Magic Among Cybertron
ESKK: A filler chapter folks please enjoy it and review upon completion.
(Start Fortress Maximus Dinobot Island)
After the battle for Fortress Maximus the Autobots had managed to gain a moment of peace. They had managed to acquire the Titan and thanks to their human contacts have secured a location to hide him out in. The location in question was rich with Energon and isolated that no one would come looking. More so a bit of runic work and spells on the magical side of things and Maximus was secured with the Dinobots acting as his caretakers.
At the moment swoop had goggles on as he was working on the final bit of repairs for Fortress Maximus. Preceptor and Red Alert were also seen hard at work as Ironhide was helping out by carrying some heavy equipment with Sludge. Not too far away Elita was holding a data pad as on it was a logistics list of all the equipment and tech found on Fortress Maximus.
"Hey Elita, where does this go?" Moonracer asked holding a box with Cybertronian writing on it as Elita looked.
Looking it over she saw what was in the box and nodded to it. "Spare Parts and replacements, goes in section B over there." Elita said pointing Moonracer to where the item goes.
"Hey, Elita I have a container of weapons where do you want it?" Snarl called out as he carried the container with weapons.
"Munitions and Weapons goes to section D right there." Elita said pointing to the growing pile of weapons found withing Fortress Maximus. The Autobots were trying to spruce up the old Titan while salvaging what they could for the war effort against the Decepticons. Elita then sighed in content as she enjoyed this being reminded of her time as a Dock Worker back in Iacon handling imports and exports.
"Elita." Came another voice which Elita looked and saw that it was Grimlock. "Slag and I finished cleared out the trees from that area like you asked." Grimlock reported as he approached the femme leader. "I also had Slag go help out with clean up and repairs but mind if I ask, why you had us clear that area out?" Grimlock asked as Elita smiled to this.
"As you know we have humans under our charge, one of them well he sees me as his carrier, and I cannot help but see him as my sparkling." Elita explained as she looked to Grimlock. "I hoped to turn the area into a bit of a vacation home for him." Elita said as she looked to the Dinobot leader who nodded in understanding.
"Still hard to imagine you raising a fleshy." Grimlock said as Elita then glared at the Dinobot leader.
"Is that a problem?" She asked almost challenging which Grimlock knew to back off.
"No not at all." He said raising his hands in surrender knowing even with his newfound strength he did NOT want to cross Elita.
"Didn't think so." Elita said as she then looked back to her data pad. "Well, if you're not busy you can make yourself useful by helping the Bots finish repairs on Fortress Maximus." Elita said as she then pointed back to the Autobots suggesting for Grimlock to make himself useful.
"Alright." Grimlock said and thus got over to help the Bots with Fortress Maximus so Grimlock and his team can move in.
"Today is a lovely day." Elita said as she then got a communication from Remus back at the base.
"Elita, do you read me?" Remus asked as Elita heard the werewolf on the other end of the call.
"Elita here, go ahead Remus." Elita responded and in turn Remus sighed to this.
"You may wish to sit down but I have news on Harry." Remus said and thus Elita chuckled to this.
"How bad can it be?" Elita asked as she knew Harry could not have done so bad that Remus had to call her.
(Meanwhile from afar)
"HARRY DID WHAT?!" Elita's yell was heard as the tropical birds all flew away in panic from the leader's yell. Clearly whatever it was that Harry had done was that bad.
(Scene Break Hogwarts)
Harry sat in the headmaster's office as he came to grips with what had happened yesterday. It all started out as normal people gawking at him and praising him for winning the game the day prior. Of course, it came crashing down when Malfoy had decided to set Harry off. Harry of course knew he was in trouble since Remus would find out and by extension his mother would find out as well.
(Flashback Yesterday)
The morning post had arrived as everyone was eating breakfast. Harry and Hermione were sitting together with Sparkplug chewing on a steel beam like a chew toy. Sparkplug normally used Energon to sustain himself and thankfully he had his regular delivery curtesy of Moonracer. Everyone was having a wonderful meal to start the day when the morning post arrived. Among the letters was one addressed to Ronald Weasley who sat at the other end of the Gryffindor table.
