Chapter 4: The First Day

Name: Luna

Quirk: Bast – She can assume the abilities of any cat, from regular housecats and lions to hybrids such as ligers and tigons. Her quirk is named after Bast, the Egyptian goddess of cats.

Appearance: Though usually taking on appearances of the cats' abilities, her usual look has been compared as eerily similar to a character of the anime RWBY known as Blake, however she has a tail, and they are complete opposites in terms of personality and choice of dress. She's 14.

The beginning of Luna's first day at U. A. High seemed normal enough. Luna woke up, stripped off her pajamas, and put the uniform of the school: a white shirt with red tie, grey coat, a dark green skirt, some black stockings, and regular shoes. Though Luna would have much rather been in her favorite clothes, she didn't think the uniform was too bad. As an extra touch, she put on her necklace with a silver cat's paw. The necklace was the only thing Luna still had of her mother. Everything else her father either confiscated, threw out, or destroyed. She managed to convince her father that she bought it, not her mother, which was the reason it still existed as a necklace and not molten metal. She washed herself, carefully combing out the knots in her hair and applying a faint purple eyeshadow. This was the only makeup that Luna wore, and she refused to use any other. Her lashes were naturally long, so she didn't have to worry about that. She studied herself in the mirror for a moment; she seemed vastly different than 4 years ago. In the place of a terrified child stood a serious and cold young woman.

Luna left the bathroom and packed her backpack for the day. She had inserted several new notebooks for her classes, her pencil pouch was full of pens, pencils, led, and highlighters. A laptop with a protective black cover also lay in there. A dark purple water bottle sat in one side pocket, leaving the other one empty. All that remained was to prepare her own lunch and clip it onto her backpack, and she was ready. She headed downstairs cautiously. Her father would undoubtedly still be seething from yesterday, but Luna breathed a sigh of relief when she saw he wasn't downstairs yet. She quickly prepared a bowl of cereal with a glass of orange juice. This was her usual breakfast, but Luna made it a point to only buy healthy cereal, not the ones like Cocoa Puffs and Lucky Charms.

As she ate, she wondered how her school schedule would be organized. There would have to be the regular classes such as math, English, history, and sciences surely. There would probably be a seven-class schedule then. When Luna finished, she quickly washed the bowl and cup before preparing her lunch. Luna was never one for large lunches; hers usually consisted of two or three sandwiches and a serving or two of fruit. Not only was it relatively cheap to make, but it was also relatively healthy. She prepared a similar lunch for her father, put it in the fridge, and left a note on the fridge informing her father where to find it. Her father managed his business from home, and as a result usually never left it if he had to. Luna could understand; she too was an introvert at heart. Once her lunchbox was clipped on, Luna set of in a slow jog to the school. Well, relatively speaking; her idea of a slow jog was a casual 25 miles per hour jog, a speed many people couldn't even reach unless they sprinted. With any feline form, Luna didn't even break a sweat, and likely could have jogged the speed for several hours without beginning to tire. Luna paid attention to the rustling of the leaves and the chirping of the birds; she was relaxed, but also slightly excited for what the school had to offer.

Luna arrived at school around 20 minutes early, but Luna's policy was one that was popular in a show, but she kept forgetting which one: 'Early is on time, on time is late, and late is unacceptable'. She found a wall with every first-year student's homeroom, learning that hers was Class 1-A.

Luna pushed open the door and noticed that only a few people were there, including Tokoyami, the glasses boy from the exam, a tall girl with raven black hair who sat in the back corner, and another boy, with half-red and half-white hair. He also had a burn scar that covered part of the left side of his face. Luna decided to sit behind Tokoyami, as it was in the back and he was the only person she knew, and she wasn't willing to sit next to Glasses. The half-and-half boy was behind her.

Unfortunately for her, Glasses made it his priority for everyone to know him, and he zipped over, waving his hands in robotic movements.

"Hello, Examinee 1782! I must apologize for my brash actions yesterday! I am from Somei Private Academy! My name is Tenya Iida! What's yours?" Luna winced at his loud voice, ears twitching.

"Luna. Just Luna. Nice to meet you, Iida-kun."

"Nice to meet you too!" and he zipped off to the door, waiting for the next person to enter. As she sat down, Tokoyami turned in his seat.

"Hello, Luna-chan. I see you made it. Congratulations. I saw your name on the practical exam leaderboard. You were third in the amount of villain points, and you tied with me in rescue points, yet you were pushed to first because both of your scores were exceptionally high."

