The Elder Scrolls: The Quest for Kingdom Hearts

Chapter 10: R&R

The Gummi Ship arrived within Traverse Town's aerospace. Felicia's eyes were wide with wonder as she looked at the world of Traverse Town from the cockpit window. "Wow!" she breathed out.

"Enjoying the view?" Dragonborn asked as he stood beside the platinum haired thief. He too looked at the world of Traverse Town from the window.

"Among other things," Felicia replied with a sly smile on her lips as she looked at the larger taller man standing beside her. "I mean, I knew there were other worlds, but this is my first time leaving my own world to another," she said.

"That was my first thought as well, although I've travelled to other dimensions before," Dragonborn said casually.

"Other dimensions?" Felicia raised a finely groomed eyebrow as she heard that sentence from Dragonborn.

"Sovngarde and the Soul Cairn are two dimensions I've travelled to back home," Dragonborn explained. "But both were tied to my homeworld, so I don't know if they qualify as separate worlds or not," he said modestly.

Felicia gave a little hum of thought before she asked, "So, what can you tell me about Traverse Town?"

"I haven't done too much exploring of Traverse Town," Dragonborn admitted. "It has three districts that I know of, and it takes in anyone who has lost their world to the Heartless," he then said.

"Any points of interest?" Felicia asked casually as if discussing the weather.

"There's the Accessory Shop and the Synthesis Shop above it, and there's also a general store and a restaurant should one want something to eat," Dragonborn said.

"Any banks?" Felicia prompted as she examined the claws of her gloves.

Dragonborn looked at the thief and said to her, "If you're planning to rob any places that even have a slight modicum of wealth in them, then I'm afraid we will have no choice but to take you back to your own world and leave you there."

Felicia smiled demurely and said, "Maybe I just want to open an account on Traverse Town?"

Dragonborn tilted his helmeted head and Felicia could tell that he didn't believe that line, so she said, "Trust me, I've got my eyes on something even bigger than a bank vault."

"Such as?" Dragonborn asked.

"Play your cards right and you'll find out soon enough," Felicia said with a playful smile.

Then a loud cough broke out. Dragonborn and Black Cat looked over to see Aela and Serana standing in the doorway, stern unamused expressions on their faces. "We've just about to disembark the ship," Aela said tersely as she glared at Black Cat who simple smiled in response before she looked at Dragonborn.

"Talk to you later, handsome," the cat-thief said as she briefly touched Dragonborn on the arm and suppressed a giggle as she saw the seething looks on the vampire and werewolf's faces. Felicia then sauntered off, wiggling her hips a little as she did.

"Strange woman," Dragonborn commented casually and Aela and Serana then turned around to glare at him. "What?" he said in confusion.

Serana sighed tiredly and replied, "You really are too innocent sometimes, you know?"

"Innocent?" Dragonborn parroted in confusion.

"We'll tell you later, Dragonborn," Aela said to the warrior quickly before he could ask what Serana meant. "Let's head into town and do what we came here to do," the she-wolf added.

"Good idea," Serana said in apparent agreement.

As the heroes entered the first district of Traverse, they were greeted with a surprising sight of the makings of what appeared to be some kind of celebration or festival going on. "What the hell is going on? Whose birthday did I miss?" Courier asked.

"Hey guys!" a bright chipper voice called out to the group and Yuffie came running up to them. "You're just in time!" the ninja said exuberantly.

"In time for what?" Jaina asked. "Who are you even?" she also said.

"Name's Yuffie! The Greatest Ninja to ever live!" Yuffie boasted in answer to Jaina's question. "Who might you be?" she then asked.

"Jaina. I'm Sora's older sister," Jaina said sticking her hand out to shake which Yuffie shook gladly. "So, you were gonna tell us what's going on here?" she prompted the ninja.

"Isn't it obvious? We're having a party!" Yuffie said.

"Why would there be a party happening?" Veronica asked. "Whose idea, was it?"