It wasn't until a student noticed that things started to get a bit nasty for Ron. "Oi look Weasley's got a howler." A student called out when he noted what Ron got in the mail.
Just then Ron carefully opened the letter in which the Howler began to come through. "RONALD BILIUS WEASLEY!" A loud angry voice shrieked as it caused Sparkplug to jump and hit his head on the table causing the plats on the table to shake. All eyes went to Ron as the Howler went on a tirade. NEVER HAVE YOUR FATHER AND I BEEN GIVEN A LETTER FROM YOUR TEACHER ABOUT ANY OF OUR BOYS BULLYING ANOTHER STUDENT TO FACE A TROLL!" The Howler yelled as it was clear that Ron was in deep trouble now. "YOU HAVENT EVEN FINISHED YOUR FIRST TERM AND YOU ARE ALREADY IN SO MUCH TROUBLE!" The Howler yelled as Ron knew the voice well as that of his own mother. "IF YOU PUT SO MUCH AS ANOTHER TOE OUT OF LINE OR I GET A LETTER OF YOU BULLYING OTHER STUDENTS AGAIN I WILL COME OVER THERE PERSONALLY AND DRAG YOUR ARSE BACK HOME MYSELF!" The Howler said before the tirade came to an end.
"Damn!" Sparkplug announced via the radio of him boombox form.
"I suppose that is an um... unique form of Howler." Hermione said no doubt having read up on them.
"No kidding I reckon it might be from his mum." Harry said as Remus had told them both about the Howlers. "Thank Merlin I don't have to worry about that from my mum." Harry said as he was hardly one to act up to the point of warranting it.
"Harry, you know what they say about tempting fate." Hermione said knowing that Harry was just asking for it now.
"I know but come on I'm quite certain I have a good head on my shoulders." Harry said but Hermione knew there was cause for concern her. Hermione could only sigh as her childhood friend began to grow his bloated head a bit. It would seem that Harry was about to receive instant karma when the Daily Prophet was seen.
Looking around Hermione began to notice something amiss going on. "Pardon me can I borrow that?" Hermione asked the student closest to her with a copy.
"Oh of course." The student said as she was done reading it anyway and in turn Hermione looked it over before going wide eyed on what she saw.
As he mopped up egg yolk with the last of his toast, Harry did gradually become aware that the murmur in the hall had slowly died down. He noted an unusual number of people looking at him, including students at other tables. "Umm… Harry…" Hermione said quietly as she took notice of the growing tension after reading the prophet. "We should get to class, I think." Hermione said as this caused Harry to glance sharply at her, noting that her face was unusually pale, her eyes wide and concerned. She caught his gaze, and hastily folded her copy of the Daily Prophet in her lap.
"Hermione, what's going on?" Harry demanded as he suspected something was wrong. Scanning the room again, he could see that most of the stares he was getting were coming from the knots of people around the newspaper readers. "What's in the paper?" Harry asked as he wanted answers to why the tension had shifted.
"Harry…" Hermione began but was cut off by Harry
"Give it," Harry demanded, holding out a hand to which Hermione found no other choice but to comply with a wince. Harry pulled the newspaper open and saw on the front page a wizarding photo of his mother the day Bellatrix visited his home. But the image was not at all flattering to Elita or the Autobots.
"DAILY PROPHET EXCLUSIVE! Titans walk among us Boy Who Lived Raised By newly discovered creatures! New Details Come to Light!" the headline boldly proclaimed which caused rage to slowly boil up in Harry's chest as he read the article.
"The disappearance of the Boy who Lived just days after the death of You-Know-Who is an event known to wizards and witches throughout magical Britain, but what has remained shrouded in secrecy until now is with whom Harry Potter spent the last twelve years. After exhaustive research, a disturbing picture of Harry Potter's upbringing by a new unknown creature has emerged."
"Long time readers will recall that several years ago a breakout in Azkaban had occurred that saw Bellatrix Lestrange and several other Death Eaters escape and attack a seemingly random muggle home. But the truth was that the random home was in fact the home of Harry Potter and the creatures who had abducted him."
"Now many of you must be wondering why the Aurors have refused to rescue dear young Harry from the creatures who stole him away as a babe. Well upon further investigation it was revealed that the Aurors were unaware of this and when asked it became clear that an outer force was at work a muggle one."