"Thank you, Tokoyami-kun. I must also congratulate you as well. I believe I saw you in third place, behind only me and Bakugo-chan."

"Bakugo-chan? Isn't that a bit … feminine?"

"Normally you would be right, but Bakugo-chan is basically a brother to me. Just don't try to call him that, or he'll try to pluck you feathers."

Tokoyami chuckled "I'll keep that in mind." He turned back to face forward, pulling a book out of his backpack.

Luna herself pulled out her laptop and pulled up several articles and stories about big cat hybrids, specifically jaguar and leopard hybrids. While ligers and tigons were great, she needed to expand her horizons. There was always room for improvement. As she began to read, she felt the gaze of the scarred boy upon her. At first, she tried to ignore it, but it almost felt like an itch at the back of her neck, so she turned her attention to him. He blinked at her, tilting his head slightly when he noticed her ears and tail. A weird feeling settled in Luna. It wasn't exactly embarrassment, nor was it shame or unpleasantness. She decided to try to at least know his name and see why he was just staring at her.

"Hello." Luna said.

"Hello." He merely responded.

"May I be of assistance in any way, or …? "

"No. My apologies for bothering you, it's not everyday you meet a girl with cat ears and tail."

"Oh. Okay then." And Luna turned back to her articles. She frowned at the rather inconclusive information, with ligers and tigons being hybrids with the most information. There was precious little information on the other hybrids, much to the disappointment of Luna. However, she supposed it was something to keep her occupied, so she shrugged her shoulders and continued her research. However, she was stopped when the classroom door slammed open, revealing none other than Bakugo. Most of the class had already taken their seats, with Midoriya and Uraraka the last ones to not appear.

Bakugo stormed over to Luna, who already had a premonition as to what he was angry about.

"What the hell, Luna. How'd you get rescue points? Were you withholding information? Huh?" demanded Bakugo, and Luna sighed.

"Bakugo-chan, I would never withhold information from you. As you likely heard in the orientation room before we separated, I speculated that there was something unsaid about the massive zero-point faux villains, but even I did not know. I assumed there would be some incentive to attack it when we got in, but the only possible incentive that was there was to protect the other examinees." Honestly stated Luna. Bakugo merely snorted.

"Yeah, well, just you wait Luna. Soon, I'll surpass you and every extra in this room to be the number one hero."

"I believe in you, Bakugo-chan." Luna gave him a smile. He blushed and stomped to a seat, kicking his feet up on his desk, much to the annoyance of Iida.

"Don't put your feet up on the desk!" reprimanded Iida. Bakugo seemed to like Iida's anger and goaded him.

"Huh?"

"Don't you think that's rude to the U.A. upperclassmen and people who made the desk?"

She heard the door open and saw Midoriya staring at Bakugo and Iida with dread, but nobody else really paid attention to the door except a boy with several extra arms, two of which were ears.

"Nope! What junior high did you go to, you side character?"

"I attended Somei Private Academy. My name is Tenya Iida.

"Somei? So you're a damn elite, huh? Looks like I'll have fun crushing you."

"'Crushing'? That's cruel. Do you truly aim to be a hero?" They both noticed Midoriya just standing in the doorway.

"You're …" Everyone else turned to face the doorway, and Midoriya paled significantly. He flicked his eyes to Luna, who gave him a small, encouraging nod. He gulped.

"Oh, um …"

"Good morning! I am from Somei Private Academy. My name is – "

"I heard! I'm Midoriya. Nice to meet you, Iida-kun."

"Midoriya-kun, you realized there was something more to that practical exam, didn't you? I had no idea. I misjudged you! I hate to admit it, but you are better than me."

"Sorry, I actually didn't realize anything. Luna-chan spoke of it to me after the practical exam, though."

"Oh, that curly hair! You're that plain looking one! You passed, just like Present Mic-sama said! Of course you did! Your punch was amazing!" Uraraka interrupted, eyes aglow.

"Oh, well, um, it was thanks to you going to speak with him directly that I, uh …" Midoriya said, his face beet red. Luna raised an eyebrow. Is that a crush already? Dang, Midoriya worked fast.

"Huh? How did you know about that?"

"Oh … uh, that's because …"

"I wonder if today's just the entrance ceremony and orientation? I wonder what our teacher's like?"

"Go somewhere else if you want to play at being friends." A sleepy voice interrupted. "This is the hero course." Luna heard a zipper open, and the person begin to suck something. Probably juice, by the sound of it.

