Chapter 4: Camera Man

"So, you want me to kill them, right?" A man with silver hair and black glasses asked as he looked down at the Stand Trio.

"That's right. We've gotten a good look at their Stands save Richard Speedwagon's Stand." Another Voice answered via scroll.

"It doesn't matter though with your Stand. They shouldn't make it far." The Voice added.

"Of course, with my Stand Camera Man, they'll be dead before they ever reach the arrow in Vale." The Man agreed as he hung up the call and took a picture of the Trio with a camera.

"Here's your target now get to work." The Man ordered holding out his camera with the picture as a misty figure appeared behind him.

"Easy…I'll be back soon." The Figure notified as it disappeared. As the Stand Trio roamed the streets of Vale, they failed to notice the same figure now following them.

Joshua spun around to look behind him after getting the distinct feeling of being watched. Other than startling a few people behind him, he saw nothing. Turning back around, Joshua caught up with his colleagues, but even then, the feeling didn't go away.

"What is this? Could a Stand User be watching us?" Joshua wondered as he looked around.

Once again, he saw nothing around that would indicate a Stand being used or a Stand User being near. Though when Joshua began to turn around, he saw the faint sign of mist behind him. He turned around once more to make sure he wasn't crazy, but it was gone.

"Are you okay, JoJo you've been stopping a lot?" Max asked.

"I'm fine. I just thought we were being watched." Joshua answered as they continued on.

"Alright, the last place the Stand User was seen was in the market area of Vale we should start asking people there." Richard pointed out.

"Sounds like a plan let's go around there and ask the people but remain relatively close to one another in case a Stand User appears," Max suggested.

"Good idea, the last thing we need is to be ambushed." Joshua agreed.

Eventually, the three arrived in the market area of Vale and began to go around and ask people about the Stand User. As one would expect, not many had an answer, and those who did say he hasn't shown up in the area in a long time.

Soon they went from asking the people on the street to the store owners and the people living in the houses adjacent to the area. Joshua walked up to a home and knocked on the door. As he did, he once again had a feeling that he was being watched.

"Hello, how may I help you?" A Woman asked as she answered the door.

"Yes, sorry to intrude, but I'm looking for this man." Joshua began showing the woman the picture of the Stand User.

"He's very dangerous and plans on hurting people, so any knowledge you may have on him would be appreciated." Joshua finished as the woman inspected the picture.

"I think I might have seen him around a few days ago, but I don't know where he went." The Woman informed.

"I see, thank you for your time." Joshua thanked as he put away the picture.

When the woman closed her door, Joshua noticed a figure behind him in the window's reflection. Joshua spun around, summoning his Crimson Destiny, but when he turned to face the figure, it was gone. It almost was like it was never there at all as Joshua looked around carefully for the figure.

Joining back with his colleagues, they had found nothing except guaranteeing that the Stand User WAS there. In the end, they decided to move away from the market area and go to the neighboring areas and look some more.

"So far, this Stand User seems to be good at hiding though that's not surprising as he is trying to stay hidden." Richard pointed out.

"That's true since he has yet to make a move, it's safe to assume that he wants to stay hidden for as long as possible." Max agreed.

"We know that his target is the Vytal Festival in a few months, so in a while, we should focus our search in that area as well," Joshua suggested.

Just then, he felt the same feeling he's been feeling ever since they started their search. Joshua stopped in his tracks, looking around everywhere to find the source of the feeling. Every other time he found nothing, but now he knew it couldn't be a coincidence.

"JoJo, are you sure you are okay you've kept stopping like this for a while now?" Richard asked.

"I think we are being followed by a Stand User or at the very least a Stand," Joshua informed.

"Ever since we started looking for the Stand User in the picture, I've felt like we were being watched, and it still feels like that even now. This cannot be a coincidence." Joshua added.

"Really, are you sure I haven't felt like I'm being watched?" Richard questioned.

"No, I think he's right. I've felt it often as well. You probably haven't picked it up since you are new to Stand Power," Max responded.

"Though now that I think about it, I didn't realize it much as we went on, so maybe whatever it is, it's focusing on JoJo," Max suggested as he saw a figure appear slowly behind Joshua.

"It's there!" Max shouted, summoning his Pins and Needles to throw a knife at the figure. However, as soon as he spotted the figure, it dissipated when everyone went to look at it.

"Where is it?" Richard asked.