"Yes, dear readers it would seem that these creatures are under the protection of the Muggles whose government has saw fit to harbor these creatures. Is this the first move in what may be a war with the muggles or is this the first act to destroy our very way of life? Why was a statement not shared, why has the Muggle Government not returned to us or golden boy? Finally, and most troubling of all, is it safe for Harry Potter to be around our children at Hogwarts when so little is known about exactly what sort of a person he has become after a childhood in the company of monsters?"
Harry heard a grinding noise and realized that it was his own teeth. He tore the newspaper in half and tossed it aside. Looking across the hall, he saw Draco Malfoy holding a copy of the Daily Prophet – even though he wasn't a regular subscriber – and wearing a vicious smirk on his face. He said something to the other Slytherins, and whatever it was prompted a wave of laughter. Sparkplug then whined which got Harry's attention down to the Minicon.
Hermione touched Harry's shoulder lightly which caused Harry to turn towards her and came to realize that he was panting and slowed his breath. "Harry, it'll be okay. No one's going to believe that rubbish," Hermione said as she tried to reassure him.
Another glance around the room showed Harry a different story. Tidbits from the article were already spreading, and he could see mistrustful glances from the tables of the other three houses. Even his fellow Gryffindors were drawing back slightly, looking at him with a new, evaluative light. Harry glanced up at the teacher's table, but Professor Snape was the only faculty member present, and he was reading the Prophet too, an amused smile on his pinched face. Harry knew that the Potions master didn't like him and even understood why; Harry's father had been his bitter rival when they were in school.
"You're right, Hermione," Harry said quietly. "We should go to class." His appetite suddenly gone, Harry grabbed his bag and got up. Hermione followed suit with Sparkplug close on his tail where they departed from the Great Hall with the weary eye of everyone on him.
(Later that day)
After first period, it got worse. Every other person in the halls had a copy of the Prophet, sent by owl from concerned parents and older siblings. On his way through the halls to second period, someone in a knot of older Slytherins and Ravenclaws yelled. "Is it true your mum's a monster, Potter?"
Harry turned, emerald eyes furious, but he couldn't see who'd said it, and didn't recognize the voice. He did note snickers from several Slytherins in the group, all of whom were smirking at him.
"C'mon Harry, they're just being jerks," Hermione murmured trying to keep Harry calm as Sparkplug growled ready to maul at the needed time.
Second period was Charms, and as Professor Flitwick was demonstrating the day's lesson, eyes in the classroom turned to the chalkboard behind him. A piece of chalk had been enchanted by someone because it rose from its resting place and started to draw. Harry's eyes narrowed at the sight of a fairly artistic rendering of his mother that started moving once it was drawn. The chalk form of Elita began stomping and slaughtering stick figures like a giant of a fairy tale story a manic grin on her face. In spite of the inaccuracies of the portrayal, Harry could feel his blood boiling, especially when first a few people and then most of the class started laughing.
Flitwick was unamused when he turned around and saw the display, but he was even less amused when Harry blew the piece of chalk apart with a spell of his own, breaking the animation charm. That got him a detention for unauthorized spellcasting in class. Harry took the detention slip with gritted teeth and left.
Harry didn't want to go to lunch at all, but neither Hermione nor Sparkplug were going to let the boy go hungry. Inside the Great Hall, things were every bit as bad as he'd expected. Someone had created dozens of large posters with pictures of Elita and the other Autobots from the Prophet, all looking positively villainous. Below those images was a picture of Harry, and a few words printed in bold text: "Who is the real Harry Potter?" The posters were plastered on the walls and even floating through the air above the tables.
Hermione's eyes narrowed and she started dispelling the magic levitating the posters within range. To their credit, a number of Gryffindors including Harry's mates from the quidditch team were doing the same, but more posters kept appearing out of thin air to replace the ones that fell.
Harry could feel his pulse pounding at his temples, anger like none he'd felt roaring through his veins. Harry was not having a fun time. He had come here to live a normal life like his mother wanted him to, so he'd done his best to smile, to make friends, to have a normal school life, one of which she'd be proud.