"Well, everyone on the Traverse Town Council just sorta decided that everyone needed a party to get their minds off the Heartless, if only for a little while," Yuffie said in explanation. "It's good thing you came when you did, Leon, General Tullius and Colonel Hsu will want to get some updates from you guys," she then added.

"A party, huh? Sounds fun! I'm in!" Sora quickly said in excitement.

"Well, so long as there's free food and booze, I suppose we can kick back and relax a little," Courier said with a shrug of her shoulders.

Veronica then nudged Aela who looked at in confusion. The Scribe then nodded at her and winked. Quickly getting the message, the werewolf looked at Dragonborn and said to him, "Harbinger? I don't suppose you would be… umm… would you be interested… in being my… date this evening?" Gods Aela felt like a twit; she was the fearless Huntress of the Companions! She didn't stutter and act like a nervous maiden girl! Yet she was acting just like one asking a man she had first met out on the plains of Whiterun nearly two years ago going up against a giant attacking a farm. When Aela had first seen Dragonborn, she didn't know his name, but when she saw his face, she was transfixed, and it had taken a few seconds for her to realise that he had spoken to her in that moment.

From there it went, Aela had come to know Dragonborn well as he joined the ranks of the Companions and rose up through the ranks to become the new Harbinger after the death of Kodlak and freeing Kodlak's soul from the grip of lycanthropy.

Aela had wanted to get closer to Dragonborn, more than she normally would with most men, but despite his constant adventuring, battling and slaying various beasts and bandits, Dragonborn was seemingly innocent in the ways of courtship and women. Admittedly Aela hadn't done much to explain to the man about the finer points of courtship, much less the fairer sex, she had felt comfortablein being Dragonborn's trusted friend.

Of course, that all changed when Dragonborn joined the Dawnguard, and Aela had gotten some decidedly serious competition in the form of Serana Volkihar the pure-blood vampire princess.

Werewolves and vampires had never gotten along as far as Aela knew of the history between both creatures of the night, but Dragonborn had seemingly accepted Serana for what she was and aided her in her quest to bring down her mad cruel father.

Aela wasn't stupid nor was she blind; she could see the way the Leech (as she come to call her) looked at Dragonborn with such desire and longing in her blood-red eyes, the way she smiled softly every time Dragonborn spoke to her or asked her a question. It was part of the way why Aela travelled with Dragonborn so much, both to be close to the man she desired and to keep that bloodsucker away from him. But Serana had also taken to travelling with Dragonborn as well, and Aela would privately admit that the vampire was a powerful sorceress and had aided them many times throughout their years travelling the length and breadth of Skyrim. Even now as they travelled the worlds fighting the Heartless and helping Sora search for his missing family and friends, but that didn't make it any easier. Especially now there was even more competition in the form of Black Cat who seemed to have no problem making her intentions known and appeared to possess the confidence to pursue Dragonborn as a potential mate or in Aela's mind a one-night stand at the very least.

Dragonborn turned his head to look at Aela when she asked him that question. Aela fought the urge to fidget and squirm under his silent stare, his face hidden by his helmet. After what felt like hours, Dragonborn spoke.

"If that's what you want," he said.

"Really?" Aela asked dumbly.

"Yes," Dragonborn confirmed to her.

Serana then piped up with a question, "Would you mind if I came along?"

"I don't mind," Dragonborn said to the vampire.

"Mind if I join in?" Felicia asked with a suggestive smile. "It's been a while since I last went to a party," she said.

Aela fought the urge to turn into her beast form and rip apart both the vampire and the thief for intruding in on her date with Dragonborn. But Dragonborn put a stop to that train of thought as he answered Black Cat's question with, "If that's what you want, then feel free."

"Oh goody! I'll need to go shopping! Mama needs some new heels!" Felicia exclaimed. She then latched onto Dragonborn's arm and asked him in a sweet voice, "Would you mind coming with me? I need a bodyguard while I shop~,"

Veronica quickly spoke up, "I think we all need some appropriate party attire tonight. I've always wanted a new dress and this is a good time as any," she said.