"Damn, it must have left somewhere!" Joshua cursed, looking for where it could have gone if it were truly behind him.

"It was there, right? From what I saw, the Stand looked more like a ghost." Max wondered.

"I'm not there anymore, Zeppeli." A Voice notified from behind Max.

Max spun around to find the source, but nothing was behind him save the ordinary residents of Vale. Had he imagined the voice? No, he was sure that he had truly heard it. Turning back to Joshua and Richard, Max tried to wrap his head around what happened.

"Are you sure you saw something, Max?" Richard asked as he and Joshua turned around. However, when they did, both were wide-eyed in shock at what they saw.

"Max, you're hurt!" Joshua pointed out the bleeding wound in Max's stomach.

Quickly Max blocked the injury attempting to stop the bleeding. Once he did, the trio ducked into an alley so they could treat Max without putting others in danger. But while this happened, Max could only think of two things.

"How the hell did I get injured, and why didn't I feel the injury?" Max wondered.

"Why didn't you say anything about being attacked?" Joshua asked as he patched up the wound leaving aura to do the rest.

"I didn't know, to be honest, I didn't even feel the attack." Max began.

"However, after I saw a mist like figure behind you, I heard a voice claiming not to be there anymore, so I think it's safe to say that this is the work of a Stand," Max explained.

"But why can't we see it, or at least why only briefly?" Richard questioned.

"Who knows, but we need to find the user. Though that is easier said than done, seeing as we've been moving so much. Who knows where the user is." Max replied.

"That means this Stand is probably a long-range type." Joshua theorized.

"So, the user could be anywhere in Vale for all we know!" Richard gasped.

As he said that Richard spotted a mist like figure just like Max had said appearing behind Max. The new Stand User called upon his House of Cards and attacked the figure, but it disappeared. Upon seeing this, he stopped his attack just before it hit, causing Max and Joshua to jump slightly.

"What the hell was that, Richard?" Max questioned.

"I saw it! I saw the Stand it was right behind you!" Richard shouted as he looked around for the Stand.

"Where did it go, did it disappear?" Max asked.

"Yes, just before my attack would have landed, it disappeared," Richard answered.

"It did the same for me right before it spoke to me," Max revealed.

"If that's the case, then…" Joshua began before he looked at Richard and saw the Stand behind him.

"Look out!" Joshua yelled as he used his Crimson Destiny to throw a garbage can lid at the Stand.

But as expected, it disappeared before it could be hit by the lid though it did leave Richard unharmed. When that happened, Joshua began to piece together a theory on how the Stand worked. That and how the Stand was able to attack people.

"Richard, for now, I think you are safe. It's no longer targeting you, but I need you to not take your eyes off of me." Joshua requested.

"Are you sure, JoJo?" Richard asked.

"Yeah, I think I know how this Stand works, at least for the most part," Joshua answered.

"What do you mean?" Max questioned.

"This Stand won't allow us to see it. In fact, it constantly hides beyond our line of sight or at least whichever one it's targeting at that moment." Joshua began.

"When it can get a clean shot, it will attack especially now that we are alone with no one to notice us getting injured." Joshua continued.

"However, if one of us it's not targeting sees the Stand, then it will switch over to that person as a target hiding behind that person. This means I'm the target now." Joshua finished.

"So that's why we can't attack it for every time we see it the Stand will just disappear." Max murmured.

"But if that's true, then why didn't it attack you if you were the first being targeted?" Max asked.

"It probably is being wary of my premonition, for it knows I could see the attack coming before it happens." Joshua hypothesized.

"That's all and good, but how do we defeat such a Stand if we can't attack it?" Richard questioned.

"That's not exactly true. We can attack it." Joshua smiled.

"You got a plan?" Max inquired.

"Of sorts, though, there's no guarantee it will work," Joshua answered.

"You see, I need you both to keep an eye on me as we continue to move, and the second it shows itself to attack you two ambush it," Joshua explained.

"With two people watching it, the Stand theoretically shouldn't be able to disappear by moving to one of you," Joshua added.

"I see that does make sense, but how do you know that it won't be able to transfer?" Richard asked.

"I don't. We just have to try it, and if it doesn't work, then we'll be back to square one." Joshua responded as he stood up, helping Max get to his feet.

"Let's go if we stay here. It won't come back out for a while," Joshua said as he left the alley.