Soon enough, Harry left the great halls after getting enough of his fill of food and mocking, not wanting to see any more of those posters, as when one was floating near the doors, he grab at it, pulling it down from the air and rip it apart making it lose it magic of keeping itself floating, as he swears the next person that talks bad about his family, he'll make them wish they never meet him.
As he walk down the halls as he tries to get to get to his next class to get this day over with and write a letter to Mr. Walker and hope he'll take care of this breech of secrecy and hopefully take care of the one responsible for it, but before he could get to the great stair case he hear a familiar arrogant voice calling out saying, "Where you going Potter!"
Harry stopped in his tracks as Draco and his two goons were with him seem to be either following him or waiting for him to appear like stalkers, as he took a breath and said to the white hair child, "I'm not in the mood for this Malfoy."
"What's wrong potter, can't handle the news well," Draco said as unaware to him, he was walking in a minefield as Draco went on saying, "I've read the papers, if I didn't see it, I wouldn't have believed it."
Harry balled up his fist a bit as he kept his anger back, but his blood was soon heating up as Draco came up to harry as he kept on saying, "You a child to a metal golem, if I didn't know Potter, maybe you shouldn't have come to Hogwarts at all, if you came from a family of monsters."
At that moment harry saw was red, with Draco gotten a bit to close, as Harry heard his footsteps and knew how close he was as Harry quickly turn around and gave Draco a swift punch in his face, as Malfoy drop down to the ground with a thud was heard while Draco held his nose started to bleed as he cried out.
Crabbe and Goyle was surprise by this as they didn't think Harry Potter would respond like that as they try to get him, only to for one of them to get kicked in the knee and the other socked in his jaw which stun the student before it was follow up by a knee to his gut that made him fall down hard and the other guy with the hurt knee gotten a kick across his chest that made him loss all the air in his lungs as he fell back gasping for air while moaning in pain.
Draco tries to get up only to for Harry to put his foot on his chest as he said to him, "You know what Draco… I wouldn't mind if you make fun of me, pick on me and such as I get the whole Gryffindor and Slytherin rivalry… but when someone bring in my family and call them a monster when they don't understand a thing or meet them for real, its became more personal to me, and I will make you wish you have never spoken at all."
Harry removed his foot and pick Draco up by his robes and slug him in his gut that made him gasp out in pain. Harry then proceeded to punch Draco in the face again but this time giving him a black eye before tossing him over away from his two "Friends" or whatever they were to him. Harry then started to come over to the arrogant pureblood prat, not done with him just yet.
Before he could he got tackled down by Crabbe as he punch him giving harry a bit of a bloody lip and try to pin him down, only to receive a knee to their privates and gotten flip over on his back with Harry raise his fist and punch the guy a few time in his face with Goyle pull out his wand as he was about to do something until Harry saw movement in the corner of his eyes as he flip Crabbe over and used him as a human shield as he case out, "Stupefy!"
The spell hit Crabbe knocking the kid out as Goyle saw what he did as he was shocked by this while harry pulled out Crabbe's wand as he was unable to his get out with the way he is and cast out, "Expelliarmus!"
A red spell shot out and hit Goyle wand, making it fly out of his hand while Harry throw Crabbe off of him and his wand before rushing Goyle as Harry slug him across his face a few times with the final punch knock him out as he fell backwards out cold.
Harry stood there with his fist shaking and a bit of blood on his knuckles as he took a moment to catch his breath as this was the most fighting, he ever done against bullies, as he may have gotten into some fights before but never this violent as then he heard someone gasp before shouting out, "Mr. Potter!"
When Harry look and to his own surprise to see Professor McGonagall there with a Shock look upon her face as she saw the scene before her, with students down with Harry Potter standing over them.
(End Flashback)
After that the Professor took harry and the three boys to the medical wing, while Harry injury were mild, the other injuries were a worst, and took a bit of time to heal them, even with magic.
While Harry was healed, he was soon sent and confine to his dormitory until things were sorted out and the parents of everyone involved that fight was contacted, with Crabbe and Goyle's families of mostly their father seem disappointed in them of what happen and gotten beat up by a half-blood as they said under their breath, even worst by little magic was used in the fight itself as all the magic was used are recorded in the two boy's wands while Harry remained cleared of any activity.