"What about that dress I got for you back home?" Courier asked.

"That's the problem; it's at home and our home is currently destroyed," Veronica said to her.

"Oh, yeah, I forgot," Courier muttered and sighed. "Welp, looks like we're going shopping," she said and she looked at Yuffie and asked, "Any dress or clothing stores around here?"

"Yeah, a new store popped up while you were gone," Yuffie said. "Come to think of it, there's some new stores around now since you guys were here least," she added thoughtfully.

"Well, no time like the present," Jaina said.

"I gotta take the puppies to Pongo and Perdita first," Sora said in realisation. "Anyone wanna come with me?" he asked.

"Dragonborn, why don't you go with Sora to Pongo and Perdita's?" Veronica said to the warrior. "Gives us girls some time to pick out our dresses," she added in explanation.

"Do as you wish," Dragonborn replied to the Scribe. "C'mon Sora, let's take the puppies to their parents," he said to Sora.

The hero of Skyrim and the Keyblade's Chosen then took the Dalmatian puppies to the Second District.

"So? Where abouts is that clothes store?" Courier asked Yuffie who smiled in response.

"Oh, my god… I think I've landed in heaven!" Veronica said in awe and reverence as her eyes went wide with rapture and delight as she looked at the rows and rows of dresses and attire.

"Not bad," Courier remarked in apparent disinterest, but there was an impressed look in her eyes she looked at some dress suits. "Definitely beats a lot of the stuff back home. I don't think even the Ultra Luxe has stuff like this," she said as she examined a fine looking blazer jacket.

"Should we try some of this stuff out?" Christine asked.

"Maybe we should ask the manager or a store attendant what would look best on us?" Jaina asked and as if on cue a short woman with a bob cut of black hair and round wire rimmed glasses perched on her nose walked up to them.

"So, new customer, yes?" the short woman asked in a bored voice. Jaina opened to say something when the tiny women cut her off with, "Don't bother. I already know why you're here." She then looked at Aela and asked her, "Name?"

"Aela the Huntress," Aela said instantly.

"Edna Mode, this is my store," the tiny woman said in a brusque manner. "It seems you all came at a fortunate time, or perhaps unfortunate time as I've had quite an influx of business with everyone in Traverse Town coming here looking for appropriate attire for this evening's festival," she added.

"Do you have time to find us some dresses?" Serana asked.

"We shall see," Edna said dryly she then snapped her fingers, and some store attendants came hustling up. "Now, let us get your measurements and we can see about finding you all something that will make at least one of you the belle of the ball," she added with a smirk on her lips.

A store attendant was assigned to each of the girls as they were then led down the aisles and the attendants began picking out dresses for them to try on.

After being given a pile of dresses to try on, the women were then taken to the changing rooms to try on their dresses. Edna sat primly in a comfortable chair and waited.

After a few minutes, Edna called out to them, "Are you all finished?" she asked.

"I think so?" came a nervous response and stepping out from the first change room was Jaina. Jaina was clad in a long dress that had a short train made of pure white silk like material with gold threaded through it. "I've never worn anything like this before," the Jedi said with a blush on her cheeks.

"And never will again, I fancy," Edna said archly. "Try a different one, the gold is too garish!" she stated.

Meekly, Jaina went back into the stall and changed into something different. Aela was the next to come out from her stall. She wore a deep blue strapless dress that enhanced her bust making her appear curvier. A light blush was on the she-wolf's face as she looked at herself in the mirror. "I've never worn anything like this before," she murmured faintly.

"It looks good, but it's not right for you," Edna said. "Try something else," she ordered.

Reluctantly, Aela went back into the stall to change into one of the other dresses. Serana then came out of her stall wearing a deep plum dress that highlighted her already pale features. Being a vampire, Serana could not blush but she did have a deer in the headlights look on her face as she looked at herself in the mirror.

