Continuing his search inside the school, Megurigaoka Academy, Percival Gaynes searches for more hints on why and how the outbreak came, and how the girls of the School Life Club (the sole survivors of this hellish zombie raid) lived in school.

"It says here, from this book, 5 survivors of this school… Yuki Takeya wrote this, and left some hidden clues of her past. She has been attending school, every single day, visiting her Megu-nee, aka Megumi Sakura, one of the victims of this zombie attack."

He walked out of the club room and read, "Aside from Takeya, Kurumi Ebisuzawa, and Yuuri Wakasa, Miki Naoki was introduced as the newest member, along with a dog named Taromaru. The dog, however, was infected by the outbreak, but was cured by the virus, via a special vaccine. However, he was infected for so long that he succumbed to his injuries and died."

He looked up and thought, "These girls… They were living in this school…" He started to explain, "This school is a little world in a big building. Solar panels support electricity, and there are also water purifiers. It also has a biotope, a garden, and other sources for survival."

He arrived at the roof, minutes later, and checked out the garden. "However… The garden is reduced to rotting crops and charred produce. A thunderstorm was responsible for this… for so long." He noticed two graves. He said, "So this is where Megu-nee laid…"

"They set up memorials for Miss Sakura and the dog." He narrated, "And after the end of the horror… Things were never the same for the girls, no… the survivors…"

He kneeled and prayed to the tombs and said, "Know this, Miss Sakura… Your soul will rest, likewise he rest. But I doubt the dog… though I wish to know more. Even so, you and Taromaru will move on. Your girls are proud to live on."

He finished praying and said, "So, basically, this is now a monument for zombies, and their defeat at the hands of humanity, stopping their extinction by the skin of their teeth."

He went back inside and finished his routine search. He responded, "Farra told me that Miki Naoki was spared of their fate… after their defeat. And she's currently located at Casa de Munecas." He stopped and went to the railing. He took a view of the city, and some zombies that appeared from outside. He watched on in silence, knowing that this outbreak cannot end.

Megurigaoka Academy's horror show was already over. But the drama outside of the school, even faraway lands, continued onwards.

Episode 4 - Chapter 2: Trust!
Tiger King's Dark Presence Creates Disloyalty…

Farra called Mundy and asked, "Hello? Mundy, it's Farra… I got a call from Cassie."

"Oi, love…" He said, "We found Shion."

"Good! Go get Shion!"

"Uh… Well, Peter's got it, but I'm staying behind."

"Behind? What are you talking about?" Farra barked, "You had one job to go after Shion Sonozaki! What's taking you two so long?"

Mundy said, "We, uh… have a major problem."

"What? What kind of problem?"

"Someone darker than Shion… Bugger's a bloody demon."

"BUT WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?"

"WHAT?" The others gasped, as Farra told them.

Asahi whispered, "It… NO!"

Mizuki whimpered, "Him? It couldn't be…"

Steven said, "Steven Nevins… Did he-?"

Asahi replied, "I just checked… He left the prison, yesterday. His sentence has ended."

Farra said, "Cassie had a bit of a disturbing relapse, last night… and she felt a dark aura… I did, too, and Mundy just told me… Steven Nevins is here… AND HE'S WITH SHION, AT THE PLACE!"

Mizuki cried, "NO! I just left them there!"

Steven called, "To the BattleVan! AND HURRY!" They rushed off, as Farra tried to call Cassandra.

Cassandra was at the alley, puking in a garbage can. She felt a horrible presence that it repulses her. She moaned, "Diablo… El tonto es el diablo. ¿Por qué? ¿Porqué ahora? ¿Por qué en este momento?"

Miki asked, "Are you alright, Miss Martinez?"

Cassandra was upset, as Miki felt worried. Cassandra said, "I'm sorry, Senora… Right now, we had a dark thought… from the past."

"The past? What do you mean?"

Cassandra said, "If I told you, you'd be devastated."

"I went through hell, back then… Zombies are one thing, but a monster with a dark aura?"

Cassandra bowed her head and whispered, "I promised Farra and the others that we do not speak of him…"

"Him? You mean… Who were you talking about?"

