the Omnitrix symbol sideways he was head to toe in Omni-Kix armor. He has a white armor plated face with a mask visor and the visor is green, his legs, upper hands are covered in white plating trimmings. His arms are covered in grey trimmings. His fingers, his lower feet has grey stripes and and the bottom in covered in black plating, the plugs connected to his headphones are green.
''Omni-Kix Echo Echo!'' he shouted. ''I have to thank Azmuth for giving me the Ultimates back and including this new Omni-Kix armor function.'' he thought.
Omni-Kix Echo Echo got in front of the robots then he copied himself into 4 clones. They got ready to screamed.
''Sonic Explosion!'' the Omni-Kix Echo Echo created a huge sonic explosion at a robot destroyed in a few sounds. They then created Sonic Blasts at the second one leaving shatter parts and they finished it with Sonic Lasers and Sonic Repulsions. They turned to the last 2. ''Sonic Doom!'' shouted the Omni-Kix Echo Echos enceasing the two robots in a soundwave dome destroying them in the end.
''This is easy.'' replied Prime Omni-Kix Echo Echo. In a flash of green light he transformed back to Ben.
Ben and the other students heard a loud rumbling. ''That sound poses a very bad vibe.'' responded Ben.
Then he looked towards the source and saw it, the 0 Point Villain, it wasn't something you needed to pay attention to. It was something too powerful to beat. ''Look out.'' stated the teen hero as he grabbed the two girls by their hands and get them to safety.
He then replicated and got everyone else away from the gigantic villain. ''Okay is that everyone?'' he asked.
Ben was at least a few meters. He activated his Omnirix and the icon head he was looking for and slammed the dial he was bathed in a flash of green light this time was bigger.
When the light died down standing in Ben's place was a white colossal humanoid alien with a giant fin on his head that was red on top and black on the bottom. He is standing 250 feet tall. His forearms, shoulders,, feet, chest, and long fins protruding out from his elbows were all colored red while the rest of his body was white. He wears the Omnitrix symbol on his chest.
''Way Big!'' he shouted in a booming voice. ''Okay big boy, guess what time is IT"S HERO TIME!'' he exclaimed as he charged at the villain.
''Wow it's Ultraman!'' cried a male student.
Way Big grabbed the robots by its legs and tossed them away. The robots missiles but the To'kustar jumped high into the air and dodged them. Way Big kicked the robot hard with his heavy feet.
''That very mark of a true hero.'' said Way Big before another meteor kicked the robot again and he punched it then punched it again and again. ''IS HIS OR HER WILLINGNESS TO SAVE OTHERS' REGARDLESS IF THEY END UP GETTING INJURED IN THE PROCESS!'' Way Big crossed his arms together and fired his blue Cosmic Ray at the robot sending it with broke parts.
Before Way Big could finish the villain off until he saw something out of the corner of his eyes. It may have been small but he made out what looked like a small figure with...green hair.
''Wait Izuku, what are you doing? And how did you do that?'' asked Way Big.
As it turned out Izuku had use All Might's Quirk One For All and jumped to saved the girl who he and Ben met earlier.
''Smaaassh!'' With one hit Izuku destroyed the robot's head, this had surprised everyone. Including the To'kustar, who was stunned momentarily, then smirked.
''Looks like you finally got the hang of your Quirk.'' replied Way Big.
Then he realized that his friend had fallen. Way Big slapped the Omnitrix symbol and transformed into Big Chill and flew down to Izuku.
''Wait, wait, wait!'' remarked Izuku then blasted a cloud of super helium into his jogging suit. That made him float down but he was still falling fast. ''Not good even with this helium in my suit, I'll still fall and if...oh no I've got no choice, Detroit.'' he thought before he was slapped in the face.
It had that girl from this morning, which had made him float in the air. ''And released.'' she reported in a little stressed, then proceeded to throw up.
Big Chill had landed next to them. ''Let me guess, gravity manipulation but it too much a slight motion sickness?'' he asked.
The girl nodded. ''Yup.''
''Times...UP!'' announced Present Mic and everyone hears his voice fill the battle area.
''Is everyone okay? the voice of an elderly woman catches the attention of everyone. It was the Pro Hero, Recovery Girl, the U.A's school nurse, whose Quirk allows her to accelerate the healing of those she kisses. She has gray hair, tied into a bun, and she wears a lab coat. She has a cane, designed to resemble a syringe, and a pink helmet, leaving the top of head uncovered.
She hands everyone some gummies, before Izuku, whose arm and legs were indeed broken. Later, everyone is sent home, and informed that the letter of their possible acceptance would arrive in a week or less.
One Week Later...
Ben was eating his dinner in his apartment he was having pizza. It has been a week since the Entrance Exams he was wondering about someone he knew. ''I hoped Izuku passed the test.'' thought Ben.
Then just in a letter came from his front door and Ben picked it and noticed it was from U.A. Ben went to his bedroom and sited his desk and opened up the latter in the latter was a small disk like device Ben put the disk down and it a projected image of All Might appeared.
''I am here to inform you that you have passed the practical exam and you have made it into U.A! You Young Tennyson were able to get the highest score of 120 villain points and 60 rescue points that made you in the first place. Welcome to the Hero Academia!'' exclaimed the Number 1 Hero before the the image ended.
Ben smiled that he passed the exam and suddenly his cell phone rang and he answered. ''Hello.''
''Hey Ben, it's me.'' it was Izuku. ''Guess what? I'm passed the exam.''
''Hey Izuku good for you, I'm passed and I'm in first place.'' smiled Ben.
''Yeah, I can't believe we've both got in. Anyway I have to draw my costume I'll take you later bye.'' Izuku hung up his phone.
After he finished talking with his green haired friend Ben reads the paper out loud and a smile grew up on his face it was the hero costume so what he did to think of what he wanted.
Ben take out a note book and started drawing his hero costume.
In the bar the villains were talking about a certain enemy.
''It looks like Ben Tennyson had enrolled in the U.A. High.'' Eon told Vilgax from a projected image.
''It's seems like he's gonna gained new allies there.'' said Vilgax.
''With him there our plans were ruined.'' replied Tomura. ''What we do with him?'' he asked.
''Don't you worry about Tennyson.'' Albedo who is back in his teenage Ben form and Ultimatrix working again. ''With my teleporter we'll recruited more villains to take him down.'' he grinned.
''Yes we will have Overhaul bring the girl Eri to make us some serum.'' responded Dr. Amigo.
''Exactly get to worked on our project.'' stated Vilgax as the alien warlord had ended the transmission.
''Now, go Eon and bring Overhaul here. My master cannot know of this transgression.'' reported Tomura.
''I know.'' remarked Eon, and he opened a portal to walk through.
''Tennyson is proving to be a formidable enemy.'' spoke Kurogirl. ''We need to watch our steps.''
''When we face Ben 10 in the future, we'll be ready.'' laughed Tomura.

Chapter 3 was the last short chapter for the story the rest of them will be longer.

Anyway in the next chapter Ben's first day in U.A. will start.