Nothing serious as they didn't say anything about Harry, but Draco's father was a different story was It wasn't looking good for Harry as he sitting in Dumbledore's office as they waited for Mr. Malfoy and one other person Harry and Dumbledore were waiting for as it seem Harry refuse to say anything to the old man himself not trusting anything until his mother arrives to tell her the story.
Suddenly the doors to the office were open forcefully by a man who had long white haired and had that look where he was always looking down his nose on people. The new arrival was dressed in Black with a cane in his hand and a sour look on his face as Dumbledore soon called out, "Mr. Malfoy, so glad for you to join us today."
"Cut the pleasantries Dumbledore." Lucius snapped as he glared at the man. "Why is that vicious little delinquent not on his way to Azkaban?" He demanded as he glared at Harry. "Are you completely incapable of protecting your students?" He accused while glaring at Dumbledore and Harry.
"Of course, I am Mr. Malfoy but any incident such as these need to be investigated and the Guardians of all parties involved are required." Dumbledore said as he knew the proxy form of Elita should not be able to handle the magic around the school.
"And where is the urchin's guardian?" Lucius asked glaring at Harry.
"I would assume that being a muggle she might not be able to attend so I'd be more than happy to." Dumbledore began before the doors opened and from them Remus and Elisa walked in. Preceptor had no doubt studied magic and created a countermeasure to prevent any technology from short circuiting from the EMP Effect Magic causes.
Lucius glared at the woman before him yet silently admitted she was quiet fetching. "Who are you? How dare you enter here uninvited." Lucius demanded only for Elisa to make her way towards Harry.
"I'm his mother, Elisa Pax." Elisa said not even bothering to look Lucius in the eye. "Remus contacted me about the situation what I would like to know is what compelled you to pick a fight?" Elisa asked as she thought she raised Harry not to utilize violence if it could be helped.
"Sorry mum but you see." Harry began but Lucius cut in on this.
"What is there to question my boy was struck and gravely injured!?" Lucius demanded but Elisa glared at him.
"The words of your son, I'd like to hear my son's side of the story." Elisa said with a stern look as Remus looked ready to step in.
"Well, it all started this yesterday morning when the Prophet arrived, they made up a story about you being some sort of monster." Harry spoke as Elisa heard her son's story. "They harassments on it had started not long after, everyone calling you a monster of steel. I tried my best to ignore it, but it just bubbled over and then Draco and his ilk caused it to bubble over." Harry said as he explained all the key details.
"And what did Draco Malfoy said that set you off?" Elisa asked as she was calming herself knowing anger will not get results.
"He called you a monster." Harry said and in turn Elisa sighed to this.
"I'm starting to suspect letting you attend here was a mistake." Elisa mumbled to herself before directing her attention to Lucius.
"And what did your boy say on the matter?" Elisa asked glaring at Lucius.
"The boy is lying, as he stated prior Potter attacked unprovoked!" Lucius defended as Elisa glared at the man before her.
"Truly now?" Elisa challenged as she glared at Lucius. "I suppose your willing to stake your magic and fortune on it?" Elisa asked causing Lucius to grit his teeth. "I'm sure the problem could easily be solved from what Remus told me there are magics to draw the memory forward and potions to compel one to be truthful." Elisa said as she looked to Lucius.
"Are you accusing my son of lying?" He asked as Elisa smirked.
"Not entirely children when they are in trouble will bend the story a bit to get out of said trouble." Elisa said as she looked to Lucius. "So, I will repeat myself are you willing to stake your beloved magic on it?" Elisa asked making Lucius back off a bit.
"You..." The Malfoy Patriarch growled only for Dumbledore to step in.
"Now let's not go into that unsavory subject." Dumbledore said as Elisa glared at the old wizard.
"Now Potter did confess to have attacked but it was not unprovoked and if his words are true then all we need do is acquire a copy of the prophet for evidence that the boy was under a great deal of stress." Dumbledore said he looked between the two parents. "But I cannot allow such actions to repeat themselves with either boy so I will agree on a deduction of House Points from both and serving Detention for the next week." Dumbledore said as he looked to the pair. "Will that be a welcoming compromise?" Dumbledore asked the pair as Elisa sighed to this.
