Chapter 11: Organ Harvest

Vale Hospital…

"Doctor, Mr. Hanalee is having trouble breathing!" A nurse called to one of the few doctors on call in the night.

"Alright, when did this start to happen?" The doctor inquired as he followed the nurse to the patient's room, where another nurse is trying to help the old man who laid on the bed.

"He just started coughing uncontrollably just a few minutes ago, and his O2 levels dropped dramatically." The nurse explained.

The doctor checked on the old man, and he noticed that, indeed, the man couldn't breathe. He ordered the nurses to move him to the ER in order to find out what was happening. However, before they could even reach it, the man died from suffocation.

"Damn, we were too late." The doctor cursed as he pulled a sheet over the dead man.

"I'll take the man to the morgue, sir." The nurse who reported the incident stated.

"Thank you, and once you're done, go home. The only other patient in urgent need is the child." The doctor ordered.

"There's no need for that. I can stay and help." The nurse replied, clearly, have a great interest in the matter.

"No, I insist." The doctor asserted as he turned and left with the other nurse.

"Oh well, I guess there is always tomorrow." The nurse sighed as he brought the body to the morgue. When he got to his locker, he pulled out two human lungs from inside that had no blood on them.

"This old man did put up quite the show anyway." The nurse smirked as he licked one of the lungs.

Putting the lungs away, he took off his work clothes to change back into his regular clothes revealing a star-shaped brand on the back of his neck and several scars on his body. It looked like he had cut himself open several times over.

"I can't wait to revel in the face the boy makes when he slowly dies." The nurse laughed as he gave the other lung a lick.

"What a wonderful world." The nurse smiled.

Beacon Infirmary…

Joshua stared at the ceiling of the infirmary, unable to sleep. The recent events that had unfolded were all still settling in for the Stand User. From defeating Angus to Weiss's second interrogation and finally learning the name of his enemy.

It concerned him that Kage's Stand was able to control any shadow. When he thought about it, he looked at the shadows all around the room and stared at them for several minutes. When nothing happened, he decided to figure out a counter some other time.

"I doubt he's able to see out of each one all at once." Joshua thought as he returned his sights to the ceiling.

Then there was the thing with Weiss. It seemed as if the girl was certain Joshua knew something about Walter Schnee. Well, to be fair, she was on the right track to finding him, but Joshua wasn't going to reveal it yet. But one thing still perplexed him most of all.

He still didn't understand why Ozpin had told them about this Salem. Sure it was a little necessary as she is the driving force of Kage's revenge but still. Joshua felt like the headmaster of Beacon was hiding something.

"Well, at the moment, I don't think I should fully trust him either. We all have our secrets, and I'll just need to be careful around him." Joshua thought as he looked at the ticking clock that indicated it to be 1am.

"I should get some sleep." Joshua decided as he closed his eyes, not noticing the clock suddenly ticking backward a few seconds before returning to normal.

Vale Hospital Next Day…

Ozpin escorted the Stand Trio through the Vale Hospital towards the room where Scotty rested. When they reached the room on the thirty-fifth floor, they saw Ironwood looking over Scotty, who seemed to be very scared about his current situation.

"I just want you to answer my questions." Ironwood explained calmly to the boy as he remained silent.

"I hope you haven't scared him, James. We don't want rumors spreading that you scare kids going around." Ozpin teased.

"He's been like this ever since he woke up. I can't get a word out of him." Ironwood replied as he spotted the Stand Trio.

"Are you sure it's safe to have them here?" Ironwood inquired, still suspicious of them.

"There is no need for concern. They are on our side. We've talked it out, and we are going to be looking over their operation for now." Ozpin explained.

"I still think this is a bad move, Oz." Ironwood voiced.

"Only time will tell James," Ozpin replied as the Stand Trio ignored their conversation and walked up to Scotty.

"Hey, what's your name?" Joshua asked, but Scotty refused to answer.

"My name is Joshua Joestar. My friends and I are not here to hurt you. We just want to know if you say who took the arrow from you." Joshua explained.

Scotty still didn't answer. He was just too scared. But not because of the people in front of him. Scotty was scared because he failed the mission and lost an arrow. A target had been painted on the back of his head, and he knew nothing could stop the Brando Institution from killing him.

