Drift's P.O.V.
The past eight days have been the same, which is both good and bad. It's hard getting Jamie to eat, and even Crosshairs was hoping we'd get Jamie to eat a little better. He never brought up the G-tube, but I know he's thinking if we should put one in. Jamie doesn't appear to be losing weight. She's already on the low end of the healthy weight range for her height. Crosshairs has been worried about me while not talking about how he's feeling. I was lucky to get him to a few weeks ago, but now he's making sure he doesn't fall apart again. I worry we'll start an argument if I ask him, but he can't hide how he's feeling forever, and if Jamie sees him hurting. Not good, he's been going somewhere to hide and cry.
I didn't know Crosshairs is next to me until he hugs me and sighs. I can tell he's frustrated.
Neither of us says anything. The silence is uncomfortable.
My phone dinging breaks the silence.
Sunstreaker: Lily wants to go to the beach one last time before school starts.
Drift: Maybe...
Sunstreaker: I know, who knows how Jamie will be in three days, or even tonight. I think it's good to have a routine though we only watched T.V. in the lounge room last week. This is likely a good step to help her.
"He's right, Drift," Crosshairs comments, "this is a good step to help Jamie."
Drift: maybe...
Crosshairs' P.O.V.
I can't imagine how he feels if I'm afraid we'll lose Jamie. I hate how complicated things are. We can't say we're used to it, because Jamie has never been like this. Even after Buddy's death. I will never tell him how much this hurts watching Jamie hurt. I'm able to leave without Drift worrying.
"Crosshairs?" I hear Optimus. Scrap, not a bot I want to talk to right now, but I can't tell my leader to go away, "are you all right?"
I sigh, "no."
Will everyone stop asking? They know how Jamie's mental health is and how hard it is to watch her struggle.
Optimus says nothing. I continue down the hall, hearing Optimus' steps behind me.
He doesn't follow me into the kitchen, but the terror twins and Lily are in the kitchen.
"You need to talk to someone," Sideswipe insists, "before we have another Sunstreaker in the base."
"Hey! Aside from me being used as the example, Sideswipe is right. I know you're angry at how hurt Jamie is and how Drift and Jamie can't be together like they should be. Though I think Rung would be better, talk to us."
This is strange coming from Sunstreaker.
"I know it's the same conversation, but you be will feel better afterward even if only for a while," Lily adds.
I hate how much she understands. Even if that does help Jamie trust Lily.
The three stay in the cafeteria while I go up to the room. Optimus isn't around. I doubt this was his plan, either. It's not unusual for him to have a meeting at ten in the morning.
"I made your favorite," I show Jamie the plates, hoping she'll eat, but not feel forced.
Thankfully, Jamie is choosing to eat. Though I'm not sure if pancakes and bacon every day is good. Even if this is good, the next worry would be how long before she gets bored with the same breakfast. How long before she's doing better? Even a little is a lot better than this.
The only good thing is Jamie has been enjoying the new computer game she got, but she lost interest in doing gaming videos. Something she loved doing.
A couple of hours pass before Jamie lays in bed. Though it's not the first time Drift and I have watched Jamie nap during the day. It's been a few years since this was her routine. Even going to sleep at what would be considered a decent time like she has been for the past month hasn't happened in years.
Drift sits on the edge of the bed and sighs.

I look up at Crosshairs, seeing the color drain from his face. I get him out the door and onto the floor.
"What the?!" Knockout worries as he rushes towards us, but grabs the trash bin from our room first. Giving it to Crosshairs in time.
"He's panicking about Jamie after hiding how he's been feeling for weeks," I whisper.
"At least my room is right there," Knockout says, pointing to the room on the left of ours. Though it's the right side if we're standing in our room.
"Come on, you should lie down in my room for a while," Knockout tells Crosshairs as we help him up and to Knockout's room.
"I don't mind if he falls asleep," Knockout tells me as we leave his room, "better for him until he doesn't feel dizzy. This isn't good for both of you to be stressed and get like that."
Knockout doesn't know everything, but he's seen how the others are not liking what's going on and how they need to stay away for now. Not sure if he knows the terror twins and Lily are the only ones who've been able to be with Jamie? Still, I don't think she'll be ok with them without Crosshairs and I. He sighs and walks down the hall.
Knockout's P.O.V.
Even while knowing about Jamie's mental struggle, I can't believe how she's doing right now. I think I've been kept out of the loop since I was assigned to stay on Cybertron. Seeing everyone who knows Jamie is worried, I can't be mad that I wasn't told anything. Question is can I go back to my duties on Cybertron? I now worry about the three of them, not just her. I doubt I'm here to help the three of them. Hopefully this is meant to be a long vacation though I'm not relaxing.
"Knockout?" Optimus asks as I walk into his office after being allowed to enter. I don't think he was expecting me. I sit on the chair in front of the desk, uncertain what to say, "what troubles you, Knockout?"
"Is it possible to be transferred to here? I know there's three medics, but I —."
"I understand Knockout. You know how Ultra Magnus is. I'll see what I can do."
He doesn't sound like he's fine explaining the situation to Magnus.
"Sir, you don't have to. I can likely stay in contact with Crosshairs and Drift."
I know he's not going to let that be the solution, but he lets me leave his office.
I sit at my desk in my room for ninety minutes waiting for Crosshairs to wake up. I don't know if he'll be livid, but I need to make sure he's ok.
He sits on the edge of the bed and looks at me.
"Did you stay here and stare at me?" He asks.
"No, I kept busy. You ok?"
I knew all he'd say is no, and thank me for letting him stay in my room before leaving.
I hope both of Jamie's guardians and she'll be ok. Hopefully, I can stay here.
