Chapter Two – The Bloodball
The Bloodball was a dance, where humans were, how do I put it… attacked. Bitten. Injured. Killed. It was very pleasant for Vampires, and was held by the Vampress, the leader, Alania Viscoses. She was not only Sythia's mother, but also, probably, the best leader the Vampires had had in the last 25 years.
Everyone danced, and it was a pretty sight. Oh yeah, until Alania bit someone, and sucked the blood right out of their body. Then, with a slash of her fingernail, she promptly decapitated the poor man. That was NOT a pretty sight. Did I mention that Vampires can fly? No. Well, they can, and that, my dear reader, is how they get bitten.
This kept happening over and over again, and every human ended up dead, blood sucked, head rolling on the floor.
Finally, it was over, and the blood-soaked guests left, got into their cars, and drove home.