"It's beautiful," the vampire said to her reflection in awe. Edna sniffed disdainfully and said, "It makes you look too pale. Change!" Bowing her head, Serana went back into her stall to change into another dress.

Veronica walked, or rather strutted out of her stall wearing a scarlet red dress that had one shoulder strap and a slit on the side to show a leg. "I like this one!" Veronica crowed as a wide beaming smile was on her face. The former Scribe was having the time of her life trying on a dress. It made her feel powerful and feminine wearing such fine attire and the tactile feeling of the soft silky material was heaven for her skin.

"No, the red makes you look vulgar. Change!" Edna ordered. Veronica pouted a little but when back into her stall to change into a different dress.

Courier walked stiffly out of her stall, an embarrassed expression on her face as she wore a dark green velvet dress with long opera length black gloves on her arms. "I feel ridiculous!" she said in a terse voice.

"And you look ridiculous. Change!" Edna told her and Courier gladly did so, going back into her stall to change into something else.

Christine stepped out of her stall wearing a fuchsia mini-dress with off the shoulder straps. An awkward look was on the assassin's face as she gazed at her reflection. "I've never worn anything pink before," she said faintly.

"Non, non, not the colour for you. Change, now!" Edna barked at her and Christine hurried back into her stall to change into something else.

Felicia stepped out from her stall, wearing a pure white dress with a short little skirt. There was a deep V on the upper region of the dress that emphasized Felicia's already quite healthy cleavage. Felicia preened a little as she looked at her reflection before frowning and said, "Not for me, I think."

"On that, we agree," Edna said with a nod of her head and bade Felicia to change.

From there it went, with all the girls changing into various dresses and outfits. Some of the dresses they liked, but Edna did not. After almost two hours of dressing and changing into various attires was Edna fully satisfied with the dresses the girls wore.

Aela stepped out from her stall and looked at herself in the mirror and her jaw did its best to drop to the floor as she gazed the stranger that was gawking at her in the looking glass. The dress was a long deep green colour that pooled around her feet a little. Delicate and intricate gold thread weaved around the edges and hems of the dress. The shoulder straps sat somewhere between her shoulders and upper arms and did not loosen, tighten or slip.

"By the Nine…" the she-wolf whispered as she looked at her reflection.

"That suits much better darling," Edna said approvingly.

Aela looked at everyone else and she was quite surprised to see what they all wore. Serana wore a deep red almost purple-black dress that had a neck strap along with a small peekaboo cut-out on the front. Jaina was clad in a sky blue dress that a single shoulder strap with a short frill on it. Courier wore a jump suit that was deep purple colour along with a blazer jacket of the same colour and her expression was one of astonishment. Christine wore a soft gold coloured backless dress that flattered her body. Veronica had the biggest most pleased looking smile on her face as she a wore satin silvery grey dress that looked modest yet flattering all the same. Felicia wore a midnight black number with long black sleeves along with one long leg being exposed.

"Damn! Never wore anything like this before!" Courier uttered as she admired herself in the mirror. She then looked at Veronica and she asked, "You okay, V? You look like you're gonna pass out from happiness."

"I'm in love with this dress!" Veronica gushed. "I wanna be buried in it!" she further stated in euphoria.

"So, is that it then?" Jaina asked Edna. "We're all set?"

"Not quite, darlings. We need to sort out some other thing first before sending you on your way to the party which is still a few hours away," Edna replied with a sly smile on her face.

"Like what?" Serana asked in worry.

"I think I have a good idea what she means," Felicia said with a grin as she began to relish the prospect of a spa day.

Edna clapped her hands and everyone in the group was rushed to another room. Aela, Serana and Courier made some protestive noises as they were sat down in chairs whereas Jaina and Felicia quietly went along with it. Veronica… well, her smile could not get any bigger as she was about to experience her first ever spa day.

Dragonborn and Sora walked back to the first district after dropping off the puppies to their parents. Sora looked at the taller and older warrior and asked him, "So, what do you think the girls are gonna wear for the party this evening?"