Max and Richard followed soon after keeping a short distance from Joshua to bait the Stand out in the open. Though they kept their distance, they did not let Joshua out of their sight for an instant having their Stands ready to attack.

Richard had his card whip at the ready, and Max had several knives prepared to throw. After walking past several blocks, the Stand did not appear at all. It seemed as if it was smarter than it looked, not coming out for the ambush.

"It's not coming out what do we do now?" Richard asked.

"We need to broaden the distance between Joshua and us as it is now, I get the feeling that the Stand is expecting us," Max responded.

"Next time we hit an intersection, we make a turn then rush to intercept JoJo hopefully during that interval the Stand will reveal itself." Max planned.

"But what if it attacks before we can intercept JoJo it could kill him." Richard pointed out.

"We're going to have to risk it," Max replied.

When they reached the next intersection, they ran full speed to the right before cutting through an alley. The two Stand Users ran through the alley and once through headed to the intersection to intercept Joshua.

As they rounded the corner, they saw Joshua on the ground, having barely dodged the Stand's attack. Now that both Max and Richard had the Stand in their sight, they went in for the attack. Max threw several knives, and Richard whipped his cards, hitting the Stand on the mark.

Once the attacks hit, the Stand broke apart now defeated. The body burned away as Max and Richard helped up Joshua from the ground.

"Looks like your plan worked though it took a small change to work," Max said.

"Yeah, but it's not over the User is still out there so he can just send another Stand assuming that this Stand is automatic," Joshua replied.

"It's good to see that you're taking my Stand lessons to heart." Max smiled.

"So, this means we have to find this new Stand User first before we find our intended target." Richard pointed out.

"Yeah, that's going to be hard since we don't even know what they look like nor how their Stand is activated," Max said as they began walking away and avoiding people.

"Maybe we should backtrack since we clearly had to be in the same area at some point in time," Richard suggested.

"No, that won't work for one I felt that Stand was following us almost as soon as we entered Vale so the User would be far away." Joshua began.

"That being said, the User may have moved since then as well, so backtracking won't work." Joshua finished.

"If anything, there is a chance that the User will come to us as well," Joshua added.

Elsewhere in Vale…

"Hey, Gray, you okay, man?" A Man asked his regular customer who just dropped his order of food.

"I'm fine, sorry for the mess." Gray apologized as he left the store, looking at his camera.

"The screen is cracked that could only mean that they defeated my Stand. No matter I'll just find them again and activate it once more! They got lucky this time, but they won't be able to handle multiple at once!" Gray thought as he ran to find his targets.

Minutes Later…

The Trio of Stand Users continued to walk through Vale, not stopping for anyone. They had treated Joshua's wound so that they are not questioned about it. The last thing they needed was the unwanted attention of random civilians.

At the moment, they were planning their next move on how to defeat the Stand User that was currently after them. So far, their best plan was to wait for the User to come to them and take them out then.

"So how will we know when the Stand User has found us?" Richard asked.

"We need to just keep our eyes open and look for anyone that seems suspicious enough to be the Stand User," Joshua responded.

"Easier said than done since we still have no idea how the User activates their Stand, so that makes this who plan of yours ten times harder," Max commented.

"Even so now that we're expecting a Stand attack, I will be able to use my premonition to see the User theoretically," Joshua replied.

"Having to rely on theories doesn't really give confidence." Richard pointed out.

"It's the best we can do given the current situation," Max commented.

As they continued moving, a man with silver hair and dark shades peeked around a corner behind the Trio. This man was Gray the very Stand User they were trying to take care of before they continue their mission.

He had been following them for a few minutes now. He rushed over to where his Stand had been destroyed due to the photo that appeared on his camera. It annoyed him to no end that they were able to find Camera Man's weakness so fast, but it now made sense why the higher-ups want them dead so badly.

"So you want to catch me with your premonition, do you Joestar? Don't count on it. I'll just bide my time to unleash Camera Man on you once more!" Gray thought as he slowly followed them.

"Or I could just use another person as bait," Gray whispered as he aimed his camera.

"I've been thinking about our main target," Richard spoke, getting the attention of his fellow Stand Users.

"What is it?" Joshua asked.

"Well, our leading theory is that he's waiting for the Vytal Festival to use the arrow on students, right? But most of the students that are participating are already at Beacon." Richard began.

"So it wouldn't be out of the question for the User to frequent the school to scout the most prospective students." Richard finished.