"Listen, I think I can understand what's going on in your head. You failed Brando, and no doubt they are sending someone to kill you, but if you help us, we will protect you and take down the Brando Institution." Max said.

Scotty still kept silent because he couldn't believe anyone could stop them and what they were doing. As they continued to try to get Scotty to open up, a nurse entered the room with a strange smile on his face.

"Hello, my name is Yashimaru Genkai, and I am the resident nurse. Is there anything I can assist the patient with?" Yashimaru inquired.

"He seems fine he's just not talking," Ironwood responded.

"I see. Well, I just need to check on his vitals," Yashimaru stated as he approached Scotty.

As the nurse inspected, Scotty the rest stood in silence as they waited for him to finish. As he waited, Joshua had a premonition of a hand going through Scotty's body. He didn't know what it meant, but he knew that he couldn't let anyone touch him, even the nurse.

Joshua had to make sure the kid was safe no matter what, for not only was he a lead, but he wasn't going to let a kid die, so he grabbed onto Yashimaru's arm, stopping him. He wasn't sure if it was the nurse, but he had to make sure that no one was near him.

"I'm sorry, but I need to finish, sir. If you try to stop me from helping a patient, I will have security escort you out." Yashimaru threatened as he glared into Joshua's eyes.

As everyone looked at Joshua, surprised at his action, Joshua inspected the nurse instead. He couldn't tell if this nurse was an enemy or not, so to make sure, he pulled down his collar to look at his neck. That is when Joshua saw the star branded on the nurse's neck.

Wasting no time, Joshua summoned Crimson Destiny and backhanded the nurse right in the cheek, sending him into the wall. The wall cracked from the force, and Yashimaru fell to the ground as everyone looked at him in shock.

"JoJo, what the hell are you doing?!" Max questioned as Joshua grabbed Scotty and pulled him out of the bed.

"He's a Stand User. He's here to kill the kid." Joshua responded, getting the rest of the trio to summon their Stands.

"Are you insane? You just assaulted an innocent man!" Ironwood yelled as Yashimaru rose up behind him. Suddenly Ironwood fell to the ground clutching his stomach, looking like he was in pain.

"Damn, I forgot about your Stand's power. I should have been more careful, but I was too excited." Yashimaru laughed as he held a human stomach in his hand.

"What the hell? Where did he get that?!" Max questioned as Ozpin got ready for a fight.

"I just received this little donation from the General," Yashimaru answered as he tossed the stomach in his hands.

Quickly looking over the general himself, Joshua saw no hole nor any mark that would indicate where Yashimaru had taken the stomach. So was it really Ironwood's stomach? It couldn't be because Ironwood showed no reaction until it should have already been out.

"I don't know what you've done but reverse it now!" Joshua demanded.

"No, can do Joshua Joestar. I have a job to do, and I take much pleasure in doing so. A few casualties here, and there is just the icing on the cake." Yashimaru chuckled.

"I never would have guessed that Kage would have an agent in a hospital. To stoop so low as to kill someone when they're stuck in here." Ozpin muttered as he glared at Yashimaru.

"Don't be like that. I came here of my own free will to work here. As long as I do what the boss says, I can kill as many people here as I want." Yashimaru explained.

"You came to this hospital, a place for healing, to you kill people?!" Richard questioned.

"Precisely with my Stand Organ Harvest, I can relish in the suffering that I inflict on the patients here." Yashimaru giggled.

"Now that I've been found out, I'm going to kill you all here and now. Not that I didn't already get orders to do so." Yashimaru added as he tore off his shirt revealing His many scars.

Not too long after did his Stand appeared behind him. His Stand looked like a slim mechanical human wearing a surgeon's outfit. Once it appeared, Yashimaru proceeded to hand what could be Ironwood's stomach to his Stand, which opened up its own stomach and inserted it inside.

"Another fine addition to my collection," Yashimaru smirked as he licked his fingers.

"You're going to be giving that back now!" Joshua demanded as he went to attack Yashimaru.

Crimson Destiny threw a punch at Yashimaru, who managed to dodge his attack and proceeded to reach out with his Stand. Organ Harvest's hand phased through Joshua's head before coming out the back then returning to Yashimaru.

Before Joshua could even ask what happened, he lost vision in his left eye just as a sharp pain occurred in that area. Joshua clutched his left hand over his left eye and made a startling discovery.