"Don't know. Never really pictured Aela or Serana wearing something like party attire," Dragonborn said casually. "Veronica seemed quite pleased at the prospect of wearing a dress," he added.

"Do you think we should get some party attire?" the Keyblade's Chosen asked. Dragonborn looked at Sora for a long moment before saying, "Well, if everyone else is going to the trouble of wearing party attire, I suppose we should too."

"Anywhere we can buy a suit from?" Sora said looking around.

Dragonborn soon spotted a store and pointed it out to Sora and they quickly walked into the store where they found the owner of the store and some attendants and surprisingly, Leon, Colonel Hsu and General Tullius were in the store.

"Dragonborn, Sora. What are you two doing here?" Hsu asked as he looked at the pair in surprise.

"We came to get ourselves fitted for suits for the party tonight," Dragonborn replied.

"I remember the last time you wore a suit was at the Thalmor Embassy if I'm not mistaken," Tullius said with some amusement. "Hopefully you won't have someone cause a scene like you did that time," he added in jest.

"Let's hope not, General," Dragonborn said in agreement.

"Why did you have some cause a scene at the last party you were at?" Sora asked looking at Dragonborn in surprise.

"Long story short, I needed to get into the Thalmor Embassy because I needed information on why the dragons were returning," the Slayer of Alduin said. "Let's just find us something appropriate to wear this evening," he added.

A store attendant then took Dragonborn and Sora's measurements before picking out some suits for them choose from.

After trying on some of the suits, Sora had decided on a navy-blue suit with a light silvery-grey silk dress shirt and a black bowtie along with spit-polished black leather shoes on his feet. Dragonborn wore a dark black suit with a crimson red shirt and a dark purple waistcoat with intricate designs on the threading and a black skinny tie around his neck and he wore spit-polished black leather shoes same as Sora did.

"What do you think?" Sora asked Dragonborn who currently had his helmet off and he looked at Sora and shrugged.

"Up to you at the end of the day. I can't really judge as I've never really worn a suit before," the older man said to the Keyblade's Chosen. "I've always worn armour for the most part," he added self-deprecatingly.

"Well, I imagine you both might want to trim your hair a bit before making an final decisions," Tullius advised them.

Dragonborn ran a hand on his jaw and realised that he had grown a bit of a beard and it had been sometime since he had shaved or cut his hair. Nodding his head, Dragonborn then said, "Aye. We'd want to look neat and presentable this evening."

Hsu then told Sora and Dragonborn of a barber shop just next door and the two then headed for the shop where they were sat down and given a trim.

An hour later, Dragonborn was clean shaven and his locks of silver-gold hair were much shorter then before. Sora's hair was a trimmed back a little giving it a much tidier appearance, but Sora preferred his hair the way it was, although he had a feeling his mother and Jaina would want him to trim his hair back a little.

"All ready?" Dragonborn asked Sora as they were both clad in their suits, both looking snazzy and smart.

"As ready as I'll ever be," Sora said with a bright smile.

"Alright then, let's get going," Dragonborn said as he and Sora then headed for the First District where the party was just about to be opened for everyone in Traverse Town.

Music and chatter filled the air as the residents of Traverse Town, both new and current mingled together. Tables laden with food and drink from boar roasted in goose fat on beds of apples, potatoes and carrots, thick cuts of beef or venison roasted and swimming in pan juices sat on silver platters, honeyed, herbed or spiced chicken sat on beds of pine nuts, large trouts baked in clay or bread crumbs sat on green leaves and pies stuffed with either pork, chicken or rabbit meat and vegetables were loaded onto tables that almost sagged under the weight. Sweet treats sat on another table from cakes of nearly every kind from chocolate variations to fruit-based flavours and many soused with sugary frosting or heavy whipped creams and in bowls were sweet little candies.