"That makes sense once we're done with the current threat we should head to the school if we can. I don't know the rules on visitors, so we may not be welcome, but who knows." Joshua replied.

Suddenly his eyes widened when he saw a person in front of him with the Stand that attacked them earlier right behind them. The Stand raised its hand ready to attack the person, but Max was ready by throwing a knife through its head.

"The User must be here somewhere!" Max shouted, looking around.

At the same moment, Joshua got a premonition of him looking behind to see a camera flashing indicating that a picture of them was being taken. Joshua spun around only to see the flash of a camera blinding him for a second.

!

When he was able to see again, the person behind the camera was already running, having rounded a corner. Joshua ran after him, calling for the others as he began to chase the possible User.

"Come on, the User's running away!" Joshua yelled as he ran with the others following close behind.

"Are you sure it's the User?" Max asked.

"For the most part, whoever they are, they took a picture of us, and it triggered my premonition, so be on the lookout for the Stand," Joshua responded.

As if on command, the Stand appeared behind Max, but before it could attack, it switched to Richard, who saw the Stand. Thinking quick, Richard broke a piece of glass from a nearby window to use for himself to see the Stand behind him.

"The Stand is targeting me now. I'll keep an eye on it with this piece of glass, so don't stop!" Richard shouted.

Even though there was a risk, they pushed on knowing that if they caught the User, they would be able to stop the Stand itself. But due to the User's head start, they were losing ground, especially with the small glance Joshua even got of them.

"Max, can you slow them down with a knife?" Joshua inquired.

"I can, but with all these people around, it's going to make it hard to hit the right person," Max responded as he tried to pinpoint the User from the crowd.

"The User has silver hair and is holding a camera, they also have sunglasses on, but you won't see it from this angle," Joshua informed.

"Good to know, let's try and do this fast!" Max replied as they ran faster. Their suspect then ran a corner, and when they followed, they hit another snag when they saw a large crowd formed on the other side.

"Shit." Joshua cursed as Richard joined him and Max.

"He could be anywhere in the crowd!" Richard pointed out.

"The little we know about what this User looks like just makes this almost impossible," Max said.

"We need to split up through and spread out through the crowd to find the User. It's dangerous, but we can't let them out of our sight." Joshua pointed out.

"Splitting up is going to make things worse, but…the faster we get rid of the User, the faster we can get back on task, so let's try to stay close to one another." Richard agreed.

Soon the three Stand Users began to run through the crowd pushing through people but making sure not to hurt anyone as they did. As they pushed through, Gray picked up the pace keeping his camera in his hands, ready to take a shot.

Max pushed through the crowd keeping his Stand at the ready as he searched for the User. That was when he spotted him a man matching the vague description given to him by Joshua. Rushing over, he grabbed the man's shoulder and spun him around.

"You're not getting me that easily, Zeppeli!" Gray hissed as he blinded Max with his camera flash.

Covering his eyes, Max quickly tossed a knife blindly managing to hit Gray in his left shoulder. Brushing off the pain, the enemy Stand User continued to run away as Max recovered from the sudden flash.

"He's getting away, but I hit him with my Stand!" Max shouted to his compatriots and pointing with his Stand towards where Gray had run.

Joshua and Richard began to run in that direction as Max recovered, but before he could follow, he saw in a nearby window the Stand behind him. Quickly he spun around, preventing the Stand from attacking by causing it to disappear.

"What the hell! I thought the Stand was targeting Richard. Why is it here?!" Max questioned as he ran to join up with the others.

On the way, he stole a woman's hand mirror as she was checking herself out much to her displeasure. Using the same tactic as Richard, he kept an eye behind himself to prevent the Stand from attack or so he hoped.

"But how did the Stand transfer to me? I didn't look at it, did I? No, I didn't that I am sure of." Max thought as he continued to run.

"That is unless it was the camera that caused it to target me! Of course, it started since then when he took a picture of us and now me!" Max realized.

"That could mean that right now, there are two Stands. One is targeting Richard, and this one is targeting me. Damn, this isn't good." Max thought.

With Joshua and Richard, they continued to pursue the Stand User as they finally got out of the crowd and into the open streets. Richard was lagging behind his fellow Stand User having to make sure that the Stand wouldn't attack him.

Looking around, Joshua spotted the User running away into a building. He quickly followed after the man running up the stairs, not letting him out of his sight. Soon, Joshua, had him cornered in a lone empty room with only a single window.