Cassandra sighed and responded, "… … … There was a man… A man The Gang befriended, as he was righteous and awesome. Until…"

"You mean… Did he betray you guys?"

Cassandra paused and whispered, "Yes. He has." She explained, "The Gang and I agreed to keep this under wraps, since it was heartbreaking. The man we knew was named Steven Nevins. He was the founder of our group, long ago… Years ago, Steven and Michelle, his sister, visited their father, the late Pastor Clifton Nevins."

"He's… He's gone?"

"His father… yes… And it's all thanks to your former Master, MIO."

Miki gasped, as Cassandra told Miki everything about Mr. Nevins and MIO's relationship, including his betrayal to The Gang.

Miki was shocked, as Cassandra said, "MIO was an android vampire from Mount Fuji… She lived with the Nevins Family, in order to obtain the family fortune. However, Michelle Nevins saw through her evil scheme. Upon learning of her evil ways, including poisoning Pastor Nevins, MIO used a rare jewel that belonged to the Nevins' mother, Priscilla. After that, Michelle was able to beat her… but all for naught.
Mr. Nevins saw the remains of MIO, who was hiding in the sunlight, buried in rubble of the Nevins Family's mansion. He agreed to align with MIO, in order to help her obtain her dream. However, we learn later that Steven was using MIO, all to destroy her, himself. But he was blinded by power that he forgot his secret plan, and wound up becoming a slave to the vampire. Sadly, he never lost his humanity, but something inside his heart made him forget that he had friends and family. He became cold and callous… and didn't care what happened to The Gang. But…"

She added, "Mr. Nevins made a promise to the vampire that if anything happened to his wife, Heather, and his daughters, June and Beth, he would never forgive himself for what he may do to MIO. Heather died, that day, but she was revived by a gem that Michelle gave her."

"What was it?"

"A power core of Mt. Fuji… It's like a rare jewel that gives power, almost like a Chaos Emerald. Only it was batteries to a vampire in Fuji…"

"More of a source of their powers of immortality?"

"Maybe."

"Wow… The Gang stopped him?"

"Yes, they did. Steven Cooke defeated Steven Nevins, while Peter Giese ended MIO. I was absent from the fight, after my fight with one of MIO's vampires. It drained all of me, but I lived… only I lost something precious… Yoko…"

"Who's Yoko?"

"My cat. She died, protecting me and Yamabuki… And after the battle, I met Yoko Dos, another cat similar to Yoko… And since then, I didn't want Yoko Dos to suffer like how Yoko died…"

Miki nodded and replied, "I once had a dog… His name was Taromaru… Well, he wasn't my dog… He belonged to an old lady that Kei & I met during our trip to the mall. However, the zombies attacked, and Kei, Taromaru, and I were the survivors. Unfortunately, we were stuck in the mall, living off of rations, and could not contact anyone." She whimpered, "One day, Kei left, because she was bored of waiting… She disappeared, after that, leaving me with Taromaru…"

"And that was when you met your friends?"

"Yes… During all this, Taromaru was bitten by one of them… And he became a monster. After Yuki-senpai stopped the zombie attack, sending them home, Taromaru recovered… but he was infected for so long that he died… He didn't like me, at first, but… He usually likes Kei, more than me. By then, we suddenly became friendly, only…"

Miki sniffled, as Cassandra said, "Sounds like we both had harsh experiences, even with pets. Yours died of a zombie outbreak, which he recovered… Mine was killed by a Stand… rather, she used the last of her strength to save me and Yamabuki… But it didn't bring Rook back."

"Rook?"

"The comment about your panties… It reminded me of Reggie… He was there, when he was killed."

"Reggie?"

"Reggie Hadigan III, and he was our friend. He died horribly, and we didn't know. He's a fetish for panties, and wanted to know the material in these undergarments… I apologize if my brother acted that way, but the moment I saw that, I didn't lecture my brother. Mentioning something like that reminded me of Reggie! He didn't have to die… Only because he saved us from a tragic fate. If he didn't save us… I wouldn't even be here…"

"Noble, but a pervert…" Miki said, "But he's all heart. And it all started with that man, Nevins… Curious, since we're both the same… Is he a Stand User?"