Over on another table sat drinks of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages sat with glassware from pint glasses to champagne flutes arranged into pyramid formations. On an open stage the brothers Huey, Dewey and Louie were playing a variety of instruments, filling the atmosphere with musical ambience.

Sora looked around and asked, "So, where are the girls? They should be here by now."

"Have some patience, lad. I imagine it takes time to get dressed for women," Dragonborn said to him. "At the very least, we can grab ourselves something to eat while we wait," he added as he led Sora over to the food table. Dragonborn took for himself a plate of roasted boar and potatoes and some little chicken pies along with a large pint of sweet sticky mead to wash it down with. Sora took a plate of spiced chicken and a bottle what he was told called Ice Cold Nuka-Cola.

Sitting at a free table, the pair began to eat while they waited for their companions to make their entrance. The pair did not wait long as they heard a familiar voice speak to them.

"There you two are."

Sora and Dragonborn looked at saw what their female companions. Sora wasn't overly affected given that his heart belonged to another and the fact he saw Aela, Serana, Courier and Veronica as friends and older siblings and Jaina being his older sister by blood supported that sentiment. Dragonborn had a wide-eyed look on his face as he saw what Aela, Serana and Felicia wore; he also noted that they had hair done and wore make-up. Aela's traditional Nord warpaint had been removed and her makeup was light and subtle enhancing her features. Serana's lips were painted a light pink and she had a faint dusting of blush on her cheeks making her seem more human in appearance. Felicia's lips were lacquered a deep red almost black colour along with smoky eye shadow.

"Wow, you guys look great!" Sora said to the women. "Don't they?" he asked looking at Dragonborn who still had that wide-eyed look on his face.

"Harbinger?" Aela said to the warrior who still looked stunned.

"We must scrub up nicely if he can't say a word," Black Cat remarked in amusement.

"I'm… sorry, it's just… I've never seen you in a dress before," Dragonborn said awkwardly. "You all look… very… lovely," he tried to compliment, a faint blush on his cheeks.

"And you look very handsome, Dragonborn," Serana said to him with a soft smile on her lips. "If I'd known just how good you looked in a suit, I'd have tried to get you into one sooner," she added jestingly. Dragonborn glanced off to the side, looking a little embarrassed.

"Well, in any case, seems you two already grabbed some food," Courier stated. "And I could do with a drink. If I'm gonna enjoy this night, I wanna get blind drunk!"

Veronica looked at Christine and a nervous shy look was on the Scribe's face as she said, "Would you like to dance, Christine?"

A hue of crimson flushed across Christine's face as she stuttered out, "Um… Y-yes, I'd-I'd love to!" With deep crimson red faces, Christine and Veronica went onto the makeshift dancefloor where they gazed longingly into each other's eyes as they swayed together on the spot.

Aela, Serana and Felicia looked at the two former Brotherhood of Steel members swaying gently on the dancefloor and they glanced at each other then at Dragonborn who looked at them. The gleam in their eyes set the warrior on edge and he almost wanted to bolt and hide somewhere for the night.

"Would you like to dance with me!?" Aela, Serana and Felicia all but screamed at Dragonborn who looked too flustered to mount any sort of response. Luckily Jaina came to the rescue saying, "You can all take it in turns tonight. Plenty of time for everyone to dance with each other," she said sagely.

"Dibs!" Felicia shouted as she latched onto Dragonborn's arm and hauled him out onto the dancefloor much to Aela and Serana's seething fury. Sora couldn't help but laugh at the predicament Dragonborn had found himself in and Jaina had an amused smile on her lips.

Dragonborn found himself in Black Cat's embrace as they made their way onto the dancefloor. He had never been a situation like this and he had no idea how to dance, let along with a woman. Felicia quickly instructed him how to hold her; holding her right hand in his left and placing his right hand on her hip, Dragonborn was quickly moving in step with Felicia as the band began to play a lively tune.

Felicia was pleasantly surprised to see that for a first timer, Dragonborn had excellent footwork as he did not even tread on her toes. "You dance very well. You done this before?" she asked conversationally as she spun out before going back into the man's embrace.