"Okay, it took you eight seconds before you were quiet. Time is limited. You kids are not rational enough. I'm your homeroom teacher, Shoto Aizawa. Nice to meet you." Aizawa stepped through the doorway, and Luna saw the most tired and depressed looking person she had ever seen.

"I'm going to take role really fast, then take these gym uniforms and head out onto the field." He pulled out a clipboard. "Just stand and say 'here'. Don't waste our time like these three. Yuga Aoyama.

"Here!" And on Aizawa went until at last he reached Luna, where he paused and rubbed his eyes.

"Luna."

"Here."

"Why isn't you family name printed on the board?"

"Uh, actually Aizawa-sensei, could I tell you after class? It's kind of personal."

"No. Do it now. This class will basically become your family for the next three years, so you might as well let the cat out of the bag." To the complete surprise of Bakugo and Midoriya, Luna went slightly red in the face and clenched her hands, turning her gaze away from Aizawa. Her ears flattened and tail began to whip back and forth.

"It's because … um … I don't have one." Murmured Luna.

"I didn't hear you. Speak up."

"I – "

"Hey, teach, can't you see – "tried to say Bakugo, but Aizawa interrupted him.

"Quiet. I didn't ask you." This time, Midoriya tried to interfere.

"Um, Aizawa-sensei – "but Aizawa again interrupted.

"Why are you all speaking out of turn? Next person to speak up for her will be expelled." And like that, a complete and utter silence filled the classroom. Bakugo looked enraged, but he didn't dare say anything. Midoriya looked terrified.

"Well? I can't hear you." Aizawa growled.

"IT'S BECAUSE I DON'T HAVE ONE, OKAY?! IT WAS TAKEN FROM ME BECAUSE I 'DON'T DESERVE IT'!" yelled Luna, tears filling her eyes. Her face went pale when she realized her outburst, and Midoriya recognized what she was about to do. The entire class except Bakugo gaped at her. Quickly, she activated her quirk, turning her legs and arms into a cheetah's before bursting out of the classroom, a dust trail following her. The classroom remained silent.

"Is that what you were trying to warn me about, Bakugo?" asked Aizawa, but he merely snarled and turned away from Aizawa.

Meanwhile, Luna was running away. Far, far away. She didn't know where, but anywhere was better than the classroom. She eventually found some tables and completely broke down, quiet sobs racking her body. She had never told anyone about her lack of family name except for Bakugo's family, and even then, it was incredibly hard on her. She kept fretting they would make fun of her, but they treated her like before; closer, even. Mitsuki and Masaru Bakugo took it upon themselves to be her real family, and Luna heavily appreciated the gesture.

"Are you alright, miss?" A pleasant voice asked her, startling her to her feet. In front of Luna stood a familiar three-foot-tall figure. She quickly bowed, wiping her eyes trying to clear them, only for tears to immediately replace those that were wiped.

"P-pardon me, Principal Nez-zu. I ap-ppologize for my appearance right now." Answered Luna, slightly stuttering.

"There's no need. Want to sit and talk about it, Luna-san?" Luna didn't even question how he knew her name, just sitting down opposite of him, absently wiping away tears.

"What happened, dear?" kindly asked Nezu.

"My homeroom t-teacher was taking role, and d-demanded to know why no last n-name was printed on his attendance sheet. I t-tried asking him so that I could t-tell him after class, because it's embarrassing and extremely personal, b-but he refused." Luna didn't know why she actually told him. Part of her was admonishing for opening up to a complete stranger, while the other part felt oddly obligated to.

"Ah. You're from Classroom 1-A, correct?" Luna nodded.

"You must excuse Eraser Head. Sometimes he can be rather insensitive, not because he does it on purpose. On the contrary, it's inadvertent." Luna nodded again.

"I'm assuming that you fled because you were mortified that the entire class had to hear, correct?"

"T-That's correct, Principle. I just b-blurted it out, and now I don't w-want to go back in fear of what my classmates would think. I never t-told anyone before except for c-close family friends, and I don't know w-what to do." The poor girl felt on the verge of another breakdown, and, sensing this, Nezu instead took her hand in his paws, much to the surprise of Luna.

"I'm sure Eraser Head deeply regrets making you say that. Would you like me to walk you back? He seems to have planned for everyone to go to the field, but he's probably searching for you. I'm also confident in the fact that your classmates won't think negatively of you."