Cassandra said, "Sort of… He has a Spirit Caller, the opposite of a Stand."

"I see… I'm sorry…"

"Miki, I want you to promise me… Keep this to yourself." Cassandra responded, "I want you to promise to keep this to yourself. Steven Nevins may be a bad man, but he's with a good heart… However, we cannot forgive him for his recent evil actions. Most of our friends died that day, even those we befriended were gravely injured. Lots of people died… in America, in Asia, in Egypt… And I never forgave myself for letting Yoko die… Even seeing Rook die, and Heather being betrayed by her own husband. The Gang never wanted to hear that name, again… And so, we all agreed to keep his name under wraps. We cannot forgive him, yet…"

Miki said, "I'm sorry…"

She suddenly got a text message, as Miki asked, "So, is he in jail now?"

She gasped in horror, as she whispered, "No… No, I knew it…"

Miki read the message and gasped, "He… He's out of jail?! He escaped prison time, did he?"

"Worse…" Cassandra sniffled, "His sentence ended…"

Miki was shocked, and she moaned, "That's why… That's why just now, Cassandra felt a cold presence…"

Percival returned to the car and said, "We're done here."

"Onii-chan… Wut happen'?" Cy asked.

He said to her, "I have everything searched. This place has everything as said by the evidence."

"Fweh? You agwee wid the outbweak?"

"Yes…" He went in the car, as Cy drove away. He thought, as he was sitting in the front seat, "A biological weapon… turning this school into a fallout shelter. It's like the school planned this. Back then, it suffered sickness, earthquakes, tidal waves, volcanoes, even terrorist attacks… and recently, a pandemic. But zombie attacks that ended humanity… Various cities had the same problem, only the survival rate decreases, every time. What started as hundreds of students and teachers in Megurigaoka, ended with only four."

He said to Cy, "Cy, listen… We should address this to Kotoha, and leave it quiet from the rest."

"Why should we do dat?"

"Miki Naoki is the only active person alive, since Martinez is watching the rest. She knows a lot about the zombie attack. Megurigaoka is like its own city… like it's a self-sufficient country. Now there are four girls left… and they have forgotten what it was like."

Cy said, "I see… Iz almoss wike dey figured it out… I cannot wecall how many in capacity that can-."

"Exactly. The school may be built for education, but it's almost like it was planned for outbreaks like this."

"Like dey knew fwom the stawt?"

He nodded, and then said, "Anyways, we should head back."

Percival and Cy make their exit, as the story continues.

Meanwhile, Peter was searching outside the house, hiding from plain sight. He sensed two dark auras and said, "Shion's in there… and Mr. Nevins…" he contacted Mundy, "Okay, follow my lead, from a distance, and make sure to tag whomever. Shion, Nevins, it matters not."

Mundy whispered, "Right. Make sure you find them."

He searched behind the corner, as a figure walked to the door, holding her stun gun. It was Mion. She was under Mr. Nevins' influence. She sensed Peter and said, "So, they sent one of their flunkies. That, or they caught on to us…" She smirked, "Shion… I promise I will avenge you, starting with him. Play along…" She giggled evilly.

She held up a silver gun and left. Mr. Nevins watched on and smirked, "This game of Chess comes to an end…" He was leaving to the front gate, watching from afar, knowing that he'd accomplished his goal. But what?

Peter looked around and said, "I'm sure Shion is inside…" He knocked on the door and said, "Could be some other visitors… I should ask-." The door opened, and Mion appeared. She said, "Oh, good evening."

"Shion Sonozaki?"

"No, I'm Mion Sonozaki."

"I see… You're her twin sister, right?"

"How'd you guess?"

"It's not Shion… but it's obviously a disguise. Still… She has no Stand." He thought, "I better play along." He said to her, "Look, it's not important, how about I come over for some soy sauce? It's for a friend."

Mion nodded, "Sure. Be right there." She walked off, as Mundy responded, "Mate, that's her!"

"Chillax, I know."

"Huh?"

"I am not buying this Twin Magic bullshit. I should watch her."