"No. Never," Dragonborn replied.

"Well, you certainly have good footwork. Where did you learn?" Felicia enquired.

"All the time fighting bandits, Stormcloak rebels and dangerous beasts in Skyrim taught me the importance of good footwork," Dragonborn explained. "A misstep could easily spell my demise," he said matter-of-factly.

"Oh, but this is a different kind of battle altogether, one where I have greater experience," Black Cat said mischievously as she giggled. She glanced out of the corner of her eye and saw Aela and Serana standing on the sidelines with smoke practically coming off their heads as they watched her and Dragonborn dance.

"Then I concede to your greater experience, my lady," Dragonborn said formally.

"No need to be so formal with me, handsome, especially after I'm through with you after tonight," Felicia flirted shamelessly and her smile grew wider as she noticed the gritting teeth Aela and Serana had.

"Why? What's going to happen?" Dragonborn asked innocently. Felicia blinked in surprise as she heard that innocent tone to the man's voice and she said to him, "You've never done this before, have you?"

"Never done what before?" Dragonborn asked in confusion.

"Huh. I would've thought that a man like you would've had some experience by now," Felicia said in surprise.

"Experience in what?" Dragonborn asked frowning as he wondered just what Felicia was getting at.

Felicia then smiled and replied, "I'll tell you later, handsome. Right now, I think it's best if I go get myself a refreshment before your bodyguards come over and rip me apart." Felicia smoothly removed herself from Dragonborn's arms and sauntered off to the drinks table just as Aela and Serana came marching over to pull Dragonborn off the dancefloor.

"Are you made, Harbinger?!" Aela hissed angrily. "We can't trust her!" she spat venomously.

"Can't trust who?" Dragonborn asked feeling very confused.

"You know who!" Serana seethed as she gestured over to Black Cat who smiled flirtatiously and waved her hand coquettishly at Dragonborn.

"She doesn't mean any harm," Dragonborn said feeling a need to defend Felicia from Aela and Serana's accusatory words.

Aela and Serana both looked at each other and sighed heavily. "What's gotten into you two? You're both acting very strange," Dragonborn pointed out.

"Never mind. Let's just enjoy this night before we end up making a scene," Serana said to the man.

"Would either of you like a dance?" Dragonborn then asked them.

"I'd love to, Harbinger," Aela said quickly feeling her mood brighten. Serana smiled and said that she would wait for her turn.

After taking turns dancing with Dragonborn, the three then left the dancefloor to get something to drink. They quickly found Courier sitting at a table with Veronica and Christine all drinking a strange beverage that glowed a bright neon blue. Courier had a very unfocussed look in her eyes as she looked up at Dragonborn, Aela and Serana and her voice was slurry as she greeted them.

"HhHHheEeeEeYYyyy, you guyssshh made it!" Courier said. It was quite clear to the Skyrim natives that Courier was well on her way to being blind drunk. "You-You-You guys gots to try this-this, dr-drink!" she added. "It's… uhh… whatsit called again, Tina?" she asked looking at Christine who also looked very drunk.

"I-I-I tink it's called Mooka-Shiny," the assassin hiccuped as she took another swig of the glowing blue alcohol from her glass.

"No-No-No, it's Nuka-Shine!" Veronica corrected with a drunken laugh. "I don't what it is, but it's *hic* gooooooooooooooooddddd!" she slurred out.

"Nuka-Shine? What's that?" Felicia asked as she, Jaina and Sora came to join them.

"Looks like really strong alcohol if the way these three are acting is any indication," Jaina remarked. "Gotta wonder what's in it to make it glow like that," she then said as she eyed the phosphorene blue liquid apprehensively.

"YoU GuYs WaNNa TrY sOmE?" Courier slurred out.

"I don't think we should," Aela said guardedly.

"Aw, c'mon!" Veronica whined out. "Don't be chicken! Bawk-Bawk!"