"Missing something?" Yashimaru questioned as he held up Joshua's left eyeball.

"No way!" Max denied as he went to Joshua's side while Richard trapped Yashimaru with his House of Cards.

"What did he do?" Richard asked.

"I don't know how, but his Stand managed to steal my left eye," Joshua answered.

"You are going to surrender and return their organs immediately," Ozpin ordered as he approached Yashimaru.

"Be careful, don't get too close, or else he'll be able to attack you," Richard warned.

"Oh, but I won't need to attack you. Not when I have these," Yashimaru stated as he the hand opposite of the one that held Joshua's eye.

From said hand fell several screws and bolts that quickly hit the ground below, confusing everyone there. They thought that he was able to just pull out organs, so where did those come from?

They soon got their answer when the ceiling began to creak and crack open, indicating he had taken them from the supports above. Acting quickly to protect everyone, Richard retracted his House of Cards and used them to protect everyone but Yashimaru.

He did it just in time for the ceiling above to cave in around them, and once it finished, Richard pushed the debris away before returning his House of Cards to him. But when he did, Yashimaru was nowhere to be seen.

"Where did he go?" Max questioned as he helped Joshua up.

"I don't…" Richard began before he was interrupted by Yashimaru coming up behind him and putting his Stand's arm into his back.

"The perfect distraction. Collapsing the ceiling with the only safe point being where I was and now." Yashimaru started as he pulled his Stand's arm back.

"I have a kidney to add to my collection!" Yashimaru laughed as he stole Richard's kidney and put it and Joshua's eye within his Stand.

"Damn!" Richard cursed as Joshua summoned his Crimson Destiny to attack Yashimaru and get him away from Richard.

"TRO!" Crimson Destiny shouted as it struck, but due to Joshua's restricted vision, he could not land a good hit.

Yashimaru managed to jump back to the room's door before exiting to get away from the opposing Stand Users. Now gone, everyone checked up on each other to make sure they were okay.

At the moment, the only people who were hurt were Ironwood, Joshua, and Richard, and only Ironwood had the worst of it. With Ironwood missing his stomach, he had the greatest physical change, and his body couldn't keep up.

"What do we do now? How are we going to get their organs back?" Ozpin questioned.

"Best guess is that we just need to beat the enemy. So either we get the organs back without trouble, but there could also be that we just get them and need to surgically put them back in." Max responded.

"We still need to find him first." Joshua reminded. Just as he said that the floor below them began to creak and slowly crack open.

"Shit, he's breaking the floor!" Joshua cursed.

Taking the initiative, Richard covered Ironwood, Ozpin, and Scotty in his cards before throwing them out of the room. Before the Stand Trio could get out, the floor collapsed, and they fell to the floor below.

Thankfully, the room below was unoccupied, but Yashimaru ran in and threw his Stand at Max before they could react. The Stand fazed through Max's head before appearing behind him and returning to Yashimaru.

"Thanks for the donation," Yashimaru smirked as he waved a tongue.

"No, it can't be!" Richard cried as he and Joshua turned to Max, who opened his mouth to reveal his missing tongue.

"What the hell is this, Stand?" Joshua questioned as several footsteps could be heard coming towards them. Several doctors and nurses rushed to the room where the Stand Users were and stood in shock.

"Yashimaru, what is going on here? And what happened to your body?" A doctor questioned.

"Oops, can't have any witnesses here." Yashimaru sighed as he summoned his Stand.

"Get out of here!" Joshua shouted, trying to warn the doctors and nurses.

However, Joshua's warning was too late as Yashimaru stole each and every one of their hearts, causing them to fall over dead. The Stand Trio stood in shock at Yashimaru's action seeing him kill them instantly. But it brought one question. Why didn't he do that to them?

"Why did you do that?" Joshua questioned.

"They were getting in the way of our fun," Yashimaru answered.

"You killed them instantly. So you've been toying with us. Why?" Richard inquired.

"Because I've seen people like them die so many times, it's boring but watching you three and the kid die nice and slow will be beautiful," Yashimaru exclaimed.

"You're sick." Joshua hissed.

"Thanks for the compliment." Yashimaru thanked.

"Once you die, your organs will taste delicious," Yashimaru smirked as he licked his lips.