"I've got you, pal, you got nowhere to run," Joshua stated as he locked the door behind him.

"Are you sure about that?" Gray smirked as he pulled out the knife from Pins and Needles and patched up the wound.

Outside…

Outside Richard decided to take a different route opting to go up the fire escape on the side of the building. However, before he could use his Stand to bring down the ladder, the Stand took its chance to attack.

It shattered the piece of glass he had used to check behind him, leaving him blind to the Stand. Richard moved quickly, knowing that the Stand would attack just barely dodging it. His aura could not protect him as his back was slashed though thankfully, not deep.

Richard got up and looked around to see if there was anything else he could use as a mirror. Upon seeing this, he summoned his House of Cards, Richard prepared himself to fight against the Stand. He listened to the sounds around him, waiting for the Stand to make its attack.

But Richard was not prepared when he felt intense pain from his right thigh. Looking down, he saw that his leg had been hit and was bleeding. No sound was made, and he had only felt it after the attack had already happened.

"Damn, that makes it near impossible to defend against this Stand alone!" Richard cursed, as several more parts of his body were attacked by the Stand from behind.

Inside…

"What?" Joshua questioned.

"Do you really think I have nowhere to run Joestar? I might just surprise you." Gray responded as he took three pictures of Joshua.

In response, Joshua charged at Gray summoning his Stand and punching the Stand User right in the face with a loud "TRO!". The attack sent Gray crashing through the window though the enemy Stand User managed to stop himself from falling down, setting himself in the window.

"One more punch, and you won't be interfering with my compatriots or me anymore!" Joshua declared.

"So, what was that about surprising me?" Joshua asked.

"Hahahahaha." Gray laughed as he sat in the windowsill, confusing Joshua.

"Just give it a minute." Gray smiled.

Suddenly Joshua was attacked from behind by three of Gray's Stand, getting him in the stomach, left arm, and his right ankle. The sudden attack caused Joshua to fall to his knees due to the pain and shock.

"What the hell! Damn, the Stand must be triggered by the camera I should have realized sooner!" Joshua cursed.

"What's wrong, Joestar, does it hurt?" Gray snickered.

"Not as bad as I'm about to hurt you, pal." Joshua hissed.

"Now that I know that you're Stand is targeting me, my premonition will be able to detect the next attack," Joshua added as he got up.

"Really? Well, let's see how you do that with three of my Stand targeting you." Gray gibed.

"I'll just show you." Joshua declared.

"Fine, be my guest, but it would be rude not to introduce myself to you. My name is Gray, and this is my Stand Camera Man!" Gray introduced himself.

Outside…

Richard panted heavily as he sat alone in the alleyway. His body was bruised and bloodied from the constant attacks from the Stand. He was completely at the Stand's mercy, attempting to fight it alone.

Without a reflective surface, he had no way to actually locate the Stand, and without two other Stand User's there, it was impossible to attack it. Even though he tried to attack the Stand without being able to see it, he was just attacking blindly behind himself.

He tried to separate his Stand into separate cards, but he was unable to do so. It seemed that he was not yet proficient enough in using his Stand to do so. When attacking didn't work, Richard tried to defend against the Stand by using his House of Cards as a shield.

This didn't work either as the Stand managed to move around his own. It could hit him from anywhere and everywhere it could. Richard couldn't even leave the alleyway because whenever he got close to the entrance, the rate of the attacks picked up.

"What should I do damn I'm too new to this Stand stuff." Richard cursed.

"I see the worry in you, Richard Speedwagon, but there is no need to worry. You shall die here." The Stand declared shocking Richard, who spun around to face the Stand.

Of course, it disappeared to avoid his gaze, but he kept looking around, thinking that it would stop the attack in some way. But the real end came when someone rounded the corner of the alley entrance. When Richard looked over, he saw Max looking back at him.

"MAX!" Richard gasped as he noticed his companion.

"Looks like you're not doing that well," Max replied as he walked over towards Richard.

"Wait, stay back. I'm still being targeted by the Stand!" Richard warned.

"Yeah, I know, so am I it seems that the enemy's Stand is unique. They take a picture of someone, and their Stand attacks them relentlessly, and they can use it on more than one person at once." Max revealed.

"I see, but if that's the case, how are we going to beat the Stand without a third person?" Richard questioned.

"I've been thinking about that while I slowly made my way here, and I have a plan, but you're going to have to trust me," Max responded.