They went inside, as Mundy huffed, "Soy sauce? What the bloody hell?"

Peter responded, "It's for my sister. She is into Asian Foods, like Korean."

"Ah, okay."

"Stay silent."

They walked in, as Mion said, "So, I saw you prying by my house. What are you up to?"

He said, "I was just searching the area. I'm a detective for AAW, but right now I'm off-duty. I got reports that an escaped convict just came here."

"Is that it? And you had to fill up on soy sauce, huh?"

"Pretty much. Not much of a soy sauce person, but I'm mostly for modern foods."

"I see…" Mion turned to him and said, "If you're a detective, why are you following me?"

"Because… The escaped convict… kinda looks like you."

"Me?"

"You're a twin, but I am curious about your condition, being that Shion was just here."

"That makes sense. My sister was already out, finished with her time."

He thought, "She doesn't know that Shion escaped prison. Clever…"

"You think you're so cool, saying you can arrest my sister? You have gotten me all wrong."

"Maybe so…" He stepped back, and then said to her, "There's also a man in your house. Not the reason I came for soy sauce… Well, mostly… I mean there was another person that went in. Do you know him? It seems you have a date or something."

Mion was angry, as she held her neck, "I'll ask you, one more time… And you're not going to hurt my sister… Who told you to come to the Sonozaki Estate?"

"Sonozaki Estate? Hmm, this is your home?"

"Yes. And you had to come, sneaking into my property… I'm fed up with the lies."

"Lies? I'm speaking you the truth…"

"I have questions for you!" She held her gun up and barked, "WANNA HEAR IT?"

Peter sighed, "Oh, gimme a break. Why do they always learn the hard way? Alright, I'll spiel. You and I have two escaped convicts inside… One of them is your sister, Shion Sonozaki. She escaped Fort Rawls, last week."

"Do you not think I know that? I have to know… You and your cops cannot stop me, and I have to protect Shion from you!"

"Protect her? Harboring an escaped convict is a punishable offense."

"GRR!" Mion roared, "If you're not gonna give me an answer…"

She pulled the trigger…
BANG!
Mion was shot by Mundy, in the stomach. He called, "Tagged her!"

Peter said, "Thanks. I would've gotten her, myself."

"No need, mate… I'm joining you shortly."

"Not yet. Wait!"

Mion held her wound, as she was in pain. "How did-? You bas-! AAAAAAGH!" She dropped her gun, and dropped to her knees.

He walked to her and said, "Whoever you are, you're in big trouble. You think I didn't come alone?"

"BASTARD!"

She reached for her gun, but Peter stomped on her hand, "ORA!" Mion's hand was destroyed, breaking her fingers off. He barked, "Now, I mentioned your sister, but now for the other escaped convict. Where's Steven Nevins?"

"ASSHOLE!" Mion yelled, but she was shot in the wrist. Peter kicked the gun away and barked, "Hear me now… You cannot escape judgment. I'm after your sister, but I'm also after him. You know that you cannot escape death."

"Who-? Who the hell are you?"

"Just a man who wants soy sauce for his family… and also… Your ass is mine. Mion Sonozaki, if you don't cooperate, I suggest that you give me facts about Steven Nevins, the man that picked your sister."

"YOU FUCKING BAS-!"

POW!
"ORA!" He landed a hard and heavy right hook. She fell to the ground. Peter walked towards her body and said, "Now, let's… try this… again." He jabbed her wound with his right hand and hissed, "WHERE IS YOUR SISTER?"

Mion cackled, "You're too late… Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha! You can't find her… She's already dead! How do you like that, bitch?"

"You killed her? Why?"

"You-? You think I care for my fucking sister? After what she's done in Egypt? She never told me that she'd kill people, including your precious Steven Nevins! He is not even here! It was all me! I wrung the pretty life out of here, at her scrawny neck! And even if it wasn't me, all she'll be choking on is her soft-hearted shit! I stuffed her body down the septic tank, and you'll never find her, rotting away in the sewers! How's that for your act of heroism, fat ass?"

Peter calmly nodded and said, "Is that right? Why did you kill her?"