Having heard enough of his insane rambling, Max threw several knives at the psychotic nurse. Yashimaru reacted quickly, only having the knives barely scrape his flesh. However, he was met with Joshua throwing a punch at the man with Crimson Destiny.

Nevertheless, Yashimaru managed to move his head out of the attack's way, causing Crimson Destiny to hit the wall behind him. Ducking down, Yashimaru summoned his Stand and shoved its hand into Joshua's stomach.

But before Yashimaru could pull anything out, he was struck in the back by the point of Ozpin's cane. The headmaster got Yashimaru away from Joshua before he could steal another organ, but the enemy Stand User wasn't going down that easily.

He summoned his Stand, and since Ozpin could not see it, he was unprepared for its attack. Organ Harvest's hand shot through Ozpin's chest, taking his left lung. Immediately Ozpin had a hard time breathing as the sudden change from two to one lung was too fast.

"A lung is always a good choice." Yashimaru laughed as he kicked Ozpin away.

Before he could store it within the confines of his Stand, Richard whipped a line of cards at the enemy user. Yashimaru barely dodged the attack, with his aura taking the brunt of the damage. Richard attempted to trap Yashimaru, but he felt a surge of pain from his body.

It seems as if he has yet to adjust to the sudden loss of one of his kidneys, and it seemed his body was trying to make up pain in order to register its loss. Yashimaru took this opportunity and attacked Richard, who blocked him with one of his cards.

Above, Scotty watched the fight as Ironwood was struggling with his body's reaction to his missing stomach. However, that didn't stop him from trying as he attempted to pull out his gun to shoot Yashimaru, but he couldn't get the strength to do so.

As for the child Stand User, he was frozen in fear. For as long as he could remember, he had been afraid. All he wanted in life was to be a normal kid, but it seemed fate had other plans for him.

For as long as he could remember, he had his Stand power. It seemed that he was the rare few that were born with the power of the Stand without the need for the arrow. Sadly because of that, he was destined for a life full of pain.

He remembered the very day he was sent to the Brando Institution. It was a living hell. Scotty was never a fighter. He was a coward who just wanted peace. Scotty just wanted to get away and live his life, and he believed that if he followed what he was told to do, he could leave.

But it never came for him every day. He was put further and further into the institution and farther from ever getting out of the institution. After everything he did for the institution and everything they did to him, it was all going coming to an end.

"They're out to kill me! There's nothing that can stop the people of Brando, not even them!" Scotty thought as he looked at the battle below.

Joshua attacked Yashimaru with his Crimson Destiny. However, due to his impaired sight, his attacks barely connected. Yashimaru responded by stealing Joshua's liver before holding up his arms to block incoming knives from Max.

Three knives pierced his left arm, making it useless to him as Joshua took the chance to clock Yashimaru in the jaw. The blow significantly damaged the sadist nurse's aura as he fell to the floor before getting back up.

Once back on his feet, Yashimaru jumped back to avoid a whip from Richard, who soon retracted his cards. Richard didn't want to move too much as he was still feeling the pain from having his kidney removed.

"So this is what a battle between Stands are like," Ozpin commented as he watched the invisible fight waiting for an opportunity to strike.

"Is this all you guys have to offer?" Yashimaru questioned as Ironwood took out his pistol and aimed it at the back of the psychotic nurse's head.

"We can't have that now, can we?" Yashimaru smirked as Ironwood's weapon fell apart.

"But how?" Ironwood questioned.

"All firearms share a fundamental similarity, one which I can easily make any I encounter easy to disable." Yashimaru began.

"Yours is simply an advanced revolver. I know those like the back of my hand. But the human and faunus body I know even better." Yashimaru laughed.

"I don't get it. How does that give him the power to…!" Max thought before he realized how Yashimaru's Stand worked or at least fundamentally.

"His Stand is like a surgeon as long as he knows exactly where an object or organ is, he can take them out without harming the physical body or object!" Max theorized.

Max was right. It was the secret of Yashimaru's Stand Organ Harvest. As long as he knew where something was, he could take it out with his Stand. Thus Yashimaru familiarized himself in many areas to utilize his Stand to its fullest.

Back when he was a boy, he would find and kill wild animals for fun before cutting them open to see what was inside. Eventually, it bored him, and he focused on the human body. When his aura was unlocked, he cut himself open several times to see where his own insides were.