"If it's no b-bother to you, P-Principle."

"It's not, I assure you. I was just on my walk anyways." And so, Nezu and Luna went. It wasn't long before they came across Aizawa, roaming the halls with a gym uniform.

"Ah, Aizawa-san. I was just looking for you with one of your students who ran off." Nezu said. Before Aizawa could say anything, Luna took a deep bow.

"My sincerest apologies, Aizawa-sensei. I shouldn't have run off; it was childish and unprofessional."

"No. I should have realized that there was a reason besides childish disobedience. Come by during lunch tomorrow. We can talk." Luna nodded and accepted the uniform "Once dressed, go to the field."

Luna took the uniform and left, nervously hoping that she would avoid being alone with the other girls in the locker room. Unfortunately, she had no such luck. Once she walked inside, all attention turned to her, and they began to whisper. Not like Luna didn't hear everything, but she blocked it out. She chose a locker in the corner of the locker room and quickly changed before jogging onto the field. She could feel the pitying gazes on her back, but she ignored it. Once Bakugo spotted her, he walked over to her, hovering nearby protectively, and glaring at the others who stared. Midoriya wanted to comfort her but realized that it would just result with the girl in tears again.

Aizawa walked out a little bit later "All right, you're taking a Quirk Assessment Test."

"A Quirk Assessment Test?!" exclaimed most of the class simultaneously.

"What about the entrance ceremony? The orientation?" asked Uraraka.

"If you're going to be a hero, you don't have time for such leisurely events. U.A.'s selling point is how unrestricted its school traditions are. That's also how their teachers run their classrooms." Aizawa turned to them "You kids have been doing this since junior high, too, right? Physical tests where you weren't allowed to use your Quirks. The country still uses averages taken from results from students not using their Quirks. It's not rational. Well, the Ministry of Education is procrastinating. Luna, you finished at the top of the practical exam, right? In junior high, what was your best result for the softball throw?"

"52 meters." Responded Luna.

"Then, try doing it with your Quirk." He threw her a softball, which she caught and headed to a circle. "You can do whatever you want as long as you stay in the circle. Hurry up. Give it all you got."

Luna transformed her legs and arms into tigress paws, her ears, tail, and hair turning orange with black stripes. She walked to the back edge of the circle, wound her arm, and ran forward as far as she could, throwing the softball with all her strength.

"Know your maximum, first. That is the most rational way to form the foundation of a hero." He showed his phone, showing the distance the softball went before bouncing. It read 467.3 meters. The class began to whisper.

"467 meters? That's pretty far. I didn't she'd be able to throw it that far." whistled Kaminari.

"What's this? It looks fun!" shouted Mina.

"We can use our Quirks as much as we want! As expected from the hero course!" Sero exclaimed.

"'It looks fun', huh? You have three years to become a hero. Will you have an attitude like that the whole time?" Aizawa smirked "All right. Whoever comes in last place in all eight tests will be judged to have no potential and will be punished with expulsion." Luna instantly worried for Midoriya, having gotten over her embarrassment earlier. For the most part.

"Huh?!" exclaimed the class. Scratch that. Luna was VERY worried for Midoriya. Having no Quirk, he would be at an insane disadvantage for the challenges. She desperately hoped this was just a way to push the students to performing their best, and not actually an impending expulsion for one of the students.

"We're free to do whatever we want about the circumstances of our students. Welcome to U.A.'s hero course!" Aizawa lifted his hair and revealed a maniacal grin. Luna shuddered.

"Last place will be expelled?!" stepped forward Uraraka. "But it's the first day of school! No, even if it wasn't the first day of school, this is too unfair!" Luna wondered If Uraraka intentionally acted cute all the time, or if it was accidental. She also wondered what it would be like to play with her hair, but again, she shook her head.

"Natural disasters, big accidents, and selfish villains." Luna's mind flashed to the sludge monster incidents many months ago. "Calamities whose time or place cannot be predicted. Japan is covered in unfairness. Heroes are the ones who reverse those situations. If you wanted to go talk with your friends at Mickey D's after school, too bad. For the next three years, U.A. will do all it can to give you one hardship after another. Go Beyond. Plus Ultra. Overcome it with all you've got."

This time, the school's logo didn't sound cringey or lame. It sounded amazing, coming from someone who wasn't trying to be overtly loud or flashy. It was a direct challenge to every student, forcing them to their limits and break them to progress. It was a promise to the world, proudly proclaiming that graduates are not to be messed with. It was a threat to every villain that tried to conspire against U.A. It was perfect.

