Drift's P.O.V.
Not much has changed in the past seventeen days. Which is both good and bad. No matter where Jamie is, she's still hurting mentally. She had to go home last weekend, and it wasn't great. I'm tired of hearing her cry and there's nothing we can do. After that day, Crosshairs and I both talked about how we feel that all we can do is keep Jamie safe and we'll never see her happy again.
I've been telling him to stop hiding his emotions, but I still couldn't believe he was letting his emotions show without an anxiety attack.
It's been five days since, but this didn't change how Crosshairs tries to hide his emotions. It's risky and not helping his mental health. I've told him I worry more when he's not talking to me. There's nothing else I can do.
It's bad enough Jamie doesn't talk. Glad she doesn't realize she shows us how she's doing and — as much as I don't enjoy hearing her cry — doesn't realize crying tells us a lot.

"You think she knows?" Crosshairs asks as we make sure the hives aren't spreading.
"I don't think so. She knows we worry about her, but I don't think she realizes how much we worry about her."
"Like why hives now? It's not like she's never been stressed. All the cross-functional traveling she's been doing for twenty-one years has to be stressful."
We could run tests ourselves, but all four medics believe this isn't serious and needs treatment. They worry about how this doesn't normally happen. While Jamie is still asleep, Crosshairs goes to talk to Lightning, who'll likely see the rash.

Crosshairs' P.O.V.
"You never come here," Arcee comments.
I forgot the two femmes' rooms are connected, and the door is open as I watch the three femmes who are in the other room run in.
Arcee forces me into the room, "now talk!"
Oh boy, I should have waited until Lightning came to my room. The six femmes are not liking what I'm telling them.

"And there's nothing we can do," Rangeblade sighs, "if you and Drift are struggling to help her."
"What the frag is she dealing with?" Elita-1 asks, "for her not to be stressed like this while helping us with the war while trying to hide all of us. Now she gets a stress rash. I mean, if these are bad, then it's good these aren't frequent, but still."
"It's just small bumps that can be itchy, but it's not good that we've never seen this before," I point out, hoping I don't have to say anything else.
"This is getting scary," Arcee says, "and it's feeling like we can only watch her. Hoping she'll do better soon."
It's Hard telling them Drift and I still are limiting who can be with Jamie. I doubt she won't like more friends with us, but I'd rather not take the chance. Hopefully, soon Drift and I can tell them they can spend time with Jamie. For Now, Lightning knows about the hives.

"...you waited until the last minute!" Prowl scolds.
"We've been working on things," Bee defends, "and hoping Jamie will help us. We'll have things set up, regardless."
"We know, be careful with her," Sideswipe argues.
"I hate saying this, but hopefully she gets to how she was before you three left in February," Prowl tells me, "it's better than this. At least she'd be spending time with friends."
Everyone would rather Jamie isn't struggling mentally, but Prowl is right.

Bumblebee and I figured we wouldn't be talking to Jamie until noon. We hate that we're worried she won't talk, and we were just lucky before.
Crosshairs and Drift leave Jamie with us. I know they worry this could backfire. I didn't Bumblebee would get right to asking Jamie if she wants to help us. Jamie says yes, but we can tell she's not doing good. There's no getting her to have a conversation like before.

I was hoping she'd be talking when her guardians return. At least she's eating. Both issues are important to deal with. They let us take Jamie to the hangar where the party will be.

Bumblebee's P.O.V.
I thought Crosshairs and Drift would come with us to the hangar, but they didn't.
Sideswipe and I have stuff already in the hangar, but not set up.
"I found big spiders, but not like the one you remember," I show Jamie the two large spiders Sideswipe and I got, "and a lot of spider webs."
"Not enough candy though," Sideswipe comments as he gets the box full of bags of candy.
"It's not all for you!" I scold, getting Jamie to laugh, "come on, before we get in trouble for not setting up."

We did our best to not make things too scary, knowing the terror triplets would be at the party. Though we can add things for everyone else on one side of the hangar. In case fake blood and skulls is too scary for the three little girls. I think I can show them how funny skeletons can be — leaving out the lesson about how these are plastic and that it's not good to find a skeleton anywhere.
"Now to build the haunted maze," I tell the two, "we'll have to use the next hangar over for the haunted maze. Not enough room here. Not sure if we can make one for the little ones."
"More work? Ugh," Sideswipe sulks but is also smiling. Jamie isn't looking at him as she laughs.

We finish setting up two hours later. Jamie goes with Lily and Sunstreaker to do some art.
"This feels weird giving you two a report," Sideswipe points out, "but we got her to laugh several times."
"I can't believe what we're dealing with," I sigh.
We're tired of this conversation, so we keep it brief.

Sunstreaker's P.O.V.
Lily was hoping we could get Jamie to do art earlier this month. She found out about the art prompts Jamie does a few months of the year. Except I haven't been able to get Jamie to do art with us. I was probably wasting my time telling Lily that Jamie was busy when Drift told me Jamie is struggling. Lily knows about Jamie's struggles and probably knew that's why the three haven't returned to this dimension until June. It's clear they were hoping being here would help Jamie, but I fear nothing is going to help her. it's hard watching her guardians struggle to make her happy. knowing all they can do is keep her safe and make sure she's eating. Today could be the only good day for weeks, maybe months.