"I'm willing to accept that." Elisa said as she spoke with a stern voice.
Lucius Malfoy leashed his rage and slowed his breathing with visible effort. "Very well." He said once he regained his anger before preparing to leave. "This isn't over." He said viciously, looking at the mother and son pair while he said it.
"Don't say I didn't warn you." Elisa said showing a bored look to Lucius as if he wasn't even register as a threat to her.
(Later Outside)
Elisa was waiting on Remus as he was her ride back home. Several Students were seen heading to their next class as they caught sight of Elisa swore Harry's mother was gorgeous. "Mum I'm." Harry began but Elisa cut him off.
"No Harry don't be sorry, be better." Elisa began as she looked to the boy who she raised as her own with the other Autobots. "I understand your anger but lashing out in anger won't solve a problem it will only create more problems." Elisa said as she looked to her son. "At that moment, the boy had instigated you into a fight, but the fight was in his favor even though you won he still managed to beat you by playing the victim role." Elisa said as she looked to Harry who then looked away in shame. "Come now little spark." She began moving Harry's head gently to look at her. "I'm upset yet but I'd rather you had picked your battle carefully preferably when it's in your favor." Elisa said with a small smile as she helped Harry through this.
"Alright." Harry said with a nod knowing his mother had eons of battle experience and how to approach them.
"Good, now then don't think your off the hook young man." Elisa began as she looked to her son. "Once Christmas Holidays come around, you're going to be grounded and undertaking several of Preceptors tutoring lessons." Elisa said causing Harry to gasp to this.
"But mum!" Harry gasped as while he loved Preceptor like an uncle, he also knew the Science chief of Team Elita was horribly boring when he gets on a tangent of a lesson topic.
Elisa smirked a bit and then ruffled her son's already wild untamable hair. "No but's mister." Elisa said as she made it clear that Harry was going to deal with it. "In fact, I'll be sending you one of Preceptors study guides to prepare you for his lessons, the subject he's become vested in recently is human biology." Elisa said to which Harry knew he was going to die of boredom when he got back home for Christmas.
"Now then wonder what Remus and Dumbledore are talking about?" Elisa asked as she knew the Autobots Double Agent was doing his part for the Autobot cause.
Unaware to either of them Alice hid behind a wall listening to the conversation as a small drone crawled over to her before she kneeled down and took it. Smiling on it the small bug looked up with its beady red eye awaiting whatever mission Alice had for it next.
(Back at the Headmasters Office)
"Professor, are you sure this is wise?" Remus asked as he held a copy of the Daily Prophet in his hand. HE had sent it out to the Autobots Magical Liaison and was doing damage control while scrubbing the info to see if he can pin it on Dumbledore.
"I am regretful that I was running on so few options." Dumbledore said as Remus paid attention to the headmaster while keeping his own mental shields up. "Young Harry is not safe with them with Voldemort still out there Harry will be needed." Dumbledore said as Remus had been trying to get Dumbledore to fess up on why Harry was needed.
"Sir, your pushing Elisa to consider taking Harry away to attend another magical school." Remus said as he looked to Dumbledore. "We need to be careful less we force her to do that." Remus said trying to coax some answers out of Dumbledore.
"Worry not I am putting in place several plans to ensure that does not happen." Dumbledore said to which Remus had to warn Dumbledore.
"Sir, what if the Muggle Government gets involved, they are growing warry of us." Remus added and Dumbledore understood as much.
"A regretful, mistake I assure you, but I will do what I can to pacify them." Dumbledore said which Remus found worrisome. He might need to alert the Autobots liaison that Dumbledore might compromise the Prime Minister somehow.
"I understand." Remus said as he nodded to Elisa.
"Now tell me Remus have you discovered any of their weaknesses?" Dumbledore asked as Remus turned his head.
"None that isn't inflicted upon by those like them." Remus said omitting the Autobots aversions to subzero temperatures.