"Of course," Richard replied.

"Though I don't have much of a choice." Richard thought.

"What do you have?" Richard asked.

"If I am correct if the Stand were to appear behind you and I see it, then it will begin to target me, meaning that I will have two of the Stand targeting me." Max began.

"Now listen carefully to what I'm about to say because I'm only going to say this once in a low whisper." Max requested as he got close to Richard and whispered in his ear.

"Are you sure that's going to work?" Richard questioned.

"At the moment, if we want to get rid of these Stands and help JoJo, then it's our only chance. Seeing as he has yet to defeat the User, he's going to need our help." Max responded.

"Alright, then let's do this." Richard agreed as the two Stand Users closed their eyes.

Inside…

Joshua jumped all over to avoid Gray's Camera Man though he was barely able to do so, and every now again, he would be hit. He had to think of a plan and quick seeing as he was unable to attack the Stand he had to get to the User.

But it seemed as if the Stand wouldn't allow that attacking him more frequently. It appeared that Gray knew about this room beforehand a backup plan in case he was being tailed by an enemy. For there was nothing in this room that Joshua could use as a weapon.

"So he knew that this was a possibility, especially with my premonition. I'm trapped in this small space with him!" Joshua thought as he attacked behind himself, attempting to hit one of the Camera Men.

His attack did not make impact with the Stand, but Joshua knew it wouldn't work. He had thrown that punch to prevent the Stand from attacking him instead. Even though he was able to do that, he was unable to think of a plan to get to Gray himself.

"Think! There has to be a way to beat him!" Joshua thought as he ducked under an attack.

Joshua then thought about the camera. It seemed that it was the trigger that activated Gray's stand. Could it also work in his favor? If it triggers the Stand, then it can also stop it if he were to break it.

"Now, the only problem with that is how to get to the damn camera." Joshua thought.

Just as he thought that a knife shot up through the ground and embedded itself into the ceiling. Attached to the blade was a line of thin playing cards which began to grow and take the shape of Richard's House of Cards though much smaller than normal.

"WAIT, WHAT!?" Gray questioned as the Stand attacked him damaging his aura and sending him through the window. Below were Max and Richard, who waited for the User to fall down.

"Good thing your plan worked now we can end this fight." Richard smiled as he watched Gray fall.

One Minute Earlier…

The two Stand Users closed their eyes, and the second they did both of the Camera Men that were targeting them appeared behind them. Once they appeared, both User quickly opened their eyes and attacked the Stand's behind the other's body.

As expected, the Stands disappeared now targeting the other user, but when they reappeared behind said user, the other's attack made impact with it. Simultaneously both Stands were destroyed freeing both Stand Users of the enemy Stand!

"Guess you were right. The split second they appeared, they would be hit by our attacks." Richard smiled.

"Alright, now let's help JoJo," Max replied.

"Okay, hopefully, we can make it up there in time." Richard agreed as he went to go up the fire escape before Max stopped him.

"I've got a better idea let's bring the User to us." Max planned.

"How would we do that?" Richard questioned.

Max pointed up to a window above them adjacent to the fire escape. In said broken window was the back of the Stand User of which Max recognized. Summoning his Pins and Needles, he held out a knife to Richard.

"Can you wrap a strand of cards onto this knife?" Max asked.

"I believe so yes," Richard responded as he summoned his House of Cards.

"Good, do that, and I'll send it with my knife into the room where the User and JoJo are then you send your Stand up and push the User out the window," Max explained.

"Okay, though, I don't know how strong my Stand will be that far from me," Richard replied as he wrapped some cards on the knife held out to him.

"I'm sure it will be good enough," Max stated as he threw the knife.

Present Time…

As Gray fell from the window towards the ground, Max and Richard eagerly anticipated him. Joshua looked out the window and watched as Gray fell but didn't watch for long as he still had to dodge the Camera Men after him.

"Max! Richard! Destroy the camera!" Joshua instructed, yelling out the window.

"The camera huh well I won't argue with that!" Max smiled.

"Yeah, let's end this!" Richard agreed as his cards returned to him, reforming his House of Cards at full strength. Max then threw several knives piercing the camera and shattering it completely.

"NO!" Gray cried as he hit the ground, his aura shattering.

Once the camera was destroyed, Gray's Stand disappeared just as Joshua had thought. As Gray picked himself up, he was interrupted when Richard and Max loomed over the Stand User. Gray shook in fear as they stared daggers at him.