"All right, demonstration's over. The real thing starts now."

The first test was the 50-meter dash. Luna had no doubts that she would ace it, already awaiting to use her Quirk. She would show her classmates she wasn't a five-year-old who cried at everything. She would show she was a force of nature.

There is a reason I chose you to carry my power. Show them what it means to fear the cat, little one. Though Luna hadn't heard that mysterious voice since that fateful day, but she promised it that she would. She would go above and beyond, making her presence known to the world. She would be the monster in the closet for villains, the monster under the bed. She would lurk in their nightmares, victoriously proclaiming their doom. The first group was Asui and Iida. Iida passed it in 3.04 seconds, beating Asui handily. Asui frog jumped over the line a fair bit afterward. Next was Ojiro and Uraraka, with Ojiro winning at 5.49 seconds. Finally, it was Luna's turn her opponent Aoyama.

"Don't be too upset once I win, mademoiselle. I don't wish to see you cry again."

"Same." Merely replied Luna, fully transforming into a cheetah and standing at the start line.

"Ready, set, go!" Almost instantly, her time rang out "2.87 seconds!" The robot rang. The other students gasped; Aoyama crossed over at the 5.51 second mark. Luna smirked; she was faster than Iida.

"If I shoot for more than a second, I get a stomachache."

Bakugo and Midoriya went head-to-head, with Bakugo crossing the line after 4.13 seconds, while Midoriya crossed at 7.02 seconds. Luna sighed. She REALLY hoped that Midoriya would not be expelled. He worked so hard to get in, and she couldn't bear to see her dear friend's face should he be forced to leave.

The second test was grip strength. Unfortunately for Luna, she couldn't just transform into a jaguar and chomp on the weight, as that would be considered bite strength, not grip strength; however, she should do fine just squeezing it with her tigress paw. It would be much better if she could use a lion's paw, but since Luna was a girl, she could only transform into a lioness. Unfortunate, really. Instead, Luna got a score of 297.68 kilograms. Pretty good.

"540 kilograms? What are you, a gorilla? An octopus?" Sero asked Shoji.

"Octopi are sexy." She gave the girl a skewed glance, wondering what was running through her mind.

She saw that Midoriya had a grip strength of about 56 kilograms; Bakugo's was slightly higher, at around 59 kilograms.

The third test was the standing long jump. Luna didn't expect to do too well, considering many could just fly or blast themselves over the pit entirely. Despite it, Luna changed into a caracal, minimizing her body weight, and increasing her jumping capabilities. She would have changed into a puma, but she wanted to keep that form a secret for now. Luna did well, jumping about 7 meters before touching down in the sand, making it about four-fifths of the way there.

The fourth test was repeated side steps. This test was where Luna's quirk would actually hamper her more than help her; though cats were for the most part agile, they had poor endurance, so Luna just resorted to her human body's capabilities. She did ok, but not great. Luna merely shrugged; you couldn't do outstanding at everything.

The fifth test was the softball throw. As Luna had already completed the test for demonstration, she didn't have to do it again; she just resorted to looking. Uraraka managed to make the ball go to infinity because she could float it which Luna thought was pretty neat. Bakugo, however, managed to send his flying at a staggering 705.2 meters. Luna hummed appreciatively, and when he heard her, he just smirked. Then came Midoriya's turn. She didn't expect anything too crazy, perhaps close to Bakugo's score without using his Quirk.

"It doesn't look good for Midoriya-kun if he continues like this." Remarked Iida.

"Huh? Of course not. He's a Quirkless small fry, you know." Snapped Bakugo, upset that people actually cared for Midoriya.

Iida looked at Bakugo in shock "Quirkless?! Are you not aware of what he did in the entrance exam?" Luna furrowed her brows. What he did at the entrance exam?

"You didn't destroy a single robot?"

"I did, but it was the zero-pointer! I must have hit a weak point or something!"

Something wasn't adding up here. Iida made it sound like he one-shot punched it, but that wasn't possible. Midoriya was Quirkless. Wasn't he? She saw him take a deep breath and throw the ball. It only landed 46 meters away. However, she heard Aizawa take a sudden deep breath and heard his Quirk enable.

He used his Quirk? That means he erased someone's Quirk, the only candidate being Midoriya. But he's Quirkless. What's going on here?

"I was definitely trying to use it just now …" Midoriya said, looking at his right hand.

