Lincoln ran out of the bar and saw people running away from the gunfight. This gave a chance for Lincoln to blend into the crowd as he made his way to Monument Island. He then broke away from the crowd and went through the alleyway until he came to a statue of John Wilkes Booth. He heard a loudspeaker attached to a light post.
"Watch out for the false prophet who is trying to lead our lamb away, and beware of any other things that are out of the norm. May God be with us," said the speaker through the loudspeaker.
Who the hell is that? Lincoln thought
Lincoln ignored it and tried to get on the island with all he had to get on the rails, and hopefully, they didn't lock the island off. But the loud trouble came as he tried to reach the end of the island he was on. Lincoln gets stopped by three police officers.
"Hold up, I 've never seen you before." said one of the police officer
"Well, I never came to this part of the city," said Lincoln.
"Uh huh, what with the white hair?" said the second police officer
"I was just born with it, sir."
"It's possible it's unnatural for only old people and our prophet to have white hair."
"Unless he could be with a false prophet," said the third police officer.
The police officer's gasp at that made Lincoln feel that this wouldn't end well.
"You're coming with us, boy," said the second police officer.
"For what? I didn't do anything," said Lincoln.
One of the police officers tried to grab Lincoln, but he moved his arm away from the officer.
"Don't make this difficult, little shit," said the first officer.
Then one of them tried to punch Lincoln, but he dodged and ran away from the crowd. He turned and saw the cops coming after him, waving billy clubs and their own skyhooks. Then Lincoln saw soldiers up ahead, and the police officer screamed.
"Stop him. He's with the false prophet!"
Then one soldier took out his pistol and fired at Lincoln, who blocked the bullet thanks to his new shield. Lincoln saw an open the door to a building, and he ran straight to the building and closed the door. He then grabbed a dresser and pulled it against the door.
Great, now they think I'm with this false prophet Lincoln thought.
Lincoln then looked around and saw that it was a housing home. He then walked toward the back of the home to get out. Lincoln walked into the kitchen and found the backdoor, but when he opened the door, he got punched by one of the police officers that were chasing him. Lincoln fell to the ground, and the cop tried to strangle him.
"I got him, you guys!" the cop shouted.
Getting strangled by the cop, Lincoln tried to get the cop off of him; with no other choice, he reached down to grab his colt revolver, put the gun near the cop's chest, and shot him. The officer fell to the right side of Lincoln with lifeless eyes and looked at Lincoln as he got up. The first thing Lincoln did was throw up on the kitchen counter.
Oh God, I killed someone. I actually shot someone and killed a person, Lincoln thought.
Lincoln tried to use the sister twin's suggestion to make this terrible feeling disappear, but only half worked. Lincoln walked out of the kitchen to see a few soldiers taking positions and starting to shoot at him. He took cover behind a tree and fired back at the soldiers. He saw that now some soldiers were shooting at him with rifles. Luckily for Lincoln, he saw a broken fence and quickly went through it.
Lincoln ended up in the backyard of another house, and he ran out onto the streets. He looked and saw a nearby He jumped up and hooked his skyhook onto it; for a brief moment, he thought he was safe, but then he noticed a few soldiers chasing after saw a roof and dropped onto it. Lincoln landed on his feet and used a nearby ladder to come down from the roof. He saw that he was at a nearby transport station, and Lincoln was close to Monument Island. Then Lincoln noticed a broken crate and went toward it. He found a vigor shaped like a horse called "Bucking Bronco."
This could come in handy, Lincoln thought.
Lincoln drank the vigor, then suddenly a brown and black filter came to his vision when he looked at his hand, and it was breaking apart like a piece of ground and showing his veins. Then Lincoln heard a horse neighing in his head. Then suddenly, all of it stops.
Woah, that was intense, Lincoln thought.
Then three cops came running at him. Lincoln took this opportunity to use his new Vigor, and it lifted three cops, giving him a chance to shoot at them, killing the three cops. He then used the skyline, hooked his skyhook, and rode toward the monument island. He only has to get through one more station. When he arrived at the station, there was a turret and a couple of soldiers surrounding the exit of the station.
"Killed the white demon!" one of the soldiers shouted.
Maybe I used that possession vigor on the turret, Lincoln thought.
Lincoln got behind a large cargo and used his possession vigor on the turret. It turned on the soldiers and shot at them, giving enough time for Lincoln, then used the bronco vigor on the few remaining soldiers and shot at them. With no one in his way, Lincoln headed to the final station. When he got there was no police or soldier, just two vending machines, but Lincoln finally took a breath but felt weak. He then saw a blue bottle, and he looked at it as a bottle of salts and read on the back that it was used to help regenerate a person's Vigor.
Lincoln drank it, and it tasted awful once he finished. Then Lincoln thought about what had happened to him in the past two hours.
I'm going to therapy after this. I just have to find this girl and get back home to my family. That's all that matters at this point. Lincoln thought
He used his possession vigor on the vending machine to get ammo and enter the monument island.