"Huh? What do you mean? You think I care for your bullshit? Steven Nevins chose me… HE DID! And yet he led me to replace Shion as the leader! I'm more of a powerful person than her, while the rest of you asshole cuntwads can choke on shit, like my sister!" She laughed evilly, as Peter sighed. "So, go ahead… KILL ME! See what happens! You killed the wrong person, because I'm not Shion! You're a pathetic waste of human life! Now… Go ahead and kill me, and see where despair leads you to!"

Peter turned around and said, "I already did." he signaled.

"Eh?"

BANG!
Mion was shot in the head by a sniper bullet. Mion fell dead, as he replied, "That's all I wanted to hear. This girl… She cannot be saved. She painted the picture very well."

Mundy rushed over, as Peter thought, "And he doesn't want to wait…" He called, "What the hell are you doing?"

"Sorry, mate… He was gonna come at you, but he just walked away!"

"Walked away? What are you saying?"

"Mr. Nevins… The guy's far away from the house. Saw him with my own eyes, while you interrogated the girl."

"Which way?"

They went inside, as Mundy called, "This way! We'll go through here."

They stopped in the living room, as it was empty. Peter stopped him, "Nobody here… Except we're not alone."

"An astute observation, my fellows…" Mr. Nevins said, as he was behind the screen door. Only his silhouette was shown. "I did my job, and now all you did was kill Shion Sonozaki."

"That girl is NOT Shion!"

"I know… Besides… I wanted to prevent this from starting, again." Mr. Nevins said, "Before you asked how I escaped, I didn't. I was let go, for good behavior."

"What?" Peter gasped.

"When I overheard your many accomplishments in F City, after my feud with Steven Cooke, I realized that I was wrong about him, and all of you… You seemed to understand justice, in your own way."

"What are you saying?"

Mundy called, "Come out, you coward! You're going back to jail! You think we didn't know?"

Peter said, "Mion would never kill her own sister… Meaning, you had a hand at it…"

"Guilty as charged. But the old saying goes: It's not illegal, if you don't get caught." Mr. Nevins replied, "Shion Sonozaki was my hired gun, just to test you. When I learned of her escape in North Carolina, I reacted… waiting for my time to leave, before you would damage her. But I figured, why not? Let The Gang save the day, as always. I didn't expect to leave jail early… knowing I'm trying to be born-again. I didn't approve of this mannerism of hers, but I refused to let Sethan, her Stand, reemerge… And moreover, her hired mercs, the Gaoka Clan, were fodder for each of you pathetic pricks."

Peter growled, "You son of a-?"

"I understand how you feel, but it's far too late. I wanted to make things right… Starting with the elimination of those that obeyed me, only to defy me. Even so, it's not my decision to make… Only after the end of Haruhi Suzumiya, I learned about my daughter's success… I guess I didn't want to be a burden in the shadows. Perhaps you may consider me… an anti-hero."

"BASTARD!" Mundy aimed his rifle at him, as he yelled, "After what you did, letting Rook die… and having my love go through hell? You think I can forgive you, you wanker?"

"Easy, Mundy!" Peter called, "Don't let him agitate you! He's baiting you!"

"I don't care! That bloody tiger deserves to be dead, like Shion, the murderer!"

"THAT'S ENOUGH!" Peter yelled. Mundy stopped, as Peter said, "Mr. Nevins… As much as you wanted to help, killing your own former hired hitwoman doesn't change anything. What happened with MIO… you had a hand at it!"

"I know… I sensed it, learning the truth… Blinded by power, I wanted vengeance… But I couldn't. That's when I realized that Steven Nevins isn't… isn't relevant, anymore… But I want to redeem my past mistakes, starting with cleaning out the Egyptian Gods' existence. Irie & Sawako chose to stay in their cells, and Yuno Gasai's fate is near… when we meet again. But Shion, she was the worst of them all. Anyone who disobeys me, dies… And even so, they are still loyal to me, the Egyptian Gods. You don't trust me? Fine. I have a long way to regain all of your trust, even for my own sister and family. Heather's already forgiven me… and my daughters… but what about you? I expect an easy answer from you. Then again…"

Peter glared at him, "You bastard… We'll teach you how to regain loyalty."