"I erased your Quirk. That entrance exam was definitely not rational enough. Even a kid like you was accepted."

"You erased my Quirk?" Now Luna was really confused. She normally would have stood up for Midoriya, but she was so lost. Midoriya has a Quirk? Why had he never mentioned it? Was he that ashamed of it?

Maybe he doesn't think as highly about you as you think, arrogant prick. A small part of her subconscious said, but Luna shook her head. No, that wasn't the case.

"From what I can tell, you can't control your Quirk, can you? Do you intend on becoming incapacitated again and have someone save you?"

"That's-That's not my intention – "but Midoriya was interrupted, Aizawa's capture scarf taking a hold of young Midoriya and dragging him over.

"Whatever your intention, I'm saying that's what those around you will be forced to do. In the past, there was an oppressively passionate hero who saved over a thousand people by himself and created a legend. Even if you have the same reckless valor, you'll just be decked and turned into a useless doll after saving one person. Izuku Midoriya. With your power, you can't become a hero." Aizawa let him go "I've returned your Quirk. You have two turns for the ball throw. Hurry up and get it over with." While Luna heard everything perfectly because of her enhanced hearing, her classmates didn't and began to mutter amongst themselves. Luna wouldn't jump to conclusions yet. She would believe what she saw, and if that was a Quirk, well … It would be hypocritical of Luna to judge the boy too harshly. She had enough skeletons in her closet to make her own personal graveyard.

Suddenly, Midoriya began to throw the ball. Luna heard a strange sound coming from his direction; almost a humming, but it sounded as if something was charging up. And then he let if fly. Luna's jaw dropped in shock, though she quickly slammed it shut.

Midoriya-kun … I promised I wouldn't judge you too harshly if you did have a Quirk, and I plan to abide by that statement. However, I cannot but help feeling a little hurt.

Aizawa showed a distance of 705.3 meters; Luna would have laughed had this been normal for her, but it wasn't. Luna sat in quiet disbelief. When she flicked her gaze to Midoriya, she saw that his finger was absolutely busted.

So that's what Aizawa-sensei meant about incapacitating himself. That's how Midoriya-kun likely beat the zero-point faux villain; he one shot it, but likely crippled himself doing so.

"Aizawa-sense! I can still move!" proudly proclaimed Midoriya.

Suddenly, everyone snapped out of their stupor:

"He got over 700 meters?!"

"Finally, a hero-like record!"

"His finger is swollen! There was the entrance exam, too. He has a strange Quirk…"

"It's not very stylish."

Bakugo merely gaped at Midoriya. Luna didn't blame him one bit. Suddenly, he rushed Midoriya, hand outstretched.

"Tell me what's going on, Deku, you bastard!" However, he found himself stuck, with his wrist grabbed by Luna and his body held by Aizawa's capture scarf.

"Luna? Let me go!"

"No." was the reply. The entire class observed her with jaws dropped at her. Not only did they not notice when or how she shot forward so fast, but they were surprised by the steel in her voice. From what little the class knew about Bakugo, he seemed cocky and full of himself, but powerful as well. The fact that she stood up to him showed how much Luna was willing to protect the boy.

Bakugo, sensing a losing battle, switched focus.

"What the? These cloths are hard!"

"They're weapons made for capture made of carbon fiber woven together with metal wire made of a special alloy. Jeez." Scoffed Aizawa "Don't keep making me use my Quirk over and over. I have a dry eye."

"It's such a waste, since his Quirk is so amazing!" chanted the class.

"We're wasting time. Whoever's next, get ready." Bakugo pulled his wrist out of Luna's grasp, who merely walked back to the class and sat down. Bakugo glared at Midoriya but didn't attack him.

"Is your finger all right?" asked Uraraka.

"Oh, yeah." Was the reply.

Luna watched Bakugo with worry. He had always believed himself better than Midoriya for the simple reason that he had a Quirk while Midoriya didn't, but now his reality was shattered. He was now forced to accept Midoriya as an equal, and Luna couldn't imagine how Bakugo felt right now.

Luna just sighed, lost in her thoughts once again.

Uh oh, Luna found out that Midoriya has a Quirk! Sorry about the relatively short chapter as compared to the previous two, but the next one will make up for that. I hope. Anyways, I wanted to mention the "Early is on time, on time is late, and late is unacceptable" mantra. Anyone recognize it? Anyways, I got nothing else for you guys. Stay safe out there! – Bananaman out!