"Where do you think you're going?" Max questioned.

"Yeah, we're not done with you yet!" Richard shouted as the two summoned their Stands.

They began to relentlessly batter Gray with several attacks from their Stands. Max used his knives, and Richards used his sharp card fists to cut up and punch Gray mercilessly. Once they were done, they sent him flying into fire escape embedding him there.

Name: Gray.

Stand: Camera Man.

Type: Automatic Stand.

Brand: B.

Ability: To track down and eliminate anyone whose picture is taken by the User's camera just out of the target's vision. If it is seen by another person whose picture was taken, it will target the person who saw it! It is silent and deadly.

Status: Out of Commission!

"That takes care of that pain in the ass." Max grinned as Joshua hopped down the fire escape to join his companions.

"Good job I wasn't able to get an opening on him, so your attack back there won us the fight." Joshua smiled.

"Now that he's out of the way, we can continue our search," Richard replied as he flinched in pain.

"No, the search is over for the day we're in no shape for another fight if we manage to find the User we're looking for, so let's find a hotel we can stay in for the night." Joshua pointed out.

"Good idea, I think we can all benefit from a good night's sleep." Max agreed as he helped Richard move by slinging one of Richard's arms over his shoulder.

Unknown Location…

"Gray has been defeated, sir, what should we do now?" Anthony questioned as he looked through his third eye.

"I see that is disappointing." The Dark Figure replied.

"Should I notify all A brand User's in Vale to take care of them?" The Man in the Lab Coat asked.

"No, Syed, I wish to test them a little more to push them to their limit." The Dark Figure answered.

"But why Sir? They are our enemy. If they get stronger, it would be problematic!" Syed questioned.

"True, but I believe I haven't seen the true potential of their Stands, I want to know if their power can serve our purpose." The Dark Figure responded.

"I see I shall contact another B brand then," Syed replied.

"Good now I need you to go to our Vacuo branch my brother-in-law needs you there." The Dark Figure stated.

"I see well as Head Doctor I am needed everywhere," Syed replied as he left. As he left, he passed a boy with blonde hair and orange eyes who had a Star-shaped brand beneath his neck who entered the dark room after he left.

"What do you need, nephew?" The Dark Figure questioned as the boy stood in front of him.

"I told you not to call me by that, Uncle." The Boy replied.

"Whatever Davion, what do you need?" The Dark Figure asked.

"I heard you have a problem in Vale, and I wanted to know if you wanted any help with that," Davion answered.

"That is unneeded just be patient if you are needed, I will let you know." The Dark Figure replied.

"Fine, you better get me something to do, though, because I'm getting super bored," Davion complained.

"Also, I thought I asked you when he's not around to not call me by my real name, either." Davion pointed out.

"Whatever, just don't get yourself in trouble…" The Dark Figure began as Davion turned to leave.

"Dio."

Vale…

Joshua looked out the window at Vale skyline shining bright at the darkness of the night. He specifically looked at Beacon academy as it towered over the rest of Vale. The academy seemed to be the center of the institution's activity in Vale.

"It's only just starting the only question is how many Stand Users are here." Joshua thought as he picked up his scroll.

On it was a search for local orphanages in the area. Joshua planned to visit in the next couple of days in between their search for their target. After he took a quick look at the bracelet on his arm, the image of a woman with purple hair came to his mind.

"I'll find you, I promise." Joshua thought as he went to sleep.

Next Time…Nighttime Drive Nightmare

Author's Note:

Hey, guy's hope you enjoyed the chapter. I'm pretty proud of this one seeing as the Stand battle it's named after takes up most of the chapter and is a bit more interesting than the other ones that I have written so far.

Now on to some things first off about the difference between Joshua's experience fighting the Stand here and the others, the reason he is able to prevent attacks with his Stand is due to his premonition, so he is able to know where they will attack him from.

As for why the Stand did not attack because of the mirror trick just to make sure no one is confused about that it is because it is unable to be seen by the target which is why it tends to hide behind them so when they looked through a mirror, it could not attack and would soon disappear if seen.

Now I know that a good amount of people are probably going to be curious about the last part of the chapter, but all will be revealed in the future. But to quickly answer one question, Davion is a Brando his real name Davion Brando, so I'm just going to put that out there.

Other than that, the rest will be left for another time see you all then!