Eventually, there were things he couldn't see without killing himself. So instead of giving his body any more scars, he killed the parents that had given him birth. Yashimaru spent weeks cutting open and inspecting their rotting corpses to familiarize himself with the human body.

Soon afterward, when local huntsmen came to check up on him, Yashimaru had convinced him that his parents were killed by Grimm as he had gotten rid of the bodies. He was taken to an orphanage where he would take some of his fellow orphans and kill them.

Yashimaru always stayed ahead of the police and huntsmen, never getting got as he moved from place to place before attending medical school. It was there that he became a nurse where he could kill more people.

After years of doing so, he had gained a love for the suffering of others, and when he got his Stand, his fun increase tenfold. It wasn't long before he was approached by Kage himself and agreed to join his cause.

Of course, it was on certain terms of Kage allowing him to keep up with his fun, and in return, he would help Kage in his plan to kill Salem or else he would die. He later set himself up in Vale hospital, learning the building plans so that he could easily dismantle the building.

Now he was before the Stand Trio and could easily kill them, and the only reason he didn't was because of his sadistic nature. This was the gap of experience between them as they faced someone who had familiarized himself with his Stand so much he had 'mastered' the power.

Max tried to tell his comrades, but with his tongue gone, he was unable to speak any words. They needed a plan of attack as fighting Yashimaru as they were was not going to work. It was then that he had an idea on how he would communicate.

Summoning his Stand, he carved a message into a nearby wall before tapping on Joshua's shoulder. Joshua turned around and saw the message, and when he read it, he smashed it so that Yashimaru wouldn't know that they understood his Stand.

"I've got a plan," Joshua stated.

"What is it?" Richard inquired as they stood across Yashimaru, who couldn't care less about what their plan was.

"Just follow my lead," Joshua responded as he moved his left hand behind him and motioned for Max to distract Yashimaru.

As Max threw several knives at Yashimaru, who bent back to avoid the attack, Joshua ran up to Richard and whispered into his ear. Once he gave him his instructions, he went to engage Yashimaru with Max.

To make sure that he was out of the sadistic Stand Users range, Joshua took rubble from the former ceiling and hurled it at the psycho nurse. Richard made his way back up to the floor above, bringing Ozpin with as he stepped in front of Scotty.

Scotty remained unresponsive as Richard used his Stand to cut up large chunks of the wall. While he did this, Joshua dropped to the ground to avoid Organ Harvest. Max sent several knives at him, sticking them into Yashimaru's right leg. Rolling over, Yashimaru tore each one out, looking unfazed as he bled excessively.

"Interesting," Yashimaru smirked as he pulled out a syringe and injected himself with a liquid that caused his bleeding to cease.

"You're in a hospital. You can't work here without learning how to slow excessive bleeding." Yashimaru laughed as he whipped his right arm around and phased his Stand through Max's head.

It came out holding both of Max's eyes, leaving the Zeppeli entirely blind. Now unable to fight effectively, Max was useless as Yashimaru went for the kill. But Joshua punched the nurse away with Crimson Destiny.

Before Yashimaru could recover, he rolled over to avoid several pillars of cards that came down from above to pierce him through. When he was away, Max jumped back down and created a whip to attack Yashimaru again while he covered the hole above with his Stand.

"Well, at least you Stand Users are able to fight. I feel like some people have been out of battle for too long." Yashimaru chuckled, referring to both Ironwood and Ozpin.

The two headmasters were currently separated from the fight as Richard's House of Cards covered the hole. Both were both astonished and confused at the fight that was occurring as neither could fully see what was happening in the fight.

"Honestly, your Stands are both fascinating and dangerous, so I'm going to finish this now. But what to finish it with? Shall I take out your hearts? Or maybe remove your brains and watch your body shut down!?" Yashimaru questioned as he licked his lips over and over.

"Sadly, you're not going to find out the answer to that question!" Joshua declared.

"Oh, and why not?" Yashimaru inquired.

"Because I didn't cover the ceiling for nothing," Richard responded, confusing Yashimaru as Richard's cards formed a funnel above the nurse.

Yashimaru looked up as his eyes widened to see several chunks of wall and ceiling fall down upon him. The entire move came so fast that Yashimaru couldn't move out of the way as the chunks crushed him breaking his aura.