"I am no coward!" Aela said with a stern frown. "Pour me one! Double!" she ordered.

"If Aela's game, I suppose I could try some," Dragonborn said.

"Sounds fun. Maybe I'll glow in the dark after a shot or two of this stuff," Felicia said.

Sora looked at the glowing alcohol which his older sister noticed and said to him sternly, "You are not trying it, Sora! You're too young! Besides Mom and Dan would kill me if they knew I let you drink alcohol."

"I wasn't gonna," Sora said in a small voice.

"Go try some of the candy," Jaina told him, and Sora walked over to the dessert table to try some of the candy that was on offer.

After being served a glass of the Nuka-Shine, Dragonborn raised his glass in a toast, "Cheers everyone." Everyone clinked their glasses together and took a sip of their drinks.

As Dragonborn drank his glass, his vision became hues of blue, purple and indigo and everything seemed to move much slower and his thinking became clouded and then it all started to become a blur for him as images popped into his head before finally darkness took him.

The sound of a cuckoo clock rang into the room as the occupant on a large bed stirred awake with a pained groan. Dragonborn opened his eyes and closed them tightly shut as he felt his head begin pounding. It was as if a herd of mammoths and giants had decided to dance around inside his head. Silently wishing the pain would go away, Dragonborn slowly sat up in the bed and he wondered just how he ended up in this room. It was then the warrior realised that he was currently naked save for a bedsheet and he was not alone either.

Sprawled out on the bed beside him, all equally naked as he, were Aela, Serana and Felicia. All were practically comatose as they lay there on the mattress nude.

Now Dragonborn was not completely innocent or stupid in the sense that he knew nothing of the birds and the bees as one were to put it, he just simply never had time for it and he had never done it before. But it became clearly apparent to the hero of Skyrim that he become a man now as one could put it.

Laying back on the bed, Dragonborn wondered on what he could even say to Aela, Serana and Felicia. Granted, he knew that Aela and Serana had a rivalry of sorts and always seemed to want to be close to him, but he had always put it to one side and chalked it up to the traditional rivalry werewolves and vampires had with each other. Felicia was different as she was a relatively new member to the group as a whole given that she had stowed away on the Gummi Ship, but she had clearly shown a flirty side to her.

"how did this even happen?" Dragonborn asked himself as he wondered just how he was going to even explain this. His first thought was to dress himself quietly and move his sleeping companions into separate rooms and let them they had fallen asleep separately after a long night.

But it seemed fate had other ideas as each of Dragonborn's sleeping companions awoke from their alcohol induced slumber. Each of the girls slowly rose, rubbing their eyes and they looked at Dragonborn, tired smiles on their faces as they saw his half naked state, but then they noticed each other.

The receptionist at the front desk of the hotel was doing some paperwork when what could only be likened to a banshee's scream rung across the hallway. The receptionist looked from his ledger, shook his head and went back to bookkeeping, now mentally filing an order for a hangover cure for the hotel's clients.

TO BE CONTINUED…

A/N: There! After a long wait, the tenth chapter of this is done and dusted. I apologise for the wait, but I was trying to find the creative juices necessary for this chapter and I hope I did not disappoint.

Obviously, now the dynamic between Dragonborn, Aela, Serana and Black Cat has changed quite drastically and there will be a very long awkward talk in the next chapter. And they won't be the only ones who have woken up in bed with each other, *wink, wink, nudge, nudge*.

In other news, I'm working on yet another GoT/DC Comics crossover idea and I'm trying to figure what the setting should. With that in mind, I've set up a poll on my profile of what the setting should be and so far a Dark Knights of Steel setting is the most popular with a Mortal Kombat setting and an Infinity Crisis/Marvel/DC setting sharing second place. There are some other options to choose from, but the three I just mentioned are the most popular by far. So if you see an option you want to take the top spot, then you know what to do.

Anyways, not much else to say so I'll leave this here and I'll see you all in the next one.

Be kind to one another,

Angry lil' elf.