"In due time…" Mr. Nevins vanished, and then said, "Be careful… Or you'll wind up like them. Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!"

"Bollocks, I hate that man…" Mundy growled.

"Let him go. We can't even catch him…"

"You're right. You can stop time, too, right?"

"Yes. But I didn't use The World to stop Mion. He has time-stop abilities, so I figured I leave well enough alone." He walked off, "Anyways…"

"Where are you going?"

"Soy sauce!" Peter barked, "What, you think this was a cover? I was dead serious!"

"Oh, bugger… That's downright chonky business, right there. Would it be better if you go to the store for soy sauce?"

"No way." Peter said, "I'm not paying for that small bottle of soy."

He walked off, as Mundy aimed his gun at him, "You killed a psycho woman… but still, you can't waltz in and steal soy sauce."

Minutes later, Peter grabbed a huge bottle of soy sauce, leaving behind a small envelope of money. Mundy paused in fright, "He was gonna pay for it?"

Peter huffed, "Twice as much… But it's worth it. I don't know what else to buy."

"Whatever… Mr. Nevins got away, but I don't buy his word."

"Forget him. For now, we accomplished our mission. Only problem is… Where did Shion go?"

"All I found was Mion's body, which we killed. No one else was inside."

"Strange… Shion was here, but then her sister, and Mr. Nevins… Did Mr. Nevins dispose of the corpse… or did Mion bury her?"

Before Peter & Mundy arrived, Mr. Nevins carried Shion's body to an underground area. He thought, as he approached a deep well, "This is a new place I have not heard of… I see this is where they go, when they die… Still, the well inside here is about a hundred feet deep. Shion…"

He placed her in a seated position, and then he said, "Shion Sonozaki, consider this your burial. Yes, a proper burial in dirt with the maggots and worms would've been proper… but you do not deserve those royalties. You failed… You failed MIO… You failed your allies… You even failed me." His aura brimmed in darkness, "You failed them all…" He launched a huge kick and roared, "MUDA!"

BOOT!
He kicked Shion's corpse down the well, and she plummeted into the abyss.

Mundy responded, "I don't know… All I know is that Shion Sonozaki is dead. And our mission is a failure."

Peter replied, "No, it's successful. Dead or alive, we wanted Shion Sonozaki… But Mion is worse off, ten times. We did our job, now we are heading home."

They stepped out, as the BattleVan arrived. Mizuki cried, "PETER! MUNDY! Bad news! Steven Nev-!"

"You're too late, lads." Mundy said, "He got away… Long story, but get everything cleaned up."

The Gang was confused. They stepped out and cleaned up everything. They learn about Mion & Shion, and what happened. They confirmed, since they never mention Mr. Nevins' name, that Mion killed her sister, and Peter & Mundy finished her off.

And with that, the Shion Sonozaki Case comes to a close.

[MISSION: Obtain Shion Sonozaki, dead or alive: Mission Complete!]

Farra asked, "Dude, why do you have soy sauce?"

Peter said, "For my sister. Think we can send it to Chicago?"

The Gang wraps up another adventure… but the story is far from over.

The next day, Asahi got a call from Scarlet. She asked, "Hello? What's up? Oh, Boss… Oh, former boss? WHAT?"

XXXXX

The Gang was in a meeting, as Scarlet returned from her week sabbatical. She stated, "Everyone, bad news… AAW will have to fold. It appears the name is causing confusion."

Steven huffed, "Is that right?"

Scarlet said, "Never mind your accomplishments of stopping Shion… somehow… I'm afraid we'll have to talk to the World Government about this. We will meet tomorrow morning, at the building in Washington. 9am, sharp."

The Gang agreed to leave for the World Government building, hopefully to bring answers to why AAW must now disband.
The Gang has one more task, only for answers.

NOTE: In that scene, the order I did for my version: Teacher and students' ghosts appear in the destroyed Classroom; Kei (as a zombie) walks down the underground halls; Taromaru's ghost is by his leash and bowl, smiling; and Megu-Nee smiling over her grave marker, waving to the audience.