Ironwood, Ozpin, and Scotty all looked at the scene in shock as Joshua and Richard surrounded the pile. Just as Joshua thought when Max explained how Yashimaru's Stand worked. He needed to take out specific parts of an object or person so he couldn't do anything against solid rock.

"Is he dead?" Ozpin asked from above.

"No. He's waiting." Joshua stated as Organ Harvest burst out of the pile only to be trapped by House of Cards.

Yashimaru followed soon after coming at Joshua from his blindside with a scalpel to stab him, but he was stopped when Crimson Destiny grabbed his arm. Crimson Destiny crushed Yashimaru's arm as Joshua turned to look the nurse in the eyes.

"You know when I'm missing one eye, and you're trying to attack me, it's obvious where you're going to attack," Joshua said as Richard stood behind him.

"I want to know how you receive orders and where Kage Myojo is?" Joshua questioned.

"I'm not talking…if I do, then I'm a dead man." Yashimaru spat.

"It'll be a lot more painful if you don't tell us what we want to know!" Joshua declared.

"Then you better just kill me then because I'll never talk!" Yashimaru laughed as he didn't believe in Joshua's threat.

"I don't like having to resort to killing my enemy. I only do it if absolutely necessary. So for a piece of scum like you." Joshua began.

"I won't show mercy." Joshua finished as Crimson Destiny reared its free fist back.

"TroTroTroTroTroTroTroTROTROTROTROTROTROTROTROTROTROTROTROTROTROTZEN!" Crimson Destiny shouted as it beat Yashimaru's face in.

When it finished its assault on the killer nurse, it released Yashimaru from its grip before slamming its left fist into his chest. The punch sent Yashimaru straight through the window that was behind him, sending him falling.

Yashimaru fell from the thirty-fourth floor all the way to the ground with a loud crash dying on impact. When he died and his Stand disappeared, every organ that he had stolen shot out and returned to its owner.

Though they came back with force as they shot back into their bodies knocking Joshua and Richard onto their backs. They slowly got back to their feet before helping up Max as Ozpin went to cover up the terrible situation.

Name: Yashimaru Genkai.

Stand: Organ Harvest.

Type: Close Ranged.

Brand: Star.

Ability: To take out objects from anything with surgical precision. This includes organs, screws, and even parts of machines.

Status: Deceased!

"Did you have to kill him?" Ironwood questioned as he approached the Stand Trio.

"He was too dangerous to leave alive, and there's no way to keep him in prison," Joshua explained.

"Well, though, while I can't say I understood what happened in this fight, and I hate relying on untrained civilians, at least you won." Ironwood sighed.

"We got lucky," Max murmured.

"Don't be too hard on yourself." Ozpin began as he returned.

"Just because the battle was hard doesn't mean your victory wasn't earned." Ozpin finished.

"He was toying with us," Richard stated.

"He could have killed us whenever he wanted to, but he wanted to watch us suffer first. Those dead doctors are proof of that." Joshua pointed out.

"Well, he can't hurt anyone anymore." Ironwood reminded as he looked out the window.

Before anyone could say anything further, a large explosion rang down from the south part of Vale as the city-wide alert sounded. Just as suddenly, both of the headmaster's scrolls went off, alerting them of the situation.

"Oz…" Ironwood began as he turned to his fellow headmaster.

"Send in your troops and clear civilians," Ozpin stated, knowing what Ironwood wanted to say without him saying it.

"Care to inform everyone present on what's going on?" Joshua requested.

"There has been a breach in lower Vale. Grimm are pouring in, and few huntsmen can make it to the scene. James will go and help the situation." Ozpin explained.

"If you can, your help would also be appreciated," Ozpin added.

"Sorry, but we're pushing it as it is. Honestly, I feel two seconds away from going unconscious." Max replied.

"We'll stay here with the kid you take care of your business," Joshua said.

"Very well. I'll make sure the hospital is ready for any new patients then." Ozpin replied as he and Ironwood left.

"Did he really just leave us here alone?" Richard questioned.

"It's not like we're in any condition to do much." Joshua sighed as he picked up a bent-up chair and placed Max in it.

"I still don't fully trust him, though," Richard stated.

"You and me both," Joshua replied.

"Where's the kid?" Joshua inquired as Richard pointed up to where Scotty was still cowering up on the upper floor. Richard created a small staircase with his Stand allowing the two to walk up to the boy.