"I see." Dumbledore said hoping to find some sort of weakness that can be exploited for the good of the magical world. Magic does not affect them so there had to be another avenue where a weakness can be exploited. "Thank you Remus I know this task is difficult for you, but you have been of a great service to our world for undertaking it." Dumbledore said to which Remus nodded to the old Headmaster
"It's my pleasure, Professor." Remus said and in turn nodded to him. "I must go they are expecting her back soon I will contact you if any information of value comes up." Remus said and thus Dumbledore nodded to this before the Werewolf took his leave and in turn leaving the old man to his machinations.
(Scene Break Autobot Base Axelon)
"I see so it was him." Alan said as he and Malina were both sitting in the base discussing what Remus had discovered.
"Yes, I didn't think he'd do something so underhanded but..." Remus said as Melina scoffed to this.
"If you ask me, he's playing with fire." Melina said as the Autobot Liaison for the mundane side of things was just itching to get her claws on the old coot.
"I'm not so sure." Elita said as she leaned against the wall deep in thought. "From the sound of things, Dumbledore seems convinced that Voldemort is still out there." Elita said as she had her optics closed wracking her mind over the situation.
"But it was reported the pale skinned bastard got offed by his own spell bouncing back at him." Alan said as he found it impossible to survive that.
"Megatron survived being crushed by Metroplex and that's pushing it even by Cybertronian Standards." Elita said as she looked to the group. "Voldemort is no Megatron but he is dangerous." Elita added and thus Alan had to agree on this.
"Well, I already did the clean-up and cover story as far as anyone knows the Prophet made a mistake and they will be sending out a redaction of their paper." Alan said as they needed to consider what to do next. "Thankfully, it was contained in the magical world but if that paper got out, we'd be having more problems than before." Alan said as Melina nodded in agreement with her magical counterpart.
"What are you thinking?" Melina asked as she looked to Alan who had a look of deep thought.
"We can't just approach him with circumstantial evidence, and we can't compromise Remus's position with Dumbledore." Alan said and then sighed to this. "We'll let him stew for a bit make him think he got away with it hopefully he'll start to get a bit cocky and make a mistake." Alan said as that was their best bet.
"And if he doesn't, what then?" Remus asked and thus Alan sighed to this.
"We'll cross that bridge when we get to it." Alan responded seeing that at the moment that was their best play to make.
"I hope you're right." Elita said as she knew they had to secure the Titan Key from the Dursley Household before the Decepticons learn of its existence.
(Meanwhile Decepticon Base Darksyde)
Nightbird and her crew were back in the Darksyde base. Having the Nemesis was helpful but having a ground base to accompany it helped as well. With the Autobots having teams on two sides of the planet this would make their operations against the Autobots efficient. At the moment Nightbird was getting a report from her agent inside the school.
"The first hurdle is a three headed beast known as a Cerberus, its lulled to sleep easily, the next task is a garden of vines designed to crush you the more you struggle, I simply did a bit of trimming, but sunlight and/or relaxing will make them back off." The Pretender reported as Nightbird heard her out. "One can also simply be Cybertronian, and they would outright ignore you." She added causing Nightbird to smirk to this. "The next task is a room of keys I managed to pick the lock and avoid triggering it but the room that followed was a massive chess board, Wizarding Chess I believe they call it." She added as Nightbird paid close mind to what her Pretender said. "The final two tasks are to combat a Troll and then drink a potion that last task requires the touch of a human meat bag." The Pretender reported and in turn Nightbird understood.
"Very good, be sure to integrate yourselves into pair of the Autobots human pets." Nightbird ordered and in turn severed communication with her.
"Megatron is losing patience you know." Slipstream was heard as she was seen leaning on the wall behind Nightbird who was taking her leave. "After the loss of Fortress Maximus, eventually he's going to want results and when that happens you can guarantee he will storm the castle." Slipstream urged as Nightbird glared for a moment.
"We will acquire the stone before they realized we were there; the humans are weak and pathetic we are strong and powerful." Nightbird said making her dislike of humans known. "If Lord Megatron demands it, then we will siege the castle without a moment of hesitation." Nightbird said making it clear that the Decepticons will claim the other Titans before the Autobots could hope to secure it. Slipstream sighed but followed her slightly unhinged commanding officer as they still had a war to win.