"It's over now. You don't need to be scared anymore." Joshua informed, but Scotty remained the same.

"I don't think he's paying attention." Richard pointed out.

"He's probably too scared to realize what was happening in the world around him." Joshua agreed.

"Should we uh…do something?" Richard asked.

"I don't know. I don't want to, you know, slap him back to reality." Joshua responded.

"You just killed a guy, and you won't…okay, never mind, I wouldn't hit a kid either," Richard replied as Joshua grabbed Scotty's shoulder and lightly shook him.

"Hey, it's over. The Stand User is dead." Joshua informed.

"O-Over?" Scotty questioned.

"Yeah, everything's okay now." Richard clarified.

"You beat him? But there will be more…" Scotty muttered.

"I think he's not exactly okay in the head," Richard whispered.

"He's a kid, and gods know what he's been through. He's probably terrified of the institution, and that fear is hard to remove." Joshua replied.

"Well, from how you experienced it and seeing as this kid can't be any older than twelve, I think that's understandable." Richard sighed.

"What do we do to calm him down?" Richard asked.

"I don't know, man I have no idea how to work with kids. Really doesn't look good for me being a father." Joshua responded as he knelt down in from of Scotty.

"Look, I know you're scared. The institution must have done terrible things to you, and trust me, I know how bad they can be. But my friends and I are going to put an end to them." Joshua began.

"I give you my word that we won't let them hurt you again if you come with us. I promise." Joshua finished as Scotty looked at him in almost disbelief, as it had been a while since someone showed him kindness.

"This place is most likely going to be brimming with new patients soon. Richard, get a doctor to check up on the kid. I'll stay here and look after him." Joshua requested.

"Sure thing," Richard replied as he left to find a doctor, and Joshua got Scotty down to the lower floor sitting him next to Max.

"It's been nonstop, hasn't it?" Max inquired in a low whisper so that Scotty couldn't hear.

"What has?" Joshua asked.

"The fighting. We've been at it nearly nonstop since we left Mistral." Max pointed out.

"Don't tell me you're getting scared?" Joshua questioned.

"No. But this fight showed us something. We're not ready to take on everything the institution can throw at us." Max began.

"Then we train, and we prepare. Because they'll never stop coming after us." Joshua replied.

"I know. Still, though, it couldn't hurt to get some help from another Stand User." Max stated.

"Another Stand User? How are we going to do that?" Joshua questioned.

"I think there's someone in this very hospital who may just help us. After all, he didn't seem so bad." Max smirked.

Five floors below, doctors exited a room of a patient who was to be released the next day. While the doctors went to help new arrivals, the man within the room looked out the window at the chaos. On the door, it stated the patient's name as Elton Jobe.

Beacon Hours Later…

"What a day." Ruby sighed as she and the rest of her team, along with Zwei, sat on the edge of the bullhead landing.

"Who knew saving Vale could be this tiring." Yang laughed.

"I'm pretty sure any rational person could figure that out." Weiss pointed out.

"At least, for now, it's over. But I doubt the White Fang will take it sitting down." Blake reminded.

"Well, at least that will take a while, so for now, I think we should get some sleep," Yang replied.

"Uh yes!" Ruby whined as they stood up to return to their room.

However, as they began to walk back, a bullhead flew over them and landed in front of them. When it landed, several people exited, first being Ozpin and Ironwood. The final ones were Joshua, Richard, Max, and Scotty, all of who were bandaged up.

"Aren't they those Stand guys?" Yang questioned.

"What are they doing with Professor Ozpin and General Ironwood?" Blake wondered.

"I didn't think they would still be around," Ruby stated as they approached the group.

"Team RWBY, shouldn't you be in your rooms? It's nearly night?" Ozpin inquired.

"We were just about to do that, sir, but…" Ruby began.

"What's going on?" Ruby inquired.

"Nothing that you need concern yourself, children. Now we have some business to do, but before we go, I would like to commend you all for your acts today." Ozpin began.

"You four acted exactly as a huntress should and helped save Vale from a horrible event." Ozpin finished before he turned around, and the group began to leave.

"Hey, JoJo, your hair looks a bit off." Richard pointed out as Joshua looked at a nearby window.

"Damn, looks like I need to dye it again." Joshua sighed as Weiss looked at him, seeing what she thought a sliver of white.

"Weiss…Weiss, are you okay?" Ruby asked, snapping Weiss back to reality.

"Oh yeah, I just…" Weiss began looking back at Joshua, but he was too far to get another look at.

"It's nothing. Let's go back to the dorm. I need sleep." Weiss stated as Team RWBY left.

Elsewhere…

Davion Brando walked down the streets of Vale in his new clothes that were nearly identical to his old pair. The sun had set, and the people were in their homes due to the attack Cinder had caused earlier.

Attached to his belt was the Stand Arrow that was in a protective sheath so that it wouldn't accidentally touch anyone. He soon entered a restaurant that, by all means, should have been closed due to the attack but wasn't.

"Dio! Come to see me so soon? I should be flattered." Viola greeted as Davion entered.

The purple-haired Stand User was currently sitting on a chair that was suspended on the wall while she read a book. Much like the last time Davion saw her, gravity seemed to bend to her will in a sense so that she could do this.

"Be flattered if you want, but we both know I'm not into women," Davion smirked as he took a seat.

"It was easy to find you though this was the first safehouse I looked in." Davion pointed out.

"Well, you are the only one who is looking for me, so why should I hide?" Viola inquired.

"You do realize your sitting on a wall, right?" Davion questioned as Viola looked down at the wall.

"So it would seem. Honestly, this just happens. I can't help if I end up on a wall or ceiling." Viola laughed.

"So ignoring that, what did you come and see me about?" Viola asked.

"I'm here for a favor," Davion stated.

"A favor? That's rare coming from you, especially as I don't take favors lightly." Viola smirked.

"I know, but this is a simple favor. I know my Uncle Kage wants you to kill Joestar and his friends, but I want you to leave Joestar to me." Davion explained.

"Really, why the sudden interest?" Viola inquired.

"My father has asked me to test his abilities and see how far he is," Davion answered.

"I see. Well, seeing as you already took care of your job and I still have two other users to play with, I'll allow it." Viola smiled.

"But won't that sadist get angry for not getting any action?" Viola asked.

"They already beat him. Just like my Uncle thought, he played too much with his food, and it cost him his life." Davion revealed.

"Oh well, he was a freak anyway. I don't understand why they even allowed him into our ranks." Viola wondered.

"My Uncle has let revenge consume his life. All's fair in love and war for him." Davion replied.

"Well, I can't say I could understand it, but he is the boss. At least until we go back to working for your father." Viola chuckled.

"Too true." Davion smiled as he stood up.

"I'll take my leave, then I need to send this arrow back to my uncle," Davion said as he turned to leave.

"Dio, before you go, I have a question," Viola stated as Davion stopped.

"When you do fight Joshua Joestar, will you let him win, or will you put him through hell?" Viola inquired.

"Shouldn't that be obvious? I'll put him within an inch of his life to see the full extent of his power." Davion grinned as he left.

Next Time…Study Night

Author's Note:

Hey guys, sorry for the wait, but I finally got this chapter finished! I definitely think this was the most disturbing thing I've ever written, even though compared to other fics, this is tame. Honestly, I thought of making Yashimaru more twisted, but I think he was good enough as he was.

Now before I go into anything else, I will explain how Yashimaru got a Star Brand. His Stand obviously had potential as he could steal any organ he wanted. Though even this couldn't kill Salem due to her immortality but it was enough to qualify.

Now there were a lot of little hints and subtle clues in this chapter, but I'm going to let you guys figure it out as my mouth is sealed. Now before anyone asks, yes, the Stand Trio is coming to an end as they will be adding new members, and I'm going to need a new name for them.

That's going to be so much fun as I'm sooooo great with names like this…I'm not. Either way, I'll figure it out as, honestly, I never thought of giving them an official name, but I need one for descriptors.

So the next couple of chapters will take place between volumes 2 and 3, so I'm going to do as much with the little time that allows. I'm just going to assume it was a few weeks or about a month, so that's just what I'm going to do.

Either way, before I go, I'm going to do a new thing for this fic as I now respond to reviews as I experimented doing it with my other fics to make sure I don't get in trouble. So without further ado, I'll get to the one review from the last chapter.

Reviews:

That's all I have, for now, so I'll see you guys next chapter!
